This study aims to examine the level of students' satisfaction toward the services (i.e. accommodation facilities, transportation facilities, and recreation and sports facilities) provided by the public universities in Bangladesh. The study also aims to identify the major service factors that influence students' satisfaction in public universities in the country. A cross-sectional survey was conducted at six public universities to obtain primary data. A standardized questionnaire was distributed to a total of 500 randomly selected students to collect the data. Several statistical tools, namely, reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were employed to analyze the data. The findings revealed that recreation and sports facilities have the strongest impact on students' satisfaction in the public universities in Bangladesh. Transportation facilities also have positive and significant impact on student's satisfaction. However, the study found a negative correlation between accommodation facilities and students' satisfaction indicating that students are not satisfied with the accommodation facilities provided by the public universities. The findings of this study provide an insight about students' satisfaction that might be useful to authorities of the public universities and other higher educational institutions in designing policies for various services and facilities to be provided to their students.

본 연구는 국내 연안여객선 중 로팍스(Ro-Pax)여객선을 대상으로 거주구 실내디자인의 문제점을 파악하고 개선방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 먼저 기존 연구 및 문헌 조사를 통하여 거주구 특성에 대해 고찰한 후 현재 운항하고 있는 로팍스여객선 7척에 대하여 현장 조사를 실시하였다. 현장조사를 통해 나타난 문제점을 바탕으로 여객선 전문가 38명을 대상 설문조사를 실시하였으며 그 결과 거주구 실내디자인에서 공용시설이 가장 불만족한 것으로 나타났다. 실내디자인 만족도에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위해 다중회귀분석 결과 색채 만족도가 거주구 사용자 만족도에 가장 높은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 거주구 실내디자인지침의 필요성이 높게 나타났다. 연구결과 공용시설의 종류 및 배치, 색채디자인 개선, 거주구 실내디자인지침 마련 등을 실내디자인 개선방안으로 제시하였다.

In view of the fact that modern society has a range of origins causing disability, the population of acquired crippled is escalating. Hence, it is obligatory to facilitate every visitors can utilize facility equitably because public libraries are being changed to compounded service area. Particularly, it is urgent to manage space planning and accommodation by considerate the requirement traits of disabled who are a susceptible social group about knowledge information. This study analysis installation of toilet, the inevitable factor of hygiene facility, for disabled equipped in four different public libraries in Daegu with related on the standards of establishment for prolonged stay through advanced research and legislation connected on handicapped. This study provides foundation data to establish construction plan for disabled to alleviate inconvenience of taking service of public library, and to compose satisfying hygiene facility.

The aged population increasing rapidly, the population rate of over 65 years old was over 7.5% in 2000 in Korea and it means that Korea is aging society. Increasing participation of woman in public affairs, becoming a nuclear family and increasing old aged people who want to stand alone brought about more the old households. But the aged welfare accommodation are still insufficient and more facilities accommodating the aged should be built. 80.5% of people according to poll by the Ministry of Health and Welfare responded the support of the aged is a serious problem in Korea. This result indicates the reality that the system for the aged are unsatisfied. Although these situations made a new concept of 'silver-town' of the welfare facility for the aged, it is under a transition in the aspect of the social system and the architectural aspect as well. This study will select good examples among facilities in the metropolitan area, analysis space and propose resonable program.

This study investigated the extend to which the facilities satisfactorily accommodate people with different disabilities and their specific needs for improving the facilities. Systematic interviews were conducted with 90 disabled people using the non-propertionate stratified cluster random sampling method. Frequency analysis, Chi-square tests, Duncan tests, and analysis of variance(ANOVA) were employed for data analysis. The findings indicated that the respondents' assessment of accommodations and needs for improving accommodations differed by the type of disabilities. People with physical disabilities were the least satisfied with stairs, followed by seating in stadiums and/or theaters. For people with visual disabilities, the lack of guidance and information facilities was the most difficult problem. People with hearing disabilities often pointed out difficulties in using public telephones. meanwhile, people with physical disabilities asked for easy access to assistive devices and improved mobility-related circumstances. yet people with visual disabilities expected to improve way-finding relevant issues, such as detectable warnings on walking surfaces and guidance and information facilities, whereas people with hearing disabilities desired to develop hearing-aid equipments, such as TDD and assistive listening systems.

This study was conducted to evaluate the subjective ideas about the determinants of quality in ambulatory care unit among outpatients and medical staff of a university hospital, and to compare the differences of the ideas, between patients themselves and hospital staff. A self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted covering 799 outpatients and 190 hospital staff in March, 1998. The questionnaire included general characteristics and 26 determinants of ambulatory care quality. The following are summaries of the findings: 1. Both of outpatients and hospital staff perceived, "Physician's knowledge" as the most important determinant of medical care quality. 2. In respect of 7 determinants related to physician's knowledge and skill, both outpatients and hospital staff perceived "physician's knowledge and skill" as important determinants. The scores of determinants such as, "Not doing unnecessary examinations", and "Assignment of adequate number of patients and duty schedule for the physician" were significantly different between outpatients and hospital staff. 3. In respect of 4 determinants related to doctor-patient relationship, both outpatients and hospital staff perceived "attention to patient's complaints" as the most important determinant. The scores related to the determinants such as "kindness of physician" and "explanation of treatment outcome" were significantly different between outpatients and hospital staff. 4. Among the amenities related determinants, "Modern facilities and equipments" were perceived as the most important determinant in both group. 5. In respect of 8 determinants related to non-financial accommodation, outpatients perceived, "Waiting hours for treatment" as the most important determinant, and hospital staff perceived, "Kindness of hospital staff". 6. In respect of 4 determinants related to financial accommodation, outpatients perceived, "Fare account of medical cost" as the most important determinant, and hospital staff perceived, "Increasing reimbursements". Further comprehensive research should be made on the evaluation of perceptions of medical care quality, both of outpatient and inpatient care, among patients and hospital staff. So good quality in medical care will be achieved based on clients' needs.

With accommodation of a population of many young people and families due to Hangang River New Town Housing Project and development of railway station spheres, a need is increasing to improve the quality of public libraries service for Gimpo citizens and to establish more libraries. This study thus analyzed the book lending data of Gimpo City libraries, and the city's libraries-related social media big data in an effort to forecast the users, and thus to propose four library service improvement measures. First, in terms of book gathering and book development policy plans, a proposal was made to expand good books for children and youth, and to expand general original-language books related to learning of English, and English books for children. Second, in terms of the establishment of additional libraries or specialization strategy, a proposal was made to establish exclusive children's libraries or English libraries, and to establish library specialization strategy with a focus on children and English themes. Third, in terms of library culture programs, a proposal was made to provide library culture programs in relation to children education and to expand weekend library culture programs. Fourth, in terms of library facilities, considering the convenience of parking facilities, a proposal was made to establish libraries near apartment complexes.

This study was designed to examine agro-healing services and programs provided and operated by farms in Korea. The results of the analysis of the agro-healing programs and operation of farms were as follows. The purpose of the operation of farms was to raise productivity by managing farms in a cooperative way through agricultural production, education and healing, and to raise income by processing and selling agricultural products. It was difficult to access farms by public transport and thus visitors had to use their own cars. The size of farms varied. The main resources utilized in the surveyed programs were plants, rural environments and landscapes, and agricultural products. The programs were conducted using resources that were commonly found in rural areas. Facilities on each farm were equipped with facilities (indoor and outdoor learning place, gardens, vegetable gardens, orchards, etc.) and convenience facilities (parking lots, drinking fountains, kiosks, etc.) to support program operation. However, facilities for the handicapped and accommodation facilities were insufficient. The programs operated on each farm utilized agricultural resources, farm produce, and rural resources and were classified into activities such as making, feeling, and growing. The average number of people who operated the family-centered program was 2-3, having qualifications such as welfare horticultural therapists, forest interpreters, experience instructors, and social workers. In addition, they had expertise in medicinal food, dietary life, and social welfare, and they also had essential expertise required to operate programs.

최근 중국에서 농촌관광개발이 활발하게 진행 중에 있지만 경관적 측면을 고려하지 않은 채 진행되고 있어 이용자들에게 만족스럽지 못한 결과를 가져왔다. 이에 본 연구는 농촌관광활성화를 위한 경관요소의 도출 및 평가를 통해 농촌관광지 경관계획에서 중요하게 고려해야 할 경관요소와 그에 따른 개선방안을 모색하였다. 요인분석을 통해 농촌관광활성화를 위한 경관요소를 도출하였고, 관광객을 대상으로 중요도 만족도 평가를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 1)농촌관광지 경관계획 시 가장 중요하게 고려해야할 경관요소로 지역상품, 안전시설, 공공주차장의 순으로 나타났다. 2)경관개선방향으로 교통과 숙박시설에 있어서는 지역특성을 반영하여 특색 있는 경관조성을 지향하고, 쓰레기수거시설, 식음료시설, 네트워크 및 전력시설은 질서감이 있는 계획을 통해 경관정비 및 유지관리가 필요하다. 하천 및 호수는 자연성 회복, 오폐수정화시설은 차폐경관에 의해 경관정체성을 확보하도록 한다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 "대고지질지모관광지구"의 활성화에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것이며, 나아가 중국의 농촌관광지조성 및 관리에 있어 실효성 있는 기초자료가 될 수 있을 것이다.

건물 내 필수적인 이동수단으로 사용되는 승강기는 비상상황 시, 탈출수단으로 이용될 경우 기대효과가 높기 때문에 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 서울특별시 초고층 건축물 가이드라인에서 층수는 지하 7층, 지상 53층, 바닥면적 $6,800m^2$ 연면적 $127,050m^2$, 용도는 문화 및 집회시설 판매시설 업무시설 숙박시설(호텔) 공동주택(아파트)의 건축물을 설계하면서 피난용승강기를 별도로 설치하기에는 효율적이지 못하다는 판단 하에 승용승강기의 설치기준에 따라 설계된 승강기를 피난용으로 사용하기로 결정하였으나 이에 대한 세부 설계지침내용이 아직까지 마련되어 있지 않아[1] 화재 시 공기주입, 스프링클러 가동, 스마트폰연동 탈출 가능한 클라우드 기반 피난유도 승강기시스템을 제안하였다.
