취약면적법과 DMEA를 활용한 지상전투차량 유공압 현가장치의 취약성 평가 (The Vulnerability Assessment of Hydro-pneumatic Suspension of Ground Combat Vehicles Using Vulnerable Area Method and DMEA)

  • Vulnerability assesses the loss of major performance functions of GCV (Ground Combat Vehicles) when it is hit by enemy's shell. To decide the loss of major functions, it is determined what effects are on the performance of GCV when some components of GCV are failed. M&S (Modeling and Simulation) technology is used to vulnerability assessment. The hydro-pneumatic suspension is used as a sample part. The procedures of vulnerability assessment of the hydro-pneumatic suspension are shown as follows: 1) The components of the suspension are defined, and shot lines are generated evenly around the part. 2) The penetrated components are checked by using the penetration equation. 3) The function model of the suspension is designed by using IDEF0. 4) When the failure of the critical components of the suspension happens, its effect on the function of the suspension can be estimated using DMEA (Damage Mode and Effects Analysis). 5) The diagram of FTA (Fault Tree Analysis) is designed by exploiting DMEA. 6) The damage probability of the suspension is calculated by using FTA and vulnerable area method. In this paper, SLAP (Shot Line Analysis Program) which was developed based on COVART methodology. SLAP calculates the damage probability and visualizes the vulnerable areas of the suspension.

  • This paper presents application of RCM(Reliability Centered Maintenance) in waterworks system. The reliability-based probability model for predicting the failure probability is established and FTA(Fault Tree Analysis) is proposed to considering RCM. To calculate failure probability, Weibull distribution is usually used due to age related reliability. FTA is an engineering analysis which is using logic symbols. The real historical data of CMMS(Computerized Maintenance Management System) make full use of case study for waterworks system. Consequently, the RCM would be likely to permit utilities to reduce overall costs in maintenance and improve the total benefit.

  • 본 논문에서는 부스트 컨버터와 벅-부스트 컨버터의 동작 특성을 고려하여 Fault Tree Analysis(FTA)를 작성하고 같은 용량으로 설계하여 동작 온도에 따른 고장률의 차이를 비교 및 분석한다. 승압용 컨버터로 사용되는 부스트 컨버터와 벅-부스트 컨버터의 파라미터 설정에 따른 인덕터의 고장률과 커패시터의 고장률을 계산한다. 또한 두 컨버터의 설계 파라미터에 의해 달라지는 커패시터 고장률과 정격전압 차이에 의해 달라지는 다이오드의 고장률을 구한다. 각 소자의 부품 고장률은 MIL-HDBK-217F를 이용하여 구한다. 작성한 FTA에 부품 고장률을 적용하여 고장률과 평균고장시간을 예측한다.

  • 일반적으로 커패시터는 빈번한 충 방전으로 시스템의 수명에 큰 영향을 미친다. 본 논문에서는 고전압, 대전류의 HVDC 서브모듈용 필름 커패시터의 핵심 고장원인을 분석하여 커패시터의 설계 및 제조공정의 주의사항을 분석한다. 먼저 커패시터의 FMEA 수행을 통해 고장원인, 고장모드, 고장영향에 대해 분석한다. 커패시터의 고장에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 고장원인과 영향을 정량적으로 평가하기 위해 커패시터에 대한 고장나무(Fault-tree)를 제시하고 설계인자와 구동환경의 조건에 따른 고장률을 분석한다. 커패시터 고장의 핵심 원인이 커패시턴스 변화에 있음을 확인하고, 커패시터의 고장률 저감을 위해서 커패시터의 설계와 제조공정 중 온도상승, 코로나 발생, 전극팽창, 절연거리 감소를 최소화할 필요가 있음을 검증한다.

  • In this paper we present a safety plan to be applied to the development of the TCS(Train Control System). The safety plan that can be applied to the life cycle of a system, from the conceptual design to the dismantlement, shows the whole process of the paper work in detail through the establishment of a goal, analysis and assessment, the verification. In this paper we study about the making a plan, the preliminary hazard analysis, the hazard identification and analysis to guarantee the safety of the TCS. The process far the verification of the system safety is divided into several steps based on the target system and the approaching method. The guarantee of the system safety and the improvement of the system reliability is fellowed by the recommendation of the international standards.

  • Hot Standby sparing system detecting faults by using software, and being tolerant any faults by using Hardware Redundancy is difficult to perform quantitative reliability prediction and to detect real time faults. Therefore, this paper designs Hot Standby sparing system using hardware basis self checking logic in order to overcome this problem. It also performs failure mode analysis of Hot Standby sparing system with designed self checking logic by using FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis), and identifies reliability assessment of the controller designed by quantifying the numbers of failure development by using FTA (Fault Tree Analysis)

양방향 컨버터의 커패시터 위치에 따른 고장률 분석 (Analysis of failure rate according to capacitor position of bidirectional converter)

  • 기존 양방향 컨버터와 출력 커패시터를 추진용 배터리 쪽으로 이동시킨 양방향 컨버터의 고장률 변화를 분석한다. 두 컨버터의 회로 구조적 동일성과 차이점을 분석하여 커패시터 위치 변경으로 동작전압이 저감됨을 확인한다. 전압스트레스 인자와 동작온도에 따른 커패시터 부품 고장률을 구하고 양방향 컨버터의 고장나무에 적용하여 컨버터 전체 고장률을 구한다. 동작온도와 커패시턴스 값에 따른 고장률과 평균고장시간을 비교 분석하여 설계 변경으로 인한 장 단점을 분석한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to find the cause of the damage to the GCB(Gas Circuit Breaker), since the GCB of the 154kV power plant at the Hap-Cheon Dam has already been damaged twice. We researched the characteristics of this class of circuit breaker and the possible causes for this type of damage to the GCB using the FTA(Fault Tree Analysis) Method. We studied the optimal maintenance method of the GCB, the stability analysis and power serge protection of Hap-Cheon Dam, and the power serge and fault list of the power transmission line to help prevent a reoccurrence of the problem.

화학공정 주변지역에 미치는 위험성(사회적 위험성 및 개인적 위험성) 평가방법에 관한 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on the Risk(Individual and Societal) Assessment for Surrounding Areas of Chemical Processes)

  • Two methods of the numerical method of CPQRA(Chemical Process Quantitative Risk Analysis) and the manual method of IAEA(International Atomic Energy Agency) were used to estimate the individual risk and societal risk around the chemical plant. Where, the CPQRA is introduced to verify the theoritical background of the manual of international atomic energy agency. The Gaussian plume model which has a weather stability class D with velocity of 5m/s was applied to calculate dispersion of hazard material. Also, 8-point method was employed to the effects of accidents for wind distribution. Furthermore, historical record, FTA(Fault Tree Analysis) and ETA(Event Tree Analysis) were used to estimate the probability or frequency of accidents. Eventually, the individual risk shows isorisk contour and the societal risk shows F-N curve around hazard facility, especially in chemical plants. Caulculated results, which both individual and societal risk, by using IAEA manual show simillar results to those of calculation by numerical method of CPQRA.

철도사상 사고위험도 평가 모델 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of Risk Evaluation Models for Railway Casualty Accidents)

  • This study shows risk-based evaluation results of casualty accidents for passengers, railway staffs and MOP(Member of public) on the national railway in South Korea. To evaluate risk of these accidents, the hazardous events and the hazardous factors were identified by the review of the accident history and engineering interpretation of the accident behavior. A probability evaluation model for each hazardous event which was based on the accident appearance scenario was developed by using the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) technique. The probability for each hazardous event was evaluated from the historical data and structured expert judgment. In addition, the severity assessment model utilized by the Event Tree Analysis (ETA) technique was composed of the accident progress scenarios. And the severity for the hazardous events was estimated using fatalities and weighted injuries. The risk assessment model developed can be effectively utilized in defining the risk reduction measures in connection with the option analysis.
