반도체 생산 시스템에서의 최소 공유 장비를 구하는 최적 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimal Algorithm to Find the Minimum Numbers of Sharing Resources in Semiconductor Production Systems)

  • Since FMS(Flexible Manufacturing System) such as semiconductor production systems have the characteristic that each device has to be commonly used in several stages, it is difficult to find an optimal solution. In this paper, we proposed the new algorithm which can get the optimal ratio of sharing resources. We will implement the proposed algorithm to semiconductor production systems. We introduce the optimal algorithm, which is modeled and analyzed by ExSpect, a petri net based simulation tool. When there exist conflicts of sharing resources, the scheduling method is adopted, which gives a priority to the most preceded process. The suggested algorithm can be used not only in semiconductor production systems but also in various FMS.

  • Generally, a planning problem in a flexible manufacturing system is considered to be a composite of three interdependent tasks : part selection, loading, and routing mix. This research presents a mathematical model which can concurrently solve part selection, loading, and routing mix problems, so the problems that are caused by treating the planning problems independently are solved. The mathematical model is aimed to minimize system unbalance and the number of late parts, including constraints such as machine capacity, tool magazine capacity, and tool inventory. To illustrate the application of the model, an example is included. Solution procedure based on Lagrangian relaxation is also suggested for larger-sized problems.

  • 이산사건 시스템은 시간의 이산순간에 상태변화가 발생하는 시스템으로서 공정제어, Robotics, 교통시스템, Flexible Manufacturing System, 통신등 많은 분야의 시스템이 이산사건 시스템들이지만 아직도 포괄적이고 융통성 있는 제어이론이 연구되지 않았다. 본 연구는 특히 Real-Time Temporal Logic Framework(RTTL)에서 비결정적으로 발생되어지는 확정적인 사건들로써 유발되어지는 비결정적 이산사건 시스템의 모델링 방법을 제시하였다. 이 방법을 두 개의 machine들로 구성된 Flexible Manufacturing System(FMS)에 적용하여 설명하였다. 이 방법은 복잡한 이산사건 시스템의 모델링을 모듈화하여 간편하게 표현 할 수 있는 우수한 특성을 가지고 있다.

  • This paper gives the detail of the work carried out to develop real-time control software for Flexible Manufacturing Systems. A basic design philosophy to implement such software is proposed. The major features are the partitioning of complicated control actions into simplified ones, structured programming and multi-threaded transaction-based tasks. The software operates on the basis of passing task-to-task messages via mailboxes, causing appropriate actions to be taken by each task. Each task represents a separate subprocess so that the subprocesses can be run simultaneously. The task-to-task message could be easily replaced by computer-to-computer communication, using LAN, demonstrating that the software methods developed produce a flexible designs for control software of an FMS. A method of linking such software to simulation software is suggested as a potentially powerful additional design-tool.

단일영상정보를 이용한 FMS용 부품인식시스템 (A Part Recognition System for FMS based on single Image Data)

  • In this paper, we developed a prototype part recognition system for FMS (Flexible Manufacturing System) by comparing the features extracted from CAD data and the features obtained from the image through a single camera, Good or distinct features with high recognition efficiency for a specific part are obtained automatically and intelligently according to the rules from CAD data. Since the selection of distinct features are done automatically without any human interference, the developed system seems to be quite robust. Fourther, since it uses only a few distinct features on-line among many features and all the time-consuming calculations are done off-line, it is possible to recognize each part quickly and accurately. In order to evaluate the performance and the effectiveness of the developed system, two example(L and T shaped parts) are tested and the results are reported.

  • 유연생산시스템은 많은 병렬적이고 동시 발생적인 기계들, 장치들, 수송 시스템들로 구성되며, 이러한 것들은 각각 버퍼들, 도구들, 라우터들로 나누어진다. 시스템에서 여러 생산품들의 병렬적인 흐름은 자원들을 이용하기 위해 서로 경쟁하게 되며, 유연생산시스템의 이러한 특징들로 인해 교착상태가 발생한다. 교착상태는 상대방이 점유하고 있는 자원을 서로 요구하는 과정에서 흐름이 멈추어진 상태를 말하므로, 이러한 교착상태의 탐지와 회피는 매우 중요한 문제이다. 이 사실에 근거하여 일반 플레이스와 자원공유플레이스 사이의 관계를 나타내는 DAPN(Deadlock Avoidance Petri Wet)을 정의하여 교착상태를 탐지하고 회피하기 위한 새로운 알고리즘을 연구하였다. 또한 제안된 알고리즘을 유연생산시스템의 특징을 가진 모델에 적용하여 그 결과를 제시한다.

  • With the success of flexible manufacturing systems(FMSs), flexible assembly systems(FASs) have been developed to automatic factories further. As in a cellular FMS, a celluar FAS is considered as the most flexible and feasible assembly systems configuration. This paper presents a method for the integrated layout design in cellular FASs. Unlike the traditional paper, this paper deals with the formation of cells and the layout of cells for jobs with operation times on different machines. The procedure in this paper consists of two distinct phases. The first phase presents machine arrangement in a double rows flowline. cell formation not to allow intercellular movements, and integrated layout design in cellular FASs considering the characteristics of FAS, layout, and production factors This phase uses older optimal algorithm. The second phase proposes to balance the system with an objective of reducing the degree of workload deviation in the cells. Simulated annealing method is used to balance the system. This phase also shows the integrated layout design in cellular FASs with the cost less than total cost of the first phase.

  • The decision making process for production planning in FMS usually involves multiple conflicting objectives and criteria. This study consists of prescreening and analytical phase. In the prescreening phase, criteria are used to reduce the set of alternative system configuration down to a small number of candidates. After this phase, a multiobjected programming model is formulated for each remainning configuration.

  • The grouping of parts into families and machines into cells poses an important problem for the improvement of productivity and quality in the design and planning of the flexible manufacturing system(FMS). This paper proposes a new algorithm of forming machine-part groups in case of the bottleneck machine problem and shows the numerical example. This algorithm could be applied to the large scale machine-part grouping problem.

  • The grouping of parts into families and machines into cells poses an important problem in the design and planning of the flexible manufacturing system(FMS). This paper proposes a new optimal algorithm of forming machine-part groups to maximize the similarity, based on branching from seed machine and bounding on a completed part. This algorithm is illustrated with numerical example. This algorithm could be applied to the generalized machine-part grouping problem.
