The Analysis of Levee Break using FFC-9 (FFC-9 모형을 이용한 하천제방 붕괴해석)

  • 하천 제방붕괴 해석을 위한 FFC-9 모형을 개발하였다. 본 모형은 하천제방의 붕괴해석을 위해 하천의 흐름해석 및 제방붕괴 알고리듬이 결합된 물리적 이론에 기반한 프로그램이다. 개발된 프로그램을 이용하여 낙동강 실제제방의 붕괴해석에 적용하였다. 적용된 제방은 경북 고령의 낙동강 본류 우안에 위치하고 있는 실제제방이 2000년 9월 15일 07:40분경에 붕괴를 시작하였다. 붕괴폭은 110m로 최초에는 60m, 수위 강하시 50m로 붕괴는 지속되었다. 붕괴지점의 제방고는 22.80 m이며 계획 홍수위는 20.26m, 사고당시 하천의 수위는 17.10m, 제내지 수위는 9.80m로서 제내지와 제외지의 수위차는 7.3m였다. 제방 붕괴로 인한 여러 피해중 농경지 침수는 150 ha에 이르렀다.. 연구모형을 2000년 9월 12일 00시${\sim}$18일 23시 기간동안 낙동강 유역의 홍수로 인한 제방 붕괴상황에 대해 적용하였다. 계산구간은 현풍${\sim}$적포교의 33.55 km구간으로서 전체 단면의 개수는 67개이며 평균적인 계산거리간격은 ${\Delta}x$ = 0.5 km 이고 계산시간간격은 0.5 hr이며 제방붕괴시의 계산시간간격은 0.25 hr으로 설정하였다. 이 구간에서의 주요 지류로서는 회천과 황강이 고려되었다. 상류단 경계조건으로서는 현풍 수위표지점의 유량 수문곡선을 사용하였고, 하류단 경계조건으로서는 적포교 수위표지점의 수위 수문곡선을 사용하였다. 본 모형에 적용된 조도계수는 이전의 홍수조건으로부터 검증된 $0.020{\sim}0.033$의 범위를 이용하였다.

Temperature Control Improvement of Pressure Heating Roller for Flexible Flat Cable Production (Flexible Flat Cable 생산성 향상을 위한 가압용 히팅롤러의 온도제어개선)

  • Pressure heating rollers with temperature control were mounted to a flat cable laminating machine (FCLM). Pressure heating rollers should be heated up to the setting temperature $(175^{\circ}C)$ and kept on to producing good quality flexible flat cables (FFC). Existing Pressure heating rollers took more than 70minutes to the setting temperature and did not keep on the setting temperature in production. Temperature controller, electric power controller, material and diameter of rollers and heat capacities were changed to improve the temperature control of the pressure heat rollers for better production of the FFC. Thus, the reaching time to the setting temperature (RT), temperature stability time (TST) and temperature hunting (TH) were measured and compared with the existing pressure rollers case. The RT of A roller was shortened by 50minutes, and B roller was shortened by 15minutes. The TST of A roller was shortened by 13minutes, and B roller was shortened by 15minutes. The THs of both A and B rollers were settled up to ${\pm}5^{\circ}C$. Finally, the productivity of the FCLM and the quality of the FFC were increased.

Power Sharing Method for a Grid connected Microgrid with Multiple Distributed Generators

  • In this paper, a grid connected microgrid with multiple inverter-based distributed generators (DGs) is considered. DG in FFC mode regulates the microgrid as a controllable load from the utility point of view as long as its output is within the capacity limit. The transition mode causes a change in frequency of microgrid due to the loss of power transferred between main grid and microgrid. Frequency deviation from the nominal value can exceed the limit if the loss of power is large enough. This paper presents a coordinated control method for inverter-based DGs so that the microgrid is always regulated as a constant load from the utility viewpoint during grid connected mode, and the frequency deviation in the transition mode is minimized. DGs can share the load by changing their control modes between UPC and FFC and stabilize microgrid during transition.

Synergistic Effect of Polygodial with Imidazole Drugs on the Antifungal Activity (천연물 Polygodial과 Imidazole계 화합물의 병용에 의한 항진균 활성의 증진)

  • The fungistatic and fungicidal activities of amphotericin B, fluconazole, miconazole, econazole, and 5-fluorocytosine against Saccharomyces cerevisiae were estimated in the presence of 1/2 minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and 1/2 minimum fungicidal concentration (MFC) of polygodial, respectively. Among them, the antifungal activities of miconazoles by polygodial was still shown against several yeast-like fungi including Candida albicans, Candida utilis, Cryptococcus neoformans, except for Candida krusei. The combination of polygodial with imidazole drugs against Saccharomyces cerevisiae was further examined using the macrobroth dilution checkerboard method. The fractional inhibitory concentration (FIC) and the fractional fungicidal concentration (FFC) index between polygodial and miconazole were 0.16 and 0.19, while the combination of polygodial with econazole exhibited the FIC index of 0.19 and the FFC of 0.25, respectively. These results suggest that polygodial and the imidazoles on the fungistatic and fungicidal action are highly synergistic.

Selective Combination Effect of Anethole to the Antifungal Activities of Miconazole and Amphotericin B (Miconazole과 Amphotericin B의 항진균 활성에 대한 Anethole의 선택적 병용 효과)

  • The combination effect of anethole with amphotericin B, fluconazole, miconazole, or 5-fluorocytosine was investigated against Saccharomyces cerevisiae. When combined with $\frac{1}{2}$ minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) or $\frac{1}{2}$ minimum fungicidal concentration (MFC) of anethole, the antifungal activities of fluconazole and 5-fluorocytosine were not changed, but the fungistatic and the fungicidal activities of miconazole were increased 64-fold, respectively. In the case of amphotericin B, the fungistatic activity was increased 2-fold, while the fungicidal activity was decreased 2-fold. The combination effect of anethole with miconazole or amphotericin B was also investigated at the various concentrations using the macrobroth dilution checkerboard method. The fractional inhibitory concentration (FIC) and the fractional fungicidal concentration (FFC) index between B exhibited the FIC index of 8.25 and the FFC of 32.06, respectively. Thus, it is analyzed that the combination of anethole with miconazole or amphotericin B on the antifungal action shows synergism and antagonism, respectively.

Implementation of a coherent detector with minimum errors for radar receiver (최소 에러를 갖는 레이다 수신기용 동기 검파 회로의 구현)

  • In this study, when the coherent detector has been developed and manufactured in the receiver of radar system, we have suggested and realized the 'Frequecny-Feedback correction (FFC)' that extracts its errors affecting the performance of radar, such as amplitude imbalances (k), phase imbalance ($\varphi$) between channels and offset votlages and corrects them to improve radar performances. Applying the FFC proposed, we analyzed sthe properties of the coherent detector and compared its perfomances after and before correction procdure. After the correction sequence, the amplitude imbalance was improved upt o 2dB and the phase imbalance over 9$^{\circ}$. The image rejection ratio (IRR), one of the figures of merit of radar system, was made better above 9 dB after correcting the coherent detector which possessed 23 dB before.

  • 현재 우리나라에서 사용되고 있는 강우-유출모형은 하도추적 방식을 모형 내에 내장되어 있는 해석절차나 유역내 모든 관거 및 하도에 일괄하여 적용하는 방식으로 되어있어 도시유역과 같이 관거와 하도가 복합적으로 구성되어 있는 경우 적절한 해석방식의 채택이 힘든 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 관거 및 하도의 개별적인 해석이 가능한 2009년 하천설계기준의 도시유역 유출해석 모형으로 포함된 FFC2Q모형을 이용하여 관거와 하도가 복합적으로 구성되어 있는 홍제천 유역을 선정하여 흐름이송 해석방법을 다양하게 설정하여 강우-유출 특성을 분석하고 실측자료에 대한 모의 방식별 분석결과에 대한 적합도를 분석하였다. 적합도 분석결과 하도에 Muskingum-Cunge법, 관거에 Kinematic-Wave법을 적용하여 흐름이송해석을 하는 경우가 가장 적합한 것으로 나타났다.

  • Recently runoff reduction facilities such as detention ponds were rarely used and limited primarily to cases. A specific installation criteria and method of design for runoff reduction facilities is insignificant in our country. Also it has difficult problems with quantification. A detention pond being installed at outfalls and generalized in our country is adopted as basic form with infiltration facilities because quantification index for runoff reduction facilities have not been developed. A processing of detention pond design has to determinate storage volume and outlet form is very complex and wasting human resources and time in the planning step. In this study, we have been unified FFC11-SimPOND being able to simply calculate size with simplified design method of culvert outlet and made a computing model (SimPOND-CO) for practical users.

  • In this study (II), the module developed in the previous study (I) has been tested on application and numerical stability. The runoff module was compared the result of analysis with two different models (FFC2Q and $Vflo^{TM}$) considering characteristic of infiltration. To examine the application and stability of developed module, runoff aspect was simulated under the variety case of rainfall intensity, effective soil depth, elapsed time. The development module was presented typical type of infiltration process looking physically, the different of saturation point on soil type, and characteristic of soil type. Also, the module was reflected in the runoff feature about rainfall intensity and time distribution. Finally, this paper drew a conclusion that result of rainfall-runoff analysis as compared with difference models (FFC2Q and $Vflo^{TM}$) has a high accuracy.
