This paper presents a design and a control of a biped walking AGO-robot and dynamic walking simulation for this system. The biped walking RGO-robot is distinguished from other one by which has a very light-weight and a new RGO type with servo motors. The gait of a biped walking AGO-robot depends on the constrains of mechanical kinematics and initial posture. The stability of dynamic walking is investigated by ZMP(Zero Moment Point) of the biped walking AGO-robot. It is designed according to a human wear type and is able to accomodate itself to human environments. The joints of each leg are adopted with a good kinematic characteristics. To test of the analysis of joint kinematic properties, we did the strain stress analysis of dynamic PLS and the study of FEM with a dynamic PLS. It will be expect that the spinal cord injury patients are able to train effectively with a biped walking RGO-robot.

This paper presented a design and a control of a biped walking RGO and walking simulation by this system. The biped walking RGO was distinguished from the other one by which had a very light-weight and a new RGO type with 12-servo motors. The vibration evaluation of the dynamic PLS on the biped walking RGO was used to access by the 3-axis accelerometer with a low frequency vibration for the spinal cord injuries. The gait of a biped walking RGO depended on the constrains of mechanical kinematics and the initial posture. The stability of dynamic walking was investigated by a ZMP (Zero Moment Point) of the biped walking RGO. Recently, it is increased by degrees to construct complex and large structures. In general, in order to solve the dynamic problem of these structures they have used finite element method(FEM). In this method, however, it is necessary to prove whether its results are correct or not. Therefore it requires much effort, time and many expenses for dynamic analysis of complex and large structures. Authors have developed the transfer dynamic stiffness coefficient method(TDSCM) which is the new vibration analysis method for complex and large structures on personal computer, and confirmed that the results of this method are good for these structures on personal computer. In this paper, TDSCM is applied to the torsional vibration analysis for the shaft system which consist of concentrated disks and shafts of continuous body. First, we formulate algorithms for torsional free and forced vibration analysis, and compare the results of TDSCM and FEM.
In this paper, to examine the difference between the linear and non-linear static, dynamic analysis for a structure, a cantilevered beam was used. Then, an external transverse static and dynamic loads were applied at the free end of the beam. Classical theories were used for the linear analysis and the EDISON CSD solver, co-rotational dynamic FEM program, was used for nonlinear analysis. In the static analysis, effects of the load for the beam deflection were observed in the linear and nonlinear analysis. Then, normalized displacement of tip of the beam was predicted for different frequency ration and a significant difference was obtained in the vicinity of the resonant frequency. In addition, effects of frequency and time for the beam deflection were investigated to find the frequency delay.
It is necessary to modify the state-of-the-art of vector control theory, because of the phase asymmetry(static end effect) in the Linear Induction Motor(LIM). The dynamic characteristic analysis method of the vector controlled LIM using coupled FEM and control algorithm taking into account the movement is proposed. The focus of this paper is the analysis relative to phenomena of static end effect due to the motor structure. To prove the propriety of the proposed method, the Digital Signal Processor(DSP) installed experimental devices are equipped and the experiment is performed.
The change of flow stress due to dynamic recrystallization during hot forming process is investigated. A series of mechanical tests has been conducted at various temperatures, and constitutive relations and recrystallization kinetics were formulated from the test results. The effect of dynamic recrystallization to the flow stress was implemented to a commercial FEM code by conditioned remapping of state variables. The datum strain of stress compensation was optimized to minimize the overestimation of forming loads. Suggested datum was formulated as an exclusive function of critical strain for recrystallizalion and validated by mechanical tests and microstructural observations.
A directly coupled Boundary Element and Finite Element Model was applied to the dynamic analysis of a coupled acoustic silencer with vibratory wall. In this cupled BEM-FEM muffler model, the BEM model was used to discretize the acoustic cavity and the FEM model was used to discretize the vibratory wall structure. Then the BEM model was coupled with the FEM model. The results of the coupled BEM-FEM model for the dynamic analysis of the simple expansion type reactive muffler configurations with flexible walls were verified by comparing the predicted results to analytical solutions. In order to investigate the effects of the muffler's structural flexibility on its transmission loss(TL) characteristics, the results of the coupled BEM-FEM model in conjunction with the four-pole parameter theory were utilized. The muffler's TL characteristics using the BEM-FEM coupled model with flexible walls as compared to other muffler configurations was studied. Finally the muffler's TL values with respect to different wall's thickness are predicted and compared.
Structural vibration is a significant problem in many multi-part or multi-component assemblies. In aircraft industry, structures are composed of various fasteners, such as bolts, snap, hinge, weld or other fastener or connector (collectively "fasteners"). Due to these, prediction and design involving dynamic characteristics is quite complicated. However, the current state of the art does not provide an analytical tool to effectively predict structure's dynamic characteristics, because consideration of structural uncertainties (i.e. material properties, geometric tolerance, dimensional tolerance, environment and so on) is difficult and very small fasteners in the structure cause a huge amount of analysis time to predict dynamic characteristics using the FEM (finite element method). In this study, to resolve the current state of the art, a new approach is proposed using the FEM and probabilistic analysis. Firstly, equivalent elements are developed using simple element (e.g. bar, beam, mass) to replace fasteners' finite element model. Developed equivalent elements enable to explain static behavior and dynamic behavior of the structure. Secondly, probabilistic analysis is applied to evaluate the PDF (probability density function) of dynamic characteristics due to tolerance, material properties and so on. MCS (Monte-Carlo simulation) is employed for this. Proposed methodology offers efficiency of dynamic analysis and reality of the field as well. Simple plates joined by fasteners are taken as an example to illustrate the proposed method.
Operational Modal Analysis (OMA) is a technique for identification of modal parameters by measurement of only the system's response. On many lightweight structures, such as load-speaker cones and disk drive read/write heads, is impossible or impractical to measure the input forces. Another characteristic of lightweight structure is their sensitivity to mass loading from sensors. The Scanning Laser Doppler Vibrometry(SLDV) allows response measurements to be taken without mass loading. One disadvantage of OMA testing compared to tradition input output modal testing is the OMA mode shapes are un-scaled. This means that the mode shape obtained from an OMA test can not used for analytical structural modification studies. However, the un-scaled mode shapes from an OMA test can be used to update a Finite Element Model (FEM). The updated FEM can then be used to analytically predict the effect of structural modifications. This paper will present the results of an OMA test performed on a simple plate and motor in operating conditions. The un-scaled mode shapes from this test will be used to update a FEM model of the system. The updated FEM model will be then be used to predict the effect of attaching a mass to the plate. The shapes predicted by the FEM for the modified system will be compared to a second OMA test on the modified system
