  • Human like robot arm posture for grasping by considering the shape of the target object is quite a challenge in the field of robotics. In this paper, an optimized grasp posture with respect to the shape of the object considering the wrist joint angle and elbow elevation angle, in order to verify that the grasp posture is human like has been proposed. Given a target object, the candidates for grasp are computed by the method described in this paper. For each candidate, the closed loop inverse kinematics has been solved for the corresponding hand position and orientation. From the obtained joint angles through inverse kinematics, the elbow elevation angle has been computed and compared with the elbow elevation angle obtained through human movement data by the characteristic equation. After considering all the candidates, the hand position and orientation with minimum wrist joint and difference in elbow elevation angles has been utilized as the optimized grasp posture. Simulation results are presented.

  • In the middle of that a information form is being formlessly changed to diverse deirections, a design and a space as physical consequence show not only a allegory but mutually relational charicteristic meaning a nonboundary and nonlinear form by development of modem digital culture. Following development of the modern digital culture, a design and space which are physical results, show a point of correlative specificity, allegory, nonlinear and nonboundary, Not only a design and culture but also various circles handle a hypertext as a representative pivot in this change. this has same contexts as rhizome possessing a asignifiante and nomadic characteristic said by Felix Guattari and Gilles Deleuze. An ideal of rhizome space shows historical decisions, unexpected accidents, a concepts, an individual. a group, social compositions above an contrifugal exterior force, This study examines into surroundings designed by a hypertext and rhizome through a case accordingly and infers an ultramodern characteristic in conventional precognition with synthesizing a peculiarity of the digital generation space.

  • Sophus Lie's research is regarded as one of the most important mathematical advancements in the $19^{th}$ century. His pioneering research in the field of differential equations resulted in an invaluable consolidation of calculus and group theory. Lie's group theory has been investigated and constantly modified by various mathematicians which resulted in a beautifully abstract yet concrete theory. However Lie's early intentions and ideas are lost in the mists of modern transfiguration. In this paper we explore Lie's early academic years and his object of studies which clarify the ground breaking ideas behind his theory.

  • A study on marine sponges was conducted by SCUBA diving at Ulleungdo Island, Korea, from July 2001 to August 2003. Two species, Mycale (Naviculina) ulleugensis and Mycale (N.) neunggulensis, are new to science. Mycale (N.) ulleugensis n. sp. seems close to M. chungae based on the shape of spicules, but differs in the size of megascleres and sigmas, Mycale (N.) neunggulensis n. sp. seems close to M. flagellifer Vacelet and Vasseur in the type and size of spicules, but differs in the shape of naviculichela. Naviculichela I of M. flagellifer has a spine on the upper part of the felix.

  • The present work deals with obtaining the critical buckling load and the natural frequencies of clamped, orthotropic, rectangular thin plates subjected to different linear distributed in-plane forces. An analytical solution is proposed. Using the Ritz method, the dependence between in-plane forces and natural frequencies are estimated for various plate sizes, and some results are compared with finite element solutions and where possible, comparison is made with previously published results. Beam functions are used as admissible functions in the Ritz method.

  • A way how to teach a general understanding of switched mode power supplies (SMPS) is shown. A fourth order PWM DC-to-DC converter with limited duty cycle range is treated as an example and a survey over important data (maximum voltage and current ratings for the elements, rms- values for the semiconductor devices and a rough approximation of the losses) of the circuit is given. Furthermore, a converter model based on duty ratio averaging is established. Continuous mode of operation is used. The results make it possible to estimate the applicability of the given converter structure and offer sufficient material for the calculation, design, and analysis and give a better insight into switched mode energy conversion.

  • The first part of this thesis gives some brief explanation of the theory and history of imaginary elements in analytic geometry in the 19th century. The second part of this thesis discusses the theory of imaginary elements of synthetic geometry in the first half of the 19th century. Then the next part mentions the theory of imaginary elements of geometry in the second half of that same century. Particularly Christian von Staudt's and Felix Klein's theories are handled in this part. Von Staudt, who has completed the system of the synthetic projective geometry, used ‘involution’ in order to introduce a new concept ‘imaginary elements’- imaginary points, imaginary lines and imaginary plane-in synthetic geometry. Klein applied von Staudt's theory as he convey the result of the research in algebraic geometry in a picture. Von Staudt's and Klein's research may be regarded as the top of the effort to investigate possible relationship between real and imaginary structures.

  • Vibration analysis of rotating beams is a topic of constant interest in mechanical engineering. The differential quadrature method (DQM) is used to obtain the natural frequencies of free transverse vibration of rotating beams. As it is known the DQM offers an accurate and useful method for solution of differential equations. And it is an effective technique for solving this kind of problems as it is shown comparing the obtained results with those available in the open literature and with those obtained by an independent solution using the finite element method. The beam model is based on the Timoshenko beam theory.

  • The incidence of esophagogastric junction (EGJ) cancer has been significantly increasing in Western countries. Appropriate planning for surgical therapy requires a reliable classification of EGJ cancers with respect to their exact location. Clinically, the most accepted classification of EGJ cancers is "adenocarcinoma of the EGJ" (AEG or "Siewert"), which divides tumor center localization into AEG type I (distal esophagus), AEG type II ("true junction"), and AEG type III (subcardial stomach). Treatment strategies in western countries routinely employ perioperative chemotherapy or neoadjuvant chemoradiation for cases of locally advanced cancers. The standard surgical treatment strategies are esophagectomy for AEG type I and gastrectomy for AEG type III cancers. For "true junctional cancers," i.e., AEG type II, whether the extension of resection in the oral or aboral direction represents the most effective surgical therapy remains debatable. This article reviews the history of surgical EGJ cancer treatment and current surgical strategies from a Western perspective.

  • Software vulnerabilities are becoming more and more increasing, their role is to harm the computer systems of companies, governmental organizations and agencies. The main objective of this paper is to propose a method that will cluster future software vulnerabilities that may spread. This method is developed by combining the Multiple Correspondence Analysis (MCA), the Elbow procedure and the Kmeans Algorithm. A simulation was done on a dataset of 15713 observations. This simulation allowed us to identify families of future vulnerabilities. This model was evaluated using the silhouette index.
