스피커 드라이브 특성 예측 기법 (Prediction Method of Loudspeaker Driver Characteristics)

  • 스피커 드라이브 설계에 있어 부품 단계의 물리적 특성과 자기회로부의 전자장 유한요소 해석 결과를 적용하여 드라이브의 TS 파라미터, 주파수 응답 특성 및 전기 입력 임피던스 특성을 예측할 수 있는 기법을 제안한다. 중량 감소 및 비대칭 자속 밀도 분포를 개선하기 위한 설계에 있어서 주파수 응답 특성과 전기 입력 임피던스 특성의 예측 결과는 실측치와 잘 일치하였으며, 비대칭 자속 밀도 분포의 해석을 통하여 2차 고조파 왜곡 특성의 향상 등에 응용될 수 있을 것이다. 제안된 기법은 자기회로부 설계에 있어서 시행 착오의 과정을 줄이는데 이용되어 질 것으로 기대되며, 또한 설계 초기단계에서 목적의 드라이브 구성 부품을 선택하는 지침을 제공하는데 이용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • Flame bending has been extensively used in the shipbuilding industry for hull plate forming In flame bending it is difficult to obtain the desired shape because the residual deformation dependson the complex temperature distribution and the thermal plastic strain. Mechanical bending such as reconfigurable press forming multi-point press forming or die-less forming has been found to improve the automation of hull plateforming because it can more accurately control the desired shape than line heating. Multi-point forming is a process in which external forces are used to form metal work-pieces. Therefore it can be a flexible and efficient forming technique. This paper presents an optimal approach to determining the press-stroke for multi-point press forming of curved shapes. An integrated configuration of Finite element analysis (FEA) and spring-back compensation algorithm is developed to calculate the strokes of the multi-point press. Not only spring-back is modeled by elastic plastic shell elements but also an iterative algorithm to compensate the spring-back is applied to adjust the amount of pressing stroke. An iterative displacement adjustment (IDA) method is applied by integration of the FEA procedure and the spring-back compensation work. Shape deviation between the desired surface and deform£d plate is minimized by the IDA algorithm.

  • 유한요소법을 통하여 유성압연기에 의한 스테인리스 강관 압연공정을 연구하였다. 3개의 롤에 의한 만네스만 공법을 압연공정에 적용하였다. 보통 유성압연은 냉간가공으로 시작하여 열간가공으로 종료되며, 기존의 압출공정에 비해 공정단축과 생산비절감의 장점을 갖고 있다. 압연공정은 다양하고 복합적인 공정변수를 가지고 있으며, 각각의 변수들은 성형결과에 영향을 미친다. 따라서 유성압연의 다양한 공정변수가 해석에 고려되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 스테인리스 강관성형의 가능성과 생산성을 검토하였고, 소재예열 및 자전속도, 제품두께 변화를 해석에 반영하였다. 스테인리스 강관 압연공정은 성공적으로 시뮬레이션 되었고 최적의 압연조건을 결정하는데 유용할 것이다.

  • This paper describes the natural frequencies obtained through FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and Numerical Analysis which uses the boundary conditions to each equation of motion and the consecutive conditions at each supporting point. And then. we studied on the optimal position determination of middle supporting points to maximize the natural frequency of a beam at 24 Models. We present the data of optimal condition for designing a beam.

  • The inherent drawback of iron-core type permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM) is detent force that is dependent on several major factors such as PM length, slot clearance, and skewing. To minimize the detent force, this paper proposes a structure optimization using the combination computation of two dimensional (2-D) finite element analysis (FEA) and response surface methodology (RSM). The RSM, that is a collection of the statistical and mathematical techniques, is utilized to predict the global optimal solution based on the FEA calculated results of the detect forces for different combinations of factors. With the help of the combination computation the high capacity iron-core type PMLSM with more than 12000 N propulsion forces only contains less than 3 N detent forces.

  • This paper shows the method of winding connection and the balance of three phase of dual inverter systems used for offshore wind power generator. In order to satisfy low cost manufacturing of large scaled wind generator, the number of slot per pole per phase should be reduced. For this reason, in this research, the number is selected as '1' which is the minimum number that stator can have. Based on the prototype machine, three types of machine for the analysis are selected, and various performances especially in terms of electrically balanced condition are also investigated. Moreover, in this paper, new inductance modeling of dual 3-phase considering cross-coupling between two inverter systems is proposed. The several inductances such as mutual-, synchronous inductances are studied. By using FEA, based on calculated the flux linkage of d and q-axis, the validity of the proposed inductance modeling is confirmed.

Numerical evaluation for vibration-based damage detection in wind turbine tower structure

  • In this study, the feasibility of vibration-based damage detection methods for the wind turbine tower (WTT) structure is evaluated. First, a frequency-based damage detection (FBDD) is outlined. A damage-localization algorithm is visited to locate damage from changes in natural frequencies. Second, a mode-shape-based damage detection (MBDD) method is outlined. A damage index algorithm is utilized to localize damage from estimating changes in modal strain energies. Third, a finite element (FE) model based on a real WTT is established by using commercial software, Midas FEA. Several damage scenarios are numerically simulated in the FE model of the WTT. Finally, both FBDD and MBDD methods are employed to identify the damage scenarios simulated in the WTT. Damage regions are chosen close to the bolt connection of WTT segments; from there, the stiffness of damage elements are reduced.

  • Low-hydrogenated DLC films were coated on the Mo-tip FEAs by 'layer-by-layer' process based on the plasma-enhanced CVD method. The hydrogen content in the DLC film deposited by the 'layer-by-layer' process was appeared to be remarkably lowered through SIMS analysis. Also, the low-hydrogenated DLC-coated Mo-tip FEA showed good potentiality for FED applications in terms of turn-on voltage, emission current, emission stability and light emitting uniformity.

Calculation of Pressure Profiles in a Molecular Flow Regime using LTSpice IV

  • This article describes an electrical network analysis (ENA) method to calculate the pressure distribution of a vacuum system in a molecular flow regime. The vacuum system was modeled using electrical components. For an accurate analysis, a complexly combined pipe model, excluding entrance conductance, was employed and the pressure distribution was simulated using ENA. A vacuum system comprising three vacuum pumps was used for simplicity. In addition, the ENA results were compared with results from finite element analysis (FEA) and experimental measurements. The pressure distribution profiles estimated from ENA, performed using the LTSpice IV software, were in agreement with FEA and experimental results.

폴딩 블라인드 리벳의 제조기술에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Manufacturing Technology of a Folding Blind Rivet)

  • In this study, the manufacturing technology of a folding blind rivet was developed through finite element analysis(FEA). Numerical simulations of the folding blind rivet used to join two components have been performed with the finite element method for the forging process design. To minimize the process and manufacture the folding blind rivet without defects, a variety of design rules were proposed. From the results of FEA applied process design rules, an optimal six-stage process was proposed. The finite element simulation results such as shape of the forged rivet, strain distribution and forging load were investigated for the usefulness of the forging process of the blind rivet. In addition, the experiments have been implemented and their results were compared to the analytic results.
