노지와 시설 재배 달래의 특징적인 향기 성분 비교 (Comparison of characteristic aroma compounds in Korean wild chive (Allium monanthum Maxim.) cultivated in open-fields or greenhouses)

  • 본 연구에서는 달래의 특징적인 향 특성을 확인하기 위해 봄에 수확한 노지 재배 달래와 시설 재배 달래를 SAFE법으로 추출하고 GC-MS-O를 통해 휘발성 향기성분을 분석하였다. 달래는 알데하이드류와 황 함유 화합물의 함량이 높았으며, 휘발성 성분으로는 2-methyl-2-pentenal, 2-methyl-2-butenal 및 (E)-1-propenyl propyl trisulfide의 함량이 높았다. 달래의 향 특성에 기여하는 주요한 향 활성 화합물은 2-methyl-2-pentenal, (Z)-1-propenyl methyl disulfide, dipropyl disulfide, dimethyl trisulfide, (E)-1-propenyl propyl disulfide, dipropyl trisulfide, (E)-1-propenyl propyl trisulfide, 2-isopropyl-3-methoxypyrazine 및 2-sec-butyl-3-methoxypyrazine으로 총 9종이 확인되었다. 2-Isopropyl-3-methoxypyrazine와 2-sec-butyl-3-methoxypyrazine은 달래의 흙 냄새에 기여하는 화합물로 가장 강한 향 강도를 보였다. Dipropyl disulfide, dimethyl trisulfide 및 dipropyl trisulfide는 달래의 양파 및 마늘과 같은 향 특성에 기여하는 화합물로 향 강도가 피라진류 다음으로 강했고, 노지 재배 달래에서 시설 재배 달래보다 더 강하게 감지되었다. 2-Methyl-2-pentenal, (Z)-1-propenyl methyl disulfide 및 (E)-1-propenyl propyl disulfide는 달래에서 자른 양파와 같은 매운 향 특성에 기여하는 화합물로 노지 재배 달래에서 더 높은 함량과 강도를 보였다. (E)-1-Propenyl propyl trisulfide 와 (E)-1-propenyl methyl disulfide은 절인 야채 및 양배추 냄새에 기여하는 화합물로서 노지 재배 달래에서 낮은 함량과 향 강도를 보였다.

FDS를 이용한 실습선 한바다호 화재 및 피난 연구 (A Study on Fire and Evacuation of TrainingShip HANBADA using FDS)

  • Maritime accidents caused by a ship include collisions, sinking, stranding and fire etc. This study is intending to consider fire accidents among such diverse marine accidents. It is much likely that various sorts of fires break out because crews are living in a narrow space for long periods of time consequent on the ship's characteristic of sailing on the sea. This study carried out a simulation through the special program for fire analysis - FDS (Fire Dynamics Simulator) in order to find the effective evacuation time, i.e. life survival time. Particularly, this study did comparative analysis of the influence on the survival of cadets based on the collected simulation data by fire size and sort. As a result of the analysis, It was analyzed the Evacuation Allowable Limit Temperature $60^{\circ}C$ and resulted that there is no influence in evacuation by temperature. In case of visibility analysis, it reached to 5m which is the Evacuation Allowable Limit at 117 seconds under the condition of wood fire in 1MW. When there is Kerosene in 1MW, it took 92.4 seconds to reach by 5m which is the Evacuation Allowable Limit. Theoretical evacuation time for the non-tilted ship was 118.8 seconds in 1MW sized fire so it is shown that the most passengers are met the evacuation safety in case of wood fire. However, the majority of passengers could not be ensured the evacuation safety in Kerosene case.

원전 화재방호구역의 화재위험 분석을 위한 FDS 적용성 (Applicability of FDS for the Fire Hazard Analysis of the Fire Zone at Nuclear Power Plants)

  • 원자력발전소의 화재방호규정은 정성적인 화재위험성평가와 정량적인 화재위험도분석에 기반을 두며, 화재위험은 심층화재방어개념인 화재 예방, 화재 진압, 및 피해 최소화의 3가지 요소에 균형을 유지하면서 화재방호계획에 의해 관리되고 있다. 최근 화재위험 상세평가는 일반적으로 존모델 또는 필드모델을 이용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이런 추세에 따라 최신 화재모델링 도구인 FDS를 이용하여 원자력 발전소의 방화지역에 대한 정량적 화재위험분석 및 화재영향 평가가 가능한지 그 여부를 확인하였다. 이의 결과 화재모델링을 이용한 정량적 위험분석은 원자력발전소의 방화지역에 대한 정량적 위험도 분석뿐만 아니라 화재로 인한 원자로 노심 손상빈도를 개선할 수 있는 응용 도구로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Interfacial Natures and Controlling Morphology of Co Oxide Nanocrystal Structures by Adding Spectator Ni Ions

  • Cobalt oxide nanostructure materials have been prepared by adding several concentrations of spectator Ni ions in solution, and analyzed by electron microscopy, X-day diffraction, calorimetry/thermogravimetric analysis, UV-vis absorption, Raman, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The electron microscopy results show that the morphology of the nanostructures is dramatically altered by changing the concentration of spectator ions. The bulk XRD patterns of $350^{\circ}C$-annealed samples indicate that the structure of the cobalt oxide is all of cubic Fd-3m $Co_3O_4$, and show that the major XRD peaks shift slightly with the concentration of Ni ions. In Raman spectroscopy, we can confirm the XRD data through a more obvious change in peak position, broadness, and intensity. For the un-sputtered samples in the XPS measurement process, the XPS peaks of Co 2p and O 1s for the samples prepared without Ni ions exhibit higher binding energies than those for the sample prepared with Ni ions. Upon $Ar^+$ ion sputtering, we found $Co_3O_4$ reduces to CoO, on the basis of XPS data. Our study could be further applied to controlling morphology and surface oxidation state.

시판 밴댕이젓의 Aroma-Active 성분의 구명 (Identification of Aroma-Active Components in Salt-Fermented Big-Eyed Herring on the Market)

  • Volatile flavor compounds in salt fermented big eyed herring were analyzed by vacuum simultaneous distillation solvent extraction/gas chromatography/mass spectrometry/olfactometry and aroma extract dilution anlaysis. A total of 44 volatile compounds were detected by GC/O analysis. Of these, 23 were positively identified, and composed of aldehydes(7), esters(5), ketones(4), sulfur containing compounds (3), aromatic hydrocarbons(2), alcohol(1) and nitrogen containing compound(1). Predominant odorants (Log3FD$\geq$5) in sample were ethyl butanoate(bubble gum /sweet candy-like), 3 methylbutyl butanoate (almond /nutty), 1 octen 3 one(earthy/mushroom like), (E,E) 2,6 nonadienal(roasted wheat/grainy), dimethyl trisulfide(soy sauce /cooked cabbage like), 2 acetylpyrazine(nutty/baked potato like) and unidentified compound(RI=1867, seaweed like).

Membrane Perturbation Induced by Papiliocin Peptide, Derived from Papilio xuthus, in Candida albicans

  • Previously, papiliocin was isolated from the swallowtail butterfly Papilio xuthus and its antimicrobial activity was suggested. In this study, the antifungal mechanism of papiliocin against Candida albicans was investigated. Confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) and 1,6-diphenyl-1,3,5-hexatriene (DPH) fluorescence analysis indicated that papiliocin disturbed the fungal plasma membrane. Moreover, the assessment of the release of FITC-dextran (FD) from liposomes further demonstrated that the antifungal mechanism of papiliocin could have originated from the pore-forming action and that the radius of the pores was presumed to be anywhere from 2.3 to 3.3 nm.

안면 형태학적 특성과 성격 특성 사이의 연관성에 대한 탐색 연구 (Exploration Study on the Association between Morphological Characteristics and Personality)

  • There have been many studies to find out association between the face characteristics and some diseases or the personality and the health state, but there have been few association studies between the face characteristics and the yin/yang personality. We would like to suggest that the yin/yang personality is associated with the face characteristics. We collected 1,471 subjects from the February, 2008 to July, 2010. We divided into three groups of subjects by a yin/yang personality score and analyzed the face characteristics after adjusting for age. The Analysis of Covariance and Scheffe test was conducted to certify the difference among three groups. P-value for significance was under 0.05. The significant face characteristics were SH36 in men, and FD50_51, SH36, FArea04, FAreaRatio4, FR01, FR05 in women. There is some association between the face characteristics and the yin/yang personality.

공기유입구 위치에 따른 유입공기의 풍속이 배연시스템 성능효율에 미치는 영향 연구 (The Analysis on the Effect of Supply Air Velocities by Location of Supply Air Damper on the Performance Efficiency of the Smoke Exhaust Systems)

  • 배연설비는 연기를 배출한 만큼 공기가 유입되도록 계획된다. 이때 유입공기의 속도가 배연에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 FDS를 통하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 화재의 위치로부터 급기구가 가까이 설치된 경우 화재 플럼으로 유입되는 기류속도가 빨라져 상승하는 화재 플럼을 흩트려 버리는 현상이 일어남을 발견하였다. 그로인해 배연성능이 저하되어 연기층의 강하가 더욱 빠르게 촉진되었으며 흐트러진 화재 플럼은 연기층을 교란시켜 가시거리를 더욱 나쁘게 하였다. 따라서 공기유입구의 위치는 화재의 위치로부터 충분히 이격된 위치에 설치하여 화재 플럼으로의 유입공기속도를 낮추도록 하여야 배연효율이 좋아진다는 것을 확인하였다.

Nd:YAG 레이저빔을 이용한 아연도금강판(SECC)과 쾌삭강봉(SUM24L)의 용접에 관한 연구 (Welding behavior between Zn-coated steel plate and free cutting carbon steel rod by Nd:YAG laser beam)

  • This work was tamed out to apply a laser welding technique in joining between a Zn coated low carbon steel plate(SECC) and a free cutting carbon steel shaft(SUM24L) with or without W coating. Experiments were carried out and analysed by applying the FD(factorial design)method to obtain the optimum Laser welding condition. Optical microscopy, SEM, TEM and XRD analyses were performed in order to observe the microstructures in the fusion zone and the HAZ. Mechanical properties of the welded specimens were examined by microhardness test, tensile test and twist test. There was no flawed Zn in the fusion zone by EDS analysis. This means that during the welding process, Zn gas could be eliminated by appropriate shielding gas flow rate and butt welding gap. Ni coating itself did not influence on the tensile strength and hardness. However, twist bending strength and the weld depth of the Ni-coated free cutting carbon steel were lower as compared with those of the uncoated free cutting carbon steel. It was attributed to a lower absorbance of laser beam to the shin Ni surface. According to the results of the factorial design tests, the twist bending strength of welded specimens was primarily affected by pulse width, laser power, frequency and speed.

성능기반 화재모델(FDS)을 이용한 원전 방화지역 화재위험 분석조건에 대한 민감도 해석 (Sensitivity Analysis for Fire Risk Conditions of Fire Area at Nuclear Power Plant with Performance-based Fire Model (FDS))

  • 본 연구는 원자력발전소의 방화지역에 대한 화재위험을 전산유체역학모델인 FDS를 이용하여 평가한 내용이다. 원자로 안전정지를 유지하기 위한 스위치기어실이 화재지역으로 선정되었으며, 화재 시나리오는 가상 화재조건을 기준으로 구성되었다. 본 연구의 주요 목적은 화재 모델링의 주요 입력항목인 열 발생율과 분석 모델 격자 크기를 변경한 경우 프로그램에 의하여 나타나는 결과값의 민감도를 분석하는 것이다. 그 결과는 전산유체역학모델에서 개선이 필요한 항목과 함께 결론에 제시되었다.
