  • A concrete structure has become bigger and higher because of development of construction technology and a change in construction environment. Also it tends to focus on repairing, reinforcement and exterior in harmony with environment for structure maintenance and performance improvement. The research is about eco friendly durable painting applicable to concrete structure using civil and architecture. it purpose to improve external beauties and durable problems due to flexibility by variation of temperature, adhesion of exterior wall, crack and delamination in existing organic and mineral painting. For those problems, we made a eco friendly pre-paint that is made with preliminary treatment mixture as a highly enriched waterproof agent and adhesive increasing agent in preprocessing mixture. Then we performed an experiment on durability of prevention neutralization of concrete, durability abrasion, hiding power, adhesion, temperature resistance and resistance to chemical attack. The result of an experiment shows that hiding power is over 0.96 in standard test, durability abrasion test got higher value 1mg than water paint 75mg and tensile strength is 6 times higher than standard waterproof specification.

  • From the studies on a few specific chapters of Tibetan Medical Painting, following conclusions were obtained. 1. The doctors of Tibet had to be not only academically and morally perfect, but he must show and have respect for his religion and his religous leaders and Gods. 2 The most main causes for all the disease that Tibetan Medicine resumed were hatred, delusion and ignorance of human mind which can make the physiological bile, wind, and phlegm to turn into pathological ones. 3. There is the classification of primary cause, which would be the human mind mentioned above, and the secondary cause which include dietary, behavior, seasonal problems, etc. 4. The Tibetans thought the digestive power is very important in the improvement or degravation of the disease. 5. More chapters were held for explaining the disease of fever, its clssification, stages, and cures which can indirectly show that the Tibetans might have thought it was very serious and could be very harmful. 6. The treatments for all the kinds of disease not only include medication and external therapy but also dietary and behavior regulations.

  • A Study on Effects of the Runner and the Gate of double shot injection molded Parts using CAE Double shot injection molding can inject two different materials or two different colors in the same mold in a injection molding process. Double shot injection molded parts can be characterized that the base part maintains strength and specified part can inject soft-material. It can reduce the production cost by single automatic operations. In this paper, we designed double shot injection mold for automobile emote control To inject secondary part, this part is used as an insert after external appearance of product is injected. CAE analysis was progressed gate location and runner size as variables. The analysis result is reflected in mold design process. As a result, it could solve problems which are generated in the conventional mold. Additionally, cost can be downed by reducing runner weight. As well as it could omit painting process because the surface of finished product is improved through new mold.

  • Among pigment used at work of Dan-Chung, Emerald Green is specific illuminating fluorescent light of green. It is very difficult to change other organic or inorganic pigment. All of the internal high class pigment has rare light. But Emerald Green is superior to fresh color and stability out of industrial chemical products. It forms over 50% of quantity and importance of a pattern painting. Emerald Green prohibited to produce because of its toxicpollutants, so required to changing pigment development. It is characterized to excellent color, convenient work, economical, against-sunlight, against-air pollutant and durability. The result of a test is follows; 1. We are investigated into producing internal natural Emerald Green, import external pigment and industrial synthesis method etc. but unable to buy because of its toxic pollutant. 2. We are made six samples by yellowish and green is hpigment mixing. We tested on against sunlight and air pollutant. The best mixing ratio is follows. Titanium Dioxide R760 : 18g- Chalk, White Wash : 10g- Permanent Yellow : 7g- Cyanine Green : 8g- Chrome Yellow : 3g- Resin(Vehicle) : Acryl Emulsion(Styrene + 2-Ethyl HexylAcrylate + Methyl Meth Acrylate) 8%

  • This study demonstrates the application of hyperspectral analysis as a pigment identification method for modern and contemporary Dancheong, the polychrome surface on traditional Korean wooden buildings. In particular, green pigments are the focus of this study. Green pigments in modern and contemporary Dancheong have the largest variation of materials and show a noticeable timeline. Thus, they are most suitable for estimating the manufacture or restoration period of Dancheong. Hyperspectral analysis is a noncontact, long-distance measurement technique that has advantages in the field of Dancheong analysis. It is capable of identifying both organic and inorganic pigments, unlike existing analysis methods. For this experiment, green and other pigments used during the modern and contemporary era were selected and made into painted samples under various mixing conditions that reflect their actual uses. Through hyperspectral analysis, their reflectance characteristics were observed, which enables the derivation of four main features that can distinguish the type of pigments used for color mixture. Based on these, a pigment identification system was designed in the form of a flowchart, and its utility was confirmed through site application. Despite some limitations at this stage, the technique can be complemented by considering proper measurement methods or the continuous accumulation of samples and data. If a database on various materials, mixing ratios, painting techniques, and other external interference factors is developed in future research, it would provide the foundation for a faster and safer analysis environment of Dancheong sites.

  • Art is the product from the combination of politics, economy, and social and cultural aspects. Recent development of digital media has affected on the expansion of visual expression in art. Digital media allow artists to use sound and physical interaction as well as image as an plastic element for making a work of art. Also, digital media help artists create an interactive, synaesthetic and visual perceptive environment by combining viewers' physical interaction with the reconstruction of image, sound, light, and among other plastic elements. This research was focused on the analysis of the relationship between images in art work and the viewer and data visualization using sound from the perspective of visual perception. This research also aimed to develop an interactive art by visualizing physical data with sound generating from outer stimulus or the viewer. Physical data generating from outer sound can be analyzed in various aspects. For example, Sound data can be analyzed and sampled within pitch, volume, frequency, and etc. This researcher implemented a new form of media art through the visual experiment of LED light triggered by sound frequency generating from viewers' voice or outer physical stimulus. Also, this researcher explored the possibility of various visual image expression generating from the viewer's reaction to illusionary characteristics of light(LED), which can be transformed within external physical data in real time. As the result, this researcher used a motif from Piet Mondrian's Broadway Boogie Woogie in order to implement a visual perceptive interactive work reacting with sound. Mondrian tried to approach at the essence of visual object by eliminating unnecessary representation elements and simplifying them in painting and making them into abstraction consisting of color, vertical and horizontal lines. This researcher utilized Modrian's simplified visual composition as a representation metaphor in oder to transform external sound stimulus into the element of light(LED), and implemented an environment inducing viewers' participation, which is a dynamic composition maximizing a synaesthetic expression, differing from Modrian's static composition.

  • This study is aimed at discussing the possibility of content production, utilization and expansion, focusing on the exhibition case of Danwon Art Museum run by Ansan Cultural Foundation. In 1991, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism named Ansan as the City of Danwon since it is believed to be the hometown of Danwon Kim Hong-do (1745~?), a painter of the late Joseon Dynasty and a well-known master of genre painting. As a result, Ansan is making various efforts to utilize Danwon Kim Hong-do for its unique resource through internal and external business such as the creation of Danwon Sculpture Park, the operation of Danwon Art Museum, and the planning of Danwon Kim Hong-do Festival. However, the biggest problem with Ansan is that there are not many collections of Kim Hong-do. Ansan has owned a total of six works as of May this year: a deer and a boy, flowers and a bird, A view of clouds on the water, Daegwallyeong, Yeodongbin, A way to Singwangsa. Accordingly, Danwon Contents Center has set up a vision to systematically collect, preserve, and display various visual and artistic materials related to Kim Hong-do, offering high-quality information based on digital data. In other words, it is a complex cultural information agency of One-Source Multi-Use, which combines the functions of libraries, archives and art galleries so that visitors' desire is satisfied. It reflects the contemporary trend of overcoming the limitations of the ancient paintings and satisfying the role and function of the art museum. From the opening of the Danwon Contents Hall, the original work of Kim Hong-do has been interpreted and produced as media contents or recreated as a new form of art by modern artists. Exhibition using technologies such as touch screen and 'deep zoom' helps visitors to heighten their experience of the archives and get inside the world of the genius painter.

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the idea of the ideal garden, pursued by Dasan, by analyzing the production process of his writing and the location of his dwelling, and the characteristics of the garden in the writings of Dasan (茶山) Jeong Yag-Yong (丁若鏞)'s "Jaehwangsangyuincheop (題黃裳幽人帖)" is concerned with his writings on an imaginary garden (意園). This paper assumed that "Jaehwangsangyuincheop" served as a blueprint for his ideal dwelling. The main research subjects are the external scenes described in the "Jaehwangsangyuincheop", and the garden elements and spatial construction that were visualized as a Korean Ink Painting (水墨畵) through the analysis of related works. The results are as follows. First, Hwang Sang was Dasan's favorite pupil, and "Jaehwangsangyuincheop" was written by Dasan while at Boeunsanbang in the winter of 1805 as an answer to a question that Hwang Sang posed about the residence of a hermit. By referring to this response, Hwang Sang established Ilsoksanbang (一粟山房) under Mt. Cheongae in Daegu-myeon, Gangjin. Secondly, the residence in "Jaehwangsangyuincheop" has mountains behind it and water in front of it (背山臨水). The residence was used as a place to combine life and leisure. It was an ideal residence that secluded the scholar(隱士). Thirdly, Dasan's ideal garden was shown as operation of natural geography in a residential location, practically using various plant materials, expanding physical boundaries of garden, pursuing synesthetic aesthetics while enjoying garden elements, and having an active experience of the taste for the arts in the extended garden. "Jaehwangsangyuincheop" depicted the life of a scholar with the taste of elegance (雅趣), who live in reclusiveness (隱逸), which was wanted by Dasan after exile. It was realized as Ilsoksanbang. "Jaehwangsangyuincheop" was interpreted as the ideal of a feasible dwelling that faithfully reflects Dasan's conceptual thoughts on the garden.

  • Imdaejeong Wonlim is located on the verge of Sangsa Village in Sapyeong-ri, Daepyeong-myeon, Hwasun-gun Gyeongsangnam-do toward Northwest. It was planned by Sa-ae, Minjuhyeon in 1862 on the basis of Gobanwon built by Nam Eongi in 16th century against the backdrop of Mt. Bongjeong and facing Sapyeong Stream. As water flows from west to east in the shape of crane, this area is a propitious site standing for prosperity and happiness. This area shows a distinct feature of Wonlim surrounding the Imdaejeong with multi layers as consisting of 5 districts - front yard where landmark stone with engraved letters of 'Janggujiso of Master Sa-ea' and junipers are harmoniously arranged, internal garden of upper pavilion ranging from a pavilion to square pond with a little island in the middle, Sugyeongwon of under pavilionu consisting of 2 ponds with a painting of three taoist hermits, forest of Mt. Bonggeong and external garden including Sapyeong Stream and farmland. According to documentation and the results of on-site investigation, it is certainly proved that Imdaejeong Wonlim was motivated by Byeoseo Wonlim which realized the idea of 'going back to hometown after resignation' following the motives of Janggujiso, a hideout aimed to accomplish the ideology, 'training mind and fostering innate nature,' on the peaceful site surrounded by water and mountain, as well as motives of Sesimcheo(洗心處) to be unified with morality of Mother Nature, etc. In addition, it implies various imaginary landscapes such as Pihangji, Eupcheongdang, square pond with an island and painting of three Taoist hermits based on a notion that 'the further scent flies away, the fresher it becomes,' which is originated from Aelyeonseol(愛蓮說). In terms of technique of natural landscape treatment, divers techniques are found in Imdaejeong Wonlim such as distant view of Mt. Bongjeong, pulling view with an intention of transparent beauty of moonlight, circle view of natural and cultural sceneries on every side, borrowed scenary of pastoral rural life adopted as an opposite view, looked view of Sulyundaero, over looked view of pond, static view in pavilion and paths, close view of water space such as stream and pond, mushroom-and-umbrella like view of Imdaejeong, vista of pond surrounded by willows, imaginary view of engraved letters meaning 'widen knowledge by studying objectives' and selected view to comprise sunrise and sunset at the same time. In the beginning of construction, various plants seemed to be planted, albeit different from now, such as Ginkgo biloba, Phyllostachys spp., Salix spp., Pinus densiflora, Abies holophylla, Morus bombycis, Juglans mandschurica, Paulownia coreana, Prunus mume, Nelumbo nucifera, etc. Generally, it reflected dignity of Confucianism or beared aspect of semantic landscape implying Taoist taste and idea of Phoenix wishing a prosperity in the future. Furthermore, a diversity of planting methods were pursued for such as liner planting for the periphery of pond, bosquet planting and circle planting adopted around the pavilion, spot planting using green trees, solitary planting of monumentally planted Paulownia coreana and opposite planting presenting the Abies holophylla into yin and yang.
