  • It is important to investigate the relationship between weld process parameters and weld bead geometry for adaptive arc robot welding. Howeve, it is difficult to predict an exact back-bead owing to gap in process of butt welding. In this paper, the quantitative prediction system to specify the relationship external weld conditions and weld bead geometry was developed to get suitable back-bead in butt welding which is widely applied on industrial field. Multiple regression analysis for the prediction of process parameters was used as the research method. And, the results of the prediction method were compared and analyzed.

  • State feedback with integral control for a variable air volume(VAV) unit which is recently taken notice of for the energy efficiency and saving in the building is studied to investigate the performance of the digital control methodology for the possible practical application. The digital controller which acquires the targat zone temperature and the air flow rate of the supplied air to the zone controls the opening of the damper in the VAV unit. Simulation results are performed for the conditions including reference changes and external thermal variations. In the simulation. simplified conditioned zone and the damper actuator modelling is considered. and relationships between controller gain Parameters and the system dynamics are investigated.

  • Non-intrusive methods based on active remote IR illumination fur eye tracking is important for many applications of vision-based man-machine interaction. One problem that has plagued those methods is their sensitivity to lighting condition change. This tends to significantly limit their scope of application. In this paper, we present a new real-time eye detection and tracking methodology that works under variable and realistic lighting conditions. Based on combining the bright-pupil effect resulted from IR light and the conventional appearance-based object recognition technique, our method can robustly track eyes when the pupils are not very bright due to significant external illumination interferences. The appearance model is incorporated in both eyes detection and tracking via the use of support vector machine and the mean shift tracking. Additional improvement is achieved from modifying the image acquisition apparatus including the illuminator and the camera.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the external educational environments that small business persons had faced as well as the internal competences of Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA), and provide with the directions establishing the small business college. To do so, the study employed PEST analysis and 7S model. As the results of this study, it was quite suggestive that standardization of curriculum and educational facility, qualifications of professional teacher, and rating system and specialization of the college should be considered in order to establish the effective small business college.

  • The library as a social agency must study and evaluate its effectiveness and seek to improve its service for achieving the external objectives for which it was created. The study is an attempt to define the determining factors involved in change in library service. Library service evolves as a consequence of social need, which comprises unconventional demands of emerging areas in the subject ratio of literature, change in methods of research, change in the educational level of the community, and change in the user behavior. Since the library is an agency of communication, growth and specialization of information, and increase in variety of information media have effects on library service. The library is one of the many communication agencies in society, and increase or decrease in their programs can be determining factors of change in library service. Today, libraries depend more and more upon interlibrary cooperation to allow them to overcome their limitation in resources and time, and they can bring about changes in their service by adjusting themselves to the interlibrary cooperation arrangements available. Finally, library service is rendered as a result of theorizing as to what the library might or should do, and naturally theories or change in them may be determining factors of library service.

  • It is important that SMEs build business ecosystems on the open innovation for sustainable innovation. And, many Korea companies have tried to adopt new ideas from external collaborators and transfer their technologies to others based un the open innovation. But SMEs hard to progress it than middle & large companies. So, our research purpose is to find success factors of open innovation in regional SMEs.

  • The present work was aimed to examine the variation of microstructure and mechanical properties by annealing($100{\sim}620^{\circ}C$, $2{\sim}8hr$) in A3003 Al alloy welded pipes. The A3003 Al alloy pipes with 34 mm in external diameter and 1.3 mm in thickness were manufactured by high frequency induction welding with the V shaped convergence angle $6.7^{\circ}$ and power input 50 kW. The tensile and yield strength decreased with increasing the annealing temperature remarkably, but elongation increased remarkably. Vickers hardness in welds decreased with increasing the annealing temperature remarkably. The primary intermetallic compound of $Al_{12}(Fe,\;Mn)_2Si$ was precipitated in welds as the same base metal. In a certain experimental condition, the welds line in A3003 alloys disappeared at $450^{\circ}C$ for 2 hr because of the same mechanical property and structure between welds and base metal.

  • A process known as the MR and EMR combination process is able to overcome the shortcomings of the MR (metallothermic reduction) and EMR (electronically mediated reaction) process. The effects of $K_2TaF_7$ as the raw material, sodium as the reducing agent and KCl/KF as the diluent on the characteristics of tantalum powder are investigated. In this study, a MR-EMR combination process has been employed to tantalum powder on the location of reductant. The excess of reductant were varied from 25, 50 to 75 wt%. The total charge and external circuit decreases as the amount of reductant increases. The average particle size increases with increasing the amount of reductant.

  • In this paper, the impact of energy constraints on a two-hop network with a source, a relay and a destination under random medium access is studied. A collision channel with erasures is considered, and the source and the relay nodes have energy harvesting capabilities and an unlimited battery to store the harvested energy. Additionally, the source and the relay node have external traffic arrivals and the relay forwards a fraction of the source node's traffic to the destination; the cooperation is performed at the network level. An inner and an outer bound of the stability region for a given transmission probability vector are obtained. Then, the closure of the inner and the outer bound is obtained separately and they turn out to be identical. This work is not only a step in connecting information theory and networking, by studying the maximum stable throughput region metric but also it taps the relatively unexplored and important domain of energy harvesting and assesses the effect of that on this important measure.

  • In this paper, we analyzed by measuring the temperature and humidity inside of the Feed Bin, NV, EA, SA, $SA{\cdot}EA$, by applying the ventilation system offers an efficient management of the operating direction. In the period the target is not input and feed period to make a change in the Feed Bin within the temperature and humidity of the outdoor air temperature and relative humidity compared to accept the ventilation system. Internal temperature over a comparison of the external temperature and the relative humidity is $SA{\cdot}EA$, internal humidity can verify the efficiency and NV, SA ventilation applied.
