This paper reviews issues and methodological status of system dynamics and suggest some research agenda for its development in Korea. After reviewing some characteristics of system dynamics approach, including dynamic feedback perspective and endogenous point of view, the paper pointed out methodological characteristics of system dynamics. It seems to be the most notable characteristics of System Dynamics that it use both quantitative and qualitative approach in explaining and modelling reality. Besides, System Dynamicists rely more heavily on refutationism than instrumentalism and this allows System Dynamicists follow more strict way of scientific inquiry. For the development of System Dynamics in Korean academic circle, developing training program and curriculum, networking scattered System Dynamicist all over the country, would be the most important task.

Power plant efficiency and availability depend greatly on condenser performance. However, during commissioning of Yeonggwang #1/2 steam condenser sodium leakage occurred, because of tube to tubesheet only roll expanding. Therefore this report is explaining that pre-test for the shake of improvement reliable repair processes & selected sampling tube re-expansion in-situ applications.

This paper introduces a computer program ARAP, explaining how it automatically analyzes and evaluates academic research articles and books. It also shows how ARAP can help trace the trend of a certain theory by reviewing existing publications. As an illustration, ARAP is used to review Korean linguistic publications in order to show how Western semantic theories have influenced semantic studies in Korea.

This article investigates the software acquisition problems as two dimensional : custom/pacakage and insource /outsource. The analysis adopts the cost-benefit frame work in explaining software acquisition problems and takes two leveled approach. The first level examines the cost-benefit relationship of the determinants affecting both dimensions, and these determinants are derived from theories of transaction cost, incomplete contracting, and agency. The second level focuses on the impact of general cost-benefit frivers of the software acquisition decisions. The results facilitate a broader and more detailed understanding on the software acquisition problems.

The major purpose of this study was to find the influencing factors in explaining search patterns of product attributes in formation and to find if significant differences exist in search outcomes by search patterns. The data for this study were collected in a survey and the final sample consisted of 327 respondents purchased refrigerator 340 purchased bed. The important findings of this study are as follows: First the variables related to search cost-benefit play an important role in identifying search patterns for each of product attributers. The findings of this study provide some implications regarding consumer education programs and consumer information providing policies.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of two variable groups(socio-demographic factors and psychological factors) on money management strategies and financial satisfaction. The major findings of this study are as follows : Household income, level of education of wives, and locus of control had significant effect on the level of financial satisfaction. After the effect of socio - demographic variables and psychological variables was controlled, Especially evaluating strategy was found to be the most powerful variable in explaining financial satisfaction.

The purpose of this study is to identify environmental perception of clothing consumption behavior taking socioo-economic variables into account. An instrument, based on previous research was administered to 213 housewives in Taegu area. In analyzing the data, factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA, regression analysis were used. The finding of this indicated that the environmental perception of clothing consumption were significant in purchasing, managing, and disposal of clothing. Among socio-economics variables, income and educational level were found to be significant in explaining the variance of enviromental perception behavior of clothing consumption. The important results of this study are discussed and implications are provided.

The study investigates the stock market using emotion index calculated from SMD based on investors' emotion. In the VAR anlaysis, we find that the correlation between the KOSPI200 return and emotion score sum is highest in 2- or 3- day lag. This study concludes that explanatory power of the SMD emotion index is limited in explaining the Korean stock market yet.

Some Algol-type interacting binary stars exhibit strange photometric variations that can be phase-dependent and/or secular. This paper discusses the possibility of explaining these observed variations as resulting from an accretion structure eclipsing one or both of the stars. Some previous studies are reviewed and suggestions for future work are made, including the prospective of incorporating data from the Kepler Observatory.

In this study, an investigation on the geometry control of the precast segmental method(PSM) was performed and GEOCON was developed. It is an interactive software to control the 3-dimensional geometry of precast segmental bridges during the construction progress. Specially, this paper emphasized that the fabrication stage of the precast segment is the most important for the geometry control in the PSM and also descussed about some problems which can be overlooked in developing and using the geometry control softwares by explaining the GEOCON's characteristics. GEOCON was successfully applied to the surrounding road of Pusan harbor.
