This paper presents an efficient short-term generation scheduling method using a rule-based expert/consulting system approach to assist electric energy system operators and planners. The expert system approach is applied to improve the Dynamic Programming(DP) based generation scheduling algorithm. In the selection procedure of the feasible combinations of generating units at each stage, automatic consulting on the manipulation of several constraints such as the minimum up time, the minimum down time and the maximum running time constraints of generating units will be performed by the expert/consulting system. In order to maximize the solution feasibility, the aforementioned constraints are controlled by a rule-based expert system, that is, instead of imposing penalty cost to those constraint violated combinations, which sometimes may become the very reason of no existing solution, several constraints will be manipulated within their flexibilities using the rules and facts that are established by domain experts. In this paper, for the purpose of implementing the consulting of several constraints during the dynamic process of generation scheduling, an expert system named STGSCS is developed. As a building tool of the expert system, C Language Integrated Production System(CLIPS) is used. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm has been demonstrated by applying it to a model electric energy system.

To revitalize rural economy and to generate job opportunities in the Korean countryside through the specialized production of high-valued/environment-friendly farm products and the active promotion of green tourism in the farmland-remodelling project sites in 4 main riverside areas, this study developed the regionally differentiated development models of future-oriented agri-business complex. Through two rounds' expert group consulting/checking, related literatures review and similar case-projects benchmarking, a tentative model system was made and corrected, and finally, 6-development types with 24 model complexes proposed.

The statistical survey and analysis is much restricted to time, space and material. The statistical survey and analysis could hardly resume. With the proliferation of WWW, providing more intelligence to Web sites has become a major concern in e-business industry. In recent days, this trend is more accelerated by prosperity of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) in terms of various aspects such as product recommendation, self after service, etc. To accomplish this goal, many e-companies are eager to embed web enabled rule-based system, that is, expert systems into their Web sites and several well-known commercial tools are already available in the market. Most of those tools are developed based on CGI so far but CGI based systems inherently suffer over-burden problem when there are too many service demands at the same time due to the nature of CGI. To overcome this limitation of the existing CGI based expert systems, we propose a new form of Web-enabled expert system using hyperlink-based inference mechanism. In terms of burden to Web server, our approach is proven to outperform CGI based approach theoretically and also empirically. For practical purpose, our this approach is implemented in a software system, WeBIS and a graphic rule editing methodology, Expert Diagram is incorporated into the system to facilitates rule generation and maintenance. WeBIS is now successfully operated for financial consulting in the web site of a leading financial consulting company in Korea.

There has been a defect dispute of apartment building in Korea. The defect dispute is complicated by main issues and details of dispute. It is yet to be solved. Meanwhile, a judge does not a inspection and analysis, but, related field expert who contracted professional engineer does. As a result, defect consulting report that an important judgment is used in a defect dispute. Therefore, this study does research on structure of defect consulting report. A defect consulting report has same items, irrespective of a defect consultant as a result that check 7 indexes about 10 cases. It has different structure's details depending on each defect consultants. And, it inserts new detail or deletes existing detail, does not show clear distinction.

Foresight, a major methodological tool in the STI policy toolbox, has recently featured new directions in methodological development, becoming influenced by progress in information and communication technologies and online tools. However, no overview of these directions has been available so far. Based on a literature review, an interactive workshop, and an international expert survey as well as expert interviews, the research presented here attempts to shed light onto some of the relevant issues by providing a structured overview of recent changes in order to further the debate on the future directions of methodological development in foresight. The paper outlines four clusters of emerging approaches in foresight:Integrated qualitative and quantitative approaches, IT-based and automated foresight, experiential foresight including new forms of communication and interaction such as visualization and gaming, and open and crowd-sourced approaches. The benefits and challenges of the approaches known so far are categorized and summarized, and areas of potential use for each of the clusters in STI contexts are identified.

A prototype expert system for normal concrete mix design was developed using an technical consulting system development tool, EXSYS Professional. The knowledge contained in the system was obtained from the standard specifications of Korea Concrete Institute, American Concrete Institute and from the related British Standards. The knowledge base and user interface will be expanded to cover wider scopes of the problems. If the system is successfully developed as an operational system, it will produce a great deal of economic benefits by reducing the time and money needed to obtain an expert's judgement and experience in decision making for repetitive tasks related to concrete mix proportions.

The characteristics of preliminary founders has taken a part in deciding the structural elements of Franchise headquarters in the food service industry. Thus this study tries to show how preliminary founders have an impact on structural elements in franchise headquarters through demonstrative research on intention of contracting by characteristics of preliminary members. The result shows that the experience factor of a preliminary owner has significant relationships with the structural elements of headquarters. It was analyzed that the structural elements of franchise headquarters such as expert consulting, training support and use of sales guide influence contract intention. The characteristics of the preliminary founders have a major impact on investment, financing, expert consulting, educational support, and untilization of business guideline. The structural elements have a major impact on contract intention.

Through this technology development, companies that operate online shopping malls and prospective startups will support education, consulting and expert group matching so that they can solve various issues that may arise in the course of the entire business life cycle, from startups to closures. It is expected that differentiated consulting programs will be designed for companies that currently operate shopping malls and start ups, and customized consulting programs will be provided to improve the effectiveness of consulting while improving customer satisfaction. It is planning to develop a "successful start-up and operation helper" that helps successful start-ups. It is a system that primarily diagnoses problems of prospective entrepreneurs and operators through an automation system at the start-up and operation stage, and professional consultants participate to derive and solve problems, and takes care of all stages of shopping mall birth and growth. In this paper Metaverse based shopping mall Creation is also discussed. Through Big Data creation these accumulated data, we intend to help operators start and operate shopping malls through accurate information by managing all knowledge of shopping malls as a system in the long run.

There has been a lot of interest in flipped learning, but lacked practical research to support the faculty developing flipped learning courses in higher education institutions. The purpose of this study is to develop a consulting model for developing a flipped learning course that can be practically used by institutions such as center for teaching and learning that support faculty teaching to improve the quality of instruction. A 'Coaching based on flip learning course development consulting model' was derived through literature review and expert feedback. The 8-step model is as follows: 1) survey of class development, 2) course orientation, 3) flipped learning, 4) expert class analysis, 5) flipped learning coaching, 6) flipped learning operation, 7) instructor reflection, and 8) feedback and revision. Based on the results of this study, it is possible to provide professional and practical guide systematically, and also help to improve quality of lesson.
