고효율 모터 선정을 위한 전문가 시스템 (Expert System for Selection of Motor with High Efficiency)

  • This paper describes the development of a software that has the man expert knowledge, experience and inference. This software is helpful for selecting the motors and driving systems which are best fit for the applications. Developed software can automatically select the most reasonable motor driving systems, only if a semi-skilled engineer inputs the performance criteria for the applications and mechanical data. Expert system inference engine and knowledge-base are implemented by C programming language. Data-base was implemented from manufacturer's catalogues for DC motors and brushless DC motors. Efficiencies of the various motor driving systems are compared reference on the average efficiency depends on the operating profiles. Developed expert system was tested in various of applications to verify the reliability, quick and easy selecting of the motor driving systems.

  • The CAD/CAM System for deep drawing transfer die tin mechanical press process has been developed. The developed CAD system can generate the drawing of transfer die in mechanical press. Using thee results from CAD system, it can generate the NC data to machine die's elements on the CAD system. This system can reduce design man-hour an human errors. In order to construct the system, it is used to automated the design process and generate the NC data using concepts of the designing rule and the machining rule. The developed system is based on the knowledge base system which is involved a lot of expert's technology in the practice field. Using AutoLISP language under the AutoCAD system, CTK customer language of SmartCAM is used as the overall CAD/CAM environment. Results of this system will be provide effective aids to the designer and manufacturer in this field.

  • The task for chromosome analysis and diagnosis by experienced cytogenetists are being concerned as repetitive, time consuming job and expensive. FOr that reason, chromosome analysis system based on knowledge base for CAI had been established to be able to analyze chromosomes and obtain necessary advises from the knowledge base instead of human experts. That s to say, knowledge base by IF THEN production rule was implemented to a knowledge domain with normal and abnormal chromosomes, and then the inference results by knowledge base could enter the inference data into the database. Experimental data were composed of normal chromosome of 2,736 patients'cases and abnormal chromosomes of 259 patients'cases that have been obtained from GTG-banding metaphase peripheral blood and amniotic fluid samples. The complete system provides variously morphological information by analysis of normal or abnormal chromosomes and it also has the advantage of being able to consult with user on chromosome analysis and diagnosis.

  • An expert system is developed for rational and efficient design of multi-component injection molding which is a fairly new manufacturing technique to produce plastic parts by injecting two or more materials sequentially using multiple injection units in a single machine into a single rotary mold. The knowledge base used in the present design system is primarily composed of two parts ; knowledge from domain expert and knowledge from CAE analysis. The present expert system has hour main modules ; general design guidelines for injection molding specific guidelines for multi-component injection molding redesign guidelines from the result of the CAE analysis and finally troubleshooting for multi-component injection molding. To show the validity of the present design methodology two shop floor design problems were tested ; design and fabrication of timing belt cover and power window's assist knob by using multi-component injection molding.

  • The wide spread of internet business recently necessitates recommendation systems which can recommend the most suitable product fur customer demands. Currently the recommendation systems use content-based filtering and/or collaborative filtering methods, which are unable both to explain the reason for the recommendation and to reflect constantly changing requirements of the users. These methods guarantee good efficiency only if there is a lot of information about users. This paper proposes an algorithm called 'demand articulate & integration' which can perceive user's continuously varying intents and recommend proper contents. A method of knowledge classification which can be applicable to this algorithm is also developed in order to disassemble knowledge into basic units and articulate indices. The algorithm provides recommendation outputs that are close to expert's opinion through the tracing of articulate index. As a case study, a knowledge base for heritage information is constructed with the expert guide's knowledge. An intelligent recommendation system that can guide heritage tour as good as the expert guider is developed.

  • Intelligent Tutoring System(ITS)이 다양한 학습자 변인을 고려한 개별화된 학습 환경을 제공하여 영역 전문가를 대신할 효율적인 대안으로 인식되어짐에 따라, Learning Companion System(LCS)에 대한 연구도 긍정적으로 검토되어지고 있다. 하지만 LCS에서의 원활한 상호작용을 위해서는 동일한 역할을 하는 복수 LC의 결합이 필요하고, 이는 개별적 지식베이스의 확보를 선행 조건으로 요구한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 인지구조의 연결주의적 관점을 근거로, 지식베이스 자체의 자기 학습(self learning)이 가능하고, 지식베이스 객체의 소유자에 의해 적응적으로 성장 가능한 지식베이스 객체 모형을 설계하고, 이를 검증하였다. 이 지식베이스 객체 모형은 개별적 지식베이스의 구축을 가능하게 하여, 지식베이스 객체를 이용한 적응적 ITS 개발의 기회를 제공한다.

  • This paper proposes IIKBAG(Intelligent Interlocking Knowledge Base Generator) which can build automatically the interlocking knowledge base utilized as the real-time interlocking strategy of the electronic interlocking system in order to enhance it's reliability and expansion. The IIKBAG consists of the inference engine and the knowledge base. The former has an auto-learning function which searches all the train routes for the given station model based on heuristic search technique while dynamically searching the model, and then generates automatically the interlocking patterns obtained from the interlocking relations of signal facilities on the routes. The latter is designed as the structure which the real-time expert system embedded on IS(Interlocking System) can use directly in order to enhances the reliability and accuracy. The IIKBAG is implemented in C computer language for the purpose of the build and interface of the station structure database. And, a typical station model is simulated to prove the validity of the proposed IIKBAG.

  • This paper proposes an expert system with the knowledge learning capability which can enhance the safety and effectiveness of substation operation in the automated substation as well as existing substation by inferring multiple events such as main transformer fault, busbar fault and main transformer work schedule under multiple inference mode and multiple objective mode and by considering totally the switch status and the main transformer operating constraints. Especially inference mode includes the local minimum tree search method and pattern recognition method to enhance the performance of real-time bus reconfiguration strategy. The inference engine of the expert system consists of intuitive inferencing part and logical inferencing part. The intuitive inferencing part offers the control strategy corresponding to the event which is most similar to the real event by searching based on a minimum distance classification method of pattern recognition methods. On the other hand, logical inferencing part makes real-time control strategy using real-time mode(best-first search method) when the intuitive inferencing is failed. Also, it builds up a knowledge base or appends a new knowledge to the knowledge base using pattern learning function. The expert system has main transformer fault, main transformer maintenance work and bus fault processing function. It is implemented as computer language, Visual C++ which has a dynamic programming function for implementing of inference engine and a MFC function for implementing of MMI. Finally, it's accuracy and effectiveness is proved by several event simulation works for a typical substation.

사례기반 추론을 이용한 위성 고장진단 전문가 시스템 구축 (A STUDY ON SATELLITE DIAGNOSTIC EXPERT SYSTEMS USING CASE-BASED APPROACH)

  • 위성의 수와 복잡도가 증가함에 따라서 다양한 고장이 생기는 경우를 예측하고 고장이 발생한 경우 이를 감지하여 신속히 감지하여 처리하는 노력의 필요성이 증가하게 된다. 현재는 위성 관제소의 전문요원들이 이러한 작업을 수행하고 있지만, 많은 부분이 일상적인 작업이므로 이러한 진단 작업을 자동화할 필요성이 있다. 즉, 일상적인 작업은 전문가시스템이 수행하고, 보다 복잡하고 고차원적인 문제는 전문요원이 해결하는 방식이 바람직하다. 이 논문에서는 이러한 노력의 일환으로 인공지능의 사례기반 방식을 도입한 위성 고장진단 전문가시스템을 구축하기 위한 방법론과 이에 따른 프로토타입 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 사례기반 시스템은 과거의 사례를 기억하고 있는 사례베이스를 구축하고 고장의 증상이 발생한 경우에 이러한 사례베이스로부터 가장 근사한 경우를 인덱스하여 처리하는 기능을 가지고 있다. 이 논문은 이러한 기능을 가지는 사례기반 시스템의 구조와 활용방안에 대해서 서술하고자 한다.

  • In order to implement Artificial Intelligence, various technologies have been widely used. Artificial Intelligence is applied for many industrial product and machine tools are the center of manufacturing devices in intelligent manufacturing system. The purpose of this paper is to present the construction of Rule Base for knowledge structure that is applicable to machine tools. This system is that decision whether to act in accordance with machine status is support system. It constructs Rule Base of knowledge used of machine toots. The constructed Rule Base facilitates the effective operation and control of machine tools and will provide a systematic way to integrate the expert's knowledge that will apply Intelligent Machine Tools.
