  • Selective laser sintering(SLS) is a solid freeform fabrication process whereby a part is built layerwise by scanning a powder bed. The properties of metal powder are dependent on the heat, it is not easy to do the exact error compensation with analysis and estimation by modeling. This paper suggests that the error is compensated by experimental method and then the accuracy of shape is enhanced by revising of STL file. Also bonding force is measured by an experiment with change of process path.

  • 환경 잡음은 음성인식 시스템의 성능을 떨어뜨릴 수 있다. 이 논문은 인식 시스템이 잡음에 강인하도록 만들기 위하여, 켑스트럼에 기초한 특징 보상을 수행하는 과정을 제시한다. 이 방법은 부가적인 잡음의 영향을 제거하기 위한 직접적인 스펙트럼 기울기 보상에 기초를 둔다. 잡음 보상 방법은 로그 전력 스펙트럼의 스펙트럼 기울기 계산에 의하여 캡스트럼 영역에서 동작한다. 스펙트럼 보상은 SNR에 의존하는 켑스트럼 평균 보상 방법과 함께 사용된다. 백색 가우스 잡음, 지하철 잡음 및 자동차 잡음에 있는 조건에서, 실험 결과는 제안한 보상 방법이 여러 SNR에서 인식률을 상당히 개선한다는 것을 보여준다.

  • In this paper, we propose the edge compensation algorithm which connects the adjacent edges without losing the information of the skeletons on the edge image. The proposed edge compensation algorithm is composed of succeeding two steps. In the first step, the uplifted image is obtained by applying the uplifting process to the edge image. The next step is to extract the edge image from the uplifted image using the skeleton extraction algorithm. Experimental results show that the proposed method connects the adjacent edges without the distortion of the original edge information compared to the traditional method

Feature Compensation Combining SNR-Dependent Feature Reconstruction and Class Histogram Equalization

  • In this letter, we propose a new histogram equalization technique for feature compensation in speech recognition under noisy environments. The proposed approach combines a signal-to-noise-ratio-dependent feature reconstruction method and the class histogram equalization technique to effectively reduce the acoustic mismatch present in noisy speech features. Experimental results from the Aurora 2 task confirm the superiority of the proposed approach for acoustic feature compensation.

  • This paper presents a new compensation method of series active power filter. The proposed method applied in the three-phase three-wire system can generate harmonic compensation voltage in front of the harmonic source. Futhermore it is also expended to three-phase four-wire system considering zero-sequence voltage. The compensation principle is described in detail. Experimental result show the validity of the proposed method in the three-phase three-wire system

  • This paper represents a disturbance compensation control for attenuating disturbance responses. In the consideration of the requirements on the model accuracy in the model based compensator designs, an experimental feed forward compensator design based on adaptive estimation by Filtered-x least mean square (FXLMS) algorithm is proposed. The convergence properties of the FXLMS algorithm are discussed and its conditions for the asymptotic convergence are derived theoretically. The effectiveness of the proposed method and the theoretical proof are verified by computer simulation.

  • The research of friction compensation control system seeks the accuracy, the velocity increase of the table, and the settling time reduction. The friction is the disturbance which has the greatest influence, but the past research of control system doesn´t perform exact modeling of the friction. So this research aims at the friction compensation control system, the exact modeling of the friction, comparison between the model simulation and experimental data, and the design of observer for the friction estimation.

  • A neural networks (NN) saturation compensation scheme for DC motor systems is presented. The scheme that leads to stability, command following and disturbance rejection is rigorously proved. On-line weights tuning law, the overall closed loop performance and the boundness of the NN weights are derived and guaranteed based on Lyapunov approach. The simulation and experimental results show that the proposed scheme effectively compensate for saturation nonlinearity in the presence of system uncertainty.

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze the business process in which Korea Land & Housing Corporation utilizes spatial DB of NSDI(National Spatial Data Infrastructure) for compensation service. By the analysis of spatial data connected with compensation service, the influence of the matching error among spatial data on the business process for the service is identified and it is required to draw a direction for improvement in it.

  • In this paper, a novel speed control strategy using an acceleration feedforward compensation by the estimation of the system inertia is proposed. With the proposed method, the enhanced speed control performance can be achieved and the speed response against the disturbance torque can be improved for the vector-controller induction motor drive systems in which the bandwidth of the speed controller cannot be made large enough. The experimental results confirm the validity of the proposed strategy.
