디지털 융복합 환경에서 WBI을 활용한 AT자격 프로그램 사용의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Influencing Usage Intention of AT Certification program using WBI in the Digital Convergence Environment)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 디지털 융복합 환경에서 WBI를 활용한 AT자격 프로그램의 만족도와 지속적 사용의도에 미치는 영향 변수를 기대일치, 유용성 기대, 프로그램 인터페이스로 확장하여 검증하고자 하는 것이다. 실증분석에 활용된 도구는 AMOS 21.0과 SPSS 21.0 프로그램이다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유용성기대 및 프로그램 인터페이스가 기대일치에 긍정적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며, 유용성기대가 프로그램 인터페이스보다 더 큰 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 기대일치는 만족도, 지속적 사용의도에 모두 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며 기대일치는 만족도보다 지속적 사용의도에 더 많은 영향력을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 만족도는 지속적 사용의도에 대해 긍정적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 가설에서 제시한 경로를 토대로 기대일치가 유용성기대와 프로그램 인터페이스에 따라 영향을 받으며, 만족도와 지속적 사용의도에도 중요한 요인이라는 증거를 제시하였다고 생각한다.

Exploring Self-image Congruity and Regret for IS Continuance based on the Expectation-Confirmation Model

  • In order to understand information system post-adoption phenomena, the expectation-confirmation model (ECM) was proposed. Past studies based on the ECM focus on a referent centered on the target IS being studied. The effect of this reference, captured through confirmation, has been strongly shown. However, the saliency of two additional reference effects, captured through self-image congruity and regret, has not been explored. In order to fill this knowledge gap, this paper attempts to develop a research model that extends the ECM by incorporating self-image congruity and regret as well as perceived enjoyment. For this extension, we synthesize the extant literature on continued IS use, self-image congruity, and regret. The analysis results tell us that self-image congruity plays a key role in forming two post-adoption beliefs, perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment. It is also found that the absolute effect of regret on continuance intention is larger than those of other antecedents identified in IS. Overall, this study preliminarily confirms the saliency of self-image congruity and regret in post-adoption phenomena. Our study results is likely to help the IS community systematically address unexplored effects of self-image congruity and regret.

공유경제 환경에서 차량 공유서비스 활용에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 : 중국의 디디추싱(滴滴出行) 사례 분석을 중심으로 (A Study on Factors Affecting the Utilization of Vehicle Sharing Service in the Sharing Economy Environment : Focusing on the Analysis of Didi Chuxing Case in China)

  • As vehicle sharing service is being widely used in China. The sharing economy appeared to be a way to make people's lives more convenient and to utilize limited resources efficiently. Sharing economy companies have created an app to satisfy users' needs with providing more benefits. Although research on vehicle sharing services has been continuously conducted at the level of the sharing economy, there are not many empirical studies related to the perception of the sharing economy from the consumer's point of view. In this sense, this study considered the perceived relationship benefits (social benefits, economic benefits, psychological benefits, and functional benefits) of Didi chuxing service as the key independent variables influencing users' confirmation and satisfaction, And suggests that users' confirmation and satisfaction are the key determinants of Didi continuance intention . To test the proposed research model, this study conducted structural equation model using 268 data collected on the users who have experience of Didi service. According to the empirical analysis results, This study verifies that: First, social benefits, economic benefits, psychological benefits, and functional benefits are determinants of user's satisfaction. Second, expectation confirmation depends on economic benefits, psychological benefits, functional benefits and social influence, meanwhile, social benefit has no effect on expectation confirmation. Third, expectation confirmation is proved to be a positive predictor of users' satisfaction. Finally, this results indicate that continuous use intention is determined by users' satisfaction.

  • Due to the rapid growth of social networking community (SNC), research into SNC user's behavior has recently emerged as an important issue in information systems. An individual makes a decision whether or not to continually use his or her own SNC and to purchase digital items to decorate it. Most previous research has focused on a user's continuance intention and has ignored the importance of purchase intention. This study develops and empirically tests an integrated model designed to predict a user's two types of behavioral intention:continuance intention and purchase intention based on the expectation-confirmation model (ECM) and a dual model of relationship maintenance mechanism.The results indicate that perceived usefulness, satisfaction, personalization, and switching cost have important influences on the formation of SNC continuance intention. The results also show that perceived usefulness and satisfaction does not have any significant impacts on purchase intention, while personalization, learning, attractiveness of alternatives, and continuance intention significantly affect it.

디지털콘텐츠 OTT서비스의 지속사용의도에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Factors Affecting the Continuous Intention to Use Digital Content Over-the-Top Service)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that influence the pre-use expectation and the continuous usage intention of the OTT services. Methods: For empirical analysis, the survey for this study was administered with many anonymous people who had previously used any of the OTT services and valid 192 data were analyzed by SPSS and PLS-SEM. Results: The results of this study are as follows. Personalization and understandability in the information quality didn't significantly affect confirmation. Ease of use and search of the system quality significantly affected confirmation. Also, it was found that content diversity, content recency, and content playfulness as the characteristics of the content quality significantly affected the expectation confirmation. OTT service fees also significantly affected the expectation confirmation. It also significantly affected perceived usefulness and satisfaction. Finally, satisfaction positively influenced the continuouse intention to use. Conclusion: The findings of this empirical analysis shows that the specific characteristics related to the relationship of expectation confirmation, perceived usefulness, satisfaction, and continuous usage intention with respect to OTT services through the Post Acceptance Model (PAM). Because system quality, content quality, and service fees meeted users' expectations, OTT services need a strategy that can boost the users' positive perceptions or experiences by reinforcing these three factors.

  • 한류는 국내에서 세계적인 현상으로 발전하고 시공간 제한이 없는 인터넷과 소셜 미디어로 국제화가 된다. 본 연구는 인도네시아에서 소셜미디어를 활용한 한류 홍보에 대한 지속적 사용의도를 알아보고자 하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기대확신모형을 적용하여 개인의 혁신적인 성향을 나타내는 자기효능감과 소셜미디어가 보여주는 속성인 지각된 유희성이 소셜미디어에 대한 지각된 유용성과 확신 그리고 만에 이은 이용의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위한 연구방법으로는 구조방정식을 활용하여 모형의 적합도와 연구가설을 검증하였다. 그 결과 지각된 유희성은 지각된 유용성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 자기효능감은 지각된 유용성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 확신은 지각된 유용성과 만족에 모두 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 지각된 유용성은 만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 마지막으로 만족은 지속적 이용의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

O2O 서비스 이용자의 동기가 기대충족과 만족을 통해 충성도에 미치는 영향 (An Effect of O2O Service Users' Motivation on Loyalty through Expectation-Confirmation and Satisfaction)

  • Purpose: O2O service are becoming popular in various industries such as food delivery and taxi. This research explores how users' motivation of O2O service influence customer loyalty through expectation-confirmation and satisfaction. this study attempts to explore the motivation factor (i.e. pricing, enjoyment, immediately, social influence) and to empirically examine the relationships between those and users' loyalty to O2O service. Methods: To test the proposed research model, a survey research methodology was used. Paper survey was distributed to O2O service users in Korea. A total of 198 data were used for the analysis. Structural equation modeling was used to test hypotheses. Results: According to our findings, this study found that satisfaction was positively influenced by users' motivation factors. all hypotheses about the effect of motivation on expectation-confirmation were statistically not significant. Conclusion: O2O service providers should consider the results of this study to satisfy users' expectations and satisfaction for building a better O2O market.

  • This study developed a conceptual model that integrated psychological and physical reactions resulting from online tourism reviews through a longitudinal trust-satisfaction model (LSTM) developed based on the extended valence framework and expectation-confirmation theory. Online reviews are essential factor of consumer's purchase decision. This phenomenon is well applied in a tourism context. However, investigations on online reviews in a longitudinal approach in a tourism context are quite limited. Therefore, this study suggests a conceptual model based on LTSM and several propositions about how online tourism reviews, which are divided into factual and experiential reviews, influence the future travelers' perceptions and attitudes, such as expectation, confirmation, and destination loyalty, in a longitudinal format by examining previous related studies. Finally, expected results were discussed and several implications were described theoretically and practically.

Understanding User's Continuous Use of Financial Technology Products

  • Online financial technology products are an important consumer finance innovation. While a large body of previous research has focused on initial adoption and consumer willingness to use these products, little research explores the continued use of these products beyond the initial adoption phase. In particular, special attention should be paid to how users' trust and perceptions of privacy and security affect continued use behavior. This paper integrates the expectation confirmation model of information system continuance (ECM-ISC), the information system success model (ISSM) and the security and trust literatures to investigate continued use of online financial technology. To test the research model, we collected 398 valid questionnaires from Ant Credit Pay users. The research results show that system and service quality positively impact users' expectation confirmation, while information quality has no significant impact. Expectation confirmation and perceived usefulness positively affect user satisfaction. Moreover, the user's perception of privacy and security plays a vital role in user satisfaction. Satisfaction and perceived trust jointly promote users' continuance behaviors. Findings of this study indicates the importance of the information system success factors and security factors due to their influence on the continued use of Fintech products. This conclusion has implications for enterprises in improving the product qualities and enhancing the degree of security to meet user needs.

사용자 신뢰와 의인화가 ChatGPT의 지속적인 사용 의도에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of User Trust and Anthropomorphism on the Continuance Intention to Use ChatGPT)

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to empirically investigate the factors that influence users' continuous intention to use ChatGPT based on the Expectation Confirmation Model(ECM). Drawing from the literature, this study identifies anthropomorphism and trust as key characteristics of generative AI and ChatGPT. Design/methodology/approach The research model was developed based on ECM and literature research to investigate the impacts of anthropomorphism and trust on continuous intention of using ChatGPT. In order to test the hypothese, a total of 193 questionnaires were collected and analyzed for the structural equation modeling with SmartPLS 4.0. Findings The study's findings show that all proposed hypotheses were supported, suggesting that the ECM is a valid framework for examining continuous intention of using ChatGPT. Moreover, the study stressed the crucial role of anthropomorphism in the model, showing the positive impact on expectation confirmation, perceived usefulness, and trust in ChatGPT. Also, trust positively affects perceived usefulness. These findings provide valuable insights for enhancing user satisfaction and continuous usage intention, serving as a foundation for development strategies for ChatGPT and similar AI-based systems.
