인공지능 대화형 에이전트의 지능적 속성에 대한 기대와 기대 격차 (Expectation and Expectation Gap towards intelligent properties of AI-based Conversational Agent)

  • 본 연구에서는 인공지능 대화형 에이전트인 스마트 스피커의 지능형 에이전트로서의 속성, 즉 자율성, 사회성, 반응성, 능동성, 시간연속성, 목표지향성에 대하여 이용자들이 일상적 상호작용을 통하여 어떤 기대를 가지는지, 또한 어떤 기대격차를 갖는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 스마트 스피커 이용자들을 대상으로 반구조화 인터뷰(semi-structured interview)를 진행하고 그라운드 이론에 기반하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과 사람들은 기술수준의 한계로 인해 스마트 스피커의 사회성이나 인간다움에 대해 큰 기대격차를 갖고 있었다. 스마트 스피커의 반응성에 대해서는 긍정적인 기대격차를 갖는 것으로 드러났고, 시간연속적으로 정보를 기억하는 것에 대해서는 정보의 민감성 정도나 제시방식에 따라 양가적 기대격차가 나타났다. 자율적인 추천에 대해서는 낮은 기대수준이 나타났고 능동적인 말걸기에 대해서는 맥락에 맞는 경우에만 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 스마트 스피커와 상호작용하는 방식을 설계하고 기대 수준을 관리하는데 있어서 함의점을 제시한다.

Audit Expectation Gap: Empirical Evidence from Vietnam

  • The paper examines the characteristics and causes of the expectation gap of audit and assurance services. The paper has conducted three surveys with three target groups. In the first survey, participants are auditors, users of audit reports are subject in the second survey and in the third survey, and students major in auditing are selected. The content of the survey aims to find out the differences in perception of the survey participants on two issues: (i) responsibilities of auditors for detection frauds, errors, protection of the enterprise's assets and financial scandals, and (ii) the role of audit and auditors in making investment decisions and investor's belief. The research carried out survey from March to September 2019 with 165 responds. The collected data was processed by statistical software SPSS, version 23, and Mann-Whitney U test was used to analyze the results of the audit expectation gap between the auditor group and the users of audit report group and between the student group and users of audit report group. The results showed that there exists an expectation gap in the responsibility of auditors for detection of all frauds, errors and protection enterprise's assets. Recommendations include strengthening audit standards, penalizing bad practices and ensuring auditor's independence.

프랜차이즈 가맹점의 계약전 기대와 운영후 지각된 성과의 업종별 차이분석 (A Comparative Study on Differences between Expectation before Contracting and Perceived Performance after Operation of Relationship Orientation among Franchise Industry Types)

  • 프랜차이즈 가맹점의 계약 전 기대와 운영 후 지각된 성과에 대한 부정적 차이인식(gap)의 정도가 커지면 분쟁의 원인으로 발전할 수 있는데, 이는 근본적으로 가맹본부가 신규 가맹점 모집에 급급한 나머지 계약전 기대를 너무 높게 만들어 운영 후 지각된 성과와의 부정적 차이인식(gap)이 커지면서 발생하는 경우가 높다고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 가맹본부의 관계지향성에 대한 가맹점의 계약 전 기대와 운영 후 지각된 성과의 차이인식(gap)을 통해 가맹본부의 관계지향성에 대한 가맹점의 만족도를 간접적으로 측정하고, 관계지향성에 대한 차이인식(gap)이 프랜차이즈 업종별로 어떻게 다르게 나타나는지 알아보고자 한다. 본 연구의 실증분석 결과, 관계지향성에 대한 차이인식(gap) 평균이 모두 음(-)으로 나타난 것은 운영 후 지각된 성가가 계약 전 기대보다 낮다는 것을 의미하는 것으로, 가맹점 계약 전 기대관리의 필요성과 함께 프랜차이즈 업종별로 관계지향에 대한 차이인식(gap)이 다르게 나타났다는 것을 밝혔다는 데에서 그 의의를 찾을 수 있다. 이런 점들로 볼 때, 프랜차이즈는 가맹본부와 가맹점 간의 계약관계에 의해서 유지되는 시스템으로 지속적인 관계를 유지하기 위해서는 많은 노력과 함께 기대관리가 필요하다.

Students' Perceptions and Expectation Gap on the Skills and Knowledge of Accounting Graduates

  • This study aims to describe the perceptions of accounting students and expectations of employers towards the skills and knowledge needed by accounting graduates in Indonesia. Quantitative method using survey is employed to analyze 103 questionnaires from students and 51 questionnaires from employers. The results showed that students' perceived honesty, continuous learning, and work ethics are important skills, while employers stress the importance of work ethics, teamwork, and time management. Knowledge needed by accounting graduates in the perception of students includes financial accounting, financial reporting, and financial statement analysis, whereas employers perceived the importance of financial statement analysis, knowledge of Microsoft Office program, and financial accounting. Further analysis showed that there is an expectation gap between the perceptions of students and the expectations of employers towards skills - not knowledge - needed by accounting graduates. Although investigations of students' perceptions and employers' expectations have been conducted in previous studies, the information should be updated continuously to reflect the current conditions. This study offers the recent perceptions from students and employers to identify the current expectation gap. This study points to the importance of skills development in the university curriculum in order to develop the skillful human resources in accounting and meet the expectations of employers.

A Study on Comparison of Excellence Among of P-Model, E-Model, and GAP-Model

  • The disconfirmation paradigm is the earliest researched and the most deeply researched of all the paradigms in marketing. Disconfirmation paradigm deals with the influence of expectation, perceived product performance, and the discord between the two on consumer satisfaction. The GAP-Model is based on the disconfirmation paradigm that tries to understand the effect of the gap between before purchase expectations and after purchase perceptions of the product performance on dependent variables such as customer satisfaction. The purpose of this research is to test whether regression coefficients of a P-Model(performance only model), an E-Model(expectation only model) and GAP(P-E)-Model are equivalent in explaining service value and loyalty. The Chow's F-Test is used to test the excellence of the 3 models. As a result of comparison and analysis, P-Model showed more excellence of service value and loyalty than E-Model or GAP-Model.

종합병원의 내부마케팅 활동에 대한 간호사의 기대-지각간 차이 분석 (An analysis of the Gap between Expectations and Perceptions of Internal Marketing Activities in General Hospitals from a Nurse's Viewpoint)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to analyze the gap between the nurse's expectation and perception of internal marketing activities. Methods: The participants of this study were 521 nurses working in four general hospitals. The data were collected by self-reporting questionnaires. They were analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired-t test. Results: First, the mean of the nurse's expectation of internal marketing activities was 3.83, and perception was 2.54, showing a significant difference. Second, in all of the five subcategories of internal marketing activities, there were also statistically significant differences. Regarding the vacation system, the expectation score was highest, and support of academic education programs in education and training, payed-leaves during vacation, discounting of medical fees in employee welfare, distress management and two-way intercommunication, and allowances in reward were followed. Conclusion: These results will be used to develop focused internal marketing strategies to enhance the nurses' motivation.

Components Constituting the Audit Expectation Gap: The Vietnamese Case

  • The present study seeks to investigate the degree of awareness that constitutes the audit gap expectations (AEG) to determine which audit responsibilities can be narrowed or even eliminated. The author had surveyed a sample comprising four groups including auditors, auditees, the financial community, and other interest groups. In this survey, 1400 questionnaires were sent to the respondents, and the total number of responses was 454. The collected data was processed using statistical software SPSS, version 22. The Chi-Square test was used to analyze the effect of professional differences on AEG. The results of this study indicate that AEG cannot be eliminated due to the occupational impact of each survey group (about 46%), but it can be narrowed down to 54%, including a reduction of 11% in the knowledge gap (lack of public knowledge), 13% in the reasonable expectations gap (unqualified audit quality), 30% in the deficient standards gap (limited auditing standards). These results could be attained by improving training, communicating, and adding more responsibilities. This is the first study that provides another method of measuring the contribution of the knowledge gap through professional differences and professional gaps that make up each of the AEG's components.

국회의 사회통합기능과 국민의 신뢰: 국회에 대한 기대와 현실의 괴리 (National Assembly as a Representative Institution and Public Trust: Gap between Expectation and Reality)

  • 한국 국회에 대한 낮은 국민신뢰도는 대화와 타협을 중시하는 의회의 구조적 특성에 기인한 독특한 의사결정과정에 일정부분 기인하고 있다는 점은 부인하기 어렵다. 그러나 이보다 더 중요한 요인은 한국의 유권자들이 전반적인 정치상황에 대해 부정적인 인식을 갖고 있고, 높은 정치적 효능감과 정치적 관심에 따른 기대수준을 한국의 국회가 제대로 충족시키지 못하고 있다는 점이다. 특히, 다른 민주주의 국가들과 비교해서 한국 유권자들이 보이는 높은 정치적 효능감과 정치적 관심은 의회와 민주주의에 대해 매우 긍정적인 평가로 연결되며, 이는 현실 정치체제에 대한 높은 기대치로 이어지고 있다. 문제는 높은 정치적 기대치가 현실의 상황에서 충족되지 못할 때 역시 높은 실망감으로 이어지기 쉽다는 점이며, 한국 국회에서 빈번히 관찰되는 파행적인 모습들이 국민들의 국회에 대한 실망감을 낳게 하는 요인이 되고 국회에 대한 낮은 국민신뢰도도 이의 연장선상에서 이해될 수 있다.

간호서비스 질에 대한 소비자와 제공자의 지각차이에 관한 분석 (A Study of the Perception Gap on Nursing Service between Consumers and Providers)

  • this study was to investigate the perception gap on nursing service between consumers and providers. Method: the questionnaire founded on the SERVQUAL was developed and distributed to 300 patients and 210 nurses at the three subjected general hospitals in three provincial city, Korea during February to March, 2001. For data analysis, Cronbachs' Alpha, frequency, t-test, and paired t-test were used. Result: 1. In the gap analysis on the 20 properties constituting nursing service, providers almost all perceived higher than consumer in quality. Among them, the number of properties being statistically significant was 7 in the expectation, 18 in the important and 7 in the performance. 2. In the comparison analysis of the perception gap on the expectation-performance and the important-performance, it turned out that the subjected hospitals had to improve their equipment and facilities immediately. It was suggested a good strategy to strengthen the responsiveness factor and the assurance factor of nursing service. Conclusion: it could be concluded that nurses have to recognize the blind spot of their perception and endeavor to take away the perception gap between consumers and providers.

  • Objectives : The study explored perceptional gap of dentists and their employees between expectation and satisfaction. Methods : For analysis, the study surveyed 407 employees and 91 dentists on their expectation and satisfaction depending on expectation. Results : When the satisfaction on a question was lower than expectation; the rate of sufficiency was below 100%, it is necessary to improve on the question. Contrarily when the satisfaction on a question was higher than expectation; the rate of sufficiency was upper 100%, it is necessary to continuously support the question. The most of satisfaction of employees on their dentists and their organization were lower than employees's expectation of those. The most of satisfaction of dentists on their own and employees were lower than dentists's expectation of those as similar as employees cases, It means that all of questions need to improve continuously. Conclusions : The issues for prior decision to change these phenomena are 1) improvement of communication each other, 2) recovery of credence each other, and 3) leadership style change from authoritarian to consideration.
