Recently, the expansion of underground shopping street has a tendency to make a large maze in urban underground space. As the passers -by in underground streets have little information about these spaces, there can be a great danger at fire. From this point of view, this study aims at offering the basic data which needs to make a reasonable planning of escape facilities of underground shopping street. Therefore, safe performance evaluation program is developed for evaluating inhabitants' safety at each model. This program is composed of systematic equations which generalize each phenomenon at fire.

In this study, we performed the long-term expansion planning for the conceptual design of HTS power cable in Seoul area. In Korea, underground power cable has been required gradually with increasing demand of electric power transmission density and low loss characteristics in the comparison with a conventional power cables, so we assumed that the HTS power cable is applied between the downtown area and the outskirts of the city for the large power transmission capacity. This paper is to show the effects of HTS power cables in Seoul based on the power system analysis.

As the speed and extent of the expansion of the retro culture continue to expand, interest in industrial values related to it as well as a cultural phenomenon is also increasing. Under these circumstances it is meaningful that the planning of movies using cultural memory can increase the possibility of continuous development of retro contents. In this article, I will look at the possibilities of retro film using cultural memory and the memory industry. The purpose of this research is to find creative and sustainable content production methods.

The expansion of demand associated with leisure, which has resulted from the elevated standard of living, has made the domestic tourist demand diversified. Recently, people, especially urban population, show the higher interest and need for environmentally friendly rural tourism. This study aims to grasp the utilization of recreation roles of tourist farms and then to evaluate the economic value for recreation roles of tourist farm using Traveling Cost Method. Data were collected from a survey in 2003. The results show that its value is 62,037 won per head annually and so the tourist farms play their role of connecting the urban population with rural amenity.

The objectives of this study are to analyze the railway traffic conditions of Korea, China and Japan, and to appropriate the railway network planning for international logistics in Northeast Asia. Korea is located geographically on the main trunk route in Northeast Asia. Considering the geographical advantage and the overall potential of the economic and trade in Northeast Asia region, this area is required to connect the railway network. Recently, the scale of economic in Northeast Asia, including Korea, China and Japan, is increasing, also Northeast Asia's gross domestic product(GDP) is 22 percent of global and containers trade come up to 36 percent. Each country intend about integration of economic region for activity of mutual economic cooperation, for steady development and prosperity of each country economic all over the world, and Northeast Asia countries are in debate. There is a quite possibility of integration by a single economic region in Korea, China and Japan. Accordingly these countries should have expansion of traffic infrastructure, when the economic region is going to integration.

It may be said that a farmer's crisis deepens from the number of farm households and a trend of the number of cultivated land of the farmer attracting attention for the most fundamental numerical value of the Census of Agriculture 2005. A rate of decline of number of farm households seems to have been stopped, but expansion lasts a number of farm households rate of decline. I can, so to speak, watch weakening of flatland area and luck of mountainous areas and a situation to say if I look in that according to classification agricultural area. I can nominate the effect of a direct payment system for farmers in hilly and mountainous areas enforced in 2000 for the background. It is located in case of the policy introduced preceding it while the rural community and the community including the urban area being paid attention as the last resort of a regional reproduction now. In particular, the character as the village activation subsidy has been strengthened in case of the 2nd stage institutional revise.

In a competitive environment of electric power industry, the level of uncertainly increase due to generation investment decisions creating new challenge to transmission system planner. The use of a locational signal and the provision of a indicative plan to control the transmission investment reasonably is very important in the viewpoint of a regulator. The main target of this study is to emphasize on the necessity for considering simultaneously both transmission expansion plan and congestion cost. This paper demonstrate the many case studies to make certain of the necessity for transmission planning with congestion cost.

Incheon International Airport (IIA) is trying to boost itself up for the Hub airport with a proactive marketing and large scale of airport expansion plan. Even the transfer rate of IIA for now is not high enough for a Hub airport, it is expected to keep increase for the future due to an effort to be the Hub. This study is to be made for setting the standards of airport planning as to the transfer rate based on the research of operational characteristics of Hub airport.

In this study, we performed long lange power transmission expansion planning for conceptual design of HTS power cable in Seoul area. Since the HTS power cable has the high power transmission density and low loss characteristics in comparison with conventional power cables, the HTS power cable is introduced between the downtown and the suburbs in the future system in order to verify the feasibility of the HTS power transmission cables technically and to encourage the research activity in the area.

수요자원의 전력시장 참여가 확대됨에 따른 발전자원의 설비 건설비용 및 운영비용 감소 유도를 위해 발전자원과 수요자원을 동등한 형태로 전원계획에 참여 가능하다. 즉, 지역 별 수요자원의 특성을 고려하여 발전자원과 수요자원을 통합한 전원계획 수립을 할 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 지역 별 수요자원 산정 후, 발전자원과 수요자원을 동등하게 고려한 전원계획문제를 정식화 한다.
