A Study on the Utilization of the Public Charnel Facilities for Cremators by Public Cremation Facilities Using E-Haneul Funeral Information System in the Capital Area

  • Based on the results of the survey and analysis of this study, we suggested a plan to activate the use of Capital Area Public Charnel Facilities as follows. First, the elderly population in Korea increased from 11.9% in 2013 to 16.4% in 2020, and the number of deaths also increased from 266,257 in 2013 to 305,127 in 2020. The supply of Public Charnel Facilities should be expanded, reflecting the cremation demand in the future and condition for the supply and increasing demand of Public Charnel Facilities after cremation, due to an increase of 14.6%. Second, it is urgent to expand the supply because the available period of using Capital Area Public Charnel Facilities is a short period of at least one year up to five years. However, as it is difficult to build Public Charnel Facilities due to location conflicts with local residents, joint construction plans between local governments should be promoted along with renting Private Charnel Facilities. Third, the enshrinement number ratio of the Public Charnel Facilities to the total cremation number of Capital Area Public Cremation Facilities is 16.3%, which is low. Therefore, when building Public Charnel Facilities, improvement plans for the use of public funeral facilities, such as modernization and promotion of facility level, quality improvement of service level, and creation of a pleasant environment, should be actively promoted.

  • A ejector system is one of the fluid machinery, which has been mainly used as an exhaust pump or a vacuum pump. The ejector system has often been pointed out to have only a limited efficiency because it is driven by pure shear action and the mixing action between primary and secondary streams. In the present work, numerical simulations were conducted to investigate the effects of the geometry and the mass flow ratio of supersonic ejector-diffuser systems on their mixing performance. A fully implicit finite volume scheme was applied to solve the axisymmetric Navier-Stokes equations, and the standard ${\kappa}-{\varepsilon}$ turbulence model was used to close the governing equations. The flow fields of the supersonic ejector-diffuser systems were investigated by changing the ejector throat area ratio and the mass flow ratio. The existence of the second throat strongly affected the shock wave structure inside the mixing tube as well as the spreading of the under-expanded jet discharging from the primary nozzle, and served to enhance the mixing performance.

팽창흑연을 이용한 p-Xylene 흡착 (Adsorption of p-Xylene by Expanded Graphite)

  • 본 연구에서는 지하수내에 존재하는 휘발성 유기물 제거를 위한 탄소계 나노물질인 팽창흑연의 흡착제 가능성을 평가하기 위해 일련의 흡착실험을 수행하였다. 황산처리 후 $600^{\circ}C-1,000^{\circ}C$에서 1분동안 팽창시킨 팽창흑연의 최적 팽창조건은 $800^{\circ}C$였으며, 팽창부피는 195배에 이르렀다. 입상 활성탄과의 흡착능력을 비교한 실험결과, 팽창흑연의 비표면적은 $92.4m^2/g$으로 나타나 활성탄의 1/10에 불과하였으나, 대상 오염물질인 p-Xylene 흡착은 5분 이내에 평형농도에 도달한 반면 입상 활성탄의 경우 평형농도에 이르는 시간이 7일 이내로 나타났다. 이는 팽창흑연의 공극구조가 주로 중간공극 및 거대공극으로 이루어져 물의 혼합에 의한 대류현상으로 흡착이 일어난 반면, 활성탄에 존재하는 공극은 대부분이 미세공극으로 이루어져 확산을 통한 느린 흡착이 진행되었기 때문으로 사료된다. 팽창흑연의 등온흡착 실험결과는 langmuir식과 일치하였으며, 최대 흡착량은 24.0mg/g, 흡착상수는 7.94로 나타났다. 결론적으로 휘발성 유기오염물에 대한 활성탄과의 비교 실험결과, 팽창흑연은 작은 비표면적으로 인해 활성탄에 비해 비흡착량은 작았으나 흡착속도는 1차속도식 기준으로 500여배가 큰 것으로 나타나 빠른 흡착제거가 필요한 공정에서 유용할 것으로 판단된다.

노즐 탭과 노즐 내부 낮은 돌출부가 초음속 제트유동장에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Effects of Tabs and Small Proturbances Inside Nozzle on Supersonic Jet Flowfield)

  • 축 대칭 원형노즐 출구에 삼각형 형태의 작은 탭이나 얇은 테이프가 부착되었을 때 나타나는 초음속 제트유동장의 변화에 관한 연구가 쉴리렌 영상과 피토압력 측정을 통하여 수행되었다. 노즐 출구면적의 1 %에 해당하는 작은 탭에서 나타나는 유동방향 와류에 의한 제트유동 변화는 유동이 과소팽창 될 때 완전팽창과 과대팽창의 경우에 비하여 더 크게 나타나며 이로 인한 유동유입이 더 크게 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 탭의 설치각도 변화에 의한 영향도 평가되었으며, 유동이 과대팽창 될 때 노즐 안으로 구부러진 탭의 설치가 충격파의 간섭강도를 약화시키고 이로 인한 마하디스크의 소멸현상을 관찰할 수 있었다. 아울러 노즐내부 낮은 높이의 돌출부가 후방 유동장의 원주방향으로 압력변화를 나타내고, 이러한 압력변화는 유동의 팽창 정도에 영향을 받음을 알 수 있었다.

국내 유니버설 디자인 선행 연구 동향 분석 (An Analysis of Previous Researches on Universal Design in Korea)

  • Currently in Korea, Researches on universal design have been actively accomplished in various fields as not only housing and public space, but also product design and education. The purpose of this study is to analyze previous researches on universal design and to identify its research trends which might suggest the future directions of the related studies. In this study, researches on universal design were analyzed to classify the types according to research area, objects and respondents. Two hundreds twenty one papers(journal articles, theses, dissertations, etc.) which were published in Korea from 1997 to 2008 were analyzed. The results were as follows. Researches on universal design have increased quantitatively and research topics have been diverse. In the 1990s, with the introduction of universal design concept, research area focused on space design, but since 2000 researches on universal design have been expanded to apply the fashion, product design and education. In terms of research objects, the studies about evaluation and case analysis have conducted more than those about principles and planning design. With regard to research respondent, the studies for the elderly or people with disabilities and those of all people including a specific target have conducted in a similar ratio. Previous studies were contributed to expand the topics of universal design and it is time to study the applications based on previous research results for utilization and dissemination of universal design. Also it is necessary to conduct interdisciplinary studies in the field of universal design.

화재 출동시간에 근거한 진주시 소방권역 분석 (An Analysis of Fire Area in Jinju City Based on Fire Mobilization Time)

  • 본 연구에서는 진주시지역의 소방서(5개 119안전센터, 1개 119지역대)를 대상으로 GIS의 네트워크 분석을 이용하여 진주시에 위치한 소방서의 화재진압출동시간별 서비스현황을 분석하였다. 그 결과 진주시 전체 소방서비스면적 중 출동시간 5분 이내 비율은 15.9%, 8분 이내 비율 34.7%, 20분 이내 비율 94%로 나타났으며, 20분 이상인 지역도 6%에 이른 것으로 분석되었다. 특히, 시외곽지역(진성, 지수, 사봉, 일반성, 이반성면 일대)의 소방서비스 접근 취약성을 해결하기 위하여 일반성면에 119지역대가 증설되어 운영되고 있지만 접근성은 여전히 낮은 수준에 머무르고 있다. 또한 천전 119안전센터의 경우 국가산업단지와 일반산업단지가 대규모로 조성되고 있으나 해당 지역의 소방서비스 수준을 분석해 보면 도달시간이 8분 이상 20분 이내지역이 넓게 존재하고 있었다. 이상의 진주시 소방서비스권역을 화재진압출동시간으로 분석한 결과 지방중소도시에서 도농통합에 의해 행정구역이 통합되어 관할지역이 크게 확장된 것에 비하여 소방서비스수준은 도농통합이전의 상태를 크게 벗어나지 못하고 있어서 이에 대한 개선대책이 필요하다.

  • 백두대간은 국토의 근간이자 중요한 생태축이다. 그러나 최근 백두대간 지역을 대상으로 한 각종 개발요구가 증가함에 따라 이에 적절히 대응하기 위한 보전 전략 수립과 체계적인 관리의 필요성이 부각되고 있다. 이 연구는 백두대간 지역을 효율적으로 보호하기 위한 관리구역 설정을 제안하고자 수행하였다. 접근 방법은 백두대간의 적절한 관리범위 설정을 위해 수계 및 유역을 바탕으로 인간 간섭의 영향정도를 파악하는 것으로, 수치지도, Landsat TM 영상 등이 사용되었다. 준산악지형의 특성을 갖는 남덕유산~소사고개 구간을 대상으로 유역확장방식을 사용하여 유역차수에 따른 경작지, 도시, 나지, 수계, 산림 등의 토지이용상태의 변화를 추적하였다. 그 결과 유역확장방식은 백두대간 관리범위 설정기법으로 효율적이었으며, 관리범위는 마루금을 중심으로 무주(8차)와 거창(5차) 방향이 상이하게 설정되었다.

인삼추출물이 생체 세포막 및 artificial lipid monolayer에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Ginseng Extract on Biological Cell Membrane and Artificial Lipid Monolayer)

  • The Present study was conducted to investigate the effects of Ginseng extract on the tension-area curve for stearic acid monolayer. At the same time, the effects of Ginseng extract on osmotic and mechanical fragility of human red cells and histamine release from rabbit leukocytes were studied, The results are summarized as follows. 1. The Ginseng alcohol extract was found to expand liquid expanded phase of stearic acid monolayer, thus it is speculated that this agent may be acting as a surface active substance. 2. Osmotic hemolysis was inhibited by the Ginseng alcohol extract and the same effect was also observed in the presence of Ginseng saponin. However, the Ginseng alcohol extract was found to decrease hematocrit ratio of the RBC suspension, therefore, the inhibition of the osmotic hemolysis by this agent may be secondary effect to the reduced cell volume. 3. The mechanical hemolysis was also inhibited by the Ginseng alcohol extract but the inhibition was independent of changes in hematocrit ratio. 4. Histamine release from rabbit leukocytes was significantly increased in vitro in the presence of the Ginseng alcohol extract.(p<0.05)

전주천 참종개 Cobitis Koreensis 의 생태 (Ecological studies of Cobitid Fish, Cobitis koreensis in Jeonju-cheon Creek, Jeonrabug-do province, Korea)

  • The study was made to expand the knowledge of the ecology of Cobitis koreensis which is very common in the upper and middle part of rivers in western part of Korea. A number of C. koreensis are found in the creek of Jeonju-cheon located at Segjang-ri, Wanju-gun, Jeonrabug-do Province. The area studied has pebble bottoms. The flow velocity of the river ranges from 20cm to 40cm per second under normal conditions. The sex ratio of male to female was 1:1.34 and the female was 10~25mm larger than the male in total length. Length-frequencies in this population indicate that 20~40 mm fish group is underyearling, 40~60mm is a yearling, and 60~85mm is two-year-old. And the fish longer than 90mm in total length is regarded as being over three-year-old. Based on the ratio of gonadal weight to body weight, spawning in this species began in April and expanded well into June with water temperature 20~26。C, and the individuals became sexually mature over the two-year-old. The number of the eggs was counted from ten matured female fishes. The mean number of eggs in seven 72.6~81.4mm fishes was 908 (595-1, 229) and that of the rest three 86.0~89.0mm was 1, 674 (1, 337-2, 023). The contents of stomach in the other fifteen specimens captured in September 1977 were investigated. While the younger fed almost on the algae, the foods in the adult were largely aquatic insects.

KRISO 고효율 계열 프로펠러 개발 (Development of a High-Efficiency KRISO Series Propeller)

  • Recently, the design point of the propeller is gradually changing due to the demand for energy saving and environmental protection. Until recently, self-propulsion model tests were conducted using stock propellers and geometry information was provided to propeller designers, but the range of existing stock propellers did not keep up with the changing design points, and the range of series propellers required in the initial design was also insufficient. Future propeller performance requires high performance and eco-friendliness, and the need for expansion of series propellers has increased. In order to respond to future needs and provide a wide range of advantages in propeller design, KRISO manufactures about 100 series propellers and builds series data through a model tests. In this paper, the approach method for deriving the representative optimal shape to be applied to the 4-blade series propeller in the initial stage of series propeller development was summarized.
