  • We have developed the exclusive CAD/CAM system for the machining of impeller blades. This study is about the mod-eling method for the effective machining of impeller blades farmed by ruled surface. As the impeller is consisted of boss part and blade part, the boss is modeled by rotational surface of hub curve on z-axis and the blade is described by ruled- surfaces between hub curve and shroud curve. This modeling process can be carried out on the software developed in this study. And, the developed software can describe the impeller as a solid model through interface with Solid-Works soul- ware. The developed software containing the interface method proposed in this study was very effective fur impeller modeling.

ETBF의 새로운 다진영역 표현: SA 여파기 (A new multilevel representation of ETBF: Subset averaged filters)

  • 본 연구에서는 SA 여파기로 불리는 ETBF의 새로운 다진 영역 표현을 제시하고 이 표현이 ETBF의 모든 영역을 포함한다는 사실을 밝혔다. SA여파기는 다단 여파기의 구조를 가진다. 첫째단(first stage)은 최대, 최소, exclusive-OR와 같은 비선형 연산으로 이루어지며 두 번째 단은 첫째단 출력들의 가중 평균으로 주어진다. 이 구조는 SAM 여파기와 같이 첫째단 여파기 윈도우의 최대수를 제한하는 방식이 가능하여 매우 유연한 구조를 갖지만, SAM 여파기와는 달리 ETBF의 부분군만을 표현하지 않고 ETBF의 전 영역을 표현할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

  • Recent time, there appear many cases of remodeling construction concluding enlargement of exclusive using area in Apartment. These constructions show several phases according to the size of apartment and use of the each room. In small size apartment the cause of enlargement construction is usually the desire for having enough dwelling space. But in large size apartment that is usually the desire for having usuful and effective dwelling space. In these remodeling constructions owner or designer change the interior design of each rooms and the Intoner materials. These changes show several tendencies by the sizes of apartments and use of the each room.

서브 프레임 제작용 다목적 용접지그 개발 (Development of Multipurpose Welding Jig for Sub-Frame)

  • In commercial vehicle, sub-frame which equipped in main frame supporting dump deck and oil tanker. This is the main structure for all equipment which including joint function. Sub-frame is made by welding process, this susceptible to deform and crack by its longitudinal size. Also various kind of sub-frame make it difficult to standardization in manufacturing process and exclusive jig is not adapted yet. Frame size is over 6~8m and weight is more than 300kg this make re-work more difficult. If manufacturing company made precise sub-frame, this is not only convenient for customers but also save the company money by reducing the working time. In this study manufacture the sub-frame be suitable for its main function and develop exclusive welding jig for obtain checking fixture function as well.

Image Steganography to Hide Unlimited Secret Text Size

  • This paper shows the hiding process of unlimited secret text size in an image using three methods: the first method is the traditional method in steganography that based on the concealing the binary value of the text using the least significant bits method, the second method is a new method to hide the data in an image based on Exclusive OR process and the third one is a new method for hiding the binary data of the text into an image (that may be grayscale or RGB images) using Exclusive and Huffman Coding. The new methods shows the hiding process of unlimited text size (data) in an image. Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) is applied in the research to simulate the results.

Exclusive Enteral Nutrition for the Treatment of Pediatric Crohn's Disease: The Patient Perspective

  • Crohn's disease (CD) is a chronic, incurable and relapsing disease involving any part of the gastrointestinal tract and exclusive enteral nutrition (EEN) is first-line therapy. Few studies have examined the patient experience of EEN. The aim of this study was to assess the child's experiences of EEN, to identify problematic themes and understand the child's mindset. Children with CD who previously completed EEN were recruited to complete a survey. All data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel and reported as N (%). Forty-four children (mean age 11.3 years) consented to participate. Sixty-eight percent of children reported limited formula flavors as the most challenging aspect and 68% of children identified 'support' to be important. This study highlights the psychological impact of chronic disease and its therapies on children. Providing adequate support is essential to insure EEN is successful. Further studies are required to determine psychological support strategies for children taking EEN.

Implementation of a High Performance XOR-XNOR Circuit

  • The parity function can be implemented with XOR (exclusive-OR) and XNOR (exclusive NOR) circuit. In this paper we propose a high performance XOR-XNOR circuit. The proposed circuitreduced the internal load capacitance on critical path and implemented with 8 transistors. The circuit produces a perfect output signals for all input combinations. Compared with the previous circuits, the proposed circuit presents the improved characteristics in average propagation delay time, power dissipation, power-delay product (PDP), and energy-delay-product (EDP). The proposed circuits are implemented with standard CMOS 0.18um technology. Computer simulations using SPICE show that the proposed circuit realizes the expected logic functions and achieves a reasonable performance.
