버블 유동층과 세정 볼을 이용한 폐수 열원 히트펌프 시스템 증발기의 관 외측 오염 저감 장치에 관한 연구 (A fouling mitigation device for a wastewater heat recovery heat pump system using a bubbling fluidized bed with cleaning sponge balls)

  • 폐수 열원 히트펌프 시스템은 목욕탕, 공장 또는 하천수 등을 히트펌프의 열원으로 사용한다. 증발기는 폐수로부터의 오염을 완화시키기 위하여 휜이 없는 나관식(bare tube) 열교환기가 주로 사용되고 있다. 대부분의 열 저항은 관외를 흐르는 폐수측에 생성되는 파울링에 의한 것이며, 히트펌프의 성능을 급격하게 감소시킨다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 나관식 열교환기 하부에서 버블 유동층을 형성시키고 세정 볼을 사용하여 관 외측의 파울링을 저감시키는 장치를 개발하였다. 실험 조건으로, 냉수온도 $20^{\circ}C$, 폐수 온도 $40^{\circ}C$, 관 내측 유량 100L/h, 수조 내 물의 양 50L, 열교환기 면적 $0.161m^2$ 이다. 실험결과 세정 볼 없이 버블유동층만 형성한 경우에는 버블유동층이 없는 경우에 비해 파울링에 의해 생성된 열 저항이 약 56% 감소되었으며, 세정 볼의 개수 밀도가 8,000(Number of $ball/m^3$) 일 때, 파울링에 의해 생성된 열 저항은 버블유동층 및 세정 볼이 없을 때와 비교하여 약 86% 감소되었다.

열 펌프의 식품 농축에의 이용 연구 (The Heat Pump Application to the Food Concentration)

  • 고효율의 열발생장치인 열펌프중, 국내에서 이용중인 압축식 열펌프에 대해 성능시험 및 식품농축분야에 이용코자 실증시험을 하였다. 국내에서 $43^{\circ}C$의 온천수를 $51^{\circ}C$까지 가열하기 위해 설치, 운전중인 냉매압축식열펌프(프레온12, 150HP)의 성적계수는 가열측이 4.03, 냉각측이 3.5로 나타났으며, 압축기 효율(${\alpha}$)은 0.477이었다. 또, 압축식열펌프를 국산화하기 위해 개발된 10HP의 열펌프(프레온22)에서 시수를 $39^{\circ}C$까지 가열하는 경우의 성적계수는 가열측이 3.0, 냉각측이 1.87이었다. 원심식농축기(${\alpha}$-LAVAL, CT1B)에 열펌프를 부착한후 설탕물의 농축실험을 한 결과, 수증기 응축에 소비된 열량이 농축에 필요한 증발잠열보다 15%정도 많이 소비되었고, 총괄열전달계수는 $1196\;Kcal/m^{2}{\cdot}h{\cdot}^{\circ}C$이었다. 또, 열펌프에서 제조되는 $60^{\circ}C$$15^{\circ}C$의 물을 열원으로 하여 마늘추출액을 저온농축(증발온도 : $30{\sim}35^{\circ}C$, 진공도 : $28{\sim}40$Torr)한 결과 농축에 소비된 열량과 수증기 응축열량과의 비는 0.961로 나타나 열펌프의 냉매 응축열과 증발열이 열수지 조절이 용이한 조건이었다. 따라서, 열펌프의 식품농축 분야에의 적용성은 매우 좋은 것으로 나타났다.

응축 및 증발 부하에 따른 냉동시스템 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Refrigerating System according to the Condensation and Evaporation Load)

  • The refrigerating system are high efficiency and comfortable due to the automation of the system as well as enhance energy saving are contributing to driving system. Previous study the rotational frequency of the compressor was confined to the fixed condition have changed load of evaporator and condenser related about the refrigerator performance characteristic according to the evaporation load and condensation load change tries to be analyze through the experiment. The useful data for the economic driving of the freezing apparatus tries to be drawn. Consequently, it confirmed that refrigerant in the compressor overheated and as the evaporation load increased the specific volume was increased and the coolant circulation rate decreased. In confirmed that condensation load increased the compression ratio and discharge gas temperature increased. It reduced the low-temperature efficiency and condensation calorie and the quality factor was decreased.

  • The objective of this paper is the investigation of the relationships between the surface roughness and film evaporative characteristics of the surface. For example, when the droplet of liquid is in contact with the solid surface, its behavior strongly depends on the surface characteristics. The material properties and geometry - profile shape, waviness, roughness - of the surfaces have strongly influenced on the wettability of the droplet. To investigate the effect of the surface roughness on the film evaporation, firstly, the characteristics of wettabilities were studied according to contact angle and surface tree energy of specimens with various roughness heights. Secondly, the experimental test were carried out on capacities of the tubes diversly roughened by using different kinds of emery papers. Finally, the relationships between the film evaporation characteristics and surface roughness were explained by means of the correlation of contact angle and surface free energy with surface roughness and the influences of surface tree energy on the heat transfer performance.

  • A fundamental study on the harvest-type ice storage system applied ice making method in-water and its temperature characteristics in ice storage system was performed experimentally of the charge and discharge of cold. This paper is concerned with the development of a new method for making and separating ice and saving floated ice by installing an evaporation plate at in-water within a storage tank. In a conventional harvest-type ice storage system, a tank saves ice by separating a formed ice from an installed evaporation plate, which is located above an ice storage tank as an ice storage system. A new harvest-type method shows very good heat transfer efficiency than a convectional method. It is because the evaporation panel is directly contacted with water in a storage tank. Also, at a conventional system a circulating pump, a circulating water distributor and a piping are installed, but these components are not necessary in a new method. In this study two kinds of ice storage systems are experimentally investigated to study the thermal characteristics of ice storage tanks.

평관형 및 나선 그루브형 열사이폰 내부 작동유체의 포화온도와 단열부의 표면온도에 관한 연구 (A Comparison between the Internal Saturation Temperature of Working Fluid and the Surface Temperature of Adiabatic Zone of Two-Phase Closed Thermosyphons with Various Helical Grooves)

  • This study is focused on the comparison between the internal saturation temperature of the working fluid and the surface temperature of adiabatic zone of two-phase closed thermosyphons with various helical grooves. Distilled water, methanol and ethanol have been used as the working fluid. In the present work, a copper tube of the length of 1200mm and 14.28mm of inside diameter is used as the container of the thermosyphon. Each of the evaporator and the condenser section has a length of 550mm, while the remaining part of the thermosyphon tube is adiabatic section. A experimental study was carried out for analyzing the performances of having 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 helical grooves. A plain thermosyphon having the same inner and outer diameter as the grooved thermosyphons is also tested for the comparison. The results show that the numbers of grooves and the type of working fluids are very important factors for the operation of thermosyphons. A good agreement between the internal saturation temperature of working fluid and the surface temperature of adiabatic zone of two-phase closed thermosyphons with various helical grooves is obtained.

가정용 빌트인 제빙기의 분무 노즐, R-404A 충전량 최적화 및 제빙 가시화 (Optimization of Spray Nozzle, R-404A Charge Amount and Visualization of Ice Formation in a Residential Built-in Ice Maker)

  • Because of improvement of living standards and increased use of ice at home, built-in ice makers are of interest. In this study, refrigeration cycle of a unitary ice maker for residential usage was optimized using R-404A. Optimization was achieved through a search for proper refrigerant charge amount. For the present ice maker producing ice for 24 cups, the optimum charge amount was 200 g. In this configuration, the ice making cycle time was 17 minutes 53 seconds, ice production was 1.27 kg/h and COP was 0.310. After initial start-up, condensation and evaporation temperatures gradually decreased with time. As ice builds in the cup, heat transfer performance of the evaporator decreases, that results in decrease of evaporation and condensation temperatures. Replacement of existing slit nozzles with individual circular hole nozzles improved ice production capacity by 10 percent. Through visualization of ice formation in the ice cup, growth rate of the ice in the cup was relatively uniform.

냉동기유 주입량과 냉매 충진량에 따른 냉동기 성능 평가 (Effects of Refrigerant and Oil Charges on the Performance of an Refrigeration System)

  • In this study, effects of refrigerant and oil charges on the performance of a refrigeration system simulating an automobile air conditioner have been experimentally investigated using R134a and PAG oil. Measurements were taken in a breadboard type refrigeration test unit with a compressor used for a commercial automobile air-conditioner under a set of condition imposed upon normally to automobile air conditioners. Both the COP and capacity decreased rapidly as the oil charge increased because of the decrease in vapor pressure of the circulating refrigerant/oil mixture. The excess oil left in the evaporator also caused heat transfer degradation resulting in a decrease in capacity and in turn COP. It was found that there is an optimum refrigerant charge at which the COP becomes the maximum. Below this optimum charge, both the capacity and COP increased as the refrigerant charge increased and above the optimum charge, both of them remained almost constant. Hence, the COP seems to be the most important factor in determining the optimum refrigerant charge. When the system was undercharged, the refrigerant at the condenser exit lost subcooling and showed a sign of poor miscibility.

서랍식 김치냉장고의 최적 유로 설계를 위한 유동특성에 관한 연구 (A study on flow characteristic of a stand type Kimchi refrigerator for optimum design of air flow passage)

  • The normal cooling system of a refrigerator is applied to indirect a cooling methods. But the Kimchi refrigerator is applied to direct the cooling method. Recently when the model was applied to both direct and indirect the cooling methods, the improvement was considerable. With the development of the living standards in Korea, there has been more sensitive dissatisfaction about the taste and the smell of Kimchi. In order to solve these kinds, there is a need to systematic and scientific approach. Based on these, the purpose of this study is to optimize design for improve the storage period of Kimchi refrigerator. In this research, we concentrate on the temperature change and heat transfer characteristics of interior parts of the Kimchi refrigerator due to control cycle of temperature and flow phenomenon of cooling air.

분자동역학을 이용한 박막의 열경계저항 예측 및 실험적 검증 (Molecular Dynamics Simulation on the Thermal Boundary Resistance of a Thin-film and Experimental Validation)

  • 본 논문에서는 비평형 분자동역학 시뮬레이션 기법을 사용하여 알루미늄 박막과 실리콘 웨이퍼 간 열경계저항을 예측하였다. 실리콘의 끝 단 고온부에 열을 공급하고, 같은 양의 열을 알루미늄 끝 단 저온부에서 제거하여 경계면을 통한 열전달이 일어나도록 하였으며, 실리콘 내부와 알루미늄 내부의 선형 온도 변화를 계산함으로써 경계면에서의 온도 차이에 따른 열저항 값을 구하였다. 300K 온도에서 $5.13{\pm}0.17m^2{\cdot}K/GW$의 결과를 얻었으며, 이는 열유속 조건의 변화와 무관함을 확인하였다. 아울러, 펨토초 레이저 기반의 시간영역 열반사율 기법을 사용하여 열경계저항 값을 실험적으로 구하였으며, 시뮬레이션 결과와 비교 검증하였다. 전자빔 증착기를 사용하여 90nm 두께의 알루미늄 박막을 실리콘(100) 웨이퍼 표면에 증착하였으며, 유한차분법을 이용한 수치해석을 통해 열전도 방정식의 해를 구해 실험결과와 곡선맞춤 함으로써 열경계저항을 정량적으로 평가하고 나노스케일에서의 열전달 현상에 관한 특징을 살펴보았다.
