Citation-based article summarization is to create a shortened text for an academic article, reflecting the content of citing sentences which contain other's thoughts about the target article to be summarized. To deal with the problem, this study introduces an extractive summarization method based on calculating a linear combination of various sentence salience scores, which represent the degrees to which a candidate sentence reflects the content of author's abstract text, reader's citing text, and the target article to be summarized. In the current study, salience scores are obtained by computing surface-level textual similarities. Experiments using CL-SciSumm datasets show that the proposed method parallels or outperforms the previous approaches in ROUGE evaluations against SciSumm-2017 human summaries and SciSumm-2016/2017 community summaries.

Wikipedia infoboxes have emerged as an important structured information source on the web. To compose infobox for an article, considerable amount of manual effort is required from an author. Due to this manual involvement, infobox suffers from inconsistency, data heterogeneity, incompleteness, schema drift etc. Prior works attempted to solve those problems by generating infobox automatically based on the corresponding article text. However, there are many articles in Wikipedia that do not have enough text content to generate infobox. In this paper, we present an automated approach to generate infobox for movie domain of Wikipedia by extracting information from several sources of the web instead of relying on article text only. The proposed methodology has been developed using semantic relations of article content and available semi-structured information of the web. It processes the article text through some classification processes to identify the template from the large pool of template list. Finally, it extracts the information for the corresponding template attributes from web and thus generates infobox. Through a comprehensive experimental evaluation the proposed scheme was demonstrated as an effective and efficient approach to generate Wikipedia infobox.

본 연구는 프로젝트 경영 분야 중 Al-Harbi (2001)의 논문을 Pyrczak (2008)이 제시한 평가절차에 의하여 분석하였다. 분석 대상으로 선정된 Al-Harbi (2001)의 논문은 프로젝트 경영에서 의사결정방법론으로서의 AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) 적용 가능성을 제시하였다. 이러한 논문의 평가를 위해서 여러 절로 구분하여 Pyrczak (2008)에서 제시하는 분석표에 의해 논문을 세부적으로 평가하였다. 본 연구는 연구 논문의 평가 방법을 정량화된 수치에 의해 보여줄 수 있음을 제안했다는 점에의 의미를 갖고 있다.

Corporations are pursuing maximum returns from their R&D investment. They are also interested in sound measures to quantify returns. In fact, they use various measures and criteria for measuring returns from the R&D investment. But the fundamental problem is that there is no generic and widely acceptable measures and criteria. To make things more complicated, measures are very powerful and influential to the people in the corporations. Herbert Simon already indicated that people do many things but people usually do their best for the only tasks which are measured. Many researchers, like Chester(1995), are interested in R&D productivity measures and risks because what the company measures really influence R&D people and output. This article present design concepts of the R&D project selection and evaluation system in POSCO(Pohang Iron & Steel Company). This is an output extract from the 6-month joint activities with POSRI(POSCO Research Institute) researchers and POSCO R&D personnel. Process changes, new organizations and new selection and evaluation criteria are developed to improve R&D performance and to enhance technology management of the POSCO. This article covers new selection and evaluation criteria only. We would like to share our experience about how we redesign the selection and evaluation of R&D projects. We also bring insights how we seamlessly integrate 4 different project selection and evaluation steps as a whole. We hope that this case will give you a clue to improve your R&D management.

Purpose - The purpose of this article is to review the key features and benefits with different methods which is suitable for a particular organization (in this article JTI Kazakhstan) as well as for assessing the capacity of a staff and identification. Research design, data and methodology - Current approaches were used to assess a staff capacity and classify groups. By comparing each other and marked different application methods, this article developed the method for the employment of personal potential and control management process. Results - Through this analysis, assessing labor capacity functioned as an evaluation and assessment for employee competence. Examples suggested practical recommendations for assessing employees' labor potential. Conclusions - It is important not just to bring together several techniques but adapt the conditions with existing organization with the professionalism and experience of specialists in managing the evaluation process. In terms of the implementation of this task, it is necessary to have knowledge in the field of psychology as well as business processes, objectives, and specificities of companies including the relevant personal qualities.

The present article has the purpose of evaluating subjective response of Won Buddhism sanctums by psychoacoustics experiment. Furthermore, basing on this experiment, the present article makes a suggestion of a physical sound-evaluating index. To achieve the purpose, I conducted an psychoacoustics experiment at 6 sanctuaries out of the representing 40 sanctuaries of Won Buddhism sanctums, which size is bigger than 1,000 m$^3$. I made a reanalysis with 3 Buddhist sanctums out of the subjects of psychoacoustics experiment which are generally rated superior. From the result, I can make each evaluation type into two types, sound clarity and space sense of sound. Also, I make various suggestions of physical parameter, with which I can evaluate the proper sound condition for Won Buddhism sanctums.

A nursing activity classification for hospitalized patients was performed based on an article review regarding nursing definition and nursing activity classification system. The study was conducted as follows: 1) Taxonomy was developed by the research team through the Delphi process and review article. The taxonomy consists of four nursing processes, (assessment, diagnosis, intervention and evaluation) and twelve nursing activity domains space (resperation, nutrition, elimination, exercise/alignment maintenance, comfort, hygiene, safety, spiritual support, counseling/ education, medication, communication, patient and information management). 2) First, nursing activities of the intervention process were listed and then classified by the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, intervention and evaluation. The list consists of twelve nursing activity domains and 136 nursing activities. 3) A pilot study was conducted in two hospitals to verify validity and appropriateness of nursing activities. 4) The content validity index, which was calculated by 6 clinical practice experts, was 0.95. Also, a nursing activity classification system should also be developed in the department of community nursing and home health care nursing.

Traditionally, news was consumed only through printed newspapers and broadcasting media, such as radio and television. However, the Internet has enabled people to consume news content online. Since most of online news content has been provided for free, it is not easy for news providers to charge the fixed subscription fee for online news content. Therefore, as an alternative strategy, some online news providers have tried to adopt the Pay-What-You-Want (PWYW) pricing model, which allows users (readers) to pay as much as they want after consuming news content. As this pricing model shows some possibility to grow and replace the unsuccessful monetization strategy of online news content, we therefore examined the comparative importance of seven heuristic attributes (i.e., article evaluation, article share, article comment, article information design, article length, writer SNS, and writer information) affecting readers' voluntary payment behavior through a conjoint analysis with 379 news articles collected from online news Website (i.e., Ohmynews.com) where the PWYW model has been working successfully. This study found that article share and article length are the most important factors which affect online news content users' voluntary payment. Finally, two major and eight minor propositions are suggested based on the findings of the study. This study would suggest guidelines for how to create online news content which induces much more voluntary payment.

최근 국내 외 물류환경이 급변하고 있어 국내기업들은 물론이거니와 해외기업들까지 자동화창고 개발 및 투자를 확대하고 있다. 이러한 환경속에서 자동화창고 시스템은 급변하고 있으며, 그에 따라 다양한 기능을 갖춘 자동화창고 시스템이 개발되고 있다. 이렇게 자동화창고 시스템의 새로운 기술들이 많이 개발되어 양적인 면은 커져가고 있지만, 자동화창고 시스템의 제품 품질평가체계인 질적인 면은 제자리걸음이다. 본 논문에서는 자동화창고의 제품평가체제 확립을 위해다양하게 발전하고 있는 자동화창고 시스템의 특성과 기술의 동향을 분석하고, 이를 기반으로 자동화창고 시스템의 기능성과 신뢰성을 확보하기 위해 제품평가에 관한 국제품질평가 표준인 ISO/IEC 25000 시리즈를 참조하여 기능적합성과 신뢰성의 평가항목을 도출하였으며, 도출한 평가항목을 통해 평가모델을 개발하였다. 본 논문을 통해 자동화창고 시스템의 품질수준을 높이기 위한 기능적합성과 신뢰성의 평가기준을 확립할 것으로 사료된다.

This article describes a methodology for evaluating huge aerospace R&D investments using the real options pricing method. Option pricing has been proposed as a useful approach for modeling investment in R&D. Two important features of R&D investments are that an R&D project takes time to complete and that the outcome of R&D investments is highly uncertain. This makes the analysis of R&D investments difficult. Traditional tools for project evaluation, like IRR or the NPV, are inadequate for coping with the high uncertainty. Hence, In this article I propose a log-transformed binomal lattice method, and it will show that option pricing might be an adequate framework for evaluating such types of aerospace investments.
