The concept about zoo is changing from the animal exhibition which simply contained the animals to the ecological zoo which has the function of preserving the animal species. At the central point of maintaining such role, the basic principle called the animal welfare lies obviously. Korea has applied the animal welfare principles such as carrying out the enrichment in the zoos since 2003, but there has not been any institutional device to evaluate and examine the application of the animal welfare so far. This study aims to confirm the level of animal welfare in Korea and suggest a developmental direction. For the purpose of the study, 12 zoos in Korea were evaluated according to 68 evaluating categories. 'Five Principles of Animal Welfare' in the Secretary of State's Standards of Modern Zoo Practice were selected and carried out as the evaluation categories, and the result, from the highest to lowest score given, was 'provision of food and water', 'provision of protection from fear and distress', 'provision of health care', 'provision of an opportunity to express most normal behaviours', and 'provision of a suitable enrichment' with the overall score of the entire Korean zoos being 2.86 (${\pm}$ 0.56). It was also confirmed that in order to improve the animal welfare of the Korean zoos, the animal management system must be standardized and organized. The evaluation and feedback, the active practice of animal welfare and its legislative support should be provided to establish an effective institutional device as well.

This research presents that seismic performance of steel moment resisting frame building designed by past provision(UBC, Uniform Building Code) before and after retrofitted with BRB (Buckling-Restrained Brace) was evaluated using response modification factor (R-factor). In addition, the seismic performance of the retrofitted past building was compared with that specified in current provision. The past building considered two different connections: bilinear connection, which was used by structural engineer for building design, and brittle connection observed in past earthquakes. The nonlinear pushover analysis and time history analysis were performed for the analytical models considered in this study. The R-factor was calculated based on the analytical results. When comparing the R-factor of the current provision with the calculated R-factor, the results were different due to the hysteresis characteristics of the connection types. After retrofitted with BRBs, the past buildings with the bilinear connection were satisfied with the seismic performance of the current provision. However, the past buildings with the brittle connection was significantly different with the R-factor of the current provision.

After the reform of rail industry, a system to evaluate service qualities is required for the continuous improvement of railway service and the strength of competitiveness. This research provides evaluation categories and indices which are considered to be suited to the evaluation of rail service qualities. This study provides 4 categories and 11 indices to assess the rail service qualities: provision-operation interval/average operation speed, reliability-regularity/operation cancellation rate, safety- train usage term/facilities for the weak, client satisfaction- easiness of reserving and purchasing of tickets/comfort of queuing facilities/ kindness of train crews/ pleasantness of trains/provision of information, etc.

기록정보서비스에 대한 인식이 낮은 현실 속에서 이용자들의 기록정보서비스 평가는 기록관에서 이용자들의 실질적 요구를 파악함으로써 서비스 개선을 위해 도움이 되는 정보를 제공해줄 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 비슷한 이용자군을 이루고 있으며 이용자 간 상호작용이 원활한 대학기록관의 이용자들을 대상으로 설문을 통한 서비스 평가를 실시하였다. 다양한 서비스 평가도구를 분석하여 설문지가 작성되었으며, 2015년 4월부터 10월까지 총 13개 대학기록관에서 113명이 설문에 응하였다. 설문결과는 적합성 검증을 통해 4개 영역(이용결과, 기록관정보제공, 기록관접근성, 상호작용)의 평가 척도로 재구성되었으며, 이에 대해 T검정, 상관분석, 회귀분석 등을 실시하였다. 이용자들은 상호작용영역에 대해서는 높게 평가한 반면, 기록관정보제공영역은 상대적으로 낮게 평가하였다. T검정 결과 검색 웹사이트를 구축한 기관 및 전자시스템으로 기록을 관리하는 기관이 세부영역에서 이용자에게 더 좋은 평가를 받았으며, 회귀분석 결과 상호작용영역 및 기록관정보제공영역에 대한 평가결과가 이용결과에 대한 평가에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다.

This study was conducted to compare and analyze the management status of internet homepage of catering companies in Korea for improving internet marketing. An evaluation tool with 6 categories consisting of contents, information update, user's convenience, design, provision of related information, and accessibility was developed and used for the analysis of 6 major catering companies. A five-point likert scale (1=very badly organized, 5=very well organized) was used for evaluating above six categories. The overall mean score for six categories was 2.91 out of 5, showing below the average. The categories received less than 3 points were information update (2.16), user's convenience (2.33), and provision of related information (2.83). The scores for design was the highest (3.66), followed by accessibility (3.33), and contents (3.16). These results suggest that the internet homepaee of the catering companies should be improved especially in the provision of enough information and its update in order to promote their internet marketing.

Towards the deployment of 3rd generation systems, Virtual Home Environment (VHE), stemming from 3GPP, appears to be a powerful concept advocating the provision and delivery of personalized services to roaming users across network and terminal boundaries. This paper aims to expose the pathway for materializing the VHE concept, via the specification, implementation and evaluation of a prototype. Core aspects for realizing the concept such as the business and roaming models are presented, while a VHE enabling architecture utilizing key technologies (OSA/Parlay, MExE, and USAT) is introduced. The proposed architecture has already been evaluated by performing an initial trial demonstration. Currently it is being extended to support VHE service provision to roaming users, an aspect to be addressed by the final trial.

And the guidelines for evaluation is suggested and the results offers foundations for the development of evaluation index.

Objective: This study aimed to report the improvement of a patient with chronic insomnia who was treated with Baekho-tang based on the Shanghanlun disease pattern identification diagnostic system (DPIDS). Methods: The patient's symptoms were checked on days 19, 37, and 52 after taking Baekho-tang. Chronic insomnia was evaluated by the degree of insomnia, hours spent asleep, and the number of times the patient woke up during the night, which were all assessed by a visual analog scale (VAS) with the Leeds Sleep Evaluation Questionnaire. In addition, new clinical implications for the interpretation of the 350th Shanghanlun provision were reviewed. Results: After administering Baekho-tang for 52 days, based on the 350th Shanghanlun provision according to the DPIDS, the VAS score decreased from 10 to 1. Conclusions: The patient recovered from chronic insomnia. This case report suggests that the words "滑," "厥," and "裏" in the 350th provision of Shanghanlun mean physical and psychological causes of insomnia. In addition, Baekho-tang had a therapeutic effect in improving the chief complaint of the patient. Therefore, the interpretation of the 350th Shanghanlun provision requires a new definition that includes the patient's lifestyle, family conflict, and past history of the patient as a cause of chronic insomnia.

이 연구는 부산광역시 금정구 소재 3개 공공도서관을 사례로 하여, EBSM과 collectionHQ에서 제시하는 핵심성과 지표를 적용하여 장서성과평가를 시도한 사례연구이다. 장서의 성과를 중심으로 평가하는 장서성과평가에 집중하며, 개별 도서관 평가뿐만 아니라 평가결과에 나타난 도서관별 차이를 검토하였다. 연구에서 선정한 핵심성과지표는 누더기 아이템, 사망 아이템, 인기저자 공급, 인기주제 공급, 과잉재고 주제분야와 재고부족 주제분야이다. 주요한 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 누더기 아이템 평가에서 3개 도서관 모두 전체 아이템에서 누더기 아이템의 비율이 낮게 나타났다. 둘째, 사망 아이템의 경우, 3개 도서관 모두 높은 비율로 나타나, collectionHQ에서 제안한 기준값을 초과하였다. 셋째, 인기저자 상위 10명을 확인하였으며, 도서관마다 차이가 났다. 넷째, 인기주제 공급 평가에서는 3개 도서관 모두 기준값에 미치는 인기주제가 없는 것으로 나타나, 도서관별로 상위 10개의 인기주제를 식별하였다. 다섯째, 과잉재고 주제분야 평가에서는 금샘도서관은 과잉재고 주제분야가 하나도 없었지만, 금정도서관과 서동도서관에서는 다수의 주제분야가 과잉재고 상태인 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 재고부족 주제분야 평가에서는 금샘도서관에서만 재고부족 주제분야가 나타났다.

본 연구의 목적은 수단선택과 통행배정의 결합모형을 통하여 정보이용률, 정보제공전략, 혼잡상태의 변화에 따른 자가용 운전자와 버스승객의 정보제공효과를 비교, 평가하는 데 있다. 평가모형은 수단간 효용차를 웨이블 분포로 가정한 수단선택과 정보이용자와 비이용자의 노선선택시 비용인지오류크기를 상이하게 적용하여 노선선택행위를 설명한 확률적 사용자 평형모형으로 구성된다. 정보제공전략에 있어 사용자 최적과 체계 최적외에 두 전략의 혼합전략을 구사했을 경우를 비교하였다. 모의실험은 Sioux Falls Network에서 이뤄졌다. 평가결과 정적모형에서는 혼잡이 심하고, 체계최적상태에서 정보이용률이 0.4∼0.6일 때 총 통행시간의 절감효과가 크게 나타났으며. 이 때 버스 분담율도 증가하였다. 특히 정보이용률에 따른 총 통행비용의 분포가 U자 형태를 나타냄으로써 Braess의 역설이 존재함을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 일별동적모형에서는 시간이 경과함에 따라 정보이용률에 비례하여 정보제공효과가 나타남으로써 다소 상이한 결과를 보여주었다.
