한계전단변형률 개념을 이용한 터널의 지반이완하중 평가 (Evaluation of rock load based on critical shear strain concept on tunnels)

  • 터널의 지반이완하중 산정방법에는 이론식, 경험식, 수치해석적인 방법 등이 있는데 이론식과 경험식은 실무에 적용하기에는 많은 한계점이 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 그 중에서 수치해석적 방법이 지반이완하중 산정에 필요한 모든 매개변수를 고려할 수 있고, 지반과 지보재의 상호작용을 모사할 수 있기 때문에 보다 합리적인 방법이라 판단하였다. 수치해석 결과를 바탕으로 명확한 지반이완영역을 결정하기 위하여 Sakurai(1981)의 한계전단변형률 개념을 이용하였다. Stable region의 경계영역인 Level 1의 지반이 완하중고를 산정한 결과 지반등급 3까지는 지반이완하중이 산정되지 않았고, 지반등급 4, 5에서는 기존 산정방법들에 비해 지반이완하중고가 작게 산정되어 보다 경제적인 콘크리트라이닝 설계가 가능할 것으로 판단하였다.

반사율에 따른 광선반 채광 성능평가 연구 - 주거공간을 중심으로 - (Daylighting Performance Evaluation of Light-shelf according to the Reflectivity - Focused on the Residing space -)

  • Purpose: Due to recent increase on energy consumption for light in building, many studies to mitigate this issue have been conducted. Various researches have been carried out to suggest light shelf as one of the solutions, but researches for its reflectivity is very few. In fact, existing research on light shelf shows that utilizing more than 90% of high-illumination materials causes imbalance of glare and illuminance. Method: Therefore this research aimed to evaluate the performance of light shelves depending on reflectivity and to identify proper solution through test-bed. Result: The results are following: 1) Increased reflectivity generally contributed to increase of indoor illuminance but degrade uniformity factor related with indoor comfort of light environment. 2) The $0^{\circ}fixed$ light shelf with 75% of reflectivity and width of 300mm and 40mm appeared to consume more energy than other shelves. Therefore, it is analyzed as unsuitable. 3) This research was conducted by calculating appropriate angle of light shelf around winter and summer solstices and vernal/autumnal equinox. Based on this, performance evaluation was undertaken depending on reflectivity of movable light shelf, which is activated by external sources and can be applied with lower reflectivity than fixed shelf. However, one exception was a movable shelf with width of 600mm that increased light energy consumption when 75% of reflectivity was applied. 4) Performance evaluation of fixed and movable light shelf showed that the shelf with 80% of reflectivity came up with suitable results, but 75% of reflectivity may be applied depending on the width and angle of the shelf. This research is meaningful in that estimation of appropriate reflectivity of light shelf can resolve the glare problem and improve light environment, and further research would be desirable under more diverse conditions to identify proper solution.

타원형 및 볼트복합형 스페이스 프레임 구조물의 형상 생성 및 최적화 방안 (Shape Generation and Optimization Technique of Space Frame Structures with Ellipse and Vault Complex Type)

  • 대공간 스페이스 프레임 구조물은 구조물의 목적 및 설계자의 의도와 함께 다양한 형상으로 구성될 수 있으며, 다양한 구조물 형식에 적용될 수 있다. 그러나 이러한 대공간 스페이스 프레임 구조물의 최적의 부재크기나 형상은 구조 엔지니어의 경험과 반복적인 해석 그리고 시행착오적인 방법 때문에 그 결정이 쉽지 않다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 설계자가 구조물의 최적 형상을 선택할 수 있는 방안을 제시하기 위해 먼저 타원형 및 볼트복합형과 같은 다양한 유형의 스페이스 프레임 구조물이 선정되며, 절점, 좌표 및 부재 생성을 위한 형상생성방법이 고려된다. 또한 스페이스 프레임 구조의 최적설계 절차에서 각 절점 좌표는 높이 변화나 링의 개수에 따라 변하게 되므로 최적설계 과정에서 절점파 부재의 자동생성기법이 적용된다. 다음으로 형상생성방법을 기반으로 한 형상생성모듈은 구조물의 최적화 단계에 앞서 설계자가 원하는 형상을 생성해주는 모듈이며, 최적화 단계에서는 해석 모듈과 최적화모듈이 연계된다. 마지막으로 예제 모델을 통해 형상생성방안 및 최적설계 방안의 효율성을 검토한다.

POST-OCCUPANCY EVALUATION (POE) AFTER THE EXPANSION OF AN APARTMENT PARKING LOT

  • Despite the serious lack of parking lots, studies on parking lot expansion are insufficient; research on users' satisfaction following parking lot expansion is practically nonexistent. Therefore, this study sought to provide basic data for the parking lot expansion of old apartments by comparatively analyzing users' satisfaction before and after the parking lot expansion through a questionnaire survey that targeted residents benefiting from the expanded parking lot. Results revealed a low post-occupancy satisfaction with the parking lot expansion despite the parking lot expansion and improvement of the parking lot environment. This was because the parking lot was not expanded up to the second basement floor due to the lack of appropriate parking space. Other factors included the construction cost burden and lack of connectivity of the basement parking lot with elevators. The results actually raise the need for the establishment of an optimally suitable expansion plan and development of method and technology requiring lower cost and shorter construction period in the design and construction processes for parking lot expansion. Through post-occupancy evaluation (POE) after parking lot expansion, this study quantitatively identified the problems associated with the parking lots of old apartments and ensuing expansion effects. The findings in this study can be used as basic data to seek a suitable diagnosis and evaluation method for the parking lots of old apartments.

대학도서관에서의 색채이미지와 감성평가 연구 - H대학교 도서관의 현황조사를 중심으로 - (A Study on Color Images and Emotional Evaluation of Them in University Library - Focusing on the Survey of the Situation of the H University Library -)

  • In the 21st century, university library is changing into a new paradigm. Among others, color image emerges as an important aspect of the library. Up to now, studies on colors of indoor space have been limited on partial and specific spaces. But, this study, using the tool of emotional evaluation, aims to do a comprehensive research on color image of the whole space. This research uses the H University library completed in March 2015. This research is performed in the following procedure. First, previous related researches for the past ten years from 2005 to 2015 is examined, which will help understand the trends in this kind of research, and set up the concrete goal of research. By literature review, color image is established in the environmental psychological aspect. Second, to analyze colors, all the spaces of the library from the entrance lobby are filmed. Filmed images are changed into mosaic, and color palettes are composed, and color values are calculated using the Munsell color system. Third, emotional words are extracted, and emotional evaluation is made. Using the Semantic Differential scale method, emotional differences among subjects are compared, and the validity of the survey data is tested using the statistical program SPSS 18.0. As the outcome of the research shows, the color image and emotion in space are closely related. And, through emotion, it is possible to get color image, and this aspect can be scholastically systemized and developed.

  • In this paper, we develop a design methodology of granular-based neurocomputing networks realized with the aid of the clustering techniques. The objective of this paper is modeling and evaluation of approximation and generalization capability of the Linear-Type Superconducting Power Supply (LTSPS). In contrast with the plethora of existing approaches, here we promote a development strategy in which a topology of the network is predominantly based upon a collection of information granules formed on a basis of available experimental data. The underlying design tool guiding the development of the granular-based neurocomputing networks revolves around the Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) clustering method and the Radial Basis Function (RBF) neural network. In contrast to "standard" Radial Basis Function neural networks, the output neuron of the network exhibits a certain functional nature as its connections are realized as local linear whose location is determined by the membership values of the input space with the aid of FCM clustering. To modeling and evaluation of performance of the linear-type superconducting power supply using the proposed network, we describe a detailed characteristic of the proposed model using a well-known NASA software project data.

임대 아파트 내 커뮤니티시설의 거주 후 평가에 대한 연구 - 2009년 이후 신축된 판교 4개 아파트를 중심으로 - (A Study on Post Occupancy Evaluation about the Community Facilities of a Rental Apartment - Focus on the 4 Apartment Built in Pangyo after 2009 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the method on improving the frequency of use and satisfaction rate of the community facilities and to evaluate relation between improving the frequency of use and satisfaction rate of the community facilities and improving the sense of community in apartments. The research subjects of this study is the four public lease apartments which is built around same period with same design guide. The survey method is a questionnaire survey, a experimental study, focus group interview, an analysing drawing. The result of study is as follows. The first, the frequency of use and satisfaction rate have been effected by the operation management system as well as the physical circumstance. The second, The frequency of use and satisfaction rate of the community facilities have had positive correlation with sense of community. The third, multimedia room and conference room with low usability need to change a multipurpose space such as cafe, classroom for learning on artistic topic with high demand from occupant. Finally, a mindset shift is required for architects to inspire community facilities as an important mediated space improving the sense of community by suggesting spaces for leisure and hobby activities.

고령자거주요소에 대한 거주자의 주관적 평가연구 - 일본치바시근교의 유료노인시설을 대상으로 - (A Study on Residents' Subjective Evaluation of the Elderly Housing Environment in the Suburbs of Chiba City, Japan)

  • The Purpose of this study is to examine residents' subjective satisfaction of the elderly housing environment and to suggest some major factors which can be used as basic design guidelines for the elderly housing. as the number of the elderly is growing in Japan For this purpose. data were collected through a questionnaire survey method, Some questions on their hope for the conditions of the elderly housing were asked to 265 old People living in the suburbs of Chiba city. Japan. Based on the findings of the statistical factor analysis, the major factors which affected on the elderly housing environment of the study can be summarized as follows ;(1)Factor1 is correlated with the space design element represented by the elderly dwelling performance and overall efficiency for the dwelling exterior space design (2)Factor2 is relative to the interior environmental element with Physiological and sensitive performance for borne services system. (3)Factor3 can be explained the moving and communication performance for Physical uneasiness of outdoor activities and request of public cultural spaces. (4)Factor4 is relative to the mental rest element with safety accidents for moving activities etc. and psychological isolation for the elderly.

이산사건 시뮬레이션을 이용한 요양병원 외래부 대기공간 균일성 평가 (Uniformity Evaluation of Elderly Hospital Outpatients' Waiting Space using Discrete Event Simulation)

  • 현대사회의 복잡다기한 문제파악과 분석을 위해 최근들어 다양한 변수를 바탕으로 하는 복잡계 분석의 도입이 활발해 지고 있다. 외래부의 공간배치에 따른 환자들의 공간인지와 사용성을 미리 예측하는 것은 질 높은 병원서비스 제공을 위해 매우 중요한 요소라 할 수 있다. 객관적 분석을 위해 노인의 질환별 표준프로그램 절차 및 분석을 위한 지표를 마련하고 히트맵 분석과 정량적 분석을 통해 대기공간의 균일성을 평가하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 요양병원을 대상으로 복잡계 분석 방법을 이용하여 진료공간 접수공간 상담공간의 배치변화에 따른 4개 대안의 대기공간 균일성을 분석하기 위해 73개의 셀을 설치하여 시뮬레이션을 구축하고 그에 따른 밀도를 도출하였다. 연구를 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 1)대기공간의 전체 공간밀도는 접수공간의 배치가 가장 큰 영향을 미친다. 2)검사공간과 진료공간의 확실한 분리배치가 대기공간의 균일성을 높여주는 방안이다. 3)접수공간의 위치가 입구에서 가까울수록 대기공간의 밀도균일이 커진다. 마지막으로 본 연구는 대기공간 균일성 평가에 이산사건 시뮬레이션의 적용방안에 관한 연구로서, 행위자기반모델이 공간분석 방법론으로서의 활용과 평가에 활용도를 가질 수 있음을 입증하였다.

Preliminary Design and Development Framework of Railway Vehicle Simulator for Engineering Evaluation Analysis

  • The purpose of the present study is to develop conceptual design of a railway vehicle simulator based on a scaled model. Although the scaled simulator is limited in its ability to manipulate the full dynamics of a full-size railway vehicle, it has been known to have an advantage in that it could provide means of testing the fundamental dynamic behavior within a limited laboratory space and at low operation cost. The present study proposes a design strategy for a simulator so that a small scaled roller rig could be fabricated and operated in laboratory setting based on the design philosophy. The data obtained from experimental testing using a scale model can be used to verify and interpret the dynamic performance of full-scale railway vehicle by applying appropriate non-dimensional analysis.
