This study is about the establishment of an information support system which will provide information for activating national nanotechnology R＆D activities and industrialization. Nanotechnology information support system for collecting, processing, analyzing, disseminating and utilizing informations has been established in cooperation with local and foreign academia, research institutes and industries. The information system including cooperative network with academia and industries is aimed to suggest guidelines for information sharing and direction of R＆D activities and industrialization.

Korea Aerospace Research Institute has developed an earth observation satellite whose primary mission objective is to provide high resolution electro optical earth images for Geographical Information Systems (GIS) establishment and the applications for environmental, agriculture and ocean monitoring. It was successfully launched into its mission orbit by using a commercial launch vehicle on 18th of May, 2012. This paper describes a series of launch activity at the launch site including its transportation to the launch site. Before conducting the launch site operation, satellite operation plane was prepared. Combining the satellite operation plan and launch vehicle activities, an integrated launch site operation plan and schedule have been drawn up. After arrival of the spacecraft at the launch site, post-ship check out has been conducted. And then it was fuel loaded and integrated with launch vehicle hardware. After completion of final electrical check out, count down procedure was executed. on 18th of May, it was launched into the space and was separated from the launch vehicle as planned. About 3 months of early operation and calibration/validation, now the satellite is conducting its normal mission.

In this paper, we propose the AI certification standardization activities for systematic research and planning for the standardization of trustworthy artificial intelligence (AI). The activities will be in two-fold. In the stage 1, we investigate the scope and possibility of standardization through AI reliability technology research targeting international standards organizations. And we establish the AI reliability technology standard and AI reliability verification for the feasibility of the AI reliability technology/certification standards. In the stage 2, based on the standard technical specifications established in the previous stage, we establish AI reliability certification program for verification of products, systems and services. Along with the establishment of the AI reliability certification system, a global InterOp (Interoperability test) event, an AI reliability certification international standard meetings and seminars are to be held for the spread of AI reliability certification. Finally, TAIPP (Trustworthy AI Partnership Project) will be established through the participation of relevant standards organizations and industries to overall maintain and develop standards and certification programs to ensure the governance of AI reliability certification standards.

Since its establishment in 1989, Korean Home Economics Education Association has served as the premiere academic organization in the field, through the semiannual meetings, the journal, and other informal activities. The Association has played important roles in organizing the members and guiding the academic community in reacting to the many challenges that Home Economics Education in South Korea had to encounter due to the social and curricular changes. This study reviews the past 20 years' activities of Korean Home Economics Education Association in order to illuminate its accomplishments in terms of academic and non-academic activities. An assessment of the environmental changes was conducted, followed by thorough analyses of the semiannual meetings, informal activities, and the journal. The article is also discussing future tasks that the Association would need to pay attention to and thrive to accomplish in order to continue serving its role of guiding the academic community.

Background: Invasion of these invasive plants in the ecosystem threatens the habitat of endemic species, reduces biodiversity, and causes a disturbance in the ecological system. Hypochaeris radicata L. (Asteraceae), the most invasive plant in Korea, particularly in Jeju Island, invades farmlands, and autochthonous forests, resulting in the establishment of monocultures and modification of the ecosystem structure. Methods and Results: In this study was, we evaluated the biological activity of 70% ethanolic extracts from different parts of Hypochaeris radicata L. The biological activities of 70% ethanolic extracts of different parts, such as flower, leaf, stem, and root, of H. radicata were investigated. The total polyphenol content was highest in flower extracts ($50.82{\pm}3.16mg{\cdot}QE/g$). In addition, the highest flavonoid content was observed in flower extract ($15.19{\pm}2.03mg{\cdot}QE/g$). The flower extract of H. radicata exhibited stronger DPPH radical-scavenging activities, ABTS radical scavenging activities, and reducing power than the other parts. The flower extract of H. radicata was observed to have the highest tyrosinase and ${\alpha}-glucosidase$ inhibitory activities. Conclusions: The flower extracts of H. radicata exhibited remarkable antioxidant activity as well as tyrosinase and ${\alpha}-glucosidase$ inhibitory effects. These activities might be related to the phenolic compounds present in the H. radicata flower extract.

This study investigated the coverage on the settlement of pro-Japanese Koreans by Dongailbo and Chosunilbo during the U.S. Military Government period. 266 related articles of two newspapers searched by 6 keywords were analyzed quantitatively. And the qualitative analysis on the coverage of related issues were supplemented. Generally two newspapers can be evaluated as passive on the pro-Japanese issues. They said that anti-national activities of that time which might be an obstacle to the establishment of independent nation even more critical than the pro-Japanese activities in the past. In addition they suggested to suspend the settlement of pro-Japanese Koreans after the establishment of Korean Government, because the settlement might cause a big confusion and a vacuum of personnel. On some issues the distinction between two newspapers derived from their political orientation were revealed. Dongailbo represented the standpoint of the rightists fully and Chosunilbo revealed relatively balanced coverage.

In recent time, rural-studying programs have emerged as an alternative to promoting exchange between urban and rural areas. The purpose of this research will be to take a look at such exchange activities through the study of cases involving rural areas using its human and material resources. The research will also consider the implications resulting from the possibility of its application in Korea. According to a Japan's rural-studying program, there was a whole family participation and there was cooperation between the school, village and the local government. There are some domestic places that applied this program, but only a few are successfully being implemented. To increase the possibility of successful application, building network systems between rural-studying schools will be vital. So will be the building of critical infrastructure to induce the return to farming and the establishment of assistance institutions. Also, visible assistance towards farms in rural area and conversion of recognition upon exchange activities between urban and rural will be necessary. Legislation of rural-studying program, establishment of local government assistance ordinance and continual education to local inhabitants will be central to the role of central and local government.

A new era with the $4^{th}$ Industrial Revolution certainly brings new opportunities for human to explore human's activities outside of the Earth. After the Apollo program, exploration for lunar resources and establishment of lunar base seem to be in reality. This could be due to new findings by the LCROSS and LRO proving the advanced scientific development and new scientific results about the moon from Asian countries including China with Chang'E missions. It is expected that fossil fuels will be in shortage in the near future and at this time, Helium-3 could be an energy resource as a replacement of the fossil fuels. At present it is well known that countries like Russia, USA, and Europe will continue to investigate on lunar exploration especially with landers toward future human activities on the moon to establish a lunar base. With this point of view, it is important for human to understand lunar resources and prepare for prospective utilization of lunar resources. This review paper considers on a point of view in both lunar resource exploration and establishment of lunar base.

Meantime there has been a tendency to keep silent about the role of Afro-Ibero America Diaspora which contributed to the spirit of independence and the realization of country foundation ideology in the official history of Latin America. In some countries, although the collective resistance of Afro-Ibero America Diaspora, which intended to establish a liberal and equal society resisting against slavery and colonization system, was the foundation of independence and the establishment of a new country, their contribution has been difficult to leave an official trace in Caucasian criollo-centered history system. Along with the development of Hcienda in 17th Century, black slaves' collective resistance was developed mainly with el Virreinato de la Nueva Granada, the center of the Independence movement of Brazil and South America. The black people who escaped resisting against slavery formed communities and developed organized activities through various politics and social activities. However, such communities were mostly dispersed or destroyed by the colonial power, and the collective resistance of Afro-Ibero America Diaspora lost life. On the other side, in case of Colombia, a community of escaped black slaves which was formed in the early 17th Century is solely remaining in Latin America, moreover, Afro-Ibero America Diaspora's struggle for liberty and equality became the foundation for Comuneros revolution and Independence movement in the late 18th Century. Comuneros revolution which occurred in 1781 awoke self-awareness of liberty and equality, and became an ideological base for independence movement based on revolutional republicanism and philosophy of enlightenment. It is considered that South America's independence movement lead by $Sim{\acute{o}}n$ Boívar was a history that could not have started without historical base of Afro-Ibero America Diaspora's resistance against colonization system. Therefore, this study intends to discuss the role and achievement of Afro-Ibero America Diaspora in the process of independence of Latin America mainly with Colombia, which is the center of Independence movement of South America. Through this process, this study intends to revaluate historical contribution of Afro-Ibero America which has been relatively neglected meanwhile in the process of independence and the establishment of country.

This study is to create and develop Korean cartoon & animation through the comparative study on those activities in Korea, America & Japan. Three countries advance highly in the art creation and industry development of their cartoon & animation. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the following activities related to the education ${\cdot}$ art ${\cdot}$ culture ${\cdot}$ industry of their cartoon & animation; 1) The education of their cartoon & animation is deeply specified in the establishment of department, composition of curriculum, and research & development. 2) The art of their cartoon & animation is widely diversified in the art creation of cartoon & comics, vanguard experiment of animation, and awarding system. 3) The culture of their cartoon & animation is clearly distinguished in the setup of organizations, expansion of cultural facilities, and festival events. 4) The industry of their cartoon & animation makes ultramodern contents of cartoon & comics, film digitizing of animation, and brand merchandising of characters. Finally, we must research and develop the ${\ll}$digital cartoon, webtoon, and mobile animation${\gg}$ in Korea.
