Computer is a modern day invention integrated with mathematics, engineering, and logics. The purpose of this study is to examine mathematicians' roles and influences on the invention, establishment, and developments of computers, particularly in the areas of hardware and software, and to emphasize the importance of mathematics on the computer sciences. To implement these purposes, this study firstly examines the mathematicians based on the period. Secondly from the mathematicians' roles in the development of programming, the correlation between mathematics and computers has been investigated. Finally, mathematicians who gave influence on establishing the current development of computer science are highlighted.

Objective: The aim of this paper is to introduce the roles of H&S(Health and Safety) department and its future directions in the shipbuilding industry. Background: It is necessary to improve the level and quality of Safety & Health department. Method: Various documents and performances involving a shipbuilding company have been reviewed to describe the job of the Safety & Health department. Results: The role of the Safety & Health department has increased and developed in recent domestic industry. Conclusion: The status of the Safety & Health department should be improved by introducing of new systems and skills. Application: These results can be used to provide information for establishing a more effective safety and health organization.

Although many local governments are supporting the environment-friendly regional agriculture(hereafter EFRA), the EFRA is not wildly extended since the marketing and consumption of the environment-friendly agricultural products are still limited. This study aims at finding out the new development source of Korean agriculture and strategies for establishing regional agriculture. For these purposes, Sunchon-si cases of EFAP development are introduced and the functions and roles of bodies in charge of regional agriculture are looked over. In order to establish the EFRA, production, processing and consumption needs to be intimately linked all together. As preconditions for developing the EFRA, four points should be satisfied. Firstly, production organizations need to be built and stabilized for developing the EFRA and consumers' organizations and partnership are to be formed. Secondly, the government should support for building consumers' organization. Thirdly, social consensus for developing the EFRA needs to be formed. And finally with the appropriate local and central governmental support the partnership among producers, consumers, and government should be formed.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are endogenous, non-coding, small RNA molecules consisting of 21-24 nucleotides (nts) that regulate target genes at the posttranscriptional level in plants and animals. In plants, miRNAs negatively regulate target mRNAs containing a highly complementary sequence by either mRNA cleavage or translational repression. MiRNAs are processed from single-stranded precursors containing stem-loop structures by a Dicer-like enzyme and are loaded into silencing complexes, where they act on target mRNAs. Although plant miRNAs were first reported in Arabidopsis 10 years later than animal miRNAs, numerous miRNAs have since been identified from various land plants ranging from mosses to flowering plants, and their roles in diverse aspects of plant developmental processes have been characterized. Furthermore, most of the annotated plant miRNAs are evolutionarily conserved in various plants. In particular, recent functional studies using Arabidopsis mutants have contributed a great deal of information towards establishing a framework for understanding miRNA biogenesis and functional roles. Extensive appraisal of miRNA-directed regulation during a wide array of plant development and plant responses to environmental conditions has confirmed the versatile roles of miRNAs as a key component of plant molecular biology.

The purpose of this study is to recommend the roles, Qualification, and fostering system of healthy families specialist. In 2003, 'Organic Law to Develop the healthy Families' was legislated. The law endows the responsibilities and duties of the government, local government, and families, in order to embody the healthy families. Also, this suggests appropriate ways to solve diverse families problems and identifies the necessities of establishing social policies to increase the well-being of family members. The enactment system of this law is to place 'Healthy Families Center' under the Prime Minister, and to foster 'healthy families specialist' who have professional knowledge and skills for strengthen diverse families. The major recommend are as follow. First, the roles of healthy families specialist are a practician, deliverer, and administrator to enact the law's philosophy and ideal. Secondly, to protect the competency of those, the qualification is restricted to university and the same level school graduate people, who majored in Home Economics, Social Work. and Women Studies. Finally. to foster and qualify this specialist. the Council of Healthy Families will be compound.

The evaluation is one of aspects of criticism, and thus it plays many roles in terms of the functions of criticism. The purpose of this study is to examine the evaluating criteria of landscape architectural works. The conclusions of this study are summarized as follows: The essential criterion of the evaluation is 'the originality' with respect to history(or tradition) of landscape architecture. And the sub-criteria of the evaluation can be invented through a frame;[↔ ↔].

최근 전 세계적으로 사이버위협이 일상화되었으며, 그 범위 또한 단순한 개인의 장난과 사이버 범죄 수준을 넘어 대규모 범죄조직과 국가 주체가 개입된 사이버 테러 및 전쟁으로 확대되고 있다. 이러한 흐름 속에서 빠르게 국가차원의 대응 전략을 세우지 않는다면 우리나라도 정보통신 강국에서 사이버보안 취약국의 지위로 순식간에 전락할 것이며, 우리의 발달한 정보통신망은 세계가 부러워하는 4차 산업혁명의 기반시설이 아니라 국민 생활에 큰 위협을 가져오는 공격의 매개체가 될 것이다. 국가적 차원에서의 사이버 보안은 민 관 군 등 다양한 주체들이 참여하여 다양한 분야의 위협정보를 신속히 공유하고 사고 예방을 위한 대비책을 마련하며 유사 시 유기적으로 대응할 수 있을 때 보장될 수 있다. 이러한 점에서 각 부처, 각 주체들의 역할과 책임, 권한이 명확하게 부여되어야 하며, 이를 관리 조율하며 소통할 수 있는 체제를 구축하기 위한 효과적인 국가 사이버보안 거버넌스의 수립이 요구된다. 이에 본 연구는 실용적이고 효율적인 차세대 국가 사이버보안 거버넌스의 정립을 위해 최근 국가 사이버보안 전략을 발표하여 사이버보안 거버넌스 체계를 신속히 정비해나가고 있는 미국, 독일, 영국, 일본, 중국 그리고 한국의 사이버보안 전략, 법령, 조직 및 추진 부처별 역할에 대한 분석을 실시한다. 특히 실질적인 거버넌스 구성을 파악하기 위해 국가의 주요 사이버보안 기능 분류 기준을 제안하고, 해당 분류 기준에 따라 국가 사이버보안 기능별 담당기관과 수행 전략을 분석한다. 본 연구는 해당 분석 결과를 바탕으로 국내 사이버보안 거버넌스 개선을 위한 시사점과 개선 방향을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to determine the status of dental hygienists in Japan. The study explicated the history, core curriculum, National Examination for Dental Hygienists, work roles of dental hygienists, and workplaces of dental hygienists. This study was based on the government policy report on dental hygienists and the information published by each public institution. The latest statistics presented by the institutions were collected through official websites. The employment information of graduates from Hiroshima University was analyzed based on actual field study. The results of the study revealed that social demand for dental hygienists has steadily increased and policies and education have been revised accordingly. The work roles of dental hygienists have expanded to meet the needs of the treatment and those of public health fields. In line with major policy changes, the educational period has been extended from 1 year to 3 or 4 years, while the mandatory credits for graduation have been established. Licensing examinations were being performed by the local governments since 1948 due to the different situations of dental hygienists in different areas. In 1992, they were converted into a single national examination. The work roles have expanded from assisting dental treatments to health guidance, home care, and perioperative care. Consequently, the number of dental hygienists has increased, especially in healthcare facilities for the elderly. Dental hygienists perform various roles. However, the most essential role is to provide the best oral care services to the patient. The expected role of dental hygienists has expanded in alignment with public healthcare needs and support for the elderly. The government and universities are expected to bring about improvements such as diversifying the channels of education and establishing policies to respond to growing patient needs by cultivating excellent dental hygiene professionals.

본 논문은 R-learning의 연장선에서 교육 환경 내의 소셜 로봇 도입과 함께 소셜 로봇의 역할에 대해 제안한다. 소셜 로봇은 개체 특히, 인간과의 소통과 상호작용을 목적으로 하는 로봇이다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 교육 환경에서 활용되었던 로봇의 역할은 물론, 소셜 로봇의 목적에 걸맞게 교육 환경 구성원과의 상호작용과 소통을 수행하는 역할을 제안한다. 이에 대한 설명을 돕기 위해 소셜 로봇 jibo의 SDK를 활용하여 간략한 가상 시나리오를 구현하여 예시로 보인다. 시나리오는 교육적 환경에서 이용자와의 가벼운 상호작용을 목적으로 제작되었으며, jibo SDK에서 jibo의 외적 반응을 제어하는 animation 파트와 내적인 반응을 제어하는 behaviors 파트를 활용하여 제작되었다. 교육 환경 내의 투입된 소셜 로봇은 구성원과의 상호작용 및 소통과 접목된 여러 기술들을 기반으로 환경 내의 데이터를 보다 효율적으로 수집한다. 결과적으로 이를 통해 교육 환경에 대한 데이터와 정보를 제공받아 교육환경 내의 문제점의 도출, 환경 자체의 발전 및 새로운 교육 환경의 설립에 긍정적 영향을 끼칠 수 있다.

In this paper, we examine the roles, mutual relationships, and guidelines for a healthy life as exemplified by the characters Santiago and Manolin in Ernest Hemingway's novel "The Old Man and the Sea" and use this content to compare the happy home life of elderly couples in Korea. Through a metaphorical exploration of the lives of elderly husbands and wives in Korean society, the study examines their significance as the core of the family, particularly during their senior years. Ernest Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea" portrays Santiago as a unique embodiment of virtue and humanity. As an elderly male fisherman, he symbolizes a profound connection with the sea, as well as qualities such as courage, patience, and unwavering passion. His story underscores the importance of pursuing new goals and maintaining hope even in old age. The relationship between Santiago and Manolin provides insights into the dynamics of elderly husbands and wives in their domestic lives. Manolin's unwavering support for Santiago and his understanding of Santiago's dreams exemplify the significance of mutual support and the establishment of common goals for elderly couples. These characters serve as exemplary models for understanding and supporting one another within a family setting. Within the context of family life, applying these exemplary models and relationship dynamics fosters mutual respect, collaboration, emotional expression, and effective communication. Supporting each other and working towards common goals can enhance the family atmosphere, resolve conflicts, and enrich domestic life. Furthermore, when elderly couples share common goals and enjoy activities together, they strengthen their bond and create a more fulfilling family life. These shared activities deepen the affection between elderly husbands and wives and contribute to a thriving household. Through the characters of Santiago and Manolin in "The Old Man and the Sea," we present in this study a deeper understanding of the values and roles within the domestic lives and affection of elderly husbands and wives. Mutual respect, collaboration, emotional expression, communication, mutual support, common goals, hope, and shared domestic activities all play pivotal roles in maintaining a healthy family life and establishing happiness and well-being within the family. We expect this study to offer valuable insights into the fields of family studies, elderly welfare, and sociology.
