국내 항공기 소음 평가방법에 관한 실험적 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation Method of Aircraft Noise)

  • Currently domestic criteria for the aircraft noise is being adapted WECPNL(weighted equivalent continuous perceived noise level), while internationally preferred method is $L_{dn}$ which is based on from $L_{eq}$ and can also evaluate environmental noise. WECPNL used in domestic as an evaluation metric is only for the aircraft noise. It is, therefore, not adequate for the evaluation of residents' injury, moreover, it is very difficult to measure the aircraft noise by WECPNL due to the complicated calculating procedures as long as automatic measuring system is not used. Accordingly, this study aims to propose alternative evaluation metric for the aircraft noise. To achieve this purpose, WECPNL, $L_{eq}$, $L_{dn}$, other metrics and criteria were compared and analyzed.

  • The environmental pollution by noise is recognized by the pollution source made it not only to carry out harm of the Quality of a life of people seriously in most countries, but was generated for most actual problems. The measure to such environmental noise must conduct first investigation which noise generating currently regarded as questionable says in what grade has resulted and the suitable measure by that is studied. The concern of the residents who demand such a comfortable living environment is increasing rapidly. Therefore, the three areas of Jeollabuk-Do judged that noise is comparatively severe was selected. It is going to grasp delicately the noise actual condition of a residential, semi-residential, commercial, industrial area.

  • This study performed an physical analysis on the characteristics of urban environmental sound divided into three parts depending on their features. Object sounds were classified into traffic sound, waster sound and spatial sound. Traffice sound was selected because it is dominant sound in urban environment, and water sound is selected because it generally supplies pleasantness in contrast to traffic sound, Finally spatial sound was considered because it represents sound in various places of city having lots of behaviors and types of sound due to them. Physcal analysis was carried out using sound quality indices based on Zwicker's loudness, $L_{Aeq}$(equivalent noise level), Ln(percentile noise level) and other acoutical attributes applied to previous study. Through the analysis, this study aims to compare the acoustical characteristics of urban environmental sound and to provide fundamental data for the evaluation of urban environmental sound.

  • As is widely known, SPL measurement using sound level meter (SLM) is limited to higher than 30 dBA, because of the self-noise n(x) of condenser microphone (CM). The authors confirmed n(x) is composed of 3 kinds, each of which is stable enough under the condition -20 ~ +50 deg C to eliminate the influence of n(x) by subtracting its energy from the squared input signal in the integration process, as well as to develop new type of SLM with ultra-low SPL measuring function. This is so-called "0-dB SLM" since it enables to measure SPL down to around 0 dB-SPL. The RMS of n(x) is acquired and stored in ROM in advance, by placing CM in the supersilent space or by using dummy microphone with equivalent capacitance before the actual measurements.

  • The A-weighting curve, very well explain the human perception for various frequency, is used to assess the traffic noise as well as the environmental noise. However, it does not reflect the annoyance perception appropriately because it assesses the noise at an A-weighted equivalent noise level of 1 kHz. In this study, we acquired the sound quality of traffic noise included various frequency and studied the human perception caused by change of frequency range.

  • 산업 현장에서 발생하는 소음은 작업자의 건강과 작업 효율에도 영향을 줄 뿐 아니라, 주변의 주거지역의 소음 민원의 원인이 된다. 본 논문에서는 중소규모 공장에서 많이 사용되는 송풍기에서 발생하는 소음을 3차원 공간에서 능동소음제어기(ANC)를 이용하여 저감하는 기술 개발을 위한 기초 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위해 ANC의 설정과 결과 데이터를 용이하게 파악할 수 있는 시뮬레이터 프로그램을 Labview를 이용하여 작성하여 음압레벨, 스펙트럼, 등가소음도 등의 데이터를 비교하였다. 소음 데이터는 현재 중소규모 공장에서 운전 중인 터보팬 송풍기에서 발생하는 소음을 기기 주변 17개의 위치에서 녹음하여 사용하였다. 모의실험 결과 17 지점 모두 500Hz 이하 저주파 대역에서 파워 스펙트럼이 최대 40dB 줄었으며 등가소음레벨이 평균 12.6dB 감쇄되는 결과를 보였다.

  • Consumer's product selection measures are being shifted from the units' operational performance to overall performance. Low noise, low vibration, and low power consumption rate, etc. which used to be additional quality indices, now become vital performance factors. Especially, noise and vibration characteristics are being considered as equivalent to/or even more critical than operational performance in certain products such as office machines and home entertainment systems, which share the same space with human being's daily life. Therefore, noise reduction and sound quality improvement technology becomes an inevitable design issue for those applications. Qualitative noise characteristics of rotating polygonal disk applied to digital printer systems are presented. Overall sound pressure level change and tonal noise variation with respect to the geometrical properties of polygonal disk, operational speed, and others are briefly discussed based on experimental results.

  • This paper investigates impulsive noise from a pole transformer in low voltage distribution system for power line communication. EMI noise from the pole transformer is indicated from the experiment. The noise has certain characteristics because it is caused by partial discharge. The noise level is above -35dBm without a filter. Therefore, the filter which is made of ferrite is used in order to eliminate the noise. the noise filters should be applied to both the phase line and the neutral line. Otherwise, It is likely to have little overall impact on elimination of noises. the performance of filter is verified with various experiments. In conclusion, the equivalent circuit of power line communication including noise source is described as a lumped circuit.
