Equivalent Circuit Design of 2.4 GHz Band LTCC Bandpass Filters Using Multilayer Inter-Digital Resonators (적층 Inter-Digital 공진기를 이용한 2.4 GHz 대역 LTCC 대역통과 여파기의 등가회로 설계)

  • LTCC filters have been widely used to wireless terminals. They generally adopt the multilayer structure. Some of multilayer LTCC filters are made of symmetrical parallel-coupled lines and anti-symmetrical parallel-coupled lines to reduce the length of resonators. The equivalent circuit of parallel-coupled lines was analyzed and applied to bandpass filters using multilayer parallel-coupled line resonators. The three-pole bandpass filter with the center frequency of 2.45 GHz is designed by using the proposed equivalent circuit and the measured results have good agreement with the design results.

  • This paper investigates the equivalent circuit analysis method for the multi-functional device in mobile telephones, which works both as a buzzer and a vibrator in a single unit form. With a representative multi-functional device, we construct the corresponding equivalent circuits for the buzzer mode and the vibrator mode of the device, respectively, and analyze the performance of each of the modes. For proper construction of the circuit, we analyze the structure and operation mechanism of the device, and develop a computer simulation tool to simulate the behavior of the device. Validity of the analysis method is verified through comparison of the analysis results with experimental measurement results, which shows good agreement between the two sets of data.

  • Using transmission-line equivalent circuit based on cross-field model for an interdigital acoustic wave transducer, an efficient simulation technique of SAW filters by SPICE is proposed. Propagation of surface acoustic wave is modeled as transmission line so that frequency-dependent circuit elements are not needed in the equivalent circuit of an interdigital transducer. Because the equivalent circuits for frequency-dependent circuit elements are not derived approximately, and a small number of circuit elements are used in the equivalent circuit for filters, simulation time is much reduced. The utility of the proposed technique is demonstrated through simulation for the characteristics of SAW filters such as insertion loss, input admittance, passband ripple, and harmonic frequency response.

  • To analyze the transient state of an induction motor, there have been studies for using the magnetic equivalent circuit method (MECM) instead of the time differential finite-element method, MECM which analyzes magnetic equivalent circuits after converting each part of an electric machine into the magnetic circuit elements. has the merits of short calculation-time and comparatively accurate results. To analyze an electric machine with MECM, we have to replace stator and rotor with the magnetic elements and express the air gap, where electromechanical energy conversion takes place, with the permeance. So in this paper, to analyze an Induction Motor with MECM, we express the magnetic equivalent circuit as algebraic equations and then as the matrix for solving easily them.

  • Chua's circuit is a simple electronic network which exhibits a variety of bifurcation and attractors. The circuit consists of two capacitors, an inductor, a linear resistor, and a nonlinear resistor. In this paper, a transmitter and a receiver using two identical Chua's circuits are proposed and synchronizations and secure communication of a lossy equivalent transmission are investigated. Since the synchronization of the lossy equivalent transmission system is impossible by coupled synchronization, theory having both the drive-response and the coupled synchronization is proposed. The proposed method is synthesizing the desired information with the chaos circuit by adding the information signal to the chaos signal in the lossy equivalent transmission system.

  • A new system for logic optimization at gate-level is proposed in this paper. Ths system is rule-based, i which the rules represent the local trnsformation replacing a portion of circuits with the simplified equivalent circuits. In this system, 'rule generalization' and 'local optimization' are proposed for effective pattern matching. Rule generalization is used to reduce the circuit-search for pattern matching, and local optimization, to exclude unnecessary circuit-search. In additionk, in order to reduce unnecessary trial of pattern matching, the matching order of circuit patern is included in the rule descriptions. The effectiveness of this system is shown by its application ot the circuits which are generated by a hardware compiler.

  • In this paper the method of constructing short and open stable voltage inversion negative immittance converter (VNIC) circuits is proposed according to simplified equivalent models witch consist of a parameter control circuit, and a voltage or a current control circuit. VNIC characteristics can be obtained as gate voltage of common gate connection is controlled by the output of the parameter control circuit corresponding to its input. Constructed circuits are analysed, and the experimental results are compared and cheeked with the calculated results. Errors are found less than 11%. Oscillation behavior of constructed VNIC oscillator is compared with that of negative resistance oscillator.

  • In this paper, we formed a transmitter and receiver by using three identical Chuas circuits and then formed wire and wireless transmission line from the channel which was between those three circuits. We proposed a secure communication method in which the desired information signal was synthesized with the chaos signal created in a Chuas circuit and sent to the transmitter through channel. Then the signal was demodulated receiver of Chuas circuit. The method we used to accomplish the secure communication was synthesizing the desired information with the chaos circuit by parallel connection in a wireless transmission line. After transmitting the synthesized signal to the wire and wireless transmission line, we confirmed the actuality of the secure communication by separating the information signal and the chaos signal in the receiver.

  • In this paper, we have proposed a demodulation circuit of radio data receiver system and calculated the error probability of the digital transmitted signal corrupted under noise environment. And we have evaluated the error performance of the proposed system. The designed demodulation circuits have been implemented by using the general random logic and PLL circuits, which can be possible for the integrated circuit design of the radio data receiver system. In addition calculation of bit error rate in recovered digital signal has been accomplished ans we have confirmed that the proposed system hsa the equivalent performance with already existing ones.
