우리나라의 GIS 구축을 육상과 해상으로 나누어 볼 때 육상부분은 국가지리정보체계사업에 의해 대도 심지 중심으로 거의 구축이 완료된 상태이다. 그러나. 해상부분에 있어서의 GIS 구축은 해양수산부가 중심이 되어 구축중이나 아직 지리정보와 속성정보의 정의와 초기구축단계에 있는 실정이다. 지리정보체계는 보다 효율적인 활용방안을 위해 GPS 항법 및 위치추적시스템과 연결되어 그 파급효과를 극대화시키는 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있다. GPS는 정확도면을 기준으로 볼 때 항법용과 정밀측량용으로 나누어진다. 현재는 GPS 기술이 상당히 발전하여 저가격의 정밀측량용 GPS 장비가 소개되고 있지만, 아직은 그 비용 면에서 사용자가 원하는 정도의 저 가격은 되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서, 자동차나 선박항해를 위해 사용되는 GPS 장비는 저가격의 항법용 GPS 장비가 현재 많이 사용되고 있다. 본 연구는 항법용의 저가격의 GPS 장비를 이용하여 해양부분에 있어서 정밀선박항법 및 위치추적시스템으로 활용하기 위해 측지학적인 좌표해석을 기본으로 한 선박항법시스템을 구축하는 것이다. 또한, 본 연구를 통하여 각각의 선박항법과 더불어 관리국에서 많은 선박을 관리하기 위한 인터넷 GIS 구축에 대한 필요성을 제시하고자 한다.

In Korea Telecom, many synchronous optical transmission equipments and its operating terminal (PC) have been operated. However, many equipment operators have requested various supplementary functions such as self-monitoring and taking statistical information. This system has tried to solve the above problems, and therefore to establish centralized monitoring system on synchronous transmission equipments based on telephone office unit.

The information system for measuring and analyzing service quality of telephone network is designed on the service quality scheme recommended by ITU(International Telecommunication Union) in this study. The information system is composed of the equipments which measure service quality and the systems which analyze the measured data. The schedule algorithm for effectively operating measurement equipments which are located over public switched telephone network is proposed. The functions of the Information system are Introduced. The information system improves the service quality effectively.

In the present study, the variation of settlement, pore water pressure and undrained shear strength through model tests were measured. Also, the variation of water content, unit weight and shear strength by the vane shear tests were observed. In this study, appropriate deposit time of construction equipments used in treatment of hydraulic fills is determined from the prediction curve of increased shear strength in dredged fills.

Since 1989, when the first European noise regulation against construction equipments came into force, much investigation had been devoted to reduce the noise and had produced the remarkable improvement in noise reduction technology. EU Directive 2000/14/EC Stage 2, more stringent noise regulation, is going to be implemented from Jan. 2006. The technology trends and examples for noise reduction in typical construction equipment R&D is described briefly.

With the improvement of living quality, people's desire for quiet living environment keeps increasing. In particular, complaints about the noise emission by constrcution equipments around residential areas take most part of the noise related complaints. In this study, based on the European Directive/20n/14/EC, noise marking obligation system for the high noise construction equipment of Europe has been reviewed to implement the similar system in Korea.

JP Nagoya. Inc started special work(passenger order} to transmit information to the passenger from 2001 following the eastern area' heavy rain in 2000. They introduced 'Passenger Information System' which uses self communication network(LAN, PHS) mainly and wire/wireless and internet jointly. As an information transmission method of this system, there is "train information transmission using PHS" which transmits info to LED display in special train. This system configured by adding new equipments and using existing equipments, network in maximum, this study reviewed the system, which transmits real time operation condition unified by these passenger order to passenger in high quality, more promptly.

Most of marine casualties are caused by not only wrong operation of equipments but also lack of knowledge about navigational equipments or systems. But we can say these casualties result from lack of ship handling skill or lack of situational awareness. This study aims to investigate the recent status of SHS and suggest several recommendations such as teaching skills, evaluation skill, etc. to make more efficient crew training with SHS (ship handling simulator).

The quality and performance of electronic parts and equipment are affected by various types of stresses. Thermal stress caused by changes in the ambient usage environment and mechanical stress from vibration shock during transportation can degrade both quality and performance. This paper gives an overview about recent researches for measuring market environmental conditions of electronic equipments.

The railway signaling systems are computerized vital equipments for safety guarantee of train running. And also it is important to prepare the reliable communication link between signalling equipments. In this paper the review of network technology for railway signalling is presented and reliable network technology for network is represented. And also the direction for our further study on these is discussed.
