  • SMD Equipment convey an electronic parts at high speed, then assemble parts into a circuit board, and it develop a long time-duration dynamic force to be caused by moving mass. Vibration problem to be caused by SMD Equipment have an effect on micro-meter level's precision production process, directly, and dynamic stability of building. In the cause of quantitatively access about its vibration problem, input information(or data) of structure dynamic analysis need accuracy information of dynamic load. Determination of Dynamic load is various kinds of method using experimental and theory. In this paper, we got dynamic load using direct measurement method. We expect that an study on the dynamic load characteristic of SMD can be used to Equipment development of low level vibration and basis information of structure dynamic analysis.

  • With the recent development of intelligence and automation technologies for construction machinery, the demand for safety and efficiency of road-cutting operations has continued to increase. In response to this, a double-blade road cutter has been developed that can automatically cut roads. However, a double-blade road cutter has a load difference between the two blades due to the ground and wear conditions of the cutting blades. The difference in load between the two blades distorts the direction of travel of the cutter. In this study, a vision sensor-based driving guide technology was developed to correct the driving path of road cutters. In addition, we developed a load-sensing technology that detects blade loads in real-time and controls driving speed in the event of overload.

  • 본 논문은 기계시스템의 하중추정 기법 및 적용사례 소개가 목적이다. 이를 위해 진동기반 하중추정 기법의 이론적 배경 및 하중정량화 절차를 구체적으로 설명하였다. 또한 충격하중 및 진동이 발생하는 천공장비에 적용하여 진동기반 하중추정 기법의 적용성과 한계점을 분석하고 이에 대한 대응책에 대해 논의하였다. 마지막으로, 하중추정 기술의 추가 연구의 필요성을 토의하고, 새로운 충격하중 측정기술 개발을 위한 방법론을 제안하였다.

  • The basic factors determining the amount of energy used in hospital buildings are weather conditions and building factors. But the real energy consumer is central plant equipment such as boilers and chillers that produce thermal energy for heating and cooling. Inaccurate decision of the primary equipment's size can cause a high initial-cost, an excessive equipment space, a wasted energy by low operation-efficiency and shortening of the machine's life. In this reason, the decision of optimal size for central plant equipment is very important. There are several factors for the decision such as an operation factor, a factor (equipment factor), piping losses and a simultaneous usage factor applied in the sizing process except a basic cooling load. But there is no standard method for applying those factors. Usually, factors are applied individually by an experience or custom of each engineer. In this study, the authors emphasize the meaning and the problem of those factors, examine them by analyzing factors which were applied to actual practices, and propose the recommendation value of safety, load, operation factors and application methods.

  • 선박이 부두에 안전하게 계류 및 예인하기 위해서는 관련 국제규정에 부합하는 설계를 해야 한다. 그러나 현재까지도 일부 소형 조선소 및 설계 회사에서는 그 내용을 정확히 숙지하지 못하고 있는 경우가 많다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 예인 및 계류설비에 관한 국제규정을 살펴보고, 최신 발효된 MEG4(Mooring equipment guideline 4) 기준에 만족하는 대표적인 계류 의장품인 볼라드(Bollard)와 쵸크(Chock)를 개발하고자 한다. 볼라드는 계류 밧줄을 선체에 고박하기 위한 의장품이며, 일반적으로 2개의 기둥으로, 대부분은 8자 매듭 형태로 사용하고 있다. 쵸크는 선외에서 선내로 들어오는 계류 밧줄의 방향을 전환하고, 밧줄의 손상을 방지하기 위하여 곡률을 갖는 주물방식으로 제작한다. 이 두 가지 계류 의장품은 선박의 선수와 선미, 중앙부 측면에서 많이 사용되고 있다. 최근 컨테이너선 및 LNG 운반선의 크기 증가로 인하여, 계류 밧줄 하중이 증가하고 있으며, 계류 의장품도 안전사용하중(Safe working load)이 변경되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 유한요소해석 모델링을 통한 허용응력 평가법 결과를 정리하고, 분석하였다. 추가적으로 비선형 붕괴 거동 평가를 통하여, 안전사용하중 결정에 대한 검증을 수행하였고, 탄성영역 내 설계가 되었음을 확인하였다. 연구에서 제안하는 평가법 및 기준, 그리고 해석절차는 향후 유사 의장품 개발 시 참조가 가능하다.

승용차용 전장시험 자동화 시스템 설계 (Design of an Automatic Test System for Electronic Equipments in Vehicles)

  • The performance analysis of an electronic equipment test is very complicate due to the variety o vehicles. In this study, automatic design system for the electronic equipment test has been carried out using the standard load patterns. For the test, standard signal patterns for each item are modeled. The test items can be decided by the user by means of these patterns. Also, engineering software modules are developed and proved to be very efficient for analyzing the test results statistically. Experiments are performed for the test system in the vehicle assembly line. By analyzing the test results, it is found that bad samples can be detected without failure. Also, the engineering software modules provide an analytical tool for the automation of the test process.

  • The cooling of data centers has emerged as a significant challenge as the density of IT equipment increased. With the rapid increasing of heat load and cooling system, predictions for electronics power trends have been closely watched. A data center power density projection is needed so that IT organizations can develop data centers with adequate cooling for reasonable lifetimes. This paper will discuss the need for something more than processor and equipment power trend projections which have overestimated the required infrastructure for customers. This projection will use data from a survey of actual enterprise data centers and the ASHRAE projections to formulate a data center server heat load trend projection.

  • In this study, a new adhesion evaluating equipment and data processing methods were developed to overcome some limitations of existing evaluating equipment. Nano-diamond coated tool is a specimen of experiment. When applying frictional force and shear force on the specimen by a rotating polishing pad, delamination occurs at a moment. During each experiment, the vibration, load, and torque is obtained by accelerometer, loadcell and torque s+ kpensor. Frictional force and coefficient of friction are obtained by calculating torque and load. Based on FFT transformation, acceleration is processed and analyzed. As a result, the moment of delamination and the load at that time can be detected by the new developed equipment and measurement system. Finally, we call this load as an Adhesion force.

  • Earthwork is an essential initial work discipline in construction projects and open to significant impacts of several factors such as weather, site conditions, soil conditions, underground installations and available construction machinery, calling for careful planning by managers. However, selection and combination of construction machinery and equipment for earthwork still depends on experience or intuition of managers in construction sites, with much room left for proper management in terms of cost, schedule and environmental load control. This research aims to analyze the performance of earthwork equipment and establish relations among various factors affecting a model for optimizing selection and combination of earthwork equipment as a precursor to the development of such model. We expect the conclusions herein to contribute to optimizing selection and combination of earthwork equipment and provide basic inputs for the development of applicable model that can save costs, reduce schedule and mitigate environmental load.

철도적용에서 구동장치의 피로강도에 관한 시험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Fatigue Strength of a Running Equipment in Railway Applications)

  • The truck that is used as running equipment for tank freight car support is a core structural part that supports the load of the car body and significantly influences the safety of freights and vehicles, as well as their running performance. Running equipment is composed of truck frames, wheels and wheel axles, independent suspensions, and brakes. Among these components, the truck frame supporting the load of the vehicles and freights may be the most important component. This study was carried out to analyze the structure of truck frames and to determine whether they are safe when the maximum vertical load, braking part load, and the front and rear load are applied to truck frames. This was achieved by subjecting the truck frames to stress tests and then measuring the stress on each part. The results of the stress tests showed that truck frames have a safe vehicle load design.
