  • This paper in order to reduce the electric disaster damage which is caused by with electric equipment of traditional market developed the electric safety monitoring system which is suitable in traditional market. With for this did the actual condition investigation about electrical equipment of traditional market and we constructed Test-bed for testing reliability of electric safety monitoring system. Also experiment led in Test-bed and confirmed a stability. This paper following will be used with the data for the reliability security of the electric safe system operation which follows in the traditional market actual proof equipment construction which will be advanced.

  • Nowadays new water supply projects have been on the decline as the water-power constructions have saturated, which means that the existing power equipment have slowly aged and they require more efforts to maintain the system performance. An effective asset management method of power equipment has become a great necessity from both economical and technical aspects. To be balanced, the asset management should look into all three parts: management, engineering, and information. The purpose of this paper is to study a Risk-Based Maintenance (RBM) matrix method through the deterioration evaluation algorithm for an efficient reliability assessment of oil-immersed power transformers by considering both asset management and technical evaluation. Make use of this result, the equipment will be decided to be replace or repair otherwise on service.

  • The remote handling and maintenance devices in the nuclear hot ceil should be checked prior to the hot operation in view of reliability and operability. In this study, the digital mock-up is implemented to analyze and define the process equipment maintenance processes instead of real mock-up, which is very expensive and time consuming. To do this, the parts of equipment and maintenance devices are modeled in 3-D graphics, assembled, and kinematics is assigned. Also, the virtual workcell of the spent fuel management process is implemented in the graphical environment which is the same as the real environment. This simulator has the several functions for verification such as analyses for the manipulator's working area, the collision detection, the path planning and graphic simulation of the processes etc. This graphic simulator of the maintenance devices can be effectively used in designing of the maintenance processes for the hot cell equipment and enhance the reliability of the spent fuel management.

  • A few years ago, The trains had little control equipment so the trains had little data transmission between control equipment. Recently, there is a lot of control equipment in a train as traction control, air conditioners and even internet access. for this reason, vehicle network must allow for the big amount of transmission data and must ensure the high reliability. In this paper we present monitering system for verify high reliability of data transmission of MVB of TCN which is an international standard of IEC 61375.

A Study on the Software Standardization and Simulator Design for Efficient Reliability Test in Combat System

  • In this paper, we propose the standardization architecture and weapon-sensor simulator for efficient reliability test in combat system. To reduce man-month of reliability test, application with high dependency on other module is selected and apply FORM. The proposed standardization architecture extracts common, variable elements and design patterns, S.O.L.I.D principles were applied. The proposed weapon-sensor simulator implements essential functions by identifying highly dependent element of other modules and the information from equipment can be directly received without processing by using communication middleware. As a result, it can replace actual ship-mounted equipment. In addition, it is possible to reduce the consumption rate of human resources when perform reliability test and modification time can be shorted.

  • Purpose: This study was performed for advancement of aviation security equipments certification system. Methods: We investigated aviation security equipments certification-related registrations and the latest research trends of explosive detection technologies. Based on the literature studies, we draw the critical issues of the aviation security equipment certification system and suggested improvement direction. Results: We found some inaccuracies of the definition of explosive trace detection equipments, accreditation review committee, and performance evaluation test method. These problems should be modified to suit being practical. Conclusion: The present results would be useful for basic data for modifying aviation security equipments certification systems.

  • Zigbee wireless communication technology has features which are low cost, low power and coping ability against a high delay time when the automatic wireless system is manufactured. Therefore, in this paper, we research a method improving the data transmission reliability of the industrial equipment control and management system using zigbee wireless communication technology. we used a convolutional code with code rate R=1/2, constraint K=5 and generation polynomial constant g1=(10111) and g2=(10011) as a reliability method. From the transmission simulation at LOS environment, we are able to predict the transmission error performance according to the distance difference. Furthermore, At the PER performance analysis, we can get the result that this system reliability with convolutional code is improved about 5 times than the existing system. From these results, we can prove that the convolutional code is the solution to improve the system reliability of the industrial equipment control and management system using zigbee wireless communication technology.

  • The safety of staff, customers and of general Public in general viewed as one of the most important requirements in the urban transit. The maintenance computerization system for car of urban transit is a part of standardization and development of urban transit system, and We have been performed the establishment of maintenance computerization system from 2001 to 2005. The RAMS(reliability, availability, maintainability and safety) estimation for maintenance computerization system are utilized in a variety of computerization system for user's convenience and safety in maintenance. Ever since its inception though, the urban transit has searched for ways to improve reliability, availability, maintainability and safety of the railway subsystem. Provision of a reliable maintenance system include RAMS of the vehicles plays a very important role in achieving a safe system.

  • This study has focused on the reliability evaluation of FCT inspection automation equipment for electric rice. To evaluate the reliability of FCT inspection automation equipment, voice analysis, Gray/R/G/B channel experiment, FND segment experiment, and robot position repeatability were performed. In the voice analysis experiment, the comparison value between the recorded and digital output waves was over 99%, indicating a very high result. It was confirmed that both the gray/R/G/B experiment using vision and the FND segment could confirm the output value of the product through vision. The position repeatability of the robot is also excellent, so it is concluded that the inspection effect through the FCT automation system will be excellent.

  • The level of reliability attained largely depends upon the investment in reliability growth programs during development phase. In order to find the relationship between reliability growth test time and BRTE(basic reliability tasks effectiveness) in a reliability improvement program that minimizes LCC in which contains the reliability growth cost, repair and replacement costs, and spare parts ordering costs in service with given service rate in management policy, the growth rate has been suggested proper LCC versus growth rate. This model employs the reliability growth projection with delayed fixes in avionic equipment based on AMSAA.
