본 연구는 나눔 경제가 최근 사회적 기업과 협동조합 등 다양한 형태로 운영되고 있는 현상에 주목하여 우리나라에서 나눔 경제를 실천하고 있는 사례를 소개하고 지속가능한 실천공동체로서의 방향을 제시하는데 있다. 이를 위해 문헌을 토대로 나눔 경제의 합리성을 고찰하고 연구동향을 파악하였다. 또한 나눔 경제로 운영하고 있는 기업 중 성심당과 서광사 사례의 특징을 분석하였다. 최근 경제적 불평등이 심화되는 한국 경제에서 새로운 경제적 패러다임의 제시가 필요한 상황에서 본 연구는 EoC의 주요가치를 이해하고 EoC 관련 연구사례와 가치를 추구하는 실천공동체 기업인 성심당과 서광사의 사례를 탐구함으로써 새로운 경제 관점을 제시하고자 하였다. 본 연구결과 4차 산업혁명시대에 주고 나누는 실천을 통해 모두를 위한 인간중심의 윤리적 기업가 정신은 어느 때 보다 중요하며 이러한 실천 정신을 통해 지속가능한 사람중심의 실천공동체로서 기업이 권한을 갖게 되는 새로운 패러다임을 제시하는데 큰 역할을 할 것으로 기대한다.

역상 HPLC에 의한 polysorbate 20, polysorbate 40, polysorbate 60, polysorbate 80의 ethylene oxide(EO)분리 및 간편하고 빠른 정량분석 방법을 개발하였다. 분석조건으로 분리관은 YMC Pack Ph ($250mm{\times}4.6mm$ i.d., $5{\mu}m$) 과 Phenomenex C4 ($250mm{\times}4.6mm$ i.d., $5{\mu}m$)을 사용하였고, 검출기는 ELSD를 사용하였으며, 이동상은 water/acetonitrile의 기울기 용리에 의해 분석되었다. 이때 검량선의 상관계수($r^2$)는 $180.2{\sim}980.5{\mu}g/mL$ 농도 범위에서 0.997이상 이었고, 검출한계, 정밀성이 우수하였다. 이 방법은 olysorbates의 산화에틸렌 분리분석 및 간편하고 빠르게 정량분석 가능함을 보여 주었다.

Gibbs' adsorption isotherms을 이용하여, 계면에서 보조계면활성제 분자의 분자 면적과 계면장력거동에 미치는 ethylene oxide(EO)와 propylene oxide(PO)의 영향을 조사하였다. 일반식 $C_4H_9O(EO)m(PO)_nH$를 갖는 alcohol들의 보조계면활성제로서의 특성을 연구하였는데, 이 alcohol들은 일반적으로 사용되는 보조계면활성제에 비해서 분자량이 크며 계면활성 또한 큰 특성을 갖고있다. EO와PO의 몰수와 이들이 첨가된 상대적 순서는 물/기름 계면에서 alcohol 분자의 분자면적과 계면장력 특성에 큰 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 다음의 결론을 얻었다. 1) PO는 EO에 비해서 계면흡착 효율은 낮으나, 계면장력 저하 능력은 더 크다. 2) 분자량은 같으나 구조가 다른 분자들, 즉 EO와PO의 첨가 순서만 다른 분자들의 경우는, 계면흡착 효율이 큰 (계면에서의 분자면적이 작은) 분자들이 계면장력 저하 능력이 더 크다. 3) 동일한 친유기에 EO나 PO가 많이 첨가될수록, 분자들의 계면에서의 분자면적은 커지나 계면장력 저하능력도 커진다.

$10^{-6}{\sim}10^{-3}mol/{\ell}$ 농도범위에서 PO가 먼저 부가된 sodium poly(oxyethylene(EO), oxyisopropylene(PO)) dodecyl ether sulfates의 표면장력은 EO가 부가된 화합물보다 낮게 나왔다. 그리고 대체적으로 일반적인 음이온성계면활성제보다도 낮게 나왔다. PO가 먼저 부가된 화합물에 대하여 Gibbs' 흡착등온선으로 계산한 흡착능(${\Gamma}=2.2{\times}10^{-10}mol/cm^2$)은 EO가 부가된 화합물보다는 높지만 sodium dodecyl ether sulfate(${\Gamma}=3.2{\times}10^{-10}mol/cm^2$)보다는 낮다. 이러한 현상은 PO가 부가된 화합물의 분자량이 크기 때문으로 사료된다. 기포력, n-hexane과 benzene에 대한 유화력, 돼지기름과 소기름에 대한 세정력 그리고 산화철에 대한 분산성은 PO 화합물이 EO 화합물보다 우수하게 나타났다. 이러한 현상들은 친수성과 소수성 부분이 각각 따로 따로 존재할 때 계면활성이 높음을 의미한다. 수계에서 n-hexane과 benzene에 대한 유화력 측정결과는 n-hexane보다 benzene에 대하여 높게 나왔으며, 불규칙적인 분산특성을 나타내었다.

최근 도심지내 주거공간은 다세대 거주공간으로 변화하여 화재 발생시 연기 충전이 발생되는 특징이 있다. 또한 피난경로와 연기의 유출 방향이 동일하여 피난자의 연기 흡입 가능성이 매우 높은 실정이다. 도심지 주거공간과 같은 협소거주공간에서 화재를 진압할 때는 화점 탐색이 가장 중요하며 이를 위해 소방관 헬멧에 장착하여 화점 탐색에 활용할 수 있는 EO/IR센서를 구현하고 이에 대한 동작시험을 함으로서 향후 화점탐색센서 연구 및 개발에 활용할 수 있는 결과를 도출하였다.

수출용으로 제조되고 있는 인삼엽록차에 대하여 위생적 품질개선을 목적으로 처리된 ethylene oxide(EO) 훈증제와 적정선량의 감마선 조사가 시료의 몇 가지 화학성분에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 인삼엽록차에 함유된 사포닌과 지방산은 상업적 조건의 EO 처리나 적정선량의 감마선 조사(5kGy 범위)에 의해 변화되지 않았다. 그러나 유리당과 아미노산에서 glucose, lysine 및 histidine은 EO 처리시 유의적으로 감소되어(p<0.05) 살균방법 중 EO gas는 감마선조사에 비해 엽록차 성분에 미치는 영향이 큰 것으로 화인되었다.

As the cetyltrimenthy ammonium bromide (CTAB) concentration increases to $2{\times}10^{-4}$/M the absorption maximum of ethyl orange (EO) makes a blue shift from 475 mm to 395 mm. At higher concentration of CTAB than $2{\times}10^{-4}$ / M the absorption maximum shifts to higher wavelength than 395 nm. A new peak at 395 nm is shown to result from the mixed micelle due to dye stacking interaction rather than from a change in dye geometry. Because Raman spectra of EO on interaction with varying amount of CTAB are similar to that of EO in water. EO retains trans azo type on interaction with CTAB. There is a change of c.m.c.s. of CTAB for the mixed micelle in the presence of salt. The effect of added salt on C. M. C. of CTAB for the mixed micelle is given that the logarithm of the c. m. c. is a linear function of the logarithm of the sum of the c. m. c. and the concentration of added salt.

EoL-1 cells differentiate into eosinophils in the presence of n-butyrate, but the mechanism has remained to be elucidated. Because n-butyrate can inhibit histone deacetylases, we hypothesized that the inhibition of histone deacetylases induces the differentiation of EoL-1 cells into eosinophils. In this study, using n-butyrate and two other histone deacetylase inhibitors, apicidin and trichostatin A, we have analyzed the relationship between the inhibition of histone deacetylases and the differentiation into eosinophils in EoL-1 cells. It was demonstrated that apicidin and n-butyrate induced a continuous acetylation of histones H4 and H3, inhibited the proliferation of EoL-1 cells, and induced the expression of markers for mature eosinophils such as integrin ${\beta}7$, CCR1, and CCR3 on EoL-1 cells, while trichostatin A evoked a transient acetylation of his tones and induced no differentiation into eosinophils. These findings suggest that the continuous inhibition of histone deacetylases in EoL-1 cells induces the differentiation into mature eosinophils.

S100A8 and S100A9 are associated with myeloid cell differentiation, chemotactic activities, adhesion of neutrophils, and apoptosis. In this study, we investigated the contribution of S100A8 and S100A9 to differentiation of the human eosinophilic leukemia cell line, EoL-1. S100A8 and S100A9 increased the number of vacuole per one cell and the protein expression of EPO and MBP. Rottlerin, an inhibitor of protein kinase C delta ($PKC{\delta}$), inhibited the EoL-1 cell differentiation induced by S100A8 and S100A9. These results suggest that S100A8 and S100A9 may regulate the differentiation of eosinophilic progenitors. Moreover, these findings may shed light on elucidation of eosinophil differentiation due to S100 proteins.

Eighteen specimens of juvenile Mugilidae were collected in October 2012 from the southern coastal waters of Jeju Island, and identified based on analysis of their mitochondrial DNA16S rRNA sequences. Seventeen specimens of Oedalechilus labiosus and a single specimen of Ellochelon vaigiensis were found, constituting a new record for these species among Korean ichthyofauna. O. labiosus is identified by the angle at the posterior end of its mouth, which contains a round notch, a darkish dorsal margin of the pectoral fin, the presence of 33-36 lateral line scales, and 23-24 vertebrae. E. vaigiensis is identified by dark dorsal and pectoral fins, the presence of 26 lateral line scales, and 25 vertebrae. The proposed Korean name for Oedalechilus is 'Sol-ip-sung-eo-sok' and that for Ellochelon is 'Nup-jeok-ggo-ri-sung-eo-sok'. The proposed Korean names for the species are 'Sol-ip-sung-eo' and 'Nup-jeok-ggo-ri-sung-eo' for O. labiosus and E. vaigiensis, respectively. We present a key for identification of the Mugilidae family of species from Korea, and include these two newly recorded species.
