한국의 새로운 단일원점 평면직각좌표계 설정 (Establishment of New Single Origin Plane Rectangular Coordinate System in Korea)

  • 최근 전 세계적으로 국가별, 기관별, 목적별로 다양하게 구축된 공간정보를 단일한 위치기반으로 하는 데이터로 통합함으로써 각 자료 간 연계성 및 활용성을 높이고 있다. 본 연구에서는 새로운 국가측지기준의 도입에 따른 위치기준의 변화와 공간정보 분야의 seamless 데이터 서비스 요구에 효율적으로 대응할 수 있도록 새로운 국가 단일원점 평면직각좌표에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위해 한반도 전역을 투영영역으로 설정하고 투영영역 내 발생하는 투영왜곡을 분석함으로써 이를 균질화 및 최소화할 수 있는 투영파라미터를 정의하였으며, 이에 대한 표준화 및 국제기구 등록방안을 제시하였다. 연구의 결과, 국가 단일원점 평면직각좌표계를 위한 최적의 투영식은 Hooijberg 투영식으로 분석되었으며, TM 투영을 위한 5가지 투영파라미터는 위도(${\Phi}$) $38^{\circ}N$, 경도(${\lambda}$) $128^{\circ}E$, 축척계수(K) 0.99924로 각각 분석되었다. 또한, 투영원점(${\Phi}$, ${\lambda}$)에 대한 가수값(false Northing & Easting)은 국가지점번호제도의 도입을 고려하여 북쪽방향 700,000m, 동쪽방향 400,000m로 각각 설정하는 것이 적합하였다.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the practical using of Geographic Information System(GIS) technology which are computer-based systems that are used to store and manipulate geographic information on the air pollution control and management in the macro city. For this study 130 samples were corrected by passive sampler in Seoul (25 distincts) distributed by TM-coordinate during November in 1997 to January 1998, and analysed by GC/MSD for 16 VOCs e.g., toluene, benzene and display using Arc/view GIS(version 3.2, ESRI Inc, U.S.A) for windows. The most VOCs concentration distribution in November, 1997 was higher than that of January, 1998 except benzene and 1,1,2-trichroloethan, bromobenzene. And products of the distribution of VOCs concentration display using GIS technology was effective as well as other display methods(e.g., contouring method, pie or column chart, graduated symbols), especially in mapping and symbolization capabilities for spatial pollutant status evaluation were very effective than other display methods.

  • Solid and hazardous waste disposal site selection by using GIS(Geographic Information System) is the purpose of this study. The criteria of site selection are usually defined in accordance with geological, cultural and social characteristics. Unadequate adaptation of these criteria in a site selection may cause serious problem of water and soil pollution. The environmental information for extraction of these criteria consist of a lot of data : geology, geomorphology, hydrogeology, engineering geology, cultural and social information.... GIS could be easily applied to construct of this environmental information data base, and carry out cartography simulation using overlay mapping technique(polygon overlay). ARC/INFO(GIS system) was used for these studies, and AML(ARC/INFO Macro Language) in this system provided more variable and effective methods for cartography simulation. TM(Thematic Mapper) images were used for the evaluation of land cover/use in the studied area, by using ERDAS image processing system.

A Study on the Subdivision of Water Body in Watersheds Classified by Remote Sensing

  • South korea has been developing and managing the complete dimensions, around the rivers to rapid economic growth. In Korea, where water resources are scarce, administration and work are complicated and diversified in the computerization of related facilities and hydrologic data due to the indiscriminate development of river facilities. In general, dividing the water system based on object in remote sensing is relatively accurate in the image with the same spectral characteristics. However, the distinction between the reservoir and the river must be made manually due to the characteristics of remote sensing. Therefore, this study performed three classifications using GIS (Geographic Information System) to classify reservoirs and rivers. For the purpose of accuracy analysis, the land cover map provided by EGIS (Environmental Geographic Information Service) was used to evaluate the accuracy, and the average of 85.63% was found to be 75.40% of rivers, 89.50% of reservoirs, and 92.00% of others.

도시지역의 토지이용 적지분석을 위한 지리정보시스템의 이용 - 구미시를 중심으로 - (Utilizing Geographic Information System for Analyzing Land Use Suitability in a Urban Area - A Case Study of Kumi City -)

  • 본 연구는 도시계획의 중요한 의사결정 중의 하나로서 토지이용계획을 위한 적지분석에 지리정보시스템의 접목을 시도한 것이다. 도 농 통합 이전의 구미시 지역을 대상지역으로 하여 관련 환경인자들과 가중치 등의 분석기준을 결정하고, GIS 데이터베이스를 구축하였다. 또한 위성영상처리를 통하여 추출한 토지이용/피복도와 NDVI 식생도를 데이터베이스에 포함시켰다. 중첩법을 이용하여 주거, 상업, 공업, 녹지지역의 토지용도별 적지를 등급별로 도출하였다. 연구지역의 4가지 기능공간에 대한 적지분석 결과는 기존 토지이용 및 도시기본계획상 토지이용구상도와 비교되었다. 더 나은 분석을 위해서는 실제적인 개발계획, 지가자료, 토양자료 등이 포함되어야 하며, 토지 이용별 수요추정 자료를 추가한다면 토지이용별 입지 배분 및 분포면적의 신뢰도를 더 높일 수 있을 것이다.

GIS 기반의 SWMM 모형을 이용한 하수도시스템 선정에 따른 도시하천 수질개선효과의 정량적 분석 (Analysis of the Effects of Sewer System on Urban Stream using SWMM based on GIS)

  • Generally CSOs (Combined Sewer Overflows) are regarded as one of the most serious nonpoint pollution source in the urban watershed, Particularly, the water quality of the Oncheon stream is seriously affected by CSOs because the capacity of interception sewer system connected to the Suyoung wastewater treatment plant is too small to intercept most storm water discharges. The objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of nonpoint source on an urban stream with regards to combined sewer system and separate sewer system using GIS (Geographic Information System) and SWMM (Storm Water Management Model), and to provide an insight for the management of urban stream water quality. In order to consider the effect of CSOs on the receiving water quality, the flow divider element in SWMM was applied. The model calibration and verification were performed by the measured data of quantity and quality on the Oncheon stream. The quantity data acquired from the Suyoung wastewater treatment plant were also used for this procedure. In case of separate sewer system, the modeling results showed the increased tendency in streamflow compared with the combined system in dry weather, In addition, the water quality is remarkably improved in rainfall events at the separate condition. The results imply that the construction of separate sewer system should be taken into first consideration to restore the quality and quantity of water in urban streams.

  • Topographical features in South Korea is characterized that 70% of territory is composed of the mountains that can experience intense rainfall during storms in the summer and autumn. Efficient planning and management of landscape becomes utmost important since the cutting slopes in the mountain areas have been increased due to the limited construction areas for the roadway and residential development. This paper proposed an efficient way of slope management for the landslide risk by developing Web-GIS landslide risk management system. By deploying the Logistic Regression Analysis, the system could increase the prediction accuracy that the landslide disaster might be occurred. High resolution survey technology using GPS and Total-Station could extract the exact position and visual shape of the slopes that accurately describe the slope information. Through the proposed system, the prediction of damage areas from the landslide could also make it easy to efficiently identify the level of landslide risks via web-based user interface. It is expected that the proposed landslide risk management system can support the decision making framework during the identification, prediction, and management of the landslide risks.

GIS를 이용한 우포늪 생태계 관리 (Management of Woopo Wetland Ecosystem Using GIS)

  • As important ecological systems, wetlands contribute a wide array of biological, social. and economic benefits. However, wetlands are lost until the present, primarily due to human induced land-use conversions. Society is placing demands for the efficient preservation and management on Woopo wetland as the first largest wetland in Korea. GIS(Geographic Information System) is a rapidly developing technology for handling, analyzing, and modeling ecological information on wetlands. In the paper, Woopo Wetland Management System has been developed by using Desktop GIS and Internet GIS technology to embrace major functions: information query and browsing, spatial searching on map, and rule-based analysis. As a menu-driven system, these functions are designed to be implemented through customized menus. The developed system is expected to be used for the effective publicity service as well as the professional management of Woopo.

ArcHydro를 이용한 GIS기반의 관개시스템 네트워크 모델링 - 안고농촌용수구역을 대상으로 - (Network Modeling of Paddy Irrigation System using ArcHydro GIS - ANGO Agricultural Water District -)

  • 농촌지역의 복잡한 물관리 체계를 정립하고 효율적인 용수관리를 위해서는 하천과 농업용 수리시설물의 연계를 통한 관개시스템의 네트워크 모델링이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 수자원분야의 지리정보데이터를 다루도록 개발된 ArcHydro Model을 한국농촌공사에서 개발한 농촌용수수요공급량산정시스템 (AWDS: Agricultural Water Demand & Supply Estimation System)과 연계하여 안성천유역내에 위치하는 "안고"농촌용수구역을 대상으로 네트워크 모델링을 구현하였다. ArcHydro Model을 이용하여 유역내의 24개의 저수지, 18개의 양수장, 28개의 취입보 등 총 70개의 수리시설물의 공간객체와 하천망간의 연관성을 부여하여 상호간의 위상관계를 가지도록 네트워크 모델링을 하였다. 또한 농촌용수수요공급량산정시스템에 대한 텍스트 결과를 ArcHydro Model을 통하여 수리시설물의 공간위치를 가시적으로 표현함으로서 특정 시설물의 위치파악이 쉽고, 순차적인 물수지의 체계를 이해하기 쉽도록 ArcGIS의 시스템에 메뉴를 추가하여 개발하였다.
