유치원 친환경급식 실시에 따른 학부모의 인식도 및 유아의 식행동 (Parental Perception and Dietary Behaviors of Preschool Children with Environment-friendly Food Service in Kindergarten)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the differences in households, parental perception, and dietary behaviors of preschool children from kindergartens with environment-friendly food service (environment-friendly food service group; EFG) versus children from kindergartens with general food service (general food service group; GFG). We sought this basic information to examine the impact of environment-friendly agricultural products in preschool food services. Age, education level, and monthly family income of the EFG were significantly higher than the GFG. The frequency of purchasing environment-friendly agricultural products was significantly higher in the EFG than the GFG, with the most frequently purchased items in both groups being vegetables. The GFG had a significantly higher perception than the EFG in the superior quality of environment-friendly agricultural products; however, a greater proportion of the GFG than the EFG thought environment-friendly products were too expensive. The most frequent reason for purchasing environment-friendly agricultural products in both groups was safety. When purchasing environment-friendly agricultural products, the most important selection factor for the majority of both groups was the label certifying quality assurance. Both groups also considered price reduction as essential for promoting environment-friendly agricultural products. In regard to parental perceptions on food service in kindergarten, the EFG had a significantly higher satisfaction with the nutritional adequacy of the menu compared to the GFG. Both groups considered food safety and health as primary reasons for using environment-friendly foods in the preschool food service, with a greater proportion of the EFG than the GFG responding this way. There were significant differences between the EFG and GFG, as the main satisfaction from using environment-friendly foods in the EFG was safety, freshness, and good hygiene, whereas the main satisfaction in the GFG was a good food service menu, freshness and good hygiene. Dietary behaviors of preschool children in the EFG were also significantly superior to the GFG. Thus, environment-friendly agricultural products have positive effects on the dietary behaviors of preschool children and should be increased in the preschool food service. Lowering prices and a strict supervision of quality assurance is also necessary to promote consumption of environment-friendly food materials.

  • Environment friendly agricultural material products (EFAMs) in current market were evaluated for their insecticidal or acaricidal activities. EFAMs were evaluated against Tetranychus urticae, Plutella xylostella, Myzus persicae and Nilaparvata lugens in spray method. Several EFAMs indicated high control value in spray method. Hatchability of T. urticae was relatively high after EFAM treatment. some materials show high insecticidal activities against P. xylostella larvae but not against eggs. Few mete rials showed more than 80% insecticidal activities against M. persicae and N. lugen. The control value of more than half the materials for pest control was lower than 60%. EFAMs containing S. flavescens, neem oil and Rape showed higher control value.

친환경 유기농자재의 잿빛곰팡이병 병원균의 생장 억제 효과 (Growth Inhibition Effect of Environment-friendly Agricultural Materials in Botrytis cinerea In Vitro)

  • 친환경 유기농자재를 이용하여 잿빛곰팡이병균의 포자 발아, 균사생장 억제효과를 기내에서 조사하였다. 그 결과 잿빛곰팡이병의 균사생장 억제 효과는 Bacillus subtilis를 주성분으로 하는 제제가 100%의 억제효과를 보였으며, 그 외의 제제는 20% 이하의 범위에서 억제효과를 나타내었다. 포자발아 억제효과는 유기황 수화제 2종('BTB', '황스타')이 각각 97.7%, 92.3%으로 나타났다. 균사생장 억제와 포자 발아억제에 모두 효과를 보이는 제제는 없었다. 따라서 잿빛곰팡이병 방제를 위해서는 포자발아 억제를 위한 방제와 균사생장억제를 위한 제제를 각각 처리하여야 할 것으로 사료되었다. 아울러 사물 기생성을 가진 잿빛곰팡이병의 방제를 위해서는 잔재물에서 생장을 막는 것이 중요하며 이를 위해 예방을 전제로 한 방제의 경우 유기황을 주성분으로 하는 제제가 적용 가능할 것으로 생각된다.

  • 친환경농자재 11종을 대상으로 황색참다래 과실무름병에 대한 항균활성 검정결과 SS (B. subtilis 10%), WS (Microbial extract 70%), DS (Sulfur 78%) 3종을 선발하였다. SS, WS, DS를 PDA 배지에 10일 동안 처리 시 B. dothidea의 균사 생장 저해 정도는 각각 94.2%, 65.2%, 58.9%였다. 선발 친환경농자재를 이용한 저장시험에서 WS와 SS가 병 방제 효과가 좋았다. 포장시험에서는 SS와 WS 단독 처리, DS-WS와 WS-SS 교호처리가 효과적이었다.

학교급식에 이용되는 친환경 농산물에 대한 학부모의 인식 및 만족도에 관한 조사 -대전지역초등학교를 중심으로- (Parental Perception and Satisfaction with Environment-Friendly Agricultural Products Used for School Foodservice in Elementary Schools in Daejeon)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the perception and understanding parents had regarding environment friendly agricultural products being used for school foodservice. A trained practitioner surveyed 221 parents of children at elementary schools in Daejeon using a questionnaire, after which the resulting data were analyzed by a Chi-square test. Overall, the parent's responses regarding the foodservice were positive. However, most of the parents do not participate (65%) in the school foodservice if they work, and those that do participate primarily work as meal service aides (58.1%). Parents indicated that the work of urgent field of inspection on food materials (69.9%), and the reason of an agreement (98.2%) for them were the students' health (68.4%). In addition, most parents were positive about the possibility of replacing foods used in the school with environment friendly products (51.6%) and felt that the government should pay the additional expense associated with their replacement. Furthermore, the majority of the parent's surveyed felt that children should be supplied with vegetables (54.9%) purchased directly from farms. The parents' satisfaction with the meal service (25.1%) was lower than that of the students (54.1%). The reason for the satisfaction reported by the parents was concern regarding the health of their children (53.3%). In addition, the majority of the parents (47.3%) responded that environment friendly agricultural products differ from general agricultural products because insecticides and fertilizer were not used. The main objection parents had to using environment friendly products was their cost (59.1%), and most parents felt that a realistic solution to this problem was unified purchase (41.4%). Besides, a problem when replacing with them was the expensive price (38.1%) and true or false (37.7%), and the students' satisfaction (59.5%) was selected the most in an effect of using them, diversity of the product (39.1%) and price reduction (32.6%) for a solution of the increase of using them.

친환경유기농자재에 대한 농업인의 사용실태 및 인식도 조사 (A Survey on the Use and Perception of Environmentally-friendly Organic Materials among Korean Farmers)

  • 본 연구에서는 친환경유기농자재를 사용하여 작물을 재배하는 농업인을 대상으로 설문조사를 시행하여 친환경유기농자재의 사용실태, 부작용 경험 및 친환경유기농자재의 안전성에 대한 인식도 등을 조사하였다. 조사결과 친환경유기농업에 종사하는 농업인이 친환경농업에 참여하는 가장 큰 이유는 안전농산물을 생산하기 위한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 친환경유기농자재의 안전성에 대해 보통이상으로 높게 인식하고 있었으며, 재배면적이 많은 농업인이 재배면적이 작은 농업인에 비해 친환경유기농자재의 안전성에 대한 인식이 더 낮았다. 친환경유기농업 인증을 받은 응답자의 23.6%와 인증을 받지 않은 응답자의 33.8%가 부작용을 경험함으로써 친환경유기농업 인증을 받은 농업인의 부작용 경험 비율이 낮았다. 친환경유기농자재 사용으로 인한 부작용의 종류는 주로 '눈가려움', '손발가려움', '피곤함'으로 나타났으며, 부작용을 경험한 사람($3.79{\pm}1.15$)이 경험하지 않은 사람($4.15{\pm}0.86$)에 비해서 사용방법을 준수하는 비율이 유의적으로 낮게 나타남에 따라 부작용의 발생 여부는 포장지에 기재된 사용방법 준수 행위와 밀접한 관련이 있음을 알 수 있다. 이러한 결과를 근거로 해서 정책 및 교육부문의 개선방안을 제안하기 위해서는 농업인을 대상으로 하는 보다 정밀한 의견 수렴 등의 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

  • Foci of this thesis arc an estimation of willingness to pay and an establishment of green marketing strategics for environment-friendly agricultural products(EFAR). Estimations of willingness to pay for grain, vegetables, fruit and processed food-stuffs arc respectively 20.6%, 20.2%, 19.3% and 17.2% higher than agricultural products produced by conventional farming method. And a green mark6ting mix for EFAP is as follows; Erst, a product strategy focuses on producing safe and high-quality foods by environment-friendly agriculture(EFA) to point to consumer’s health and desire for environmental preservation. Second, in a price strategy, the balance of three factors should be kept, namely the environmental value the true quality as food materials and the price of EFAP. Third, a place strategy is to reduce waste matters, resource and energy uses in marketing chain, and to simplify marketing channels. Also, it is necessary to choose the marketing channel for price discrimination. Fourth, a promotion strategy make use of programs that emphasize the multi-function of EFA.

천연배지 열수추출물을 이용한 큰느타리버섯 균사배양 적합 배지 개발 (Development of the Optimal Media for Mycelial Culture of Pleurotus eryngii using the Hot-water Extract of Raw Materials)

  • 본 연구는 버섯재배에 이용되는 배지재료를 이용하여 상업용 PDA 고체배지를 대체할 수 있는 원균 증식용 천연고체배지 제조 가능성에 대해 조사하였다. 천연고체배지는 큰느타리버섯 재배에 이용되는 재료를 열수 추출하여 제조하였다. 포플러톱밥, 밀기울, 미강이 버섯의 균사생육에 좋은 특성을 보였다. 천연 고체배지 제조를 위한 포플러톱밥, 밀기울, 미강의 적정 혼합 비율은 50 : 20 : 30(v/v/v, PWR523)와 50 : 30 : 20(v/v/v, PWR532) 수준이었다. 열수수출물 함유 천연 고체배지인 PWR523 및 PWR532에 대한 버섯 균사생육은 PDA 배지에 접종된 것보다 빠른 특성을 나타내었다. 또한 열수추출물 함유 천연 고체배지에 의해 만들어진 접종원을 이용한 경우 버섯의 배양 및 수확에 있어서 상업용 배지를 이용한 것과 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다.

  • Our global environment and ecology are now facing crisis due to the hrincreased waster materials caused by reckless abuse of resources and energy with the continuous development of our society. Therefore the whole nation should recognize the environmental pollution seriously and should accept sustainable development principles. The country is looking for actions against the problems in various ways. The introduction of reckless and duplicating western housing plan should be ceased but a new housing plan conforming to our nature should be found. In this regard, it is believed that it is a good alternative to succeed tradition and identity of Korean housing plan and suggest a new plan for better ecological housing by analyzing the environment friendliness of our traditional Korean houses. In this study, the traditional residential components were divided into physical and design aspects and the characteristics of environment friendly Korean traditional houses were analyzed.

친환경·GAP·HACCP이 농업 생산자조직에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Environment-friendly Certifications on Agricultural Producer Organizations)

  • Purpose - The distribution of agricultural products is changing due to recent shifts in environmental free trade. Specifically, the competitiveness of domestic agricultural products has weakened as a result of the Korea-China Financial Trade Agreement. Agricultural producers are faced with increasing difficulties and organized production centers are growing in importance daily. To overcome this crisis, agricultural producer organizations are vying for environment-friendly agricultural certifications, Good Agriculture Practices (GAP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP). In particular, as consumer demand for higher safety grows, farmers are increasing their certification rates. Therefore, this certification system is expected to help strengthen the competitiveness of agricultural producer organizations. Research design/data/methodology - Organized production centers are classified by certification. A survey was conducted with 91 organizations using factor analysis and logistic regression analysis for the examination. The factor analysis results are as follows. Raw material procurement, education·specialization, marketing, joint business, organizing ability, business management, effectiveness, certification, and larger organizations were classified as the nine types of factors. These factors affect the organized production centers and are used in the logistic regression analysis. The purpose of such research and analysis is to suggest a direction for future production center policies. Results - The basic statistical results are as follows: analysis of the producer organizations of 91 sites, average number of members per site of 1,624, and average sales of 25,961 million won. Additionally, the average income per farmer is 175 million won, and the pooling system rate is 53.5%. The factor analysis results are as follows. Factor 1 consists of contract cultivation, ongoing shipment, selection subdivision, traceability, and major retailer management. Factor 2 consists of manual cultivation, specialty selection, education program, and R&D. Factor 3 consists of advertising, various dealers, various sales strategies, and a unified sales counter. Factor 4 consists of agricultural materials co-purchase, policy support, co-shipment, and incentives. Factor 5 consists of the co-selection and pooling system. Factor 6 consists of co-branding and operating by the organization's article. Factor 7 consists of the buy-sell ratio and rate of operation of the agriculture promotion center. Factor 8 consists of bargaining power in volume and participation rate of farmer certification. Factor 9 consists of increasing new subscribers. The logistic regression analysis results are as follows. Considering the results by type of certification, the environment-friendly agricultural certification type and the GAP certification type have a (+) influence. GAP and HACCP certification types affecting the education·specialization factor have a (+) influence. Considering the results for each type of certification, the environment-friendly agricultural certification types on the effectiveness factor have (-) influence; the HACCP certification types on the organizing ability and effectiveness factor have a (-) influence. Conclusions - Agricultural producer organizations should develop plans as follows: The organizations need to secure education for agricultural production; increase the pooling system ratio for sustainable organizational development; and, finally, expand the number of agricultural producer organizations.
