A Study on the Influence of Entrepreneurship of Entrepreneurial Intentions : Focused on the Mediating Effects of University Entrepreneurship Education Satisfaction (기업가정신이 창업의도에 미치는 영향연구 : 대학 창업교육 만족도를 매개효과로)

  • In this study, we have looked into how factors of 'entrepreneurship' and 'entrepreneurship education satisfaction' affect the 'entrepreneurial intentions'. Regarding how entrepreneurship affects the entrepreneurial intentions, this study was intended to verify the mediating effect(s) of 'entrepreneurship education satisfaction'. Was a survey of the startup classes of K university students take to achieve the objects of the present study, the result of th empirical relationship between th variables is as follows. This study shows that the achievement needs and risk taking of the entrepreneurship have meaningful (+) effect on the entrepreneurial intentions, And also 'entrepreneurship education satisfaction' is positively mediating 'the achievement needs' and 'the risk taking', but not applied to ambiguity acceptance of entrepreneurship. This study implies that growing confidence and entrepreneurial spirit through entrepreneurship expert education have positive effect on entrepreneurial intentions. For this study, we have conducted a survey targeting the students who take a class of entrepreneurship in K institute of Technology.

The Effects of Entrepreneurship on Social Enterprise Performance (기업가정신이 사회적 기업의 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined what entrepreneurial elements of social enterprises contribute to the virtuous cycle to lay a foundation of the coevolution with communities through growth and wealth distribution. To this end, the study was started by adding the pursuit of social goals to the components of entrepreneurship, namely an innovative mind, progressive spirit, and risk sensitivity, and the effects of each of these factors on their economic performance and the social performance were examined. Within this framework, the relationships between social enterprises' performance in economic and social dimensions as dependent variables, and the entrepreneurial elements as independent variables were examined by correlation tests and regression analysis for two hypotheses and their 8 subsequent hypotheses. The results showed that the entrepreneurs' progressive spirit had a statistically meaning effect on the economic performance, and an innovative mind and risk sensitivity are influential variables for social performance.

  • Research in which an individual's entrepreneurial spirit contributes to the country's economic development through revitalization of entrepreneurship is being actively conducted, but studies related to individual satisfaction or life satisfaction are still insufficient. This study aims to clarify the influence of young adults' entrepreneurial spirit on their life satisfaction and at the same time verify the mediating effect of self-efficacy and self-determination. In addition, an empirical analysis was conducted on 511 young people to reveal the effectiveness of participation in government start-up support projects. The research results are as follows. First, the entrepreneurial spirit had a positive effect on the life satisfaction of young people. Second, self-determination and self-efficacy played a role in mediating the relationship between entrepreneurship and life satisfaction. Finally, participation in start-up support projects did not show a statistically significant moderating effect. This study is expected to provide a clue that life satisfaction can act as a major variable in the impact of entrepreneurship on entrepreneurship. It also implies that the performance of the government start-up support project should be considered not only about the quantitative performance such as sales and employment effect, but also the qualitative performance such as personal life satisfaction.

A Comparative Study on the Factors of Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Activation: Based on GETR Data (기업가정신 생태계 활성화 요인에 관한 국가간 비교연구: GETR(글로벌기업가정신트렌드리포트)자료를 중심으로)

  • Recent global economic recession and recession of employment have made various efforts to revitalize entrepreneurial ecosystem by presenting entrepreneurial spirit and creative talent development as national top priority strategy in major developed countries. Based on data from the Global Entrepreneurship Trend Report (GETR), which has been conducted by the Venture Small Business Division and the Korea Entrepreneurship Foundation since 2015, the study will be conducted by the entrepreneurs of 10 countries in 2015 and 2016 The components of mental ecosystem were compared and verified. The results showed that entrepreneurship education effect and entrepreneurial environment showed positive relationship with entrepreneurship of individual and organization. Also, entrepreneurship education effect, entrepreneurial environment, individual entrepreneurship. On the other hand, organizational entrepreneurship was not found to have a significant effect on entrepreneurial type (livelihood / opportunistic entrepreneurship). In this study, entrepreneurship education as a lifelong education is required in order to enhance entrepreneurial ecosystem in Korea and to increase the quality of entrepreneurship which is increasing quantitatively. Finally We emphasizing the importance of creating a favorable entrepreneurial environment and offer some suggestions.

Relationship Among Self-Determination, Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Intention of University Students in Korea (예비창업자의 자기결정성이 기업가정신과 창업의지에 미치는 영향: 창업교육의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • Overall, college students tend to be immersed in the relatively safe employment, such as civil servants or public sector than start one's own business due to the lack of entrepreneurial spirit which made the great success in order to take the risk and innovative challenge. In this study, relationship between pre-founder of college students' self-determination, entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial intentions are to be determined. As a result, the implications were derived in order to make pre-founder various ways of career decision beside employment. Therefore start-up training courses was verified by moderating effects. The results are first, high self-determination(Autonomy, Efficacy) of the pre-founder made positive impact on entrepreneurial intention. Second, high self-determination(Autonomy, Efficacy) of the pre-founder made positive impact on entrepreneurship. Third, entrepreneurship of the pre-founder made positive impact on entrepreneurial intention. Fourth, entrepreneurship was carried out a full mediating role in the relationship between self-determination and entrepreneurial intention. Finally, Pre-founder group who have taken entrepreneurship education have showed a positive relationship between high self-determination(Autonomy, Competence, Relationship) and entrepreneurial intention. Based on these results, especially pre-founders, in order to improve the willingness of university students entrepreneurship, highly motivated intrinsic motivation is needed to ensure the student's self-determination in University education. It looks that can be achieved through the strengthening of entrepreneurship education for autonomy, competence, efficacy improvement.

  • After the Enactment of Support of Social Enterprise in 2007, Cultivation of Social Enterprises has been Promoted in Eearnest these days. This Study Attempts to Examine the Factors that Affect the Sustainability of Social Enterprise, Which is the Current Policy Issue Regarding the Social Enterprise. For this Purpose, the Study Developed a Research Model that has Antecedent Factors(strategy, managerial capability, business environment and social entrepreneurship) of Social Enterprise as an Independent Variable, Performance as Parameter and Sustainability as a Dependent Variable. Using this Model, the Study Established Hypotheses that Examine the Performance and Antecedent Factors of Sustainability of Social Enterprise. According to the Hypothesis Testing Results, the Economic Performance Showed Partial Mediating Effect on the Impact of Strategy, Management Capacity, Business Environment and Social Entrepreneurial Spirit on the Sustainability. As for the Social Performance, Strategy, Management Capacity and Social Entrepreneurial Spirit Turned out to Partially Mediate the Impact on Sustainability. Meanwhile, The Social Performance did not Show Mediating Effect in the Impact of Business Environment on Sustainability.

A Study on the Influence of Young Entrepreneurs' Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial preparation upon the Entrepreneurial Performance: Centered on Mediated Effect of Entrepreneurial infra system using (기업가정신과 창업준비가 사업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 창업인프라 활용 매개효과 중심으로)

  • Younger starters to be ready on the entrepreneurial performance and raising and producing potential creative person who demonstrates entrepreneurial spirit are not only important factor for added value creation along with national growth but also economic development to join the ranks of advanced countries. Thereby, a lots of interests and supports are focused in entrepreneurship and the startup activities. However, to create business achievement, we should nurture successful entrepreneurship based on using infrastructure in entrepreneurial ecosystem induced by aggressive investments and supports of the policy. Therefore, this study is empirical test of 203 young CEO of techniques which possibly create added value and national development, inventive type in knowledge service and opportunity type. Research finding is that entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial preparation have meaningful effects on the performance and the ready state. Entrepreneurship has no direct effects on entrepreneurial infra system. Entrepreneurial preparation has meaningful effects on entrepreneurial infra system. We induced that it is hard to earn business achievement by only using entrepreneurial infra system in that entrepreneurial infra system has no effect on business achievement. Lastly, entrepreneurship infra system has no relationship as mediating effects with effects of entrepreneurship on business achievement in mediating effect test. While young CEOs with entrepreneurship create business achievement without using entrepreneurship infra, entrepreneurship infra has relationship as mediating effect with effect of entrepreneurial preparation on business achievement. Namely, we induced the result that using entrepreneurship infra aggressively improve achievement in entrepreneurial preparation. Through this study, we need entrepreneurship education for young CEOs and effort to develop entrepreneur's competence to improve achievement and we concluded that approaching systematically in entrepreneurial preparation and using various entrepreneurship infra aggressively are important factors to improve achievement.

Effects of Entrepreneurial Competencies on Entrepreneurial Satisfaction and Life Satisfaction: Moderator Effect of Person-Job Fit (창업가역량이 창업만족도와 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향: 직무적합도의 조절효과 검증)

  • Due to the continuous unemployment problem, the number of jobs is gradually decreasing, and entrepreneurship is emerging as an alternative. This is because, despite the government operating various start-up support programs to build a start-up-friendly culture, young entrepreneurs cannot endure the valley of death and disappear. Therefore, through this study, we intend to provide implications by analyzing the impact on Entrepreneurial satisfaction, which is essential for continuously running a business, and life satisfaction, which can act as a social awareness. This study was conducted with 573 non-wage workers who belonged to the founders among the participants of the 'College Graduation Occupational Migration Path Survey(GOMS)' survey provided by the Korea Employment Information Service. In order to analyze the relationship between entrepreneurial competency and job fit, Entrepreneurial satisfaction, and life satisfaction, the analysis was conducted using the SPSS 23.0 program. The main research results are summarized as follows. First, entrepreneurial competency has a positive effect on Entrepreneurial satisfaction and life satisfaction. Second, job fit indicates a moderating role in the relationship between entrepreneurial competency and Entrepreneurial satisfaction. Third, start-up satisfaction appears to have a partial mediating role in the relationship between entrepreneurial competency and life satisfaction. Fourth, as a result of analyzing the difference between groups according to the type of start-up(single/partnership), the group that worked together showed higher Entrepreneurial satisfaction and life satisfaction. The main implications of this study are: First, in order to increase the Entrepreneurial satisfaction and life satisfaction of university graduates who are the subject of the study, it will be necessary to design a program that can diagnose and enhance the entrepreneurial competency of students at the university level. Second, entrepreneurial competency is a basic intrinsic factor that founders must have, and it should act as an important evaluation factor when selecting founders for support programs from start-up support organizations as well as founders. Third, it is necessary to maintain mutual trust by documenting problems (positions, wages, management rights, distribution of profits, etc.) that may occur in joint ventures with objective data. Fourth, it is necessary to establish an environment in which the MZ generation, armed with the challenging spirit and creativity, can continue to take on challenges even if they fail.

A Study on the Direction of Entrepreneurship Education in Universities linked to Community (지역연계 대학창업교육 방향 연구)

  • The dynamic entrepreneurial activities of small businesses or individual entrepreneurs seeking to enter the global market based on innovative ideas and challenging spirit in the modern society, which is trending in entrepreneurial capitalism according to the times, Leading to new growth engines. In order to promote the establishment of universities in Korea, the government has been working on 'Five-Year Plan for University Entrepreneurship Education(2013-2017)', 'Efficiency of Government Start-up Support in 2015', and 'Five-Year Basic Plan for Activation of Industry-University Cooperation(2016-2020)'. However, there are still practical limitations in spite of the efforts made by universities and research institutes to revitalize start-ups. As a way to overcome these limitations, this study aims to systematize the entrepreneurship education of the university, and examines the role of changing universities and theory of clusters and the entrepreneurship education. In addition, we will look at the factors of creative university culture centering on the representative cases of the Innovation University in US, and present a conceptual framework for cluster-based entrepreneurship education for the purpose of 'successful entrepreneurship' which is different from 'start-up success'. The conceptual framework of cluster-based entrepreneurship education is based on the establishment of 'Integrated Entrepreneurship Education Platform' to revitalize start-ups centered on university technology. At the same time, this framework focuses on the three factors of talent, technology, and culture based on the relevant theories and examples, and emphasizes the clustering of entrepreneurial resources, entrepreneurial policies and leadership that should be involved in entrepreneurship education.

  • The aim of this paper is to grasp the impact of entrepreneurial activities of politician and business owner on regional industry amid the rising importance of entrepreneurship as the driver of structural change. In particular, it would help narrow the knowledge gap in empirical research by analysing the entrepreneurial spirit and motivation of the different trait of politicians and entrepreneurs that the relevant research is still insufficient. Through the case of politician' and business owner's entrepreneurship on the carbon industry growth of Jeollabuk-do and innovative start-up entering the lagging textile industry of Daegu, this study unearths the necessity of entrepreneurship, which has not been considered relatively much in the process of establishing regional industrial policies, thereby drawing the policy implication.
