나선형 사각덕트 내의 압력강하 (Pressure Drop in a Helical Square Duct)

  • Pressure drop at a helical square duct orifice is numerically evaluated. The orifice is installed at the entrance of a once-through steam generator tube to suppress flow instabilities. The calculated results are compared with the available experimental correlations, and showed good agreement. Effects of curvature ratio and characteristics of the secondary flow with Reynolds number are reported. Through the numerical simulations, pressure drop mechanisms were well understood inside the compact and complicated orifice geometry.

FLUENT 코드를 이용한 타 단면의 점성 유동 해석 (Viscous Flow Analysis for the Rudder Section Using FLUENT Code)

  • Lately, the cavitation and erosion phenomena in the rudder have been increased for high-speed container ships. However, cavitation is not prone to occur in model experiments because of low Reynolds number. In order to predict the cavitation phenomena, the - analysis of the viscous flow in the rudder gap is positively necessary In this study, numerical calculation was applied to the two-dimensional flow around the rudder gap using FLUENT code. The velocity and pressure field were numerically acquired and cavitation phenomena could be predicted. And the case that the round bar was installed in the rudder gap was analyzed. For reducing the acceleration force when fluid flow through the gap, modified rudder shape is proposed, It is shown that modified rudder shape restrain the pressure drop at the entrance of the gap highly both in the computational results and in the model experiment, and reduce the cavitation bubbles.

The Current Distribution and Habitat Preferences of Hibernating Myotis formosus in Korea

  • We monitored 38 hibernation sites of Myotis formosus in South Korea and recorded the number of bats occupying each site and assessed the micro-climate at the sites during four winters from 2005 to 2009 at. The mean rock temperature of the bat roosting sites was $13.2{\pm}1.4^{\circ}C$ and the mean body temperature of the hibernating bats was $13.3{\pm}1.3^{\circ}C$. The number of hibernating bats was negatively related to the size of the entrance and positively related to the minimum ambient temperature and humidity in the site interior. More bats hibernated in roosts with smaller entrances and higher minimum ambient temperatures, and more bats selected sites presenting a narrow temperature range. This study showed that the internal environments of hibernacula of M. formosus were highly stable despite dramatic variation in the external environment.

  • An analytical study on the effects of initial turbulence intensities and Reynolds Number on the transition flow of a circular tube is conducted in Part I;Analysis of Transition Flow. In this second report, however, the effects of tripping wire on the developing regions of a horizontal pipe are studied experimentally and the results of analytical and experimental studies are compared. The agreements between the two results are relatively good. The diameter of the apparatus tube in the experimental works is 76.25mm. and the length is about 7m. The tripping wire diameters used in the experiments are 1.0,1.5,2.0,2.5mm., etc. From the experimental works, the relations between tripping wire size; o.e., diameter and Reynolds Number are proposed for the given thbe diameter.

계량경제모델에 의한 치과의사 이력수급에 관한 연구 (Demand and Supply of Dental Manpower by the Econometrical Model)

  • The demand and supply of dentists was studied by the econometrical model. It is based on the data of socio-economic-cultural statistic from 1967 to 1977; GNP, average monthly consumption expenditure per household, consumption of milk, populat ion, consumption of energy, water supply per person a day and entrance rate of senior high school. 1.The curved regression equation and multiple correlation coefficient (R)between the number of dentists(Y) and year (x)were $Y=4,122(1.06)^x$,R=0.995. 2. From 1982 to 1985, expected demand and expected supply will be approximately balanced. But dentists will be oversupplied conspicuously from the year of 1986. Such a oversupply will be remarkably incresed to the amount of 1860 in the year of 2000. 3. It is seemed that balanced number of graduates of dental colleges will be about 350 to the year of 1985, from the year of 1986, will be about 450, from the year of 1981, will be about 600 and from the year of 1996, will be about 700. 4. In 2000, persons served by each dentist will be 3550 by the expected supply and 4120 by the expected demand.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristic of planning of Living-Hanok which bases on inherited and developed traditional lifestyle in Jeon-Nam province. After that arranged the characteristic in order which was divided by 9 items such as pattern of developed Hanok, type of floor plan, structure, pattern of using inside space, number of bedroom, the exist of private bathroom in the each bedroom or not, number of bathroom, the exist of storage space in the house or not, style of entrance and the exist of Utility Room or not. Additional, there was interview with resident who have been lived in Living-Hanok since after completion due to investigate resident's concerning of the Hanok. As a result, the last goal of analyze and interview is to presentation of more developed planing factors for Living-Hanok.

Practical Usage of Positioning Map in University Public Information Strategy

  • During the previous few years, local universities have experienced a rapid decrease in registration of new student for admission because of the problem of excessive concentration to Seoul metropolitan area and decrease in the number of population under school ages. Even though they are tring to survive from the difficulties by developing new strategies to increase the number of new students, it has no meaning if there is no standpoint of marketing. So, this study suggests that introduction of demander focused marketing concept actively is needed breaking the general and conservative method when the university devise entrance examination strategy. Also, using of positioning map is suggested and the examples are showed as finding differentiation factors with competitive university.

Brain CT에서 차폐 재료 변화에 따른 수정체 선량 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on the Lens Dose According to the Change of Shielding Material Used in Brain Computed Tomography)

  • 우리나라 국민의 연간 진단용 방사선 검사 건수는 매년 증가하고 있으며, 특히 의료 피폭의 절반이상을 차지하는 CT검사에 대한 각별한 주의가 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 현재 CT검사 중 가장 많은 부분을 차지하는 두부 CT에서 CT Number, Noise, Uniformity를 유지하면서 수정체 부분의 입사표면선량(ESD)을 줄이기 위해, 현재 사용하고 있는 Bismuth 차폐체와 Aluminum 6mm, Silicone 22mm를 비교 실험하였다. 실험 결과 IOML에 평행한 나선형 scan과 고식적 scan에서 차폐체를 사용하지 않을 때의 선량보다 각각 Bismuth 26.41%, 17.52%, Aluminum 18.24%, 9.39%, Silicone 19.47%, 14.39% 감소되었다. 물의 CT Number, Noise, Uniformity 항목에서 Bismuth 차폐체의 경우 팬텀영상 검사 기준을 초과하였으며, Aluminum, Silicone의 경우는 기준내에 포함되었다. 화질의 변화를 줄이면서 차폐의 효과를 보고자 할 때 가공성이 좋고 구입하기 쉬운 Silicone을 이용한 차폐체가 도움이 되리라 생각한다.

  • 본 논문은 항만의 보안수준을 높이기 위하여 항만출입대상 중 인원과 일반차량에 대한 보안체계를 마련하고자 하는 것이다. 국제기구 등에서 시행하는 물류보안제도 중 항만과 관련된 동향을 파악하여 그동안 항만보안에서 주목받지 못하였던 인원과 일반차량에 대한 중요성을 강조하고 기존 문헌과 설문 및 현장방문조사를 통한 문제점을 지적하여 RFID 기술의 적용을 통해 이를 개선할 수 있는 방안을 업무 프로세스 관점에서 제시하고자 한다. 이를 통해 항만출입체계의 개선을 위해 선행되어야 하지만 연구되지 못했던 인원과 일반차량에 대한 업무 프로세스를 정리함으로써 향후 진행되는 관련 연구에 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이며, RFID 기술을 도입하기 위해 고려되어야 하는 여러 가지 요인을 정리함으로써 가이드라인 역할을 할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

IVR장치의 성능 평가 기준 개발 (Establishment of Quality Control System for Angiographic Unit)

  • 성능이 저하된 IVR 장치의 지속적 사용은 환자 및 시술자의 방사선 피폭을 증가시킬 뿐 아니라, 잘못된 영상정보를 제공함으로써 환자에게 심각한 영향을 끼칠 수 있다. 따라서 이번 연구에서는 IVR장치의 성능평가를 위한 적절한 시험방법 및 검사기준을 마련하고자 하였다. IVR장치의 국내현황 및 규격을 조사하였으며, 표준팬텀을 이용하여 국내 IVR장치의 성능을 현장 측정함으로써, 국내 실정에 맞는 적절한 IVR 장치의 화질 및 성능평가 기준을 설정하였다. 장치의 기본적 성능에 관한 검사를 위해 관전압시험, 관전류 시험, 반가층 시험을 실시하며, NEMA stndard XR-21 Phantom을 표준팬텀으로 사용하여 화질 및 선량 평가를 하도록 하였다. 표준팬텀을 이용한 검사항목은 image-field geometry, spatial resolution, low-contrast iodine detectability, wire resolution, phantom entrance dose이다. 또한 매일, 매주, 1개월, 3개월, 6개월 및 1년 주기의 평가항목을 설정하였다. 장치의 성능기준은 진단용방사선안전관리 규정을 준용하여 kVp시험은 평균오차 ${\pm}10%$, mA시험은 평균오차 ${\pm}15%$, 반가층시험은 80kVp에서 최소 2.3mmAl으로 설정하였다. 표준팬텀의 검사기준은 image-field geometry에서 최소 acceptable이 나와야 하며, spatial resolution은 Image Intensifier 나 detector 크기기준으로 34-40cm은 0.8 lp/mm, 28-33cm은 1.0lp/mm, 22-27cm은 1.2 lp/mm이상이 나와야 한다. low contrast iodine detectability는 최소농도 200mg/cc 이상 보여야 하며, phantom entrance dose는 10R/min을 초과해서는 안 된다. Wire resolution은 정지 상태에서 최소 0.012인치까지 보여야 하며, 움직일 때 최소 0.022인치까지 보여야 한다.
