  • 스마트TV는 기존의 일반TV에 개방형 웹 서비스와 스마트폰의 특징인 전용 앱 등 인터넷을 기반으로 하는 다양한 콘텐츠를 활용할 수 있는 멀티TV이다. 본 논문에서는 스마트TV를 이용한 어플리케이션으로서 요리 레시피를 시뮬레이션 화하여 게임처럼 즐길 수 있는 웹 시스템을 제안한다.

  • This paper deals with a novel autocalibration method of three-axis micromachined accelerometers applied to a new intelligent putter for golfers. This putter can help golfers monitor and analyze their putting posture and therefore modify their putting action to get better score and enjoy their lives through golf. The micromachined accelerometers to get information of the motion are the essential part of the putter to measure the three-axis acceleration as accurately as possible. This paper presents autocalibration algorithm to find the offset and sensitivity of accelerometers only by using six different static measurement data. The experimental results shows the validity of the algorithm for the new smart putter.

An Embedded Multifunctional Media System for Mobile Devices in Terrestrial DTV Relaying

  • The paper presents a novel embedded multifunctional media sever (EMMS) for mobile devices to receive various media programs. Being different from other contemporary system research, the paper mainly studies how to design a reception solution for terrestrial digital television (DTV) on mobile devices and how to enable mobile devices can receive DTV program, enjoy video-on-demand (VOD), achieve video surveillance and relay Internet video program via local Wi-Fi simultaneously. In the system design, we integrate broadcasting-terrestrial DTV tuner, streaming media re-transmission system, VOD disk, video camera and access interface to the Internet into EMMS, which can either receive terrestrial DTV radio signals and demodulate out digital transport stream (TS), or can read streaming media bit-stream from VOD disk, surveillance camera or access interface to the Internet. The experimental results show the proposed system is stable and quality-efficient. Comparing with the other systems, the proposed system has the least packet loss rate and response time.

However, the life of the human being shall be extended. become the older society and the population shall increase. stronger earth-quake and the typhoon shall occur more frequently due to global warming. Pronunciation-based Listening Teaching

  • This paper is intended to suggest how to improve Korean high school students' awareness of the pronunciation in order to foster communicative effectiveness. Initially it is focused on the tasks of listening to the suprasegmental aspects. The strategies used in the listening process are (1)discerning intonation units, (2)recognizing rhythm pattern, and (3)identifying contraction and linking in connected speech. The tasks including in each process are listening discrimination, guided practice activity, and listening and speaking activity. The teacher should avoid methods which yield discouraging outcomes and try to help students enjoy experience of success in doing exercises and activities. So I suggested: students put the slash on the pause perceptible to chunk the stream of speech into the intonation units, and mark the content words to internalize English rhythm. And then I suggested that students listen to pop song English in order to improve the awareness of function words and connected speech in the intonation unit.

  • Environmental furniture comprises an independent design branch as distinguished from he design of street furniture. Environmental furniture helps people enjoy outdoor relaxation and cultural activities by creating convenient facilities and plays a part as the medium connecting environment and living. As a tool effecting all outdoor living conditions including home and public environment, it helps people lead a convenient and safe outdoor life. It is an important element that contributes to the image of outdoor scenery. Therefore, the design of environmental furniture should : 1)consider environment including 3R(Recycle, Reuse and Reduce) which makes harmony with nature without destroying it. 2)seek qualitative improvement by using environmental friendly materials and continuously developing new materials. 3)be assisted by the administrative support from the government to make the environmental furniture design an integral part of the city plan. The quality of a city environment will be greatly improved when people's interest in and their changed view towards environmental furniture is effected.

의료기관 인증제도의 현황과 과제 (Healthcare Accreditation in Korea: The Current Status and Challenges Ahead)

  • The origin of hospital accreditation in Korea is the Hospital Standardization Program of the Korea Hospital Association. Current accreditation program implemented by the Korea Institute for Healthcare Accreditation has succeeded in stimulating quality improvement activities of participating hospitals since its launching in 2010. However it has been criticized due to some unintended consequences of accreditation. In order to fully enjoy the benefit of the accreditation program in Korea, national efforts to expand accreditation scheme and coverage, upgrade accreditation standards, insure substantiality of accreditation process, provide consumers with more useful information, and strengthen the professional capacity of accreditation organization will be needed.

인터넷 경쟁환경에서의 선발자 우위에 대한 실증적 연구 (First Mover Advantage in the Internet Marketplace)

  • Despite our extensive understanding on the Internet business and widely understood first-mover advantage. it is not clearly answered yet whether an internet firm can enjoy the first-mover advantage in the new environment of the Internet. This is mainly because the Internet marketplace itself has a complex combination of various business models, ranging from a simple channel-extension to a whole new business model. Based on new theoretical development on the first-mover advantage, we empirically test whether being an early mover in the Internet environment materially affects firm performance, using clickstream data from Korea where broadband Internet installation is ranked as top among OECD countries. Our results show the effectiveness of first-mover advantage on the web does not exist, regardless of its business model and competitive environment. This result expands our understandings on the e-business, not to mention of the real feature of first-mover advantage.

Recommendation Method for Social Service in Ubiquitous Environment

  • Recent development of information technologies produces a lot of community services. Social Network Service is one of the community services on the world wide webs. In the Social Network Service, a user can register other users as friends and enjoy communication through a virtual message. Previous researches show a few social service methods using manually generated tagging. However, the manual social tagging is not widely used in many social network services. Moreover, they do not consider ubiquitous computing environment. We propose a recommendation method for social service using contexts in ubiquitous environment. Our method scores documents based on context tags and social network services. Our social scoring model is computed by both a tagging score of a document and a tagging score of a document that was tagged by a user's friends.
