터보 냉동기용 핀 튜브에 관한 연구(II) - 비등 열전달에 관하여 - (A Study on Finned Tube Used in Turbo Refrigerator(II) - on boiling heat transfer -)

  • This work studies for heat transfer and pressure drop performance of integral inner and outer fin tubes, designed to enhance the heat transfer performance of smooth tubes for in recipro and turbo refrigerator or high performance compact heat exchangers. Eight different inner spiral fin copper tubes with integral fin at outside surfaces were employed to improve boiling heat transfer coeffcient. For comparison, tests were made using a plain tube having the inside diameter and an outside diameter equal to that at the root of the fins for the finned tubes. Pool boiling heat transfer is investigated experimentally and theoretically on single tube arrangement. The refrigerant evaporates at a saturation state of 1 bar on the outside tube surface heated by hot water. The refrigerant R11 ($CFCl_3$) was used at a pressure of $P_s=1bar$ as a convenient test fluid with a boiling temperature of $T_s=23.6^{\circ}C$. The observed heat transfer enhancement of boiling for finned tubes significantly exceeded that to be expected on grounds of increased area. The maximum Vapor - side enhancement(i.e., vapor - side heat transfer coefficient of finned tube/vapor - side coefficient for plain tube) was found to be around 4 at 1299fpm - 30grooves tube.

도서관 유튜브(YouTube) 채널의 활성화 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Methods for Activating Libraries' YouTube Channel)

  • 5G 시대 단말기의 다양화, 고화질 및 몰입형 중심의 SNS 전개로 동영상 중심의 소셜 미디어 패러다임이 계속적으로 심화되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 공공도서관에서 운영되고 있는 유튜브 채널의 운영과 제공 콘텐츠 현황에 대한 분석을 통해 다양한 활용 전략과 방안을 제안하는 데 있다. 본 연구에서는 도서관 유튜브 채널을 개설 및 운영하고 있는 국내의 44개 도서관과 구독자 수 1,000명 이상 도서관 유튜브 채널을 활발하게 활용하고 있는 국외 도서관 12개를 대상으로, 도서관 유튜브 채널의 구독자 수, 조회 수, 비디오 수 데이터 현황, 그리고 콘텐츠 내용과 전달 방식을 조사하였다. 분석 결과를 종합하여, 1) 도서관 유튜브 채널만이 가지는 특수성과 목적성을 확보, 2) 유튜브 채널의 홍보 및 접근성 제고, 3) 공공도서관에서 개설 및 운영하는 유튜브 채널임을 명시, 4) 이용자 친화적인 인터페이스로의 개선, 5) 도서관 전문성과 교육적 콘텐츠를 기획 및 제공, 6) 통합 유튜브 채널의 운영, 7) 이용자 기반 콘텐츠 제공 등의 도서관 유튜브 채널 활용방안을 제안하였다.

  • For the successful design of heat exchangers, it is very important to understand local heat transfer characteristics on the circular cylinder of the cross flow heat exchangers. In this study, the heat exchanger using screen is developed to enhance heat transfer. The naphthalene sublimation technique is employed to measure the local heat transfer coefficients in the heat exchanger. The experiments are performed for single circular tube, in-line array tube bank with and without heat transfer promoter. Local Nusselt numbers of single circular tube and tube bank with heat transfer promoter are investigated and compared to those of without heat transfer promoter.

국부적 변형 집중 저감을 통한 액압 성형성 개선연구 (Enhancement of Hydroformability Through the Reduction of the Local Strain Concentration)

  • Bursting during tube hydroforming is preceded by localized necking. The retardation of the initiation of necking is a means to enhance hydroformability. Since high strain gradients occur at the necking sites, a decrease in local strain gradients is an effective way to retard the initiation of necking. In the current study, the expansion at potential necking sites was intentionally restricted in order to reduce the strain gradient at potential necking sites. From the strain distribution obtained from FEM, it is possible to determine strain concentrated zones, which are the potential necking sites. Prior to the hydroforming of a trailing arm, an incompressible material(such as lead) is attached to the tube where the strain-concentrated zone would contact the die. Due to the incompressibility of lead, the tube expansion is locally restricted, and the resultant strain extends to adjacent regions of the tube during hydroforming. After the first stage of hydroforming, the lead is removed from the tube, and the hydroforming continues to the final targeted shape without any local restriction. This method was successfully used to fabricate a complex shaped automotive trailing arm that had previously failed during traditional hydroforming fabrication.

맥동관 냉동기 열교환기에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Heat Exchangers in the Pulse Tube Refrigerator)

  • A basic pulse tube refrigerator has been constructed with extensive instrumentation to study the characteristics of the heat exchanger experimentally under the oscillating pressure and the oscillating flow. This paper describes the sequential experiments with the basic pulse tube refrigerator. The experiments were performed for various cycle frequencies under the square pressure wave forms. First, the heat flux was measured through the cycle at the both cold and warm end heat exchangers without the regenerator. In order to enhance the thermal communication capability of the heat exchanger with the gas at low operating frequencies, a unique design of the triangular shape radial fin concept was applied to the heat exchangers. For the fin heat exchanger, the measured heat flux and the calculated heat flux from the two well-known oscillating heat transfer correlations were compared and discussed. Second, the regenerator was added to the pulse tube to make a basic pulse tube refrigerator configuration. The experiment showed the great impact of the regenerator on the temperature and the heat flux profiles. At the warm-end, the cyclic averaged heat flux had its maximum value at the specific operating frequency. The paper presents the explanation of the surface heat pumping effect as well as the experimental data.

와이어붙이관의 핵비등 열전달촉진 (Enhancement of Nucleate Pool Boiling of a Wire-Wrapped Tube)

  • In this study, experimental results of the nucleate boling of wire-wrapped tubes are provided. Both water and R-113 were boiled. Solid stainless steel wires, stranded copper wires and stranded nylon wires were tested. Solid stainless wire is effective to enhance the boiling of water. The performance is approximately the same(or slightly better at certain conditions) as that of GEWA-T tubes. For the test range of wire diameter 0.6 $mm{\le}d{\le}2.6 mm$, the optimum gap width increases as the wire diameter increases. The maximum heat transfer coefficient was obtained for the 1.0 mm diameter wire, and it is 1.6 times larger than that of the GEWA-T at the heat flux of 20 $kW/m^{2}.$ Solid stainless wire is also effective to enhance the boling of R-113 at low heat fluxes. The performance of the wire-wrapped tube approaches that of GEWA-T. At high heat fluxes, however, the enhancement decreases. The reason may be attributed to the cavity shape and the high wettability of the refrigerants. Stranded copper or nylon wire is effective to enhance the boiling of R-113. The performance is approximately the same(or slightly better) as that of GEWA-T tubes. Maximum heat transfer was obtained for the stranded nylon wire, and it is approximately 1.4 times larger than that for the GEWA-T at the heat flux of 20 $kW/m^{2}.$ The reason may be atrributed to the favorable thermal environment in the restricted regions formed by twisted wires.

초고속 열차 시스템을 위한 튜브 구조물의 기밀성 평가 : II. 시스템 실험 및 파라메터 해석 (Air-tightness Evaluation of Tube Structures for Super-speed Tube Railway Systems: II. System Test and Parametric Analysis)

  • 본 논문에서는 시공이음 및 세그먼트 연결부 등 불연속 구간을 포함하고 있는 튜브 구조물에 대한 기밀성 평가를 위해 실험에 기초한 연구를 수행하였다. 실제 진공튜브 시스템을 위해 적용 가능한 콘크리트 라이닝을 최대한 모사할 수 있도록 콘크리트 관 1개로 구성된 일체형 튜브(N1) 1기, 동 콘크리트 관 두 개를 연결시킨 연결식 튜브 시험체(N2) 1기, 그리고 콘크리트 세그먼트형 튜브(S) 1기 등 총 3기의 시험체를 제작하여 각 시험체에 대해 내부 기압을 0.1atm로 낮춘 후 시간에 따른 내부 기압의 변화를 측정하였다. 기밀성 실험 결과 얻어진 흐름 곡선으로부터 시스템의 등가 투기계수를 산출하였는데 이음부가 많을수록 시스템의 등가투기계수는 높아지는 경향을 보였다. 또한 실험 결과를 바탕으로 가정된 튜브 단면 변화에 따른 기밀성의 민감도를 해석적으로 분석하였는데 튜브 구조물의 두께 및 직경이 커질수록 시스템 기밀성이 더 향상될 뿐 아니라 기밀성 보강의 효과가 더욱 커진다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

흡수식 냉동기의 재생기에 사용되는 전열촉진관의 관 내측 열전달계수 및 마찰계수에 대한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Tube-Side Heat Transfer Coefficients and Friction Factors of the Enhanced Tubes Used in Regenerators of Absorption Chillers)

  • 전열 촉진관은 흡수식 냉동기에 널리 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 흡수식 냉동기의 재생기에 주로 사용되는 평활관, 리브 튜브, 코류게이트 튜브, 플로랄 튜브에 대하여 관 내측 열전달계수 및 마찰계수를 측정하였다. 실험 결과 열전달계수 및 마찰계수는 코류게이트 튜브에서 가장 크게 나타나고 다음으로 리브 튜브에서 크게 나타났다. 한편 플로랄 튜브의 열전달계수 및 마찰계수는 평활관 값과 4% 내에서 일치하였다. 이로부터 플로랄 튜브의 열전달 및 압력손실 특성이 수력직경으로 적절히 표현될 수 있음을 알 수 있다. 실험 데이터로부터 코류게이트 튜브와 리브 튜브의 B(e+)와 g(e+) 상관식을 구하였는데 코류게이트 튜브의 B(e+)와 g(e+)는 기존 상관식의 예측치와 20% 내에서 일치하였다. 본 연구 결과는 고온 영역에서 재생기용 전열촉진관의 관 내측 열전달 계수 및 마찰계수 산정에 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

The Modeling of the Differential Measurement of Air Pressure for Non-intrusive Sleep Monitoring Sensor System

  • The respiratory and heart beat signals are the fundamental physiological signals for sleep monitoring in the home. Using the air mattress sensor system, the respiration and heart beat movements can be measured without any harness or sensor on the subject's body which makes long term measurement difficult and troublesome. The differential measurement technique between two air cells is adopted to enhance the sensitivity. The concept of the balancing tube between two air cells is suggested to increase the robustness against postural changes during the measurement period. With this balancing tube, the meaningful frequency range could be selected by the pneumatic filter method. The mathematical model for the air mattress and balancing tube was suggested and the validation experiments were performed for step and sinusoidal input. The results show that the balancing tube can eliminate the low frequency component between two cells effectively. This technique was applied to measure the respiration and heart beat on the bed, which shows the potential applications for sleep monitoring device in home. With the analysis of the waveform, respiration intervals and heart beat intervals were calculated and compared with the signal from conventional methods. The results show that the measurement from air mattress with balancing tube can be used for monitoring respiration and heart beat in various situations.

저층수 흡입식 광역 순환장치의 설계변수에 따른 배출량 및 소비동력 변화 특성에 대한 수치 해석 연구 (Numerical Analysis on Changes in Flowrate of Draft Water and Power by Changing Design Parameters of a Long-Distance Water Circulation)

  • A draft tube which has impeller to elevate bottom water and spread it over surface of lake water, induces convective circulation of lake water, a Long-Distance Circulation (LDC). Circulation of lake water make stratified water mixed and enhance DO (Dissolved Oxygen) of bottom water. Circulation rate of water is determined by draft rate of the tube, which is dependent on design parameters of the draft tube system, i. e. dimension of impeller and diffuser, inclined angle of impeller, impeller shape, and rotational speed. In this study, change in draft rate and power consumption of circulation equipment was investigated numerically with changing impeller dimension, angle and rotational speed. It was found that flowrate of draft water was increased as the dimensions of draft tube and impeller, and rotational speed and inclined angle of impeller increased. The power consumption was also elevated with increasing parameter values, and final selection of parameter values was made to satisfy target flowrates and power consumption.
