LIBS 분광기를 이용한 폐소형가전 플라스틱 패턴 분류기의 설계 (Design of Pattern Classifier for Electrical and Electronic Waste Plastic Devices Using LIBS Spectrometer)

  • 선풍기, 오디오, 전기밥솥 등의 소형 산업가전제품들은 대부분 ABS, PP, PS 등의 재질로 이루어져 있다. 색깔이 있는 플라스틱은 근적외선(NIR) 분광기에 의해 분류가 가능하지만, 반면에 검은색 플라스틱은 빛을 흡수하는 특성으로 인해 분류하기가 어렵다. 그래서 본 연구에서는 LIBS(Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) 분광기를 통해 폐소형가전 플라스틱을 선별하는 RBFNNs(Radial Basis Function Neural Networks) 패턴 분류기를 소개한다. 전처리부분에는 차원축소 알고리즘 중 하나인 PCA(Principal Component Analysis)를 사용해 처리 속도를 향상시킬 뿐만 아니라 효과적인 데이터의 특성을 추출한다. 조건부에는 FCM(Fuzzy C-Means) 클러스터링을 사용한다. 결론부에는 다항식의 형태 중 하나인 1차 선형식을 연결가중치로서 사용한다. PSO와 5-fold cross validation은 성능의 신뢰도를 향상시키고, 분류율을 높이는데 사용된다. 제안된 분류기의 성능은 최적화한 것과 최적화하지 않은 것 두 가지의 관점에서 보여준다.

표면개질에 따른 탄소섬유복합재의 마찰마모 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Friction and Wear Characteristics of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics by Surface Modification)

  • The objective of the present study was to investigate the characteristics of the friction and wear according to the amount of ion-irradiation for the carbon fiber reinforced plastic(CFRP). Unidirectional carbon fiber reinforced composites were fabricated with epoxy resin as a matrix and carbon fiber as a reinforcement, and its surface was modified by the ion-assisted reaction. When the amount of ion-irradiation was $1{\times}10^{16}$ ions/$cm^2$, the friction coefficients of composites were about 0.1 and the wear mode was stable, whereas, the friction coefficient of non-treatment composites were about 0.16 and the wear mode was very unstable. But if the amount of ion-irradiation was $5{\times}10^{16}$ ions/$cm^2$, the friction coefficients were higher rather than that of $1{\times}10^{16}$ ions/$cm^2$. Consequently, the amount of ion-irradiation was not in proportion to the friction coefficients, and it was conformed that the optimal conditions would exist between broth of them.

FRP제품 가공시 발생하는 분진 및 악취 제거 시스템 개발 (System Development of Removing Dust and Odor from Manufacturing Process of FRP Products)

  • 본 연구에서는 fiber reinforced plastics (FRP) 제품 가공시 발생하는 분진 및 악취 물질로 인한 작업현장의 악조건을 개선하기 위하여 activated carbon fiber (ACF) 장착 하이브리드 백필터를 개발하였다. FRP 제조업체 2개사에 ACF 백필터를 설치함에 있어 천장, 벽하단 부분에 덕트를 설치함은 물론 이동식 집진 덕트를 설치함으로써 집진효율을 높였다. 펄스젯트식 탈진방식을 채택하여 효과적인 시스템 운영을 유도함으로써 작업환경을 개선하고자 하였다. 하이브리드 백필터 시스템 운용시 이에 따르는 분진과 악취에 대한 제거동향을 고찰하였다.

Development of High Corrosion Resistant $Mo_2NiB_2$ Boride Base Cermets for Plastic Injection Molding Machine Parts

  • Injection molding of corrosive super engineering plastics and engineering plastics with various fillers is conducted under severe conditions and causes corrosion and wear problems. We have developed $Mo_2NiB_2$ boride base cermets, which have excellent corrosion-and wear-resistances, and tried to apply them into plastic molding machine parts. In this paper, the effects of V substitution for Cr on the mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and microstructure of Ni-5.0B-51.0Mo-(17.5-X)Cr-XV (mass%) model cermets were investigated. Both transverse rupture strength (TRS) and hardness increased monotonically with increasing V content and reached 2.94GPa and $87.2R_A$ at 10.0%V, respectively. The improvements of TRS and hardness were attributed to microstructural refinement.

  • The use of engineering plastic products in internal combustion engine and electric cars to improve stiffness and reduce weight is increasing significantly. Among various lightweight materials, engineering plastics have significant advantages such as cost reduction, improved productivity, and weight reduction. In particular, engineering plastics containing glass fibers are used to enhance stiffness. However, the stiffness of glass fibers can increase or decrease depending on their orientation. Before developing plastic products, optimal designs are determined through injection molding and structural analysis to enhance product reliability. However, reliable analysis of products with variable stiffnesses caused by anisotropy cannot be achieved via the conventional isotropic structural analysis, which does not consider anisotropy. Therefore, based on the previously reported study "the Effect of Impacted Fracture in Glass Fiber Orientation with Injection Molding & Structural Coupled Analysis," this study aims to investigate the structural analysis and degradation mechanisms of various polymers. In particular, this study elucidates the actual mechanism of plastic fracture by analyzing various fracture conditions and their corresponding simulations. Furthermore, the objective of this study is to apply the injection molding and structural coupled analysis mechanism to develop engineering plastic products containing glass fibers. In addition, the study aims to apply and improve the plastic fracture mechanism in actual products by exploring anisotropy and stiffness reduction owing to the unfilled polymer weld line.
