The MobileNetV3 is specially designed for mobile devices with limited memory and computing power. To reduce the network parameters and improve the network inference speed, a new lightweight network is proposed based on MobileNetV3. Firstly, to reduce the computation of residual blocks, a partial residual structure is designed by dividing the input feature maps into two parts. The designed partial residual structure is used to replace the residual block in MobileNetV3. Secondly, a dual-path feature extraction structure is designed to further reduce the computation of MobileNetV3. Different convolution kernel sizes are used in the two paths to extract feature maps with different sizes. Besides, a transition layer is also designed for fusing features to reduce the influence of the new structure on accuracy. The CIFAR-100 dataset and Image Net dataset are used to test the performance of the proposed partial residual structure. The ResNet based on the proposed partial residual structure has smaller parameters and FLOPs than the original ResNet. The performance of improved MobileNetV3 is tested on CIFAR-10, CIFAR-100 and ImageNet image classification task dataset. Comparing MobileNetV3, GhostNet and MobileNetV2, the improved MobileNetV3 has smaller parameters and FLOPs. Besides, the improved MobileNetV3 is also tested on CPU and Raspberry Pi. It is faster than other networks

Global efforts continue with the goal of transition to a "carbon neutral (net zero)" society with zero carbon emissions by 2050. For this purpose, the technology of water electrolysis is being developed, which can store electricity generated from renewable energies in large quantities and over a long period of time as hydrogen. Recently, various research and large-scale projects on 'green hydrogen', which has no carbon emissions, are being conducted. In this paper, a comparison of water electrolysis technologies was carried out and, based on data provided by the International Energy Agency (IEA), large-scale water electrolysis demonstration projects were analyzed by classifying them by technology, power supply, country and end user. It is expected that through the analysis of large-scale water electrolysis demonstration projects, research directions and road maps can be provided for the development/implementation of commercial projects in the future.

Oceanic current maps in the secondary school science and earth science textbooks have played an important role in piquing students's inquisitiveness and interests in the ocean. Such maps can provide students with important opportunities to learn about oceanic currents relevant to abrupt climate change and global energy balance issues. Nevertheless, serious and diverse errors in these secondary school oceanic current maps have been discovered upon comparison with up-to-date scientific knowledge concerning oceanic currents. This study presents the fundamental methods and strategies for constructing such maps error-free, through the unification of the diverse current maps currently in the textbooks. In order to do so, we analyzed the maps found in 27 different textbooks and compared them with other up-to-date maps found in scientific journals, and developed a mapping technique for extracting digitalized quantitative information on warm and cold currents in the East Sea. We devised analysis items for the current visualization in relation to the branching features of the Tsushima Warm Current (TWC) in the Korea Strait. These analysis items include: its nearshore and offshore branches, the northern limit and distance from the coast of the East Korea Warm Current, outflow features of the TWC near the Tsugaru and Soya Straits and their returning currents, and flow patterns of the Liman Cold Current and the North Korea Cold Current. The first draft of the current map was constructed based upon the scientific knowledge and input of oceanographers based on oceanic in-situ measurements, and was corrected with the help of a questionnaire survey to the members of an oceanographic society. In addition, diverse comments have been collected from a special session of the 2013 spring meeting of the Korean Oceanographic Society to assist in the construction of an accurate current map of the East Sea which has been corrected repeatedly through in-depth discussions with oceanographers. Finally, we have obtained constructive comments and evaluations of the interim version of the current map from several well-known ocean current experts and incorporated their input to complete the map's final version. To avoid errors in the production of oceanic current maps in future textbooks, we provide the geolocation information (latitude and longitude) of the currents by digitalizing the map. This study is expected to be the first step towards the completion of an oceanographic current map suitable for secondary school textbooks, and to encourage oceanographers to take more interest in oceanic education.
In 600 MWe CANDU-PHW reactors PMCR will be used on-site for calibration of the regional overpower system. PMCR will be executed off-line in one of the station computers. The program calculates accurate channel power maps by incorporating a fuel turnup dependent flux to power conversion algorithm. Fuel turnup is calculated by PMCR, hence it is independent of other software. Extensive comparisons with the uniform flux/power conversion approximations were made. Significant improvements in power mapping accuracy are achieved with PMCR.
Based on the capture-emission energy (CEE) maps of CMOS devices, a physics-informed machine learning model for the bias temperature instability (BTI)-induced threshold voltage shifts and low frequency noise is presented. In order to incorporate physics theories into the machine learning model, the integration of artificial neural network (IANN) is employed for the computation of the threshold voltage shifts and low frequency noise. The model combines the computational efficiency of IANN with the optimal estimation of Gaussian mixture model (GMM) with soft clustering. It enables full lifetime prediction of BTI under various stress and recovery conditions and provides accurate prediction of the dynamic behavior of the original measured data.

Solar energy is a viable source to replace fossil fuels. However, challenges associated with site selection for solar panel installation inhibit the uptake of solar energy systems. Expressway slopes offer a potentially attractive alternative for solar panel installation for the following reasons: expressway slopes are vacant public sites, they are abundant (about 4,193km in South Korea), and they are linear in nature. Traditoinally when selecting sites for solar systems conventional surveying methods are employed. Unfortunately, these methods can be dangerous, time consuming, and labor intensive. To overcome these limitations of conventional site selection methodologies, we propose an automated approach using numerical maps. First, contour and expressway polylines are extracted separately from numeric maps. The extracted contour lines are then converted into a digital terrain model; this is used to calculate aspect and slope information. Next, the extracted expressway lines are projected onto a binary image and refined to recover the disconnections, and then applied to create a buffer zone to narrow the search space. Finally, all data sets are overlaid to identify candidate sites for solar panel systems and are visually verified through comparisons with aerial photos.
The greenhouse gas emission according to the energy consumption is the cause of global warming. With various climates, it is occurs the direct problems to ecosystem. The various studies are being to reduce the carbon dioxide, which accounts for more than 80% of the total greenhouse gas emissions. In this study, estimate the carbon usage using potential biomass extracted from forest type map according to land-use by satellite image, and estimate the amount of carbon dioxide, according to the energy consumption of urban area. The $CO_2$ adsorption is extracted by the amount of forest based on the direct absorption of tree, the other used investigated value. The $CO_2$ emission in Jecheon was 3,985,900 $TCO_2$ by energy consumption. At the land cover classification, the forest is analyzed as 624,085ha and the farmland is 148,700ha. The carbon dioxide absorption was estimated at 1,834,850 Tons from analyzed forest. In case of farmland, it was also estimated at 706,658 Tons.
Energy minimization and conformational studies of molecular ions generated by ESI (electrospray ionization) tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) can be used for the discrimination of stereoisomeric permethylated and sodium cationized trisaccharides. Sets of fucose-containing trisaccharides having different internal and terminal linkages have been synthesized to analyze the reducing terminal linkage positions using BT and IT fusion approaches. A detailed investigation has been undertaken on the conformational behaviors of four trisaccharide fragments from human milk and blood group determinants of Type 1 and Type 2, namely Fuc($\alpha$1- 3)Gal($\beta$1-3)GalNAc and Fuc($\alpha$1-3)Gal($\beta$1-X)GlcNAc where X = 3, 4 and 6 using molecular modeling methods. Three dimensional rigid and adiabatic phi-psi-energy maps (Surfer program) describing the energy as a function of rotation around corresponding glycosidic linkages were calculated by SYBYL molecular modeling and MM4 force field programs conjunction with cleavage energies of ESI MS/MS for the side group orientations. This approach predicted conformational behaviors exhibited by isomer saccharides for future applications on biologically active glycoconjugates and to exploit a faster method of synthesizing a series of structural isomeric oligosaccharides.
In nuclear-related facilities, such as nuclear power plants, research reactors, accelerators, and nuclear waste storage sites, radiation detection, and mapping are required to prevent radiation overexposure. Sensor network systems consisting of radiation sensor interfaces and wxireless communication units have become promising tools that can be used for data collection of radiation detection that can in turn be used to draw a radiation map. During data collection, malfunctions in some of the sensors can occasionally occur due to radiation effects, physical damage, network defects, sensor loss, or other reasons. This paper proposes a reproduction strategy for radiation maps using a U-net model to compensate for the loss of radiation detection data. To perform machine learning and verification, 1,561 simulations and 417 measured data of a sensor network were performed. The reproduction results show an accuracy of over 90%. The proposed strategy can offer an effective method that can be used to resolve the data loss problem for conventional sensor network systems and will specifically contribute to making initial responses with preserved data and without the high cost of radiation leak accidents at nuclear facilities.

This study was conducted to find the suitability site for the construction of Saemangeum horticulture complex taking into account cost-effective environmental management by analyzing and comparing meteorological conditions. By overlapping the thematic maps, we extracted the regions that scored 50-59 points as suitable sites for the development project. Of these pre-selected sites, we selected the final candidate region for the protected horticulture by overlapping the sites selected for agricultural and living environment construction. The results of this study will contribute to generating added values by minimizing the environmental management costs for horticulture and landscaping. The operation of a large-scale protected horticulture and landscaping in the Saemangeum Complex will enhance the agricultural competitiveness of our country in the global market.
