  • In this work, we have modeled and fabricated microcavity-enhanced OLED using the 1-dimensional distributed Bragg reflector model (DBR). Results show that simulated spectrum intensity of microcavity OLED increased more than 30% compared to the conventional OLED, by use of DBR with $TiO_2$ and $SiO_2$. Spectral change of green and blue emission was expected to give the deeper color. The experimental design and characterization as well as the matching with simulated properties were performed for microcavity OLED for actual application.

  • In this study, a simple moment-resisting precast concrete beam-column connection is proposed for highly seismic zone using dywidag ductile rod [DDC]. DDC is superior system for ductility, energy dissipation capacity, connection strength, and drift capacity. A study was carried out to investigate the connection behavior subjected to cyclic inelastic loading. Four Precast beam-column interior connections and one monolithic connection will be tested. The variables will be examined were the strength relationship between joint's ductile rod and beam reinforcement for gain energy dissipation capacity. The specimens will be tested only reverse cyclic loading in accordance with a prescribed displacement history. Connection performance is evaluated on the basis of ductility, energy dissipation capacity, connection strength, and drift capacity. the precast connection using DDC is capable of matching of exceeding the performance of the monolithic connection and thereby provides moment-resisting behavior.

  • In this paper, energy absorption characteristics of circular windowed tubes with different section shapes (circular, ellipse, square, hexagon, polygon and pentagon) are investigated numerically and experimentally. The tube possesses the same material, thickness, height, volume and average cross sectional area which are subjected under axial and oblique quasi-static loading conditions. Numerical model was constructed with FE code ABAQUS/Explicit, the obtained outcome of simulation is in good matching with the experimental data. The energy absorbed, specific energy absorption, crash force efficiency, peak and mean loads along with the collapse modes with their initiation point of simple and windowed tubes were evaluated. The technique for order of preference by similarity ideal solution (TOPSIS) approach was employed for assessing their overall crushing performances. The obtained results confirm that efficacy of crash force indicators have improved by introducing windows and tubes with pentagonal and circular windows achieves the maximum ranking about 0.528 and 0.517, it clearly reveals the above are best window shapes.

  • These days, although thermal energy is decreasing, electric energy is increasing in building. Also, it is very important to research and distribute BIPV(Building Integrated photovoltaic) because our society consider electricity more significant than other energy in building. Therefore, in this paper, our research team analyzed difference between BIPV yield and building energy consumption through experimental research. As a result, yearly building energy consumption was 104,602.4kWh and BIPV yield was 105,267kWh. And then, totally counterbalanced time took up 26%, reduced electric load time took up 16%. In other words, peak load could be reduced up to 42% by BIPV. As a result, yearly building energy consumption was 104,602.4kWh and BIPV yield was 105,267kWh. • The purpose of this study is to find a formula that can easily calculate the effective photon energy in the X-ray beam of mammography. The tube voltage measured for each set tube voltage was obtained using the X2 MAM Sensor. The mass attenuation coefficient for aluminum of the aluminum filter was obtained from the half value layer measurement from each measured tube voltage X-ray beam. The mass attenuation coefficient of aluminum obtained from each measured tube voltage X-ray beam was corresponded to the mass attenuation coefficient of aluminum for each photon energy obtained from NIST. The photon energy corresponding to the matching mass attenuation coefficient was determined as the effective photon energy. The formula for calculating the determined effective photon energy was obtained by polynomial matching of the effective photon energy for each tube voltage in the Origin pro 2019b statistical program as y = 28.98968-1.91738x + 0.07786x2-0.000946717x3. Here, x is the measuring tube voltage and y is the effective photon energy. The calculation formula of the effective photon energy of the mammography X-ray beam obtained in this study is considered to be very useful in obtaining the interaction coefficient between the X-ray beam and a certain substance in clinical practice.

  • Geometric correction is a critical step to remove geometric distortions in satellite images. For correct geometric correction, Ground Control Points (GCPs) have to be chosen carefully to guarantee the quality of corrected satellite images. In this paper, we present an automatic approach for geometric correction by constructing GCP Chip database (GCP DB) that is a collection of pieces of images with geometric information. The GCP DB is constructed by exploiting Landsat's nadir-viewing property and the constructed GCP DB is combined with a simple block matching algorithm for efficient GCP matching. This approach reduces time and energy for tedious manual geometric correction and promotes usage of Landsat images.

  • The stress is an unavoidable result and a complex phenomenon in modern society. too, Human activity changes under control of the stress. The stress is a reaction to adrenalin or other stress hormones. It provides the power for fighting and the energy for going away from dangers. Because of the stress, our bodies increase the pulse, the blood pressure and the breath for more blood and more oxygen. So, in this research, we are measuring those which was increased by the stress. Also we will examine the change of HRV and APG on music. After that, in order to reduce the stress, we will design matching system that is based on the sense for music by using Zigbee.

  • Groundwater flow in confined aquifer and heat transport in underground geologic media are using same governing equation(line source) like well fuction. Therefore the conventional slope method using only later data obtained from in-situ thermal response test to determine the thermal conductivity of vertical geothermal heat exchanger(GHEX) is basically identical with one of Theis straight line method of aquifer test under artesian condition. In case that the pumping rate(Q, $m^3$/d) and drawdown(s,m) which are used for input data of existing hydrogeologic computer programs for aquifer test are replaced and converted to supplying heat energy per unit length of bore hole(Q/L,w/m or Kcal/h.m) and temperatures (T,$^{\circ}C$)measured at in and out-let of GHEX as in put data respectively, thermal conductivity around geothermal heat exchanger can be easily estimated without any special modification of the existing hydrogeologic computer program. Two numbers of time series temperature variation data obtained from in situ geothermal response test are analized using Theismethods(standard curve and straight line method) by using existing aquifer test program and conventional Slope method proposed by ASHRAE. The results show that thermal conductivity values estimated by two straight methods are identical and the difference of estimated values between standard curve methods and Slope method are also within acceptable ranges. In general, the thermal conductivity estimated from Theis straight linemethod gives more accurate value than the one of Slope method due to that Slope method uses only visual matching otherwise Theis method uses automatic curve matching estimation with reducing RSS.
