차대차 추돌사고 재현시험을 통한 경추염좌 상해 위험도 연구 (Whiplash Injury Case Studies through Low Speed Rear-end Crash Tests)

  • Whiplash injuries in low-speed rear-end collisions are the most common injuries and has been a social issue in insurance industry, such as excessive medical claim costs along with exaggerated injuries of victims and treatments from hospitals. According to the Korea Insurance Development Institute reports, the number of claims by rear-end collision was approximately 703,000, which accounts for 53.6 % of the total car-to-car collisions in 2014. Part of the neck injury claims in the Korea car insurance was approximately 28.3 %. Furthermore, approximately 98.4% of the injured persons in rear-end collisions sustained minor injuries under AIS2. In order to improve this situation as well as find out the severity of neck injuries from rear-end collision, the Korea Automobile Insurance Repair Research and Training Center conducted car-to-car rear-end crash tests that striking vehicles(SUV) collided into different sizes of struck-vehicles(small, middle, and large sedan) at the impact speeds of 8 km/h ~ 16 km/h. In order to analyze the whiplash injury, the BioRID-II was seated in each struck-vehicles, and the neck injury criteria(NIC), head contact time, maximum vehicle accelerations, and mean vehicle accelerations were calculated from values from the accelerations of the dummy and the struck-vehicles.

NGN 환경에 적합한 단대단 성능평가 방법 (The End-to-end Performance Evaluation Method on Next Generation Network)

  • NGN(Next Generation Network)이 약속하는 다양한 기능과 서비스가 제공될 수 있는가를 시험하고 평가하기 위해 평가방법이 필요하며 시험 대상 장치의 구성, 성능평가대상, 시험에 필요한 트래픽의 특성 등에 대한 개발이 요구되고 있다. 그간 IP패킷 성능평가방법으로 시뮬레이션(simulation)방법과 분석적 모델링(analytical modeling)방법 등 많은 연구가 수행되어 왔지만 아직까지 미흡한 실정이다. 본 논문은 NGN 통신망에 대하여 실제 운용환경과 유사한 조건을 만족시키고, 객관적이고 신뢰성 있는 성능 평가 방법을 도출하여 제시하였다. 이를 위해 시험용 트래픽(Test Traffic)과 백그라운드 트래픽(Background Traffic)을 개발하였고, IP 통신망과 동일한 장비로 구축된 시험망을 구성하여 NGN 서비스 특성을 고려한 대역폭, 패킷사이즈별로 성능평가를 수행하였다. 제안된 평가방법을 통해, 지연(Delay), 지연변이(Jitter) 손실(Loss)등의 성능평가결과를 기존의 평가방법의 결과와 비교하였을 때 제안된 평가방법이 단대단NGN 통신망의 성능평가방법으로 우수함을 입증하였다.

성찰일지를 이용한 임종간호교육이 간호대학생의 영성, 죽음의식 및 임종간호태도에 미치는 효과 (Effects of End-of-Life Care Education using Self-reflection Diary on Spirituality, Death Orientation, and Attitudes toward Nursing Care of the Dying Patients in Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 성찰일지를 이용한 임종간호교육이 간호대학생의 영성, 죽음의식, 임종간호태도에 미치는 영향을 평가하기 위함이다. 본 연구는 비동등성 대조군 사전사후 설계이며 대상자는 실험군 69명, 대조군 68명이었고, 교육은 매주 1회, 회기당 100분씩 총 12회기 시행하였다. 자료는 일반적 특성, 영성, 죽음의식, 임종간호태도로 구성된 구조화된 자가 보고식 설문지를 이용하여 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS Window version 21.0을 이용하여 빈도, 백분율, ${\chi}^2$ test, Fisher's exact test와 t-test로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 성찰일지를 이용한 임종간호교육 후 실험군은 대조군에 비해 영성과 임종간호태도가 유의하게 증가하였으나 죽음의식에는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 결론적으로, 성찰일지를 이용한 임종간호교육은 간호대학생들의 영성과 임종간호태도를 향상시키는데 효과적인 교육 프로그램이라 할 수 있다.

횡보강근이 없는 40, 60 MPa 콘크리트에서 철근 압축이음의 거동과 강도 (Behavior and Capacity of Compression Lap Splice in Unconfined Concrete with Compressive Strength of 40 and 60 MPa)

  • 현행 기준식에 따르면 초고강도콘크리트에서는 철근 인장이음길이보다 압축이음길이가 더 길어지는 현상이 발생된다. 초고강도콘크리트의 경제적 실용화를 위해 합리적인 압축이음강도의 평가가 필요하다. 이를 위해 압축이음의 거동 특성을 분석하고 영향인자를 도출하였으며, 설계강도 40, 60 MPa 콘크리트에 대한 압축이음 실험을 수행하였다. 압축이음강도는 부착과 지압으로 구성되고, 부착과 지압의 복합 거동에 의해 발현되므로, 압축이음 거동특성 및 강도평가를 위해서는 부착과 지압이 함께 존재하는 상태에서의 연구가 수행되어야한다. 인장이음과 달리 압축이음은 이음길이가 짧고 지압의 존재로 인해 콘크리트 강도의 영향이 크다. 실험결과 압축이음강도는 콘크리트의 제곱근에 비례하는 것으로 평가되었다. 부착과 지압 모두 주변 콘크리트의 응력상태에 따라 결정되는데, 콘크리트의 축방향 응력이 높기 때문에 철근 순간격 증가에 따른 이음강도 증가는 거의 없다. 지압강도는 이음길이와 철근 순간격에 무관하며, 콘크리트 강도의 제곱근의 함수로 표현할 수 있다. 파괴양상이 측면파열파괴와 유사하므로 지압강도는 앵커의 측면파열파괴 강도식을 활용하여 평가가 가능하다. 부착에 의해 발현되는 강도는 인장이음의 경우와 유사하므로, 인장이음강도에 비해 향상된 압축이음강도는 단부 지압효과로 설명될 수 있다.

  • We designed and implemented the RFIC(RF front-end IC) for DTV(Digital TV) tuner. The DTV tuner RF front-end consists of low noise IF amplifier fur the amplification of 900 MHz RF signal and down conversion mixer for the RF signal to 44MHz IF conversion. The RFIC is implemented on ETRI 0.8u high resistive (2㎘ -cm) and evaluated by on wafer, packaged chip test. The gain and IIP3 of IF amplifier are 15㏈ and -6.6㏈m respectively. For the down conversion mixer gain and IIP3 are 13㏈ and -6.5㏈m. Operating voltage of the IF amplifier and the down mixer is 5V, current consumption are 13㎃ and 26㎃ respectively.

SCM415강의 원형포켓 가공시 표면 거칠기에 관한 연구 (A Study on Surface Roughness in Circular Pocket Machining of SCM415 Steel)

  • In this study, we study the change of surface roughness during cutting machining by changing the cutting conditions such as feed rate and spindle velocity with chromium molybdenum steel (SCM415) material and TiCN and TiAlN coated end mill tools. The surface roughness value of the test specimen for SCM415, was found to be 3,000 rpm in TiCN coated end mill and $0.634{\mu}m$ in surface roughness at a feed rate of 100 mm/min. In the TiAlN coated end mill, 300 mm/min, the surface roughness was the best at $0.699{\mu}m$. The overall average surface roughness of each coating tool was better than that of TiAlN.

Experimental Study on Neck Injury in Low Speed Frontal and Rear-End Collisions

  • Motor vehicle accidents in rear impacts cause more than fifty percents of drivers to suffer from neck injuries. It is known that most neck injuries are associated with rear-end collisions at a speed lower than 32 km/h and between the Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) 1 and AIS 2. Two different types of low speed crash tests such as the frontal barrier and rear moving barrier crashes have been conducted by following the procedure of the Research Committee for Automobile Repairs (RCAR). The injury for the neck and the Head Injury Criteria (HIC) were measured by using the sensors mounted on dummies. We reviewed neck injures and the relationship between the neck and head injuries, and examined the deceleration of the body. Using the experimental test data at the neck, we investigated an improved neck injury criterion Nij. Also, the effects of the position of a head restraint on reducing the frequency and severity of the neck injury in rear-end collisions were investigated.

  • The front-end side members of automobiles absorb most of the energy in a front-end collision. The front-end side members are required to have a high stiffness together with easiness to collapse sequentially to absorb more impact energy. The axial static collapse test (5mm/mim) was conducted by using UTM with respect to the single hat shaped section members which are the standard section shape of the spot welded section members, to the single cap shaped section members, to the double cap shaped section members and to the double hat shaped section members whose section shape are changed in order to give more stiffness. As a result of test, the energy absorbing characteristic was analyzed for different section shapes. That is, it was analyzed that the change of section shape influenced the absorbing energy, the mean collapse load and the maximum collapse load, and that the relation between the change of section shape and the collapse mode.

Experimental study on a new type of assembly bolted end-plate connection

  • The bolted end-plate beam-column connections have been widely used in steel structure and composite structure because of its excellent seismic performance. In this paper, the end-plate bolted connection is applied in the concrete structure, A new-type of fabricated beam-column connections with end-plates is presented, and steel plate hoop is used to replace stirrups in the node core area. To study the seismic behavior of the joint, seven specimens are tested by pseudo-static test. The experimental results show that the new type of assembly node has good ductility and energy dissipation capacity. Besides, under the restraint effect of the high-strength stirrup, the width of the web crack is effectively controlled. In addition, based on the analysis of the factors affecting the shear capacity of the node core area, the formula of shear capacity of the core area of the node is proposed, and the theoretical values of the formula are consistent with the experimental value.
