  • According to glowing computing capacity, software in remote sensing has supported diverse processing interfaces from batch interface to high-end user interactive interface. In this paper, component based visual modeler is developed to process batch jobs for high-end users as well as novices. Visual modeler arranges several node groups which are categorized according to their purposes. These nodes carry out elemental unit processes and can be grouped to model. The model represents user specified job which is composed diverse nodes. User can organize models by connecting diverse nodes according to data flow model specification which rules node's connectivity and direction, etc. Furthermore, user defined models can be together to organize much more complex and large model.

  • User's qualities of services (QoS) are the basic requirements involved in distributed multimedia systems. Considering ATM network, ATM adapter cannot control the end-to-end connection satisfying the user's QoS. This paper describes the new concept of a QoS prediction management system in the distributed network and the configuration of it's QoS prediction management architecture and also discusses it's algorithm.

  • Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) has become the call control protocol of choice for Voice over IP (VoIP) networks because of its open and extensible nature. However, the integrity of call signaling between sites is of utmost importance, and SIP is vulnerable to attackers when left unprotected. Currently a herby-hop security model is prevalent, wherein intermediaries forward a request towards the destination user agent sewer (UAS) without a user agent client (UAC) knowing whether or not the intermediary behaved in a trusted manner. This paper presents an integrated security model for SIP-based VoIP network by combining hop-by-hop security and end-to-end security.

Effect of the ERP Quality on the Performance and Causal-Effect Analysis between Outcome Variables in the Contract Foodservice Management Company (위탁급식 전문업체 전사적자원관리(ERP) 품질이 업무 성과에 미치는 영향과 업무 성과 변수 간 인과관계 분석)

  • The purposes of this study were 1) to analyze the effect of the ERP quality (system quality, information quality, service quality) on the performance (end user satisfaction, user's performance, system utilization) of business, 2) to conduct the causal-effect analysis between outcome variables (user's satisfaction, user's performance, system utilization) of ERP in the contract foodservice management company. The questionnaires were distributed to 260 end users (dietitians, foodservice management managers) in charge of managing the institutional foodservice such as the office (government agencies, factories), schools (universities, middle and high school) and hospitals which were managed by contract foodservice management company 'C' in Seoul and Kyunggi. The surveys were performed from July 26, 2004 to July 30. 2004. Two hundred and fifty (250) questionnaires were responded (response rate: 96.2%). The statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS Win (11.5). And the descriptive analysis, factor analysis, reliability test, pearson correlation, simple and multiple regression analysis were performed. The results showed that among the 3 factors (system quality, information quality, service quality), the system quality and information quality were proved to have an effect on the user's satisfaction and user's performance significantly (p < .05). The influence of ERP quality (system quality, information quality, service quality) on system utilization were testified to be statistically significant (p < .05). The user's performance were affected significantly by system utilization (p < 0.001) and end user's satisfaction (p < 0.001). As a conclusion, to improve user satisfaction, which is the ultimate performance variable of an ERP system, high quality of an ERP system is the pre-requisite. And the user satisfaction and performance of business would be higher with the better quality ERP system. When constructing ERP system for the contract foodservice management company, we should improve system utilization and user satisfaction altogether so that user's performance could be ultimately enhanced and we should make efforts to enhance the quality level of ERP.   • As the next generation internet (NGI) is supporting High-speed in Gbps rate with the appearance of advanced network technologies, various applications that require high data rates. have been experimented and operated. By using high speed application services, many kinds of problems can be generated but we cannot easily grasp their reasons. However, if the user monitors the end-to-end one's flow data information (path and data rate in each router, state of each router) he can find them more accurately Until now, we have found out the fact that systems which can network-widely monitor end-to-end flow have not be developed yet, only simple systems which can monitor user's individual flow data at just one node are developed In this study, we suggest and materialize a system which can analyze bandwidth in real time by searching routing paths and measuring packet transfer rate between end-to-end flow data and supported flow traffic of using IPv6.

  • Current web accessibility checks and automatic assessments have been pointed out that the assessment items and scores are evaluated from the developer's point of view rather than from the user's one. In addition, although most of the grades of an automatic assessment on the public web sites are excellent because they are built in accordance with the web accessibility development guidelines, not a few web sites shows relatively low grades in evaluating their usability test made by those users. Taking into account the inadequacy of these web accessibility assessments, this study has identified the differences between the grades of usability evaluations and automatic evaluations for people with low vision and analyzed the major factors affecting web accessibility usability evaluations using Repertory Grid Techniques. Also, the Hard Laddering method of the Means-End Chain theory was adopted to visualize the relationship between Attributes-Conferences-Value and a hierarchical value system analysis based on FGI(Focused Group Interview) to people with the low vision. This study proposed the measures to improve the current web accessibility automatic assessment allocation, expert evaluation criteria, and user task assessment. In particular, it is a web accessibility user evaluation model that can consider the web accessibility quality certification criteria and user review assessment by directly analyzing the user cognitive structure and value system. This study is expected to be useful as a research to enhance the quality of web accessibility assessment.

  • The new innovation model that deals with agenda as sustainability, quality of life, societal challenges is emerging as NIS(National Innovation System) is needed to transit to post catch-up and creativity. To achieve this objective, there is a growing need for enhancing usage of ICT, end-user's needs, prolification of R&D results and social impact. Living Lab is the new innovation model that end-user's participation, co-work/network within actors and usage of user's experience and This study deal with Living Lab related R&D of ICT-based service from co-work with end-users. Example cases are Turku Archipelago Living Lab in Finland, and Living Lab projects in EU, EIT ICT Labs and ELLIOT. And the focus of case analysis is that reflection of user's needs and experience, and aspect of ICT usage.

User Value Analysis in Social Commerce Using Means-End Chain Theory (수단-목적사슬이론을 이용한 소셜커머스의 사용자 가치 분석)

  • With the spread of social networks, platform-based social commerce has grown rapidly with the use of multiple smart devices. Given the rapid growth of social commerce sites such as Coupang and Ticket Monster, it is very important to understand the user's purchase decision-making process in a social commerce environment. The purpose of this study is to develop a richer understanding of the goals of users using social commerce. Second, a methodological alternative for analyzing the user's goals is introduced. In this study, laddering interview and means-end chain analysis were used. As a result of interview conducted on 40 users who have more than 6 months of purchasing experience using social commerce, a hierarchical goal map showing the user's goal structure was derived. This map contains 22 ultimate goals of social commerce, including warm relationships with others, fun and enjoyment of shopping, accomplishment, satisfaction, financial saving, and convenience. In addition, there are various paths from activities to ultimate goals, so investigating the goals pursued by users can give us insight into understanding user.

Sentiment Analysis of Product Reviews to Identify Deceptive Rating Information in Social Media: A SentiDeceptive Approach

  • [Introduction] Nowadays, many companies are shifting their businesses online due to the growing trend among customers to buy and shop online, as people prefer online purchasing products. [Problem] Users share a vast amount of information about products, making it difficult and challenging for the end-users to make certain decisions. [Motivation] Therefore, we need a mechanism to automatically analyze end-user opinions, thoughts, or feelings in the social media platform about the products that might be useful for the customers to make or change their decisions about buying or purchasing specific products. [Proposed Solution] For this purpose, we proposed an automated SentiDecpective approach, which classifies end-user reviews into negative, positive, and neutral sentiments and identifies deceptive crowd-users rating information in the social media platform to help the user in decision-making. [Methodology] For this purpose, we first collected 11781 end-users comments from the Amazon store and Flipkart web application covering distant products, such as watches, mobile, shoes, clothes, and perfumes. Next, we develop a coding guideline used as a base for the comments annotation process. We then applied the content analysis approach and existing VADER library to annotate the end-user comments in the data set with the identified codes, which results in a labelled data set used as an input to the machine learning classifiers. Finally, we applied the sentiment analysis approach to identify the end-users opinions and overcome the deceptive rating information in the social media platforms by first preprocessing the input data to remove the irrelevant (stop words, special characters, etc.) data from the dataset, employing two standard resampling approaches to balance the data set, i-e, oversampling, and under-sampling, extract different features (TF-IDF and BOW) from the textual data in the data set and then train & test the machine learning algorithms by applying a standard cross-validation approach (KFold and Shuffle Split). [Results/Outcomes] Furthermore, to support our research study, we developed an automated tool that automatically analyzes each customer feedback and displays the collective sentiments of customers about a specific product with the help of a graph, which helps customers to make certain decisions. In a nutshell, our proposed sentiments approach produces good results when identifying the customer sentiments from the online user feedbacks, i-e, obtained an average 94.01% precision, 93.69% recall, and 93.81% F-measure value for classifying positive sentiments.
