Objective : This study aimed to explore the meaning of work experience of school-based occupatioanl therapists. Methods : This study was a phenomenological study. The participants were 7 school-based occupational therapists, all of whom were female with working experience of 5 years. One-on-One interviews were conducted with them about their work experience as school-based occupational therapists, and additional interview details were confirmed by e-mail. The interviews were recorded with the consent of the subjects. The researcher listened to the recordings several times prior to transcribing and analyzed the interviews according to Colaizzi's research method. Results : A total of 2 themes and 10 sub-themes were derived. Challenges and hopes were drawn as themes. The challenges theme included sub-themes administrative work burden, restriction of physical environment, lack of awareness of teachers, unstable employment, and legal restrictions. There were sub-themes such as sense of mission for children, team members with the same goal, children who want school-based occupational therapy, teacher' satisfaction, and responsibility for the development of school-based occupational therapy. Conclusion : Institutional improvement and policy support for school-based occupational therapy should be prepared to provide qualitatively improved school-based occupational therapy for special education subjects.

In those day, the Busan local government had instituted a rule to support and enhance competition as well as improve respect for the ship management industry. This study aims to extract the cause factors to enhance such competition using intuitionistic decision making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) and interpretive structural modeling (ISM) methods. First, eight factors were extracted from the specifications in the Ship Management Industry Development Act. Second, the intuitionistic fuzzy number was converted to a crisp number using the standard fuzzy number. Third, the influence relationship was analyzed using DEMATEL, and the priority ranks for the factors are determined using ISM. From the results of the impact relationship analysis, the three main cause factors were determined as improvement of technical ship management capability, improvement of expertise of manpower for onshore management, and improvement of the quality of the Korean seafarer. The priorities under the ISM method, in descending order, were as follows: improvement of the quality of Korean seafarers, improvement of professionalism among the manpower for shore management, improvement of technical ship management capability, improvement of commercial ship management capability, establishment of a comprehensive information system, improvement of the working conditions and employment environment for seafarers, financial support such as overseas orders, and strengthening the availability of foreign seafarers. Therefore, it is necessary to prioritize policy promotion based on these factors, especially the top three, as these have the highest impact.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the activity constraints due to disability on subjective health status and daily life satisfaction among disabled, and mediating effects of subjective health status on the relationship between activity constraints due to disability and daily life satisfaction. For this purpose, the response data of 3,809 people who participated in the 5th year of the 2nd Wave of the Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled (PSED) were used and analyzed. As a result, all sub-factors except for the degree of difficulties in hearing even when using hearing aids among activity constraints due to disability has a statistically significant negative effect on subjective health status, and all sub-factors has a significant negative effect on daily life satisfaction. And, subjective health status has a significant partial mediating effect on the relationship between all sub-factors except for the degree of difficulties in hearing even when using hearing aids among activity constraints due to disability and daily life satisfaction. Therefore, the level of activity constraint for the disabled should be reduced by providing systematic and differentiated customized rehabilitation programs that take into account the disability characteristics of the disabled, thereby improving the health level and social independence ability of the disabled. Furthermore, in order to improve the daily life satisfaction of the disabled, it is necessary to provide policy support such as the establishment of a community-based integrated support system for the disabled by linked rehabilitation program and health promotion program.

The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for the establishment of welfare facilities for baby boomers and the development of services and programs by studying the effects of baby boomers' preparation for old age on the intention to use welfare facilities for the elderly. The subjects of this study were 385 baby boomers (1955-1963) living in J city, Chungbuk. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to examine the factors influencing the intention to enter welfare facilities. The results of this study showed that baby boomers' preparation for old age did not have a significant effect on the intention to use the elderly welfare center, and only the economic preparation had a significant effect on the intention to use the senior club, and the emotional preparation had a significant effect on the intention to use the 50+ center and the baby boomer welfare center. Based on the results of this study, policy suggestions are as follows: First, senior clubs need to expand services for employment and start-up that can help prepare for economic retirement. Second, various job policies using baby boomers' skills and knowledge are needed. Third, the 50+ center and the baby boomer welfare center need to develop professional counseling and education programs for prevention and treatment of emotional and psychological problems. Fourth, it is necessary to provide and develop programs to promote interpersonal relations and social activities for emotional stability and support.

The Minister of Education has officially announced that the Ministry of Education will promote the integration of early childhood education and care. The core of integration is the integration of kindergartens and child care centers, and it is necessary to develop the specific model, so this study was conducted. After the discussion of integration, the discussion has focused on the "Young Children School", and there were differences of opinion on specific issues. Therefore, this study was conducted to propose the specific model for the "Young Children School" after kindergartens and child care centers were integrated with the Ministry of Education. The research question is to find out what the model of the 0-5-year-old young children school model centered on the Ministry of Education. In this study, assuming that integration of early childhood education and care was realized, a plan for integrating early childhood education institutions by type of establishment was proposed. As a conclusion of this study, first, a model of a 0-5-year-old young children school centered the Ministry of Education under the government responsibility is required. Second, a detailed school model that reflects the characteristics of each type of establishment should be developed. Finally, specific measures such as the reform of the teacher training system, the after-school course operation model, and the integration plan with the office of education and local governments should be presented during the young children school system.

We analyzed both current local policies and in-depth survey data to find out a way to provide job opportunity and income source to local young people in so-called job guarantee system. The young generation in current Korean society has been experiencing both growth without employment and severe economic inequality at the same time, though they should have taken part actively in social development. Their rights for work and survival have also been threatened and losing hope for the future is an widespread symptom in this generation. Kwangju metropolitan city(KMC) has been supporting certain amount of case income and job experience to young people in Kwangju through a local government policy called Kwangju Young Generation Job Experience Dream Service. In spite of high level of satisfaction from the participants, limitations such as below average job performance level of participants and a barrier in the transition to regular position still remain. This study hopes that a case of Kwangju gives pragmatic insights for a realizable path to expanding universal welfare through assuring job opportunity to the young generation in local area.

The inflow of Labor Migrants has been grown up to 600,000 people until now with the adoption of Employment Permit System (EPS) in 2004 until now. However the institutional support lack to ensure their rights and improve their conditions. This is because of their consideration ad temporary labors in South Korean society and labor forces rather than the objects of integration. As a result, the legal status and rights of migrant workers are criticized for their utilization rather than human rights, and human rights protection is insufficient. To this context, this paper analyzed the 19th presidential election pledge of the four political parties (Democratic Party, the Liberty Korea Party, Bareun Party and Justice Party) the majority of the Korean National Assembly, and predicted how the policies of migrant workers would evolve. The study found that there were two political parties that did not mention policies for migrant workers, and the remaining two parties also maintained their current policies. This is probably the biggest reason to recognize migrant workers as temporary residents. However, they should also be aware of the fact, that migrant workers are the members of the Korean society and are the owners of human rights that should be guaranteed, and should consider the policy directions to live with them.

Grit is a person's passion and perseverance that drive them to achieve long-term and meaningful goals. The purpose of this study was to identify practical resources that can affect single parents' grit. Using the fourth-year panel data from the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey 2018 (KCYPS 2018), descriptive statistics were produced and a correlation analysis was conducted for 284 single parents. Hierarchical regression analysis was also performed to explore the demographic factors, personal resources(psychological, lifestyle/health), and family resources(family relationships/child, economic) that affect single parents' grit. First, the correlation analysis revealed that single parents' grit had a significant correlation with age, education status, life satisfaction, happiness, self-esteem, smartphone dependency, physical activity time, frequency of breakfast consumption, household size, parent's satisfaction with child's school achievement and school adjustment, subjective family economic status, and private education expenses. Second, the hierarchical regression analysis revealed that education status, self-esteem, employment status, smartphone dependency, physical activity time, household size, parent's satisfaction with child's school achievement, and subjective family economic status were significant factors affecting single parents' grit. Based on the research results, this study suggests directions for programs and policies to provide a stable environment for single-parent families to raise their children.
The unprecedented pandemic of infectious diseases called COVID-19 has dampened human and material movement, and changes in the global economic structure have caused various economic and industrial problems such as worsening employment along with the domestic and international economic recession. In this crisis situation, the government announced the "New Deal" as a new card to enhance economic vitality following the "emergency disaster support fund." This means that the first business of the Digital New Deal, the beginning and core of the New Deal, begins digital transformation from collecting data, which is the "rice" of digital transformation to the data dam. Until now, not only the government but also local governments have established and operated platforms for collecting and sharing public data by establishing various data portals. It is evaluated that it lacks utilization for commercialization as not only the government but also local governments focus only on building the platform without considering the business model when building the initial public data platforms. In particular, in the case of regions, there is a lack of public data to be used for data business, so it is necessary to utilize data from public institutions in the region. In this study, various data collection, data quality improvement, and data utilization improvement were suggested as measures to solve these problems.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of absolute / relative poverty on the life satisfaction focusing on mediation effect of subjective social status by type of elderly residents. In order to analyze the distinct characteristics of the elderly, analysis was conducted with 3,327 the elderly living together and 668 the elderly living alone using 'Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing(KLoSA)' from 3rd to 5th wave data provided by the Korea Employment Information Service. The main analysis results are as follows. First, each poverty rate for the elderly living together accounted for 43.5 percent and 51.4 percent, while 63.8 percent and 77.2 percent for the elderly living alone respectively. Second, life satisfaction was higher among the elderly living together than living alone, However, life satisfaction was not related to condition of poverty among the elderly living alone. Third, absolute / relative poverty were associated with life satisfaction of the elderly living together, and subjective social status had a mediating effect. However, relative poverty was not related to life satisfaction among the elderly living alone, which indicated that it needs to support not only the financial approach to overcome absolute poverty but also the multi-dimensional poverty perspective in the intervention of the elderly living alone Based on the results, the study suggested to make a tool to measure of poverty using multi-dimensional poverty indicators.
