Librarians facing the new information environment need to actively cope with knowledge and skills, but librarians in outsourced public libraries are burdened with participation in external education due to concerns about work gaps or inadequate institutional support, making it difficult to continue their education. Therefore, in this study, in order to create an environment in which librarians can grow together, the current status of the activities of the learning community was checked and the effects were identified. An online survey was conducted from May 20 to 22, 2023, targeting librarians who had participated in learning community activities among librarians belonging to the Gangnam-gu Library, and 101 copies were distributed to collect 81 copies and use them as analysis data. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that librarians are satisfied with the activities of the learning community and have a high level of understanding and empathy for their necessity. Therefore, as a way to revitalize the learning community, we propose to form a culture that promotes collaboration among members, share visions and values for learning community activities, and provide institutional support.

As the share of leisure culture increases these days, expectations are rising for the high quality of culture while increasing interest in leisure and tourism. The percentage of the population going on weekend trips to broaden the horizons of elementary, middle and high school students has continued to rise in proportion to the expectations for cultural enjoyment. We expect that visitors' weekend family activities will include relaxing, playing and educational purposes. Recent educational programs have moved from the past where only children were allowed to be onsite, to a shared style in which parents can engage in educational activities, potentially leading to the implicit involvement of family ties and family elasticity. The effects of education are not expressed by the period that ends in a single moment of experience, but by the continuity of training and experience. The same holds true for family affinity, communication and empathy. Providing opportunities for family experience and education is a national responsibility for broken family and restoring solidarity with the growing number of single-person households. Furthermore, it is a duty of museums and galleries today, and it is necessary to come up with methods to enhance family solidarity and family affinity. In particular, it is imperative to develop and provide educational programs for educational purposes at the Education Museum, and to develop " education for family " at the social level. This paper aims to analyze the results of all family participating education programs provided by family education programs at the Education Museum through family surveys and interviews, and to enhance the activation of family types education programs more actively.

Purpose - This study empirically analyzes the effect of improvements in the quality of service management performance of college education on traders' conscious change of business management innovation and diverse sales expertise for a year. The use of traders' conscious changes and sales expertise as variables for the verification of the effects of parameters related to the active trader's traditional education market is a desirable direction. The method of research reflects the quality of education service, management result, traders' conscious changes, and sales expertise to understand the precise essence and definition of teaching quality at merchant colleges through theoretical consideration. Moreover, its impact on traders' conscious changes and sales expertise in empirical analysis acts as an intermediary. Research design, data, methodology - The hypothesis of this study leverages the SPSS statistical program. To gather actual proof, sample survey for theoretical research examined 262 valid papers of the 300 papers written by 10 merchants who graduated from merchant's university. First, using the SERVQUAL model, Parasuraman et al. (1996) indicated that for quality of education service, the configuration of factors is the same as the sympathetic performance, that is, responsiveness and empathy, and traders are aware of these elements. However, our preliminary investigation revealed that traders' university education has been excluded as a component of quality of service in the earlier studies. Moreover, we found that certainty of knowledge, reliability, and sympathy are influenced by challenges and by the changing intentions of merchant consciousness. In addition, our study confirms that improvements in convincing abilities and sales technique have a positive impact. Second, merchants' and traders' expertise are proven to affect business performance. In other words, university education of traders and merchants affects the consciousness of consumers, and changes patterns of sales. Third, the quality of service management education and change in the consciousness has a considerable impact on the trader, thereby maximizing business performance and acting as an intermediary for verification. Fourth, the quality of service management education affects the trader's sales expertise to maximize business performance. Results - To summarize, the quality of college educational services relates to the improvement of business performance and the role of the resulting virtuous cycle. Consequently, we can look for suggestions in the traditional markets, where the Government pays attention to the exterior environmental factors as well as to the changing business environment. However, the most important aspect is the merchant awareness. That is, a merchant should understand the distribution environment. Several competitor and trend analyses should be conducted to meet customers' expectations positively and proactively cope with any challenges related to changes. Further, expertise in sales and marketing skills need to be acquired to improve customer convincing abilities and develop a customer-oriented mindset. Conclusions - According to the changes in consumption trends of business enterprises, new management techniques are required to survive competition by improving traditional markets, which will necessitate more competitive education programs in merchant universities.

Nursing education using virtual reality simulation (VRS) has emerged as a new teaching method for improving nursing student's knowledge as well as of competency for clinical nursing skill. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of nursing education using VRS through an integrative analysis on quantitative and qualitative research. Through quality assessment on the total 382 studies, 17studies (12 quantitative and 5 qualitative) were finally selected. Contents of the 17 studies were reviewed and those with respect to four aspects were gathered: the condition, knowledge, and attitude for effective education using VRS, and the effects of nursing education using VRS on the practice. Readiness of the use of virtual reality device, mastsering of the platform, and interesting scenario were required condition for effective education. The effects of nursing education adopting virtual reality convergence simulation oin terms of knowledge, attitude, and practice included enhancement of the knowledge and extension of the knowledge, improvement in memorizing the process and sequence of the practice through repetitive education, and development of empathy ability and formation of rapport. Hence, adopting virtual reality to convergence simulation of nursing education can maximize the effect of the education.

In this study, the vision and goal of librarian education and training were designed by reflecting the changes in the internal and external environment of the library and the human resource development (HRD) trend in order to prepare a mid- to long-term development plan for librarian education and training. To design the vision and goal of librarian education and training, redefining the necessity, goals, mission, and role of librarian education and training, and seeking strategies to realize the vision and goal of librarian education and training. Core competency and national competency standards (A detailed implementation plan was prepared for the development of NCS) - based educational operation guidelines. First, when analyzing domestic and foreign prior research and literature, the future librarian is a person with competencies that includes first, creative convergence, second, communication and cooperation, third, leading professional, and fourth, empathic and inclusive talent. It was identified that education and training should be established based on The curriculum according to the library's future talents and core competencies should be presented in the following process model, and the librarian competencies for each type of creative convergence type, communication cooperation type, leading professional type, and empathy and inclusive type should be derived, and It was identified that the education direction should be set in the direction of designing a curriculum for job competency improvement by setting the job competency according to the requirements.

In order to improve the effectiveness of carbon neutrality in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, this study identifies the current state of social environmental education through literature research, excluding school environmental education being implemented in elementary, middle, and high schools in the province, and identifies shortcomings or problems. The purpose is to establish a plan to systematically and integratedly operate social environmental education, and the derived plan can be used as a guide to change environmental awareness and induce eco-friendly behavior to improve the effectiveness of carbon neutrality. As a result of the study, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province established a consultative body with environmental education institutions, organizations and expert groups operating dispersed throughout the province through the substantial operation and support of the environmental education center currently being entrusted, to identify the current status and develop content necessary for establishing environmental education policies, establishing a platform to enable information sharing, role division, regular communication, empathy, and policy feedback, and on-site environmental education centered on the field to stimulate emotions and personalize environmental problems so that environmental problems can be properly recognized. The purpose of this study was to develop a global citizenship education (GCE) program nurturing responsibility and proactive attitude as a global citizen. A storytelling based GCE program was developed using stories stimulating empathy, immersion, reflection, and change of perspective regarding global issues. An 8 hour program was developed, and implemented on 11th grade students (n=40). Students either listened to stories told by the teacher, or created stories on their own. Paired t-test results indicated an overall increase in global citizenship and interest in learning it. This study demonstrates that storytelling methods can help students understand abstract content easily by presenting it in a concrete way with context, increase fun in learning, and enable the use of various instructional strategies and media sources.

In the era of COVID-19 global pandemic, e-learning has become new standards and daily life in the name of 'new normal'. This study developed dialogue e-learning contents as opposed to monologue e-learning which is unidirectional and instructor centered and conducted qualitative user experience evaluation of dialogue e-learning contents. A total number of 20 adult students participated and were individually interviewed. Qualitative data analysis was performed. The findings include students' positive perceptions of dialogue e-learning contents such as empathy for various ideas and new format. With regard to personal preference, 55% of participants preferred dialogue e-learning contents because it enables them to focus and share real experiences. Meanwhile, in terms of learning effects, 60% participants selected monologue e-learning contents and mentioned adequate explanations of concepts and explicit information delivery. Based on the results, suggestions on the design and development of dialogue e-learning contents were presented.

The purpose of this study is to develop convergence major-based learning (CMBL), which selects performance tasks related to local problems at hand and solves them based on convergence major performance, and builds a suitable teaching and learning model. We developed a CMBL class with a team project-type class that finds and solves practical problems in the region to cultivate overall problem-solving capabilities for convergence major competencies. Additionally, for this class, the instructor played a role as a bridgehead to explore and connect the community's sites, and students visited connected institutions in person to identify problems they need based on understanding and empathy for the subjects through field observation and qualitative interviews, and developed a CMBL class teaching and learning model necessary to directly solve them by using their major capabilities to the fullest. Therefore, we intend to present the future-oriented direction of university convergence education required by the community by forming a group of students with various majors to cultivate the ability to solve realistic problems in the community.

This study aimed at exploring the influence of 'Healthy couple relationship' education on the relationship formation competencies and marriage values of high school students. To achieve the research objective, the 'Healthy couple relationship' lesson plan developed by the author was executed in two high schools for eight weeks from September 1 to November 3, 2018 from which the effects were analyzed. The results are as follows. First, the 'healthy couple relationship' education for high school students has been effective in improving their relationship performance, which is a part of the home economics curriculum. In S high school, the paired t-test of pre-/post-test comparison results showed statistically significant differences in the areas of 'communication', 'conflict resolution' and 'relationship formation performance'. For Sejong City campus-type joint curriculum group, where Wilcoxson signed-rank test was applied due to small sample size, showed that the overall scores as well as all the subsections of 'relationship formation performance' (i.e., 'communication', 'self-understanding', 'conflict resolution', and 'empathy') have improved, although not statistically significant. Second, the 'Healthy couple relationship' education for high school students had positive effects on the marriage values of high school students. In S high school, students' perception of marriage values rendered a statistically significant positive change, while in campus-type joint curriculum in Sejong City, no statistical significance was detected. In conclusion, the 'Healthy couple relationship' education can help high school students build positive values by cultivating their 'relationship formation competence', which is a part of the competencies listed in home economics curriculum, and also broaden their understanding of marriage, by acquiring knowledge and skills to build healthy couple relationships, and learning to implement the knowledge and skills in their own lives.
