의료기관 홍보담당자의 메시지 프레이밍과 소구유형 선호도가 의료광고에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Advertising Message Framing and Appeal Preferences by Advertising Planners at Medical Institutes on Medical Advertising)

  • Objectives : This study was conducted to examine what types of attributes advertising and promotion staff members working at different medical institutes consider when performing their advertising duties. It also seeks to identify satisfaction levels with the advertising conditions and tasks required of them to perform the actual advertising. Methods : This study subjects were members registered in the address book of the Korean Hospital Public Relations Association with 127 actual test respondents targeted. Results : Regarding the selection of the types of advertising message appeals, those with less than five years of work experience were found to prefer emotional messages, whereas those with more than six years of work experience were found to prefer rational messages. male advertising planners preferred rational messages, whereas female advertising planners preferred emotional messages. Conclusions : The medical advertising facilities at hospitals and equipment to produce the main materials to improve the effectiveness of advertising should be considered.

Factors that Affect Depression and Anxiety in Service and Sales Workers Who Interact With Angry Clients

  • Introduction: We evaluated depression and anxiety in service and sales workers from Korea who interacted with angry clients to identify factors that mediated and moderated depression and anxiety in these workers. Methods: This was a secondary analysis of data from the fifth Korean Working Conditions Survey conducted in 2017. A structural equation model was used for mediation and moderation analysis. Results: Service and sales workers who had more interactions with angry clients had increased risk for depression and anxiety. Experiencing clients' adverse behaviors (acute episodes) mediated the relationship between interacting with angry clients (a chronic situation) on depression and anxiety. Job satisfaction and managers' support moderated the relationship between interacting with angry clients and mental health problems. Conclusion: We suggest that employers of service and sales workers should recruit staff based on their aptitude for such work, thus ensuring job satisfaction, and train them to deal with angry clients in such a way that they experience less emotional burden. Employers should also make bylaws requiring managers to directly take care of adverse social behavior by clients. Furthermore, a sociocultural campaign to prevent adverse social behavior by clients is also needed.

Health Care Management According to Occupational Diseases of Beauty Industry Workers

  • Purpose - Beauty service employees who perform emotional labor are becoming an important factor in their duties to be performed at customer contact with the emotional expression norms set and required by organizations and companies. There are health problems for beauty workers due to working environments such as physical, chemical, and social factors. Accordingly, this study presents practical ways to protect the health of beauty workers. Research design, data, and methodology - This review study was conducted by searching PubMed, Google Scholar, Riss, Scopus, and Research Gate. Beauty Health Care, Occupational Diseases, Beauty Industry, Beauty Employees, Work-Life Vallance (WLV). I referred to the keywords such as that. A total of 471 papers were searched, of which 46 were finally included in this study on the PRISMA flowchart. Result: The beauty service industry can be classified as a job with high job stress among the beauty industries, and establishing appropriate measures to effectively help beauty industry workers proves to be an important strategy for maintaining physically and mentally healthy lives. Conclusion - Active research is needed to create a healthy environment with sustainable well-being by identifying physical and mental outbreaks according to the degree of awareness through various causes of occupational diseases such as gender and environment of beauty industry workers.

Emotionalized Product의 규명과 디자인 프로세스 -제품에 집중된 실행적 감성 접근을 위한 디자인 프로세스- (Defining Emotionalized Product and EP Design Process)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 제품이라는 도메인에 보다 집중된 감성 디자인의 논의를 이끌어내고, 이에 대한 실행적인 접근을 통하여 실제로 디자이너가 제품을 디자인함에 있어 감성적 접근을 하는데 도움이 될 수 있는 기반을 마련하는 것에 있다. 감성의 중요성이 증대하였지만 감성의 논의는 추상적인 수준에 머무르거나 오감이라는 감각에만 집중되고 있으며, 이는 제품이라는 도메인에서 감성적인 접근을 할 때에도 적용하기 어려운 수준이거나 한정적인 부분만을 포괄할 수 있을 뿐이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 제품이라는 도메인에 보다 집중된 실행적 차원에서의 감성의 논의를 위해 'Emotionalized Product'의 개념을 제안하고, 규명을 진행하였다. 규명의 결과물로 EP 매체, EP 절차, EP 차원, EP 캐릭터, EP 가치라는 'Emotionalized Product(EP)' 접근에 유효한 5가지 관점이 도출되었고, 이를 바탕으로 EP의 정의를 실행적 관점에서 내렸다. 이어 EP와 제품과의 결합에 필요한 2가지의 관점, 도메인 구조와 EP 기회가 도출되었다. EP의 실행적 정의와 제품과의 결합 관점을 토대로 최종적으로 크게 2가지의 관점, 귀납적 프로세스와 연역적 프로세스로 구성되는 EP의 디자인 프로세스를 제안하여 공유가능한 EP 디자인 시스템의 기반을 마련하도록 하였고, 보다 성공적인 감성적 접근으로 제품을 디자인하는 데 도움이 되도록 하였다.

병원 영양사들의 소진과 직무만족 요인 및 상관관계에 대한 연구 (A Study on Factors and Correlations of Burnout and Job Satisfaction of Dietitians in Hospitals)

  • This study aimed to examine factors and the correlations of burnout and job satisfaction in hospital dietitians. Burnout was classified into three sub-concepts: emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and reduced personal accomplishment. Job satisfaction was also classified into three sub-concepts, including relationships, self-realization, and advancement opportunities. A survey was conducted with dietitians working in general hospitals of over 400 beds, in the Seoul metropolitan area. The factors that significantly influenced emotional exhaustion were health, work hours, number of intern dietitians, self-esteem, level of responsibility, while the factors that influenced depersonalization were relationships with coworkers, and role ambiguity. Personal accomplishment was influenced by age, the number of staff dietitians, the general number of managed workers, and self-esteem. In terms of job satisfaction, relationship was affected by age and relationships with supervisors, while self-realization was influenced by work hours, health, the number of patient meals, and role ambiguity. Age, job regularity, business management, role ambiguity, and relationships with supervisors also affected advancement opportunities. Emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and reduced personal accomplishments, which represented burnout, had negative relationships with satisfaction with relationships, self-realization and advancement opportunities. Dietitians with low job satisfaction were likely to experience burnout. These results suggest that burnout and job satisfaction are influenced by internal and external factors that are individual or organizational problems encountered by hospital dietitians. Therefore, managers as well as dietitians need to understand these factors and overcome them through communication and mutual support.

Assessment of the Risks of Occupational Diseases of the Passenger Bus Drivers

  • Background: The working conditions of bus drivers are difficult; they lead to occupational diseases and require careful study, particularly in Ukraine. The objective of the article is the description of occupational health risks of passenger bus drivers that lead to deteriorating health. Methods: The risk assessment was performed using a modified Risk Score method, which allowed determining the generalized level of danger to the driver's health. The hygienic hazards level was assessed as based on Stevenson's law, which was generalized later. Results: Based on the modification of the Risk Score method, it was possible to depart from expert assessments method of the risk level and calculate the general indicator based on the degree of dependence of the impact on the human body on its intensity, proposed by V. Minko. This allows objective determining of the impact of hygiene hazards on the health of the driver and to predict the occurrence of occupational diseases associated with the cardiovascular system, musculoskeletal system, and partial or complete disability due to the accumulation of emotional fatigue. The hazard assessment was carried out for three brands of passenger buses common in Ukraine, in which the driver is exposed to the dangers of fever, vibration, noise, harmful impurities in the bus cabin, and emotional load. Conclusion: The health of drivers in the cabins of passenger buses is most affected by hygiene hazards: fever, vibration, and emotional stress. The generalized level of risk is calculated by the modified method of Risk Score is 0.83; -0.99, -0.92 respectively.

고용지원센터 직장인의 자기효능감, 정서노동 및 사회적 지지가 심리적 소진에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Self Efficacy, Emotional Labor, and Social Support on Job Center Workers' Psychological Burnout)

  • 본 연구는 고용지원센터 직장인의 심리적 소진에 미치는 요인을 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구대상은 2009년 12월부터 2010년 1월까지 부산, 울산, 김해, 진해에 소재한 고용지원센터에 근무하는 직장인 180명을 대상으로 우편을 이용하여 설문지를 배포하였다. 180부 설문지 중 140부가 회수되었으며 무응답과 불성실하게 답변한 8부를 제외하고 132부만 본 연구에서 사용되었다. 본 연구에서는 고용지원센터 직장인의 심리적 소진에 미치는 요인을 탐색하기 위해 SPSS 프로그램을 사용하여 다음과 같은 통계분석을 실시하였다. 각 변인들과 고용지원센터 직장인의 소진간의 관계를 알아보기 위해 상관관계 검증을 실시하였으며, 고용지원센터 직장인의 심리적 소진에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 나타난 결과는 자기효능감과 정서노동이 고용지원센터 직장인의 심리적 소진에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 고용지원센터 직장인의 심리적 소진에 자기효능감, 정서노동, 사회적 지지 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이것은 고용지원센터 직장인의 자기효능감이 심리적 소진에 전반적인 영향을 미치므로 고용지원센터 직장인의 심리적 소진을 감소시키기 위하여 자기효능감과 사회적 지지를 높여 주어야 한다는 것을 의미한다. 마지막으로 연구의 제한점과 후속연구를 위한 제언을 기술하였다.

헬스케어에 따른 병원종별 종사자의 감정노동이 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향 비교 : 일반병원과 요양병원 (A Comparative Study on the Impacts of Emotional Labor of Workers with the Types of Hospital Influencing Job Stress by Health Care - General Hospital and Nursing Hospital)

  • 본 연구는 헬스케어에 따른 병원종별 종사자의 감정노동이 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향에 대한 비교 연구이다. 연구 자료는 G광역시, J도 병원급 이상 의료기관 종사자들을 대상으로 직접 설문조사를 통해 얻은 387부의 설문지를 최종 분석 자료로 이용하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 병원종별 인구사회학적 특성에 따라 감정노동, 직무스트레스 차이를 분석 결과 일반병원의 경우 감정노동은 월 소득, 현 병원근무경력에서 유이한 차이를 보였고, 직무스트레스는 학력, 현 병원근무경력, 설립구분에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 요양병원의 경우 감정노동은 학력, 음주여부, 월 소득에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 병원종별 감정노동과 직무스트레스의 상관관계를 분석 결과 일반병원, 요양병원에서 감정노동과 직무스트레스는 정적 상관이 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 병원종별 감정 노동이 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향을 비교한 결과 일반병원, 요양병원에서 감정노동이 직무스트레스에 유의한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

정서전염으로 인한 심리적 소진 경험에 관한 해석현상학적 연구 (A Hermenutic Phenomenological Study of Psychological Burnout Experiences due to Emotional Contagion )

  • 본 연구에서는 정서전염으로 인한 심리적 소진 경험의 본질을 이해하기 위해 해석학적 현상학 연구를 실시하였다. 이를 위해 정서전염 현상을 자주 경험할 수 있는 직종에 재직 중인 9명의 참여자들을 대상으로 심층면담을 실시하였다. 자료의 분석은 체험에 대한 순수 기술에 해석을 접목하여 체험이 더 풍부하게 드러날 수 있다고 본 van Manen의 방법을 바탕으로 진행되었다. 이러한 과정을 통해 파악된 정서전염 체험은 3개의 핵심 주제 및 8개의 본질적 주제, 35개의 하위 주제로 분류되었다. 첫 번째 핵심 주제는 "끊임없이 주고받는 정서"이다. 이 주제에서는 '정서전염의 다양한 통로', '전염된 정서에 따라 달라지는 상태'라는 2가지 본질적 주제가 포함되었다. 두 번째 핵심 주제 "정서전염 체험의 필터"에는 '타인의 정서에 쉽게 물들에 하는 특성', '부정적 정서를 퍼뜨리는 태도', '정서에 압도되게 하는 상황'이라는 본질적 주제가 포함되었다. 마지막 핵심 주제인 "정서전염으로 인한 소진에서 소통으로"에는 '소진을 유발하는 휘말린 상호작용', '소통과 연결로 나아가기', '소진 이후의 회복'이라는 본질적 주제가 분류되었다. 각 주제의 핵심 내용을 요약하고 연구의 함의와 제한점 및 추후 연구의 방향에 대해 논의하였다.

외래병동간호사와 병동간호사의 의사소통능력과 간호전문직관, 업무환경 및 직무만족도 비교 (A Comparative Study on Communicatioin Competence, Nursing Professionalism, Work Environment and Job Satisfaction between Outpatient Nurses and Ward Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare communication competence, nursing professionalism, work environment and job satisfaction between outpatient nurses and ward nurses, and to identify the correlation among variables. Methods: The participants were 90 outpatient nurses and 98 ward nurses at the two general hospitals. Data were collected using self-administered questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, ${\chi}^2-test$, independent t-test and Pearson's correlation coefficient. Results: There were statistically significant differences between two groups in nursing professionalism, possibilities for development, commitment to the workplace, social support from colleagues, social community at work and job satisfaction, outpatient nurses showed higher level than ward nurses except commitment to the workplace. The work environment variables and nurses' job satisfaction were mostly correlated. Job satisfaction showed significant negatively correlated with quantitative demands, emotional demands and role conflicts in both groups nurses. Conclusion: These findings showed that nursing work environments were the most important factor for job satisfaction of both group nurses. Therefore, it is necessary to put efforts in improving nursing work environment and to develop diverse strategies for human resource management.
