This study aims to suggest the improvement plan for clinical practice after examining the reality and the situation of clinical practice of EMT students. Clinical practice is as important as right to a variety of job experience in the convergence society and heating up according to appearance of NCS. Subjects were 115 EMT students. Data were collected for Jun. 16-17(2016), and analyzed by SPSS v. 18.0. Sophomores, who experienced only ER have a negative view about their future job prospect. On the other hand, juniors, who experienced ER and 119 rescue team have not virtually changed the way they view their future job prospect, supposedly due to the halo effect of the 119 rescue team clinical practices. Both groups wish to have opportunities to experience diverse clinical practices. This study suggests that will help students have a positive view about their job prospects by providing clinical practice institutions and solve the problem of difficulty in getting jobs.
Purpose: This study investigated the current status of post-traumatic stress and related factors among safety managers in Korea National Parks. Methods: The study subjects were 109 safety managers working in Korea National Parks. General characteristics, job-related characteristics, experience of traumatic events and post-traumatic stress were collected by self-reported questionnaires through the mail. The associated factors with post-traumatic stress was analyzed by t-test, ANOVA and multiple linear regression. Results: Overall score of post-traumatic stress was $10.32{\pm}11.37$ and 12.8% was the high-risk group of post-traumatic stress disorder. In simple analysis, score of post-traumatic stress was associated with drinking frequency, disease history, duration of career, delay of rescue, provided the break, rest space and the number of experiences of traumatic events. Finally, the score of post-traumatic stress was significantly higher in subjects who experienced 3 (B=9.141, SE=3.538) or more than 4 (B=11.367, SE=3.063) traumatic events compared to subjects without experience of traumatic event. Conclusion: The score of post-traumatic stress was $10.32{\pm}11.37$ and 12.8% was the high-risk group among safety managers in Korea National Parks. Post-traumatic stress was associated with the experience of traumatic events. Management of safety managers after mobilization or experience of traumatic events will be helpful to decrease of post-traumatic stress.
In this study, baicalin, as a marker substance of Scutellariae Radix, was quantitatively analyzed by a high performance liquid chromatography-photodiode array detector (HPLC-DAD). We identified wogonoside, baicalein, and wogonin in the Scutellariae Radix by a high performance liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization-mass spectrometer (HPLC-ESI-MS). The baicalin was separated on a Xterra C18 column ($5{\mu}m$, $4.6{\times}250mm$) using mobile phase consisting of 38% acetonitrile in 0.68% phosphoric acid. The baicalin spectrum in the Scutellariae Radix extracts was coincided by comparing with UV-visible spectrum (200-550 nm) of baicalin standard in the library. The amount of baicalin in Scutellariae Radix was 10.46%, which is higher than KFDA's guideline. The marker substances of Scutellariae Radix showed a strong base peak $[M]^+$ in the positive detection mode following as; baicalin (m/z; $271[MH^+-sugar]^+$, $447[M+H]^+$), wogonoside (m/z; $285[MH^+-sugar]^+$, $461[M+H]^+$), baicalein (m/z; $271\;[M+H]^+$), wogonin (m/z; $285[M+H]^+$). These results are consistent with the fragment pattern and molecular weight of standard components from literature.
In general, life jackets are worn by people in critical situations on the water to rise to the surface without falling into water, and life jackets simply serve to prevent sinking, but do not actively help rescue disaster areas in critical situations early. In order to solve this problem, a device that automatically generates a distress signal in an emergency situation was developed. When the survivor is in hand for a while, the distress signal generator is automatically separated from the life jacket, allowing information such as location values and other information to be transmitted wirelessly and a rescue signal using LED light. As a result of the experiment, when submerged in water, the life jacket and the distress signal generator were automatically separated, and the result of wireless transmission of the coordinate value of the location received by the GPS was confirmed. By using this, the location of the distress or missing person can be identified, which can be quickly replaced in case of an emergency
In order to investigate the effect of carbon sources on somatic embryogenesis and cotyledon number variations in carrot, embryogenic callus were cultured in the medium supplemented with various concentrations of sucroseor glucose, and with combination of 2% sucrose and various concentrations of mannitol or sorbitol. The maximum number of somatic embryos formed per flask (1,555.70) was obtained in the medium supplemented with 2% sucrose rather than glucose alone or a combination of mannitol or sorbitol and 2% sucrose, and the number of somatic embryos was decreased with the increasing of mannitol or sorbitol concentration. The frequencies of somatic embryos with two cotyledons were 35.14% for sucrose, 19.88% for glucose, 32.55% for mannitol + 2% sucrose, and 38.59% for sorbitol + 2% sucrose, respectively, and the frequencies of abnormal somatic embryos having 3 or more cotyledons were 64.86% for sucrose, 80.12% for glucose, 67.44% for mannitol + 2% sucrose, and 61.41% for sorbitol + 2% sucrose, respectively. Particularly, the frequency of somatic embryos with two cotyledons (59.16%) was the highest in the 2% sucrose medium compared to the frequency of abnormal somatic embryogenesis with three or more cotyledons, and the frequency gradually decreased with increasing concentration of glucose, mannitol or sorbitol. According to these results, it was found that the ratio of abnormal somatic embryo was higher than the normal somatic embryo in carrot, and was shown that somatic embryogenesis and the cotyledon number was affected by the concentrations of sucrose, glucose as carbon source, and mannitol and sorbitol as osmotic agents in culture medium.
This study conducted a team-based CPR simulation with 32 fourth-year emergency rescue students to determine the effectiveness of training feedback using body cameras used at emergency rescue sites, and measured awareness, training feedback effectiveness, and satisfactio+n before and after body camera feedback. , preferences and difficulties in using body camera devices were identified. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 27.0 program, including descriptive statistics, frequency analysis, paried t-test, and Wilcoxon signed rank test. As a result of the study, the perception of body camera use showed a positive change from 3.73±0.62 points to 4.45±0.54 points, and a positive satisfaction level of 3.98±0.51 was shown (p<.001). Additionally, there was a significant increase in self-check accuracy and performance score after body camera feedback (p<.001). Therefore, during team-based simulation resuscitation training, positive feedback effects in improving self-inspection ability and performance can be achieved by watching body camera videos and using self-checklists without direct feedback from the instructor.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency treatment that stimulates blood circulation and breathing when the function of the heart stops or stops breathing. CPR can be divided by basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support (ALS). BLS involves the use of chest compression to force the blood flow to the main organs, rescue breathing to improve the breathing to the respiratory failure patient and the use automated external defibrillator (AED). The categories of advanced life support include advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) for adult and pediatric advanced life support (PALS) for children. In the treatment of dental care for children, which is extremely difficult to deal with, and for a variety of reasons, the use of sedation is considered to treat the children who are unlikely to cooperate with dentistry. This is why there is an increasing possibility of an emergency situation involving cardiac arrest. PALS includes the BLS, and it presents a systematic algorithm to treat respiratory failure, shock and cardiogenic cardiac arrest. In order to manage emergency situations in the pediatric dental clinic, respiratory support is most important. Therefore, mastering professional PALS, which includes respiratory care and core cases, particularly upper airway obstruction and respiratory depression caused by a respiratory control problem, would be highly desirable for a physician who treats pediatric dental patients. Regular training and renewal training every two years is necessary to be able to immediately implement professional skills in emergency situations.

This study analyzed the appropriateness of the spatial distribution of fire stations and emergency medical facilities, the main providers of emergency medical care, in Busan. The area over which the 119 emergency medical services were situated in relation to the dispatch and transport of urgent rescue services was examined. Addresses of patients requiring 119 emergency services were obtained and stored as individual units so that they could be analyzed in a Geographic Information System(GIS). The time taken by emergency services to reach patients and transport them to a hospital or other facility was measured in seconds. By inputting additional information such as the location of the 119 dispatch centers, jurisdictions, and emergency medical facilities, the GIS allowed for analyses not only of the temporal but also the spatial aspects of emergency medical services. The results showed that of 16 Gu/Gun and 226 Eup/Myen/Dong in the Busan area, only 41% of Busan's emergency medical services could respond to and transport patients within five minutes. In all districts, most emergency medical services were provided within five to ten minutes. However, the pattern of hospital use to transfer patients to hospitals was inefficient. Based on the temporal and spatial distributions of fire stations and emergency medical agencies, and on their dispatch and transport times, this study sets out and compares ideal dispatch and transportation patterns for the efficient use of Busan's emergency medical services and resources.

It is important to secure the golden time of emergency vehicles for quick responses in disaster situations, such as fire, rescue, and first aid. This study proposes plans Emergency Vehicle Preemption (EVP) based on the analysis of emergency vehicle operation to secure the golden time of emergency vehicles and increase driving safety. The emergency vehicle dispatch statistics, emergency vehicle traffic accident statistics, and survey were used for the analysis. As a result of the analysis, the frequency of dispatch of emergency vehicles and traffic accidents are increasing gradually, but the rate of securing the golden time of emergency vehicles is approximately half, indicating that improvement measures are urgent. In the questionnaire survey, most citizens consent to the necessity of introducing EVP. In addition, the criteria for the range of emergency vehicles that could provide EVP and the allowable time for waiting were derived. These results could be used to prepare EVP operation strategies, and it is expected to contribute to improving emergency vehicle operation safety and increasing the golden time securing rate through a rapid expansion of EVP.
This study was attempted to provide basic data develop CPR training program for layperson by looking into layperson's recognition and attitude of execution of CPR and to prepare for underlying data in drawing up training policy and suggesting relevant legislation so that trained laypersons can positively perform rescue activities. The survey was done from August 20 to September 20, 2007. Total Subjects in this study were 78. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS Program. The summary of the research is as follows : First, to the question of whether or not the recognition or performance of CPR is universal within the country, 82.1% of respondents gave a negative answer as 'No', The most reason was found to be 'Poor training and P.R. of CPR' accounting for 50.1%, 94.8% of the whole respondents answered that CPR training is necessary. As plan for activatin of CPR training, they answered that top priority shall be given to compulsory school training(79.5%). Secondly, when respondents observed their family's cardic 84.6% of them answered that they would conduct CPR but when they observed other's cardiac arrest, just 41.7% of them answered it. As an effective CPR activation plan, the most answer was training and P.R. of CPR as 79.5%. This study suggests that laypersons high perception of the effectiveness of the CPR and that they wound be willing to provide CPR in a medical emergency.
