The mechanism of response time and viewing angle in in-plane switching ( IPS ) liquid crystal display ( LCD ) were investigated. The response time of photo-aligned IPS-LCD is fast compared with rubbing-aligned IPS-LCD on polyimide ( PI ) surface. The decay time $\tau$$\_$d/ is decreased with increasing the azimuthal anchoring energy A $\psi$ due to the steric interaction between the LC molecules and side chain of polymer. The viewing angle of IPS-LCD is increased by using photo-depolymerizatin method ; about ${\pm}$70$^{\circ}$at all direction.

본 논문에서는 CAN(Controller Area Network) 통신 기능을 갖는 전력계측 장치와 이를 통해 계측, 분석된 전력신호를 모니터링과 제어할 수 있는 시뮬레이터 서버 응용프로그램으로 구성된 CAN BUS 기반의 전력계측 및 감시 시스템을 모의 구현하였다. CAN 통신은 기존의 전력감시 제어시스템에서 사용되는 RS-232기반의 통신방식보다 시스템 유지정비 및 확장이 쉽고 데이터의 신뢰도가 뛰어나다. 본 논문에서 전력신호는 PSCAD/EMTDC등에서 시뮬레이션한 파형을 이용 DAQ Device를 이용하여 출력된 아날로그 파형을 입력하여 계측하였고, 전력계측 장치의 하드웨어는 64Kbyte 마이크로 콘트롤러를 이용하여 두 개의 노드로 구성하였고, 원격감시 시뮬레이터 서버 프로그램은 GUI 기반의 윈도우즈 응용프로그램인 LabVIEW7.1을 사용하여 제작하여 입력된 신호를 샘플링한 데이터로 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다.

무한 웹 컨텐츠 환경에서는 사용자의 컨텐츠 선택을 용이하게 하기 위하여 메타데이터를 다양한 방법으로 수집할 수 있다. 그러나 한 가지 방법으로는 메타데이터의 수신이 제한적이고 풍부한 메타데이터 수신을 위해서는 다양한 방법을 이용해야 한다. 그래서 본 논문에서는 메타데이터 수집 방법들을 통합하는 장치를 제안하고, 통합 메타데이터의 품질 향상을 위해 통합과정에서 발생하는 중복 메타데이터의 필터링 방법을 제시 및 검증한다. 구체적으로는 현재 웹 상에서 다양하게 제공되고 있는 메타데이터 수집 기능들을 분석하고, 통합 장치의 개념적인 구조를 제시하며, 웹 상에서 많이 보급되고 있는 RSS Reader를 통해 메타데이터를 수집하고 이를 토대로 분석하여 중복 컨텐츠를 판단하는 방법을 제안하였다.

The study on the user-centered interior design of trains consists of the practice of sensitive technology for the management of customer's emotions and its harmonical use on design and it aims on the embodiment of new ergonomics design. In the center, it has analyzed the criteria and characteristics for the 'User First Design' and has concluded the design direction and components to a concrete idea and proposed prototypes, which may becomes a good example for train interior design later on. And not at least it proposes a direction which may become a guideline of ergonomic design to secure competition capacity.

DMZ is came from the antagonism of ideology of the cold war and will of peace embodiment of Gangwon province, the only divided province in the world, at the time of opening physical distribution transportation time on ground between south and north Korea. Analyze the central plan of Gangwon province that includes Mt. Geumgang sightseeing, the Gyeongwon line and the Donghae line. As regaining the overland route with Eurasian continent that lost because of the division of Korea into north and south, We have lived as people in a island country actually for the last 60 years. we should extend the racial imagination that lean toward the ocean to the continent again. As we present the use of efficient overland distribution transportation that is endowed with the fitness of the Gangwon province's plan to make a new developing opportunity physically and mentally. we would seek the revitalization of Gangwon economy and inter Korean trade.

This paper proposes a change process model for organization development in health care organizations and provide an OD case exemplar of nursing service unit at Virtual Hospital. This case exemplar was written in a narrative form rather than in an argumentative form as an embodiment of organization development process as is viewed from the cultural/interpretive perspective rather than from the technical/rational one. This case exemplar illustrates the change process which consists of four interrelated components: change intervention, organizational target variables, individual organizational member, and organizational outcomes. It also demonstrates the applicability of the narrative rationality which involves narrative probability and narrative fidelity to the story where the learning organization, shared governance, and empowerment are fully emplotted and enlivened. The implications for organization development in health care organizations are discussed.

Landscape ecology is an emerging interdisciplinary ecology field to understand the holistic human and natural systems on the basis of concept and database obtained from pure ecology. Landscape ecology is an integrated ecology widely available for environmental science such as nature conservation and sustainable land-use planning. It is also a practical study as an applied ecology to restore and to manage local environment. Landscape ecological study is realized by embodiment of human disturbance system which is rigorously extending on natural system. Considering Korean status without landscape ecological studies, we briefly reviewed establishing process, study goal and methodology of landscape ecology as well as the related several concepts through current landscape ecological studies in the world. We hope that this paper will be helpful to ecologists having interest in landscape ecology.

The positive column discharge characteristics in the long gap (440 ${\mu}m$) are investigated based on the voltage distribution among three electrodes. In particular, the effects of the amplitude and width of the short pulse applied to the address electrode on the positive column discharge characteristics are examined intensively. By proper controlling of the amplitude and width of the address short pulse, it is found that the positive column discharge in the long gap is well constructed. As a result, under the stable static voltage margin condition, the firing and sustaining voltages are as low as those of conventional short gap(60 ${\mu}m$) discharge($V _f=220V$, $V_s=150V$) and the color purity is improved. Moreover, the luminous efficiency increases up to 60% in comparison with the conventional case.

LBS must manage various context data and make the best use of this data for application service in ubiquitous environment. Conventional mobile object data management architecture did not consider process of context data. Therefore a new mobile data management framework is needed to process location context data. In this paper, we design a new context management framework for a location based application service. A suggestion framework is consisted of context collector, context manager, rule base, inference engine, and mobile object context database. It describes a form of rule base and a movement process of inference engine that are based on location based application scenario. It also presents an embodiment instance of interface which suggested framework is applied to location context interference of mobile object.

The variable-frequency type water supply equipment, which adopts the variable-voltage and variable-frequency converter(VVVF converter) to govern automatically the rotating speed of a pump, can save 15-20% of power, as compared with a throttle-controlled pump device or an airpressurized water supply equipment, and is finding a wide application. However, it still has some disadvantages : greater pressure fluctuations during switching over the pump and prolonged low-effeciency running of the pump in the case of small consumption of water. Therefore, it is difficult to apply the equipment to the fire water supply system where the water should not be put into use unless a fire takes place, and the water pressure in pipelines should permanently remain constant. This paper introduces the automatic regulation principle of the variable-frequency type air-pressurized water supply equipment (hereafter referred to as simply BFQS equipment) for dual purposes of daily life and fire control, which combined both technologies of speed governing by a converter and air-pressurized water supplying, then discusses some problems related to automatic control, and finally gives the experimental results of an embodiment-BPQS-100-50 water supply equipment.
