As the internet communication is prevalent in recent years, it becomes quite possible to monitor and control some mechanical plants from the remote place through the TCP/IP communication. Such a concept is expected to be applied to many industrial systems fur easy maintenance and trouble shooting as well as various kinds of expensive test equipments fo. sharing. Synthetic jet actuate.(SJA) is a kind of high-lifting device to prevent flow separation at high angle of attack and its use for flow control has received a great amount of attention. In this research, remote control and data monitoring system for SJA wind tunnel test is implemented by TCP/IP communication with DSP as a embedded web server. From the tests performed with embedded server, it showed the possibility of reliable remote control system design utilizing the internet communication.

In this paper, we developed a network camera for CMOS camera module inspection. The design, implementation details including embedded linux porting and CPLD logics, and performance of network camera are described. The network camera consists of SoC(S3C4530A), CPLD and CMOS image sensor. In order to image data of CMOS image sensor we designed capture logics on CPLD by using VHDL program. Embedded Linux such as uClinux is performed on the network camera to utilize development environment and TCP/IP protocol specification. The application is based on socket communication between GUI on PC and Embedded Linux based network camera. When JPEG compression is applied, the transmission speed was improved enough for this system to be used for an alternative of expensive CCTV or remote monitoring system in a power plant and uninhabited places.

본 논문에서는 홍채인식 상용제품에 적용하기 위한 임베디드 시스템의 운영체제로서 리눅스를 대상으로 하여 홍채인식 시스템을 위한 UI 보드를 개발하교 구현된 보드에 리눅스를 포팅v하였다. 이를 위하여 구현된 UI 보드에 맞게 UNUX(전체시스템을 설계하고 부트로더, 커널, 제어 프로그램 등을 이에 맞도록 정합시켰다. 실험 결과, 홍채인식시스템은 정상적으로 동작하교 TCP/IP로 연결된 UI 보드는 타 시스템과 성공적으로 데이터를 실시간 송$.$수신함으로써 제품의 전체 기능상 신뢰성 있는 사용자 인터페이스 기능을 구현할 수 있었다.

본 연구에서는 영상데이터의 효율적인 압축과 전송을 위하여 EZW(embedded Zerotree wavelet)의 개선된 방안을 제안하였다 즉, 하위의 비중요계수들을 중요계수의 종속부호화에 사용함으로써 부호화 효율을 높였으며, 계수를 검색할 때 하위검색으로 미리 부호화하여 부호화시간을 단축하였다. 제안된 알고리즘은 상응하는 아키텍쳐로 설계하였으며, 이의 시뮬레이션을 기존의 EZW방법과 비교한 결과, 약 1dB정도의 PSNR 성능의 개선이 있음을 확인하였다.

소프트웨어의 중요성이 인식되면서 임베디드 소프트웨어의 품질이 제품 품질에 미치는 영향이 증가함에 따라 소프트웨어의 신뢰성 확보가 매우 중요한 문제로 떠올랐다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 임베디드 특성에 맞춰 신뢰성을 추출하여 임베디드 소프트웨어의 신뢰성 평가를 보다 쉽게 할 수 있도록 기술하였다.

Currently many sensors and processing data in a robot based on USN environments need to real-time features. In this paper, we examine recent research trends on real-time operating systems, especially on real-time embedded Linux, RTAI and Xenomai, for intelligent robots. Xenomai is a real-time development framework and have special feature supporting RTAI, VxWorks, pSOS+ etc. through the "skin". This research gives a guide to researcher in using real-time embedded Linux in the sense of architecture, supporting real-time mechanisms, kinds of real-time device driver, performances.

In this study, a sensor for detecting corrosion of rebar embedded in reinforced concrete structures was fabricated and its performance was verified. In order to monitor the open circuit potential(OCP) of the rebar embedded in reinforced concrete, a concrete embedded solid electrode was constructed as a sensor using MnO2. The OCP of the rebar could be observed using a sensor and a data logger. The decrease of the OCP to -510mV (vs.MnO2) or less was judged to be corrosion of the rebar. Since it is a solid-mediated sensor, it is more stable and durable than an electrode using an aqueous solution, and it is considered that the corrosion state of the rebar can be monitored for a long period of time.

최근 고성능 초소형 디바이스 설계 기술 및 무선 이동 통신 기술의 비약적인 발전으로 각 정보기기 및 디바이스들이 지능적으로 네트워크를 형성하여 사용자가 원하는 정보를 언제, 어디서나 쉽게 제공할 수 있는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 논의가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크를 통해 센싱된 정보는 사용자가 원하는 서비스 및 주변 상황을 자동으로 인지하고 보다 편리하고 정확한 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 도와준다 본 논문에서는 센서 노드로부터 전송되는 센싱 정보를 호스트 PC가 아닌 임베디드 시스템에서 전송받아 TFT/LCD 디스플레이를 통해 실시간적으로 보여주는 시스템을 설계 및 구현한다.

이동형 단말 시스템에서 XML 데이터의 역할과 데이터베이스의 지원이 중요해지고 있다. 이에 따라, 내장형 XML 데이터베이스 시스템에 대한 연구가 활발하다. XML문서를 처리하기 위해서는 DOM API를 지원할 필요가 있는데, 기존의 DOM API는 DOM 트리를 메모리에 유지한다. 이것은 제한된 리소스를 가지는 내장형 시스템 을 안정적으로 운용하는데 위협적인 요소이다. 본 논문에서는 내장형 시스템의 부족한 리소스를 고려하여 DOM 트리를 메모리가 아닌 내장형 데이터베이스 시스템인 버클리 DB위에서 구성되는 P-DOM 트리를 제안하고, 이를 관리하는 DOMdbm 시스템을 개발한다.

With the recent surge in the autonomous driving market, the significance of lane detection technology has escalated. Lane detection plays a pivotal role in autonomous driving systems by identifying lanes to ensure safe vehicle operation. Traditional lane detection models rely on engineers manually extracting lane features from predefined environments. However, real-world road conditions present diverse challenges, hampering the engineers' ability to extract adaptable lane features, resulting in limited performance. Consequently, recent research has focused on developing deep learning based lane detection models to extract lane features directly from data. In this paper, we classify lane detection models into four categories: cluster-based, curve-based, information propagation-based, and anchor-based methods. We conduct an extensive analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of each approach, evaluate the model's performance on an embedded board, and assess their practicality and effectiveness. Based on our findings, we propose future research directions and potential enhancements.
