KSUPRAMAX-O 선형의 규칙파 중 상대파고 계측에 대한 연구 (A Study on Relative Wave Elevation Measurement of KSUPRAMAX-O in Regular Waves)

  • This study focuses on measuring the relative wave elevation around the KSUPRAMAX-O ship and comparing it with numerical analysis results (potential and computational fluid dynamics). The relative wave elevation is a good indicator of the pressure distribution on the ship's surface, which is affected by the ship's motion, incident waves, and distributed waves. Prior to measuring the relative wave elevation, a comparative test was conducted on resistance type, capacitance type, and ultrasonic type wave probe to measure the relative wave elevation, and it was confirmed that the resistance type wave probe was suitable for measuring the relative wave elevation. A model test was performed at low speed and design speed using resistance type wave probe and compared with the results of numerical analysis result. As for the motion response, it was confirmed that the result of experiments and the result of the numerical analysis were in good agreement. The relative wave elevation showed a similar trend between the experiment and the computational fluid dynamics, but the potential analysis result showed a difference from the experiment in design speed.

수도작 포장의 고저차 측정을 위한 최적 받침대 선정 (Selection of Optimum Fulcrum Type for Measurement and Geo-statistical Analyze of Elevation within Rice Paddy Field)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the specificities of four fulcrum types for geo-statistical analysis of elevation within rice paddy field. In Korea, the spaces between inter-rows and between hills for rice transplanting are 30cm and 11cm to 14cm, respectively. So, the size and shape of fulcrum for field elevation measurement should be considered according to the inter-row and the hill spaces. Four kinds of fulcrum were chosen such as round-shape with 2.5cm diameter, circular-shape with 10cm diameter, 10cm (one third of inter-row space) by 24cm (double of hill space) rectangular-shape, and 20cm (two-thirds of inter-row space) by 24cm rectangular-shape. The resulting descriptive statistics couldn't determine the best fulcrum type to measure the rice paddy field elevation. But the results of geo-statistical analysis could determine the best fulcrum type. In the case of 10cm by 24cm rectangular-shape fulcrum, Nugget and range, meaning measurement error and/or noise, and limit of spatial connection, respectively, were minimum; Q value meaning weight of spatial structure and $r^2$ value were minimum, and residual sum of squares was minimum. It means that 10cm by 24 cm rectangular-shape fulcrum could best describe the rice paddy field elevation.

Analysis of Relative Wave Elevation Around Semi-submersible Platform Through Model Test: Focusing on Comparison of Wave Probe Characteristics

  • Recently, as the offshore structures are operated in the deep-sea oil fields, interest in the analysis of relative wave elevation around platforms is increased. In this study, it is examined how the analysis results differ depending on the characteristics of the wave probe when interpreting the relative wave elevation in the model test. First, by conducting the wave probe comparison experiment in the two-dimensional wave tank, it is confirmed how the measured values differ according to the type of wave probe for the same physical phenomenon. Two types of wave probe are selected, the resistance type and the capacitance type, and the causes of the difference in measured values is studied. After that, the model test of the semi-submersible platform is conducted to investigate the relative wave elevation. Relative wave elevation is measured with the wave probes used in the wave probe comparison experiment and analyzed to estimate the asymmetric factor and the extreme upwell. The results between the two types of wave probes are compared, and qualitative study for the cause of the difference is conducted by photographing the physical phenomenon using a high-speed camera. Through the above study, it is confirmed that the capacitance type wave probe shows a larger measured value than the resistance type under the breaking-wave condition, and the same results are obtained for the asymmetric factor and the extreme upwell. These results is thought to be due to the difference in the measurement principle between wave probes, which is whether or not they measured water bubbles. This implies that the model test should be conducted using appropriate wave probes by considering the physical phenomenon to be analyzed.

현존하는 간이역의 평면 및 입면 유형별 특징에 관한 연구 -중앙선, 동해남부선 및 경전선을 중심으로- (A Characteristics of Plan and Elevation Types of Existing Way Stations built in the Early 20th Century Korea)

  • This aim of the study is to investigate the plan and elevation types of existing way stations built in the early 20th century Korea, focused on Choong-ang, Donghae-nambu, and Kyung-jeon line of the railroad tracklines. The plans and elevations are drawn up and analyzed based on literature data and aerial photographs through the survey. These way stations are classified into various types by room layout and front elevation. The basic plan types are composed of waiting room, station service room, and administration. The station service room has a train operation room in the projecting part of corner. This room has windows on every side to see in and out of train. There are the enlarged, extended waiting room types, and linear types in the other plan types. The waiting room is lied on the right side, and has a gable roof in elevation. The elevation types are classified with side and centralized, and so on by the placement and shape of gable roofs. The basic elevation types have gable roofs in sides lied on the waiting room, and these types are transformed into centralized types by extension of waiting room The others are the linear types without gable roofs and the unusual roof types in appearance.

사망재해의 원인분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Analysis of Causes for Fatal Accidents)

  • This study is conducted to analyze exact causes of occupational fatalities and results are as follows : 1) The number of fatalities in establislment which employed less than 50 workers is 605(40.1% ). Age of sixties and seventies is occupied by 10 percent with there being old-aged trend. Fatal workers who were employed less than 3 months are 39.5 percent and fatal workers who were employed more than 10 years are 11.9 percent. Safety training is necessary for newly recruited and long employed workers. 2) Accident type is, in sequence, fall from elevation, traffic accident, disease, contact with electric current, and hazardous condition is, in order, inadequate guard, hazardous method or procedure, public hazard, and agency of accident is, in sequence, temporary structure/building/structure, powered transport vehicle, passenger vehicle, hoisting or lifting apparatus, and unsafe act is, in order, driving error, failure to secure or warn. 3) The results of cross-tabulation for hazardous condition and accident type is, in sequence, traffic accident by public hazard, fall from elevation by hazardous method or procedure, fall from elevation as well as contact with elctric current by inadequate guard. The result of cross-tabulation for agency of accident and accident type is, in order, fall from elevation by temporary structure/building/structure, traffic accident of passenger vehicle and powered transport vehicle, contact with electric apparatus. The result of cross-tabulation for agency of accident and hazardous condition is, in sequence, public hazard of passenger vehicle, hazardous method or procedure of temporary structure/building/structure, publit hazard of powered transport vehicle, inadequate guard of temporary structure/building/structure. The result of cross-tabulation for unsafe act and accident type is, in sequence, traffic accident by driving error, fall from elevation by inattention to footing or surrounding, contact with electric current by secure or warn.

병원 외주부 디자인에 따른 병실모듈 연구 (A Study on the Ward Module according to the External Design of the Hospital)

  • Purpose: It is important to plan the ward module at a time when the size of beds, the floor area, and the construction budget are all set prior to the hospital design. In this context this study aims (1) to derive various factors affecting the ward module, and (2) to analyze the appropriate room module according to the type. Methods: Design factors related to hospital modules are derived through precedential studies, and the types of ward elevation are classified by reviewing the drawings of 18 case hospitals. And the detailed dimensions and area of the derived elements are analyzed. Results: The X-axis modules of the ward are switched to long span structural columns of 9.9 m, 12.6 m and 13.2 m, but the ward modules still represent 6.6 m. The Y-axis module of the ward shows a dimension of 9 to 9.9m in the process of changing a multi-person room into a four-person room. Type A of curtain wall with columns located on the wall of the room and type B of curtain wall located in the center of the room are analyzed due to their variations. The square window type, which forms the elevation of the square window by exposing the columns to the elevation, and the outframe type, which protrudes from the structural columns and beams, have elevation designs limited. There are, however, no obstacles to the interior space of the hospital room, so the wall composition and furniture arrangement are expected to be free. The ward area of Curtain Wall Type A, which can secure an effective area of 5.9m*5.0m, are 52.1m2. The Curtain Wall Type A, Square window type, and the outframe type are 49.8m2. Implications: As part of the hospital standard module plan for economical and reasonable hospital building planning, a type was proposed in this study in conjunction with the external design. It is hoped that it be a base for standard module research linked together to the Central Treatment department, Outpatient department and underground parking lot.

가스 스프링 Elevation 동작에 적합한 피스톤 로드 움직임의 관형 오리피스 단면에 관한 연구 (A study on the cross section in pipe type orifice of suitable piston rod moving in gas spring elevation working)

  • 텔레비전의 가스 스프링은 롱 스트로크 (200 ~ 300mm, TV 상승 변위) 하에서 작동 할 때 피스톤 속도의 제어가 가능하다. 이 원리에 의해서 사용자는 높낮이 조절이 가능하다. 먼저 피스톤의 흐름 해석을 수행하였다. 정확한 관형 단면을 위한 피스톤 속도 조절기술을 조사하였다. 유동률 제어 및 높낮이 작용을 위한 피스톤 구조를 제안되었다. 본 연구는 대형 텔레비전 스탠드를 통해 50 인치 이상 TV의 가스 스프링의 개발을 위한 것이다. 최적 피스톤 로드 제어를 위한 중공축(외경 19.9mm, 내경 13.9mm)에 질소 개스(0.3m/s)를 주입하였다. 그 결과, 유동율이 증대함에 따라 피스톤 로드의 압력강하는 외력의 변화 없이 증대되었다. 결과적으로, 가스스프링을 통한 변위의 제어는 가능하다.

유럽 집합주택의 입면 디자인 요소에 관한 연구 - 1980년대 이후 사례를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Elevation and Facade Design Factors of European Multistory-Housing)

  • In the late twentieth century, the multistory housing has become the most preferred housing type. Moreover, in multistory housing design, not only interior design but also exterior design, uniqueness and characteristic have been added as significant factors in design to break simplicity and uniformity. The purpose of this study is to understand the tendency of the elevation design in Europe and to suggest the idea for elevation design for domestic. Also, each elements of elevation were analyzed through classification and schematization which categorized by its own characteristic. Design elements can be classified into three categories. They are corresponding with inner spaces, emphasizing visual expression of exterior material and texture, and presenting aesthetic factors of building shape. Those are named as the Spatial Externalization, the Visual Expression, and the Expression of Building Shape. In this frame nineteen elevations of sixteen different cases were analysed. As a result of case studies, it is clear that elevation designs were not standardized and each cases has its own characteristics. Also it showed how the each design elements can be coordinated as a total design and how they expressed identities of each housing. This study could contribute to motivate diversifying the design of multistory housing.

조절되는 당뇨환자에게 식립된 치과 임플란트의 생존율에 대한 후향적 연구 (A retrospective study of the dental implants placed in the controlled diabetes mellitus patients)

  • Purpose: The aim of the present study was to analyze 7-year cumulative survival rate (CSR, %) of dental implants in the controlled diabetic patients and to evaluate the influence of the position, diameter and length of fixture, bone quality, age, gender and the method of maxillary sinus elevation on the survival rate. Methods: The data of 342 placed implants in the 104 diabetic patients collected between 1995 and 2007 at the Department of Periodontology in Yonsei University Hospital were analyzed. Results: Seven-year CSR of the 342 dental implants in the 104 controlled diabetic patients was 96.5%. The survival rates of the placed implants according the position have no statistically significant difference. The survival rates according to the length or diameter of the fixtures have no statistically significant difference. The survival rates according to the bone quality were 100% (Type I), 97.1% (Type II), 97.7% (Type III) and 85.7%(Type IV). The difference between the survival rate of Type I, II and III and that of Type IV was statistically significant. The survival rates according to patient gender were 96.8% (male), 95.5% (female). The survival rates according to patient age were 100% (${\leq}59$), 93.8% (${\geq}60$). The survival rates according to the method of sinus elevation in the maxillary posterior area were 96.8% (without sinus elevation), 92.9% (lateral approach) and 89.8% (crestal approach). Conclusions: Dental implants can be used successfully in the controlled diabetic patients. In case of upper posterior region which has poor bone density and older patients, the implant treatment should be more properly planed, executed, and followed-up.

수치표고모델과 토지이용 데이터를 이용한 광역 도시경관의 특성에 관한 연구 -강원도 춘천시를 사례로- (A Study on Characteristics of Urban Landscape using Digital Elevation Model and Land Use Data -The Case of Chunchon City-)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of the urban landscape by CG(Computer Graphic) pictures and visibility analysis. In this study, the CG picture was created by using zoning data and DEM(Digital Elevation Model) on Chunchon city. The landscape type was classified into three by cluster analysis using the area rate of the element which constitutes CG picture. Visible analysis used DEM as fundamental data, and was performed by using GIS(Geographic Information System). And the frequency seen on viewshed was classified into five grades. The result of this study are as follows: 1. The area rate of the element which constitutes CG picture was high development restriction zone(43%) in type 1, green land area(39%) in type 2, and city area(24%) in type 3. 2. In the analysis results of GIS visibility analysis, it turns out that Euiam lake is important area on the landscape in all types. 3. The land use of high frequency seen on viewshed was water area, residential area in type 1, development restriction area, park area in type 2, and development restriction zone, water area in type 3.
