In an attempt to estimate the life projection of LED packages, IESNA published a paper regarding an LED package measurement test method in 2008, and a life projection technical document in 2011, to be used for LED life estimation. IESNA's publications regarding LED package measurement methods were functional, but they were not internationally standardized before 2017. In order to develop a standardized method, the International Standard chose to use the LM-80 as a measurement method for LED life projection in their publication in 2017. Many projection methods have been discussed by the IEC Technical Committee 34 working group, including the method using an exponential function, which reflects lumen degradation characteristics well. This study is designed to explore alternative LED package life estimation methods using an exponential function with statistical analysis, other than the one suggested by the International Standard.

Appearance of full-text online is the most encouraging phenomenon ·during the development of databases. The full-text databases of today is derived from by-product of electronic publication of printed materials. Now, there are also some movements toward electronic production of documents in Korea although not powerful. The present study is designed to examine the characteristics and effective retrieval method of full-text databases now commercially available through various vendors. The outline of this paper IS as follows: First, background and present situation of existing full-text database services through national and worldwide are examined. Second, free-text searching system of full-text databases is compared with controlled vocabulary system. The factors influencing on free-text retrieval performance, searching thesaurus, and hybrid or compromising system, which is using limited controlled vocabulary in conjunction with natural language for the enrichment needed for practical operation of the . system, are examined. Third, user demands through the analysis of preceding studies on 'various types of full-text databases are recognised. Fouth, application of CD-ROM full-text database to the libraries and information centers is examined as prospective resources for them. Finally, some problems and prospect of full-text databases are presented.

Excessive gingival display is an esthetic issue that is commonly managed by different procedures. Lip repositioning is a modality to address concerns of affected patients. The aim of this review was to investigate the scientific evidence on outcomes and long-term stability of lip repositioning surgery with or without myotomy. The electronic search was conducted in three databases: MEDLINE, Embase, and the Cochrane Library up to October 2019. No publication status, language, or time restrictions were applied. The electronic search was complemented by a manual search of the reference lists. Three hundred thirty-eight studies were screened by title, and 16 articles remained for data extraction. The included studies assessed the lip repositioning procedure in 144 patients aged between 15-59 years (134 females and 10 males). Based on the available data, lip repositioning with myotomy/muscle containment can be a successful treatment for minor discrepancies in gingival display in selected cases. However, further well-organized controlled clinical trials are recommended to derive a conclusion about the long-term stability compared with other alternatives.

Electronic publications, including e-journals, show a rapid expansion due to its several advantages for the academic and research community. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of e-journals on scholarly communication. The impact factors and immediacy indices were provided via JCR social science edition have been used to conduct a series of analysis on three subject fields, economics, law and psychology. The data from the last eight years show that the impact factors of e-journals have not changed, but immediacy indices have intensely increased in recent two years. Significant increase of immediacy indices is probably due to prevalence of e-journals or electronic sources of articles. The result reveals that e-journals play an important role in speeding up the scholarly communication. It is expected that the findings of this study can contribute to more efficient management of the digital libraries.

The most remarkable business model to Have merged in electronic publishing is the so-called 'Big Deal'. Major Publishers have begun offering libraries bundled packages that are across journals and across print and electronic versions. This paper examined consortium conditions of scholarly journals in the light of big deal. The result skewed that various pricing models have been appeared and freedoms to choose collections have been on the increase in comparison with the past. But many major Publishers have adopted a typical big deal contract condition that a library enters into a long-term arrangement to get access to large electronic journal collections at a dramatic discount interchange of a promise not to cut print subscriptions. The publishing and library communities need to find alternative pricing models that provide better deals for those disadvantaged by the prevalence of the big deal. Much in the world of scholarly publication is changing, combination of traditional publishing and open access publishing may well be gained public favor in the future.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness and the adverse events of high dose insulin/euglycemia therapy in acute calcium channel blocker (CCB) poisoning. Methods: We developed a systematic search strategy and applied it to 4 electronic reference databases. We searched medical journals as well as the bibliographies of relevant articles. All forms of literature relevant to human use of high dose insulin for acute CCB poisoning were included. The literature search was conducted by two investigators in August, 2015 with publication language restricted to English and Korean. Case reports were divided between CCB overdose alone and multi-drug overdose including CCB. The effect and adverse event of high dose insulin and clinical outcome of each case were analyzed. Results: Among 55 searched studies, 20 studies were included. A prospective study, a retrospective study, a systematic review study, and 17 case reports were identified. Case reports consisted of 11 CCB alone and 12 multidrug overdose cases including CCB. Although most cases described significant clinical improvements, one of them showed no beneficial effect. Several adverse events including hypoglycemia and hypokalemia were reported. No significant sequalae from adverse events was reported. Conclusion: Although there were many case reports demonstrating successful use of high dose insulin for CCB poisoning, the effect cannot be estimated due to a possibility of publication bias. Therefore, high dose insulin/euglycemia therapy might be considered adjunctive therapy in cases of CCB intoxication refractory for standard therapy.

Background: ${\beta}$-catenin plays a crucial role in the progression of breast cancer (BC) and a prognostic role of in BC patients has been widely reported. However, controversy still remains. Materials and Methods: Identical search strategies were used to search relevant literature in electronic databases updated to July 1, 2014. Individual hazard ratios (HRs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were extracted and pooled HRs with 95%CIs were used to evaluate the strength of association between positive ${\beta}$-catenin expression in different subcellular locations and survival results of BC patients. Subgroup and meta-regression analyses were performed to explore heterogeneity. Funnel plots of Begg's and Egger's linear regression test were used to investigate publication bias. Heterogeneity and sensitivity were also assessed. All the work was completed using STATA. Results: A total of 2,204 patients from 12 evaluative studies were finally included. Pooled HRs and 95%CIs suggested that ${\beta}$-catenin expression in cytoplasm/nucleus had an unfavorable impact on both overall survival (OS) (HR: 1.93, 95%CI: 1.40-2.65) and disease free survival (DFS)/ recurrent free survival (RFS) (HR: 1.60, 95%CI: 1.20-2.13) in BC patients. However, here was no significant association between ${\beta}$-catenin expression in the membranes with OS (HR: 0.65, 95%CI: 0.42-1.02) or DFS/RFS (HR: 0.66, 95%CI: 0.38-1.13). Publication bias was absent in all of the four outcomes. Sensitivity analysis revealed that the results of this meta-analysis were robust. Conclusions: Positive ${\beta}$-catenin expression in cytoplasm/nucleus rather than in membrane is a significant prognostic factor in patients with BC who have been surgically treated.

A Technical Manual is the tool that offers a guidance to a maintenance engineer in order to exactly use and maintain of complicated weapon system. Because the modern weapon system are complex and functionality integrated, its quantity is massive. So We spend a lot of money on its publication and suspending recent information. To solve this problem, to reduce a risk of loss and use easily, this study develops the IETM(Interactive Electronic technical manual) which observes the CALS standard. This paper provide the development concept, environment, technic of IETM.

Two marine gastrotrich species of the genus Acanthodasys, A. ericinus Lee, 2012 and A. comtus Lee, 2012, are taxonomically reconsidered. Both of them were originally described based on the specimens from intertidal or sublittoral sandy bottom of the Yellow Sea and Jeju Island, South Korea, and included in a monographical publication of in 2012. However, the description of them was quite insufficient, and designations of type specimens were entirely lacking. In this study, we make a subsequent designation of type specimens for the two Acanthodasys species, and carry out a full redescription of them with additional remarks on their morphological micro-characteristics by scanning electronic microscopy. Some brief nomenclatural notes on Korean marine gastrotrichs are also provided.

Recently, research for the micro printing technology has begun to get into the spotlight. It is due to the superior price competitiveness to existent semi-conductor process for manufacturing some parts of display unit, electronic paper, RF-ID information device, and so on. This paper present screen printing process not for paper publication but for parts of electronics such as PDP wall, LCD CF, and so on. There are two major issues. The first one is how to get a fine and even line pattern. The other one is how to get the same patterns in large area. In this research, we present the design, equipment, and process control of screen printing in order to overcome these issues.
